Four: Grease Pan (not edited)

Future A/N: sorry if this writing is crappy I haven't edited these few chapters yet I will be doing so but the writing gets better I swear! Like heaps better Xoxo old me did not know how to write

Austin had finally finished his tour of the house, having had to lean over the tiny home which was similar to a dollhouse that a child could have played with. He was like a big kid, as he pointed to things around the room with a giant finger. At time I have to admit, it was sorta awkward being shown around by the giant teen. He didn't know much about the house, giving brief and obvious details saying "this is the bedroom.. this is a bathroom" . The whole time I couldn't shake the need to want to sleep and for him to leave me alone, give me the chance to curl into the soft looking sheets and find myself in a land full of dreams.

"Thanks Austin" I couldn't help but yawn, rubbing my heavy eyes as I look back up at Austin's hovering head. He looked tired as well, his eyes having turned a light red and his eye lids drooping as if they were as heavy as cement. I could imagine I looked the same, hunched over feeling as if the weight of the world were on my shoulders

"It's alright, just glad you like it." Austin gives me a small smile which made my heart simultaneously flutter in my chest. His mouth twitched as he closes his mouth again into a hard line, clearly trying to hold back a yawn. As he moves away, his brown hair falls into his green eyes and he quickly moves his large hand up to his face to brush it back with a finger. His tired sea-green eyes look over the house once again before nodding in approval, as if he was happy with his fathers work at making the small home and his ability to give a great tour

"Good night then" i say without a second thought, letting my eyes close feeling deprived of sleep while still looking up at Austin. I know that he's still looking at me as I get that feeling of being watched. I don't even have the energy to keep my eyes open to see if I'm right, to even care.

"Good night shorty" I hear him mutter, amusement still in his voice. I groan loudly, with my eyes still closed I lean my back against the wall that I've been standing next to. I frown up at Austin, I really need a new nickname. I've had a lot of different nicknames before, good and bad, but shorty is the worst by far.

"I'm not short" I grumble at the ceiling, my eyelids closed and keeping everything around me pitch black as I look up at nothing.

"Whatever shorty" Austin laughs sleepily and I just groan again, long and loud. I lift my hands and rub my fingers over my face. I hated being called shorty, I wasn't short. I'm average sized for a seventeen year old girl, maybe a bit smaller but considering he's a giant of course I was.. short. I grunted to myself

The second the roof is placed back on top of my little house and locked in place, I listened to Austin walk away, his heavy feet thudding then his body making his bed groan. I then began to drag myself towards my amazing bedroom, to where I could picture my bed.

My own feet thud against the floorboards, not as loudly as I turn right and swing the door open. I let my eyes open just an inch, seeing my bed in all its glory I excitedly made my way over and fell in, landing on top the comfy mattress as if it were a cloud. I didn't even bother taking my boots off or even changing out of my clothes, finding that undressing would be too much effort.

I roll around so that I have wrapped myself up inside the soft blankets and make sure that I'm surrounded myself in pillows like a cave. I'm so tired I feel like I'm sinking into the mattress as if I were made of cement.

My mind seems to blur and I forget about giants, Austin, school that starts in a few days and pretty much everything, letting my muscles relax and become limp. I loudly sigh into the pillows, It's like I'm surrounded in a aura of warmth.

My heavy eyes slowly close and I feel myself drift into a deep slumber after a long day of travelling and dealing with giants. Letting myself fly away on a soft cloud of sugar and dreams.

[ A U S T I N ]

Carefully placing the roof back down onto the human sized house I let out a deep, long sigh. Stepping away from the desk the house is on, I run my fingers through my longish-dark-hazelnut coloured hair, spinning in a circle. I look at my roof in frustration, then look around my now dark room, my eyes eventually land on my reflection in my full length mirror. I stare at myself.

Not to sound cocky I looked at my toned bare chest, I've been lifting weights lately trying to gain muscle since I was told to be bigger for Backnott. I'm happy with how far I've come so far but I had more to do.. I had to eat quite a bit also to put some meat on me. My jeans hug my legs, the muscles bulging slightly through the fabric. Running made them like that. My eyes were red because of how the time and my hair is a mess, a total mess.

I look at myself again, up and down, looking for an explanation as to why Im so utterly and completely confused.

I couldn't understand why I'd suddenly been so nice to her? A human! Maybe I felt sorry for her or maybe because I found her a little... cute?... how she tried to be tough, even for her size. How she spoke back, no human had ever done that to me before. I liked how she became all bubbly and excited like a child who had been handed candy, when i offered the tour around the house that I had picked out for her...

NO! No, that's definitely not it.

I cant believe that I had just given a tour around a humans house, to a human and was nice. Well nicer then usual... I did leave her in a car for over an hour, on purpose. I sort of felt bad... I did forget though. I lied about falling asleep, I was actually talking to one of my closest friends Darrick Bartler on the phone, asking him if he would like to come over tomorrow to meet Tess. We started talking about our upcoming Backnott game against Rutherford High and I just forgot. It slipped my mind until Darrick asked what time he should come over.

I asked Darrick to come over the next day, Since he's the only friend I have that actually likes humans.

She's human! I couldn't wrap my head around as to what I'd just done?

Me!

Austin Taylor!

The Backnott captain and well known hater of humans.

Nice! To a human!

"Wake up"

"It's time to get up now"

"Hey shorty"

"Shorty!?"

"Rise and shine lazy bones!"

"I'll pick you up if you don't get up yourself"

*groans

"Come on shorty, I don't have time for this"

* silence

"TESS!" I shoot up from bed, my eyes snap open and my arms flail trying to get a grip of my blankets or at least something as gravity pulls me down. Instead I tumble out of my bed, hitting the ground hard I let out a yelp of surprise.

I search my room, expecting to see mum standing in my doorway with a towel wrapped around her head like always. But no ones in my room. Wait this isn't my room! I've never had white carpet before, where did that lamp come from, wait what's that!? And who was that?!

"Finally!" I look up to see a laughing Austin, whose looking down at me sitting on the ground. His dark hazelnut bed hair is everywhere, every inch of hair on his head is sticking out this way or that. I groan, rubbing my eyes to get rid of any sleep left in my eyes.

I let out a loud yawn, my lips curling back as I cover my mouth with my hands. I stretch dramatically on the ground, stretching my arms over my head I make my back crack.

I sigh and fall backwards onto the ground, looking up into Austin's tired eyes that are squinted as he looks back down at me with a lazy smile. His eyes slowly blink as he runs his large hands over his face. He still looks good when he's just woken up. What the hell!

I close my eyes again, another yawn escaping my lips. I reach over to pull the blankets off my bed and snuggle up into a ball. I'd happily sleep on the floor. I've done it before, nothing's stopping me now.

So I thought.

"Are you going back to sleep?" Austin's voice is so annoying, it's not something you'd wanna hear first thing in the morning. I know deep voices are suppose to be all calming and relaxing, but knowing the voice belongs to Austin, makes it annoying.

I groan a "hmmm" in response to his question and roll onto my side, bringing my knees up to my chest so that I can fall back to sleep.

"Come on shorty, I'm starving" just to prove his point there's a loud-deep gurgle that rumbles from his stomach. I open my eyes and sit back up from the floor, covering my ears at how loud his stomach is. How is somebody's stomach that loud? Even for a giant that would probably have been loud.

"See! Don't keep a growing boy from his food!" I look back up at Austin, who's looking at me impatiently. His eyes narrowing at me in annoyance as I just sit on the ground, looking back up at him in silence. His head bobs slightly up and down, shifting on his feet as he waits for me.

"Fine" I grumble biting the inside of my cheek I slowly stand up from the ground, lazily pulling myself up onto my feet. I decide to bring the blanket with me so that I can wrap myself up in the warmth like a cocoon. On purpose, I painfully slow begin to walk out of my room, dragging my feet behind me as I force my legs to move to the front door.

With each step I can sense the annoyance radiating off Austin, his eyes burning holes into the top of my head. His feet that are shifting from left to right becoming louder with each passing second.

I turn the corner and reach out to hold the railing of the staircase, making my way down the steps as if I were a princess walking into the ballroom. Austin groans above me, his stomach loudly growling again. A smile spreads across my lips as I reach the bottom of the stairs. I'm about to reach out for the door when movement to my right catches my eye.

I turn, seeing a girl standing in front of me. Her long brown hair is a tangled mess on her head, black makeup is smeared under her eyes, her clothes are creased from wearing them over night and wrapped around her shoulders and head is a giant blanket. She looks horrible!

I gasp realising what I'm looking is a mirror and that's me what I'm seeing. That's me! I look horrible, it doesn't even look like me. It looks like I've been thrown into a washing machine and somehow lived the ordeal to tell the tale.

"Stop looking at yourself and lets go!" I turn to see Austin impatiently running his fingers through his hair.

"I look like I died and then came back from the dead, then died again!" my voice is croaky and comes out more like a whine then a statement. Austin huffs, his head dropping back to look up at his ceiling. Giving me the perfect view of under his chin.

"No one cares what you look like Tess. It's only gonna be me, dad and your mum having breakfast, no one else is going to see you" I turn my head down to look at myself in the mirror again, my hair seeming to have gotten even more knotted.

"Can I at least change? Mum will notice that I wore this outfit yesterday." I turn to see Austin's face drop, his hands moving to face palm himself.

"Be quick or I'm going down stairs with or without you" he groans as he steps away from the house, his feet thudding loudly as he stomps across the room. He didn't even put the roof on the house.

"Chop! Chop!" I hear Austin's body flop onto his bed as he grumbles into his sheet. Mumbling something about being "hungry" and "I could die". I ignore him and rush back upstairs, throwing my blanket back onto the bed I quickly grab my bag.

I quickly unzip my bag. Trying to get inside as quick as possible so that Austin doesn't see me change. I pull the zipper so fast it snaps off in my hand. I stare at the zipper in my hands in complete shock, hearing sinking into my stomach. I blink at the zipper, good job Tess! Of course I broke it! I groan at myself before carefully placing it onto the side table next to me. I'll have to fix it later.

I ignore my now broken bag and dump its contents onto my bed, all my clothes, shoes, lingerie and makeup kit fall out. My eyes immediately land on an oversized shirt with a design of a tree with the shadows of birds flying out of its branches, I bought it for comfort not for fashion. I grab a pair of denim shorts with rips in the thighs and slip them under my skirt. I quickly glance up at the ceiling, listening for any movement from Austin. I don't want him seeing me get changed.

Faster then the speed of light i pull my black crop tee off and throw it across the room, not caring were it lands as I quickly pull my shirt over my head. I yank my skirt off my legs and flick it across the room as well.

Just in time to, because I hear Austin shifting on his bed, his loud footsteps beginning to move towards me again.

I snatch my hairbrush from my bed and start to rip into my hair, pulling the brush through the knots that tug on my scalp. I quickly give up on brushing my hair and just decide on tying it up. I stretch the hair band from around my wrist and bend over to wrap my hair up into a messy bun.

A shadow casts over me as Austin looms over my house, getting down on his knees so that he can see if I'm ready to go.

"You done?" Austin grunts, squinting his eyes in pain as he holds his growling stomach. How is he that hungry? How can anybody get that hungry, because I don't even like breakfast that much. I nod once, laughing at him I look down at my outfit one last time.

I don't like how my shirt covers my shorts, it looks like I have no pants on.

"Wait, I need to fix this" i hold up my shirt to Austin, showing how big it is compared to me. He whimpers like a baby and groans loudly but nods slightly as he closes his eyes again in pain. He's such a drama queen. I smile and slip into my ensuite, the only rooms in the house that have roofs that can't be removed are the ensuite's and bathroom. For privacy reasons obviously.

I search through my toiletries bag, grabbing an elastic band I decide to tie the extra material of my shirt into a bun, then tuck it into my shorts. I look at my outfit in the mirror, my shirt is loose but cuts off from where I tucked it into my shorts. My hair is a mess, but a good mess, if that makes sense. My smudged makeup looks terrible though.

I turn on the cold water, cupping my hands under the running stream I quickly splash my face, rubbing the smudged makeup from under my eyes. I can hear Austin groaning outside, his stomach loudly moaning in response to his hunger.

Once the makeup is partially gone I rush out of the ensuite, through my bedroom and then thud down the stairs like a torpedo. I race towards the front door, catching a glimpse of my outfit in the round mirror I nod in approval. Comfortable but cute.

I flip my heavy boots off and instead slip on my fluffy pair of black Ugg-boots, that sit beside the door. My aching feet are immediately enveloped inside a world of soft fluffy wool. I sigh at the soft clouds and turn to open the door to my house.

I swing the door open and am immediately greeted by the lower half of Austin's body. My cheeks burn red at how close I am, once again! To his crotch.

I pad across the porch, my feet dragging behind me as I make my way towards Austin. My heart hammers as I approach. My palms get sweaty and I feel my stomach drop to the ground as I look up, up, up to the full height of Austin. His giant chest heaving up and down every time he takes a breath. His hair is still messy, but for some reason it suits him. He's now wearing a white shirt, thank god, a big leather jacket, a pair of black skinny jeans and black boots. He looks badass and ready to go out for a night of partying.

Austin quickly crouches down to eye level, making me flinch at the sudden movement. I manage to stand my ground and look him in the eyes, showing no fear. His hand flexes and begins opening as he moves towards me. I wait to be grabbed from off the table, for his fingers to wrap around me and lift me into the air.

But instead I am greeted by Austin placing his hand flat on the desk next to me. His palm facing up so that I can climb on. I look from his palm to his face, then back to his palm again. I'm about six-seven inches in giant measurements. If I were two inches I'd be completely enveloped inside his hand and that would be terrible, imagine what it would be like for people that I knew that were smaller then me!

"Come on, I'm not going to hurt you" his hand begins to inch closer and closer, until his index finger is brushing up against my leg. I hesitate at first, but slowly move my right leg onto his finger, my teeth chewing through my bottom lip as I bring my left leg up onto his other fingers. I hate this so much, more then when I broke my arm.

I drop to my knees and slowly crawl to the centre of his palm, ignoring the fact that he's watching me trying to get onto his hand. Once on, I cross my legs and awkwardly look up to see Austin smirking at me. His eyes wondering over my body inside his palm.

"What?!" I snap, crossing my arms over my chest as I glare up at his oversized head. His green eyes glinting with mischief. I hate being in his hands, he could do whatever he wanted.

"Oh. Nothing... lets go" his smirk turns into a smile, his hand lifting from the ground, he raises me into the air. My breath hitches in my throat, my eyes slam shut and I unintentionally grab hold of the closest thing, tightly wrapping my arms around whatever I have decided to grab onto to help stabilise me.

"Babe? We've only known each other for what? Not even two days yet" keeping my arms wrapped around whatever I'm holding onto, I snap my eyes open, looking over my shoulder I glare at Austin. His face is closer then what I expected and I jump slightly at the closeness. His lips twist up into a smirk, two dimples I've never noticed until now appear on his cheeks.

"What! Don't call me babe! I'm not your babe!" I feel like punching his face, even if it wouldn't hurt I still would love to punch him.

"Okay princess. I know I'm irresistible but you gave me the wrong impression when you lunged for my finger" I groan at the new nickname. He's just creating new pet names every time he has the chance. I turn my attention back to Austin, a smile on his lips as he gestures to his hand with his head. I turn to see that I've wrapped my arms around his middle finger.

I quickly let go of his long finger and instead wrap my arms around my waist, hugging myself so that I don't try to grab his finger again.

"I was scared, okay. You move to fast! and stop with the pet names! It's weird" I blurt most of what I say. Not really knowing what I should say to a giant? Austin smirks at me again, his hand moving me closer to his face. I gasp as his lips nearly brush up against my legs. His green eyes becoming dark and mysterious seem to look straight through me.

"Ill try to slow down for you, because I know I need to practise a little. But! I'm not stopping with the pet names until I find the right one" my heart stands still in my chest, his breath lightly blowing against my bare legs and arms, causing me to shiver in his palm.

He laughs at me, moving his hand away from his face he moves me to around chest height.

"Lets go princess, I'm starving!"

•••

"Good morning you two, did you both sleep well?" I look to the stove, seeing a giant Brian cooking up a storm. Bacon, eggs, pancakes and toast are all laid out across the massive table where my mum is standing, setting up a smaller doll sized table.

"Like a baby! I was out in seconds" Austin walks over to the kitchen table, moving his hand towards the smaller table he places me next to my mum.

He smiles down at me before stepping away from me and the table and walks over to his dad, grabbing a plate from the cupboard he begins to pile his plate full of food.

"Did you sleep okay?" I turn to mum, seeing her look up from the small table she was setting. Her blonde hair is tied up into a high pony tail and she's wearing her work attire. Her black suit looks crisp and has been recently ironed. She looks good actually.

I slowly look down and my eyes widen at her bare legs. She's wearing a short skirt, showing off her long legs that I've never ever seen before. She's never worn a skirt to work before! Never worn anything that's higher then her knees before!

"Mum? What... what are you wearing?" I hiss, walking over to the other side of the table I look my mother up and down again. She looks good but this isn't her. She looks younger then usual, a natural glow on her glamorous tanned skin. She looks like she's aged backwards by ten years.

"What do you mean? I'm going to work" she stands straight again, looking down at herself once before she looks back up at me. Shes completely oblivious to what she's wearing. I grab the skirt in my hands, yanking at it to show what I mean.

"What's this?" I whisper yell, looking over my shoulder to see if Brian and Austin are looking, their not. Austin's back is to us and is still piling even more food onto his plate and Brian is unboxing something on the counter?

"A skirt" mum says in a duh tone, lifting her eyebrow at me as she looks at her black skirt then up at me again, confusion smothering her face.

"I know that! But since when do you wear skirts?" I drop her skirt and look my mother in the eyes, searching for an answer, waiting for when her... there it is! Her eyes move and quickly look behind me. I spin on the spot, turning to where my mum was looking.

Brian? Why Brian? My mouth immediately drops open to the shape of an O.

"Your trying to impress Brian, aren't you?" I spin back around, seeing my mums cheeks redden in a blush. She so is! She looks down at her shoes, a smile spreading across her lips as she slowly looks back up at me through her long black eyelashes. She smiles over at Brian cooking behind me. She reddens even more as she looks back at me again.

"Maybe" she nervously bites her bottom lip, lifting her hands to her cheeks she try's to cover her blush.

"Awww mum, that's so cute!" I squeal and step forwards, wrapping my arms around mums shoulders I give her a big squeeze. She's still a little girl at heart, she'll never grow up no matter what.

Mum laughs happily into my shoulder, her arms wrapping around me as she pecks me on the cheek. Her hair smells like coconut and her strong perfume once again makes my nose itch in annoyance.

Mum pulls me out of the hug and looks me straight in the eye, a smile tugging at her lips.

"Shhh don't tell anybody okay, I don't want him thinking I'm trying to impress him or anything, cause I'm not, kinda. Not really. Okay maybe! But If Brian ever mentions this to me I'll deny every word and hunt you down." We both giggle as we pull out our seats, "remember, I know where you live" she ads before picking up a cup and handing it to me.

"Here you are ladies" I quickly look up, nearly falling out of my seat when I see Brian leaning over the table, his hand outstretched with minuscule plates full of tiny food. Tiny to him but normal sized for me and mum.

"Oh! I'm sorry Tess, I didn't mean to startle you" I straighten myself in my seat, showing my biggest brightest smile that I can muster.

"Is fine Mr Taylor, it's my fault, I'm just not use to all... this." I wave my hands around in front of me, gesturing towards how big everything. Brian gives me a warm smile, his eyes brightening as he looks down at me.

"Call me Brian. And It'll take a while to get use to. I remember the first time I met your mother, She was shaking like a leaf the entire time" mum and Brian both laugh at the memory, mum taking the plates from Brian's hand. She smiles warmly up at Brian, running her hand over the side of his palm she plants a kiss on his finger. I nearly vomit at the sight.

"Thank you darling, it looks delicious" Brian smiles as he pulls out a chair to sit down.

"Get a room you two" I turn to see Austin has finally finished with stacking his plate with food.

"Shut up Austin" Brian laughs, picking up his newspaper he begins to sip his coffee.

Austin chuckles as he steals a slice of bacon from his dads plate.

Austin's plate is like a mountain of food! The amount of food on his plate could probably feed everyone back at the human quarters! No one would ever go hungry ever again for two years!

"Got enough food there" I gape at the plate. Austin sits down, placing his plate of food closest to me as he smirks down at me. Picking up his knife and fork he begins to dig in. I gasp as he literally stuffs his mouth and doesn't even chew.

"I would get more but I don't want to risk it all falling over" he mumbles through a mouth full of food. I roll my eyes and turn to the food sitting on my own table.

There's crispy bacon, eggs (boiled and scrambled), orange juice, toast, a box of cereal, a bowl of fruit and these little rolls filled with fruit.

Everything looks delicious!

I grab a fork and stab a pile of bacon, plopping it onto my plate. The smell is mouth watering and makes my stomach growl in response. I fill my plate with two boiled eggs, a mountain of bacon, a single slice of buttered toast and a cold glass of OJ. I plop a cube of bacon in my mouth and immediately melt into my seat. It's the best bacon I think I've ever had. Crunchy but not burnt, salty but not over powering. It's heaven from a pig.

Once I finish my second round of bacon and eaten one egg and nibbled on my toast a bit, I feel like I'm about to explode with bacon. I've never really enjoyed breakfast, but that was amazing!

"That was the most delicious breakfast I think I've ever had, thank you Brian" I lean back in my seat, holding my bloated stomach i smile up at Brian. Looking up from his paper Brian smiles back at me, two dimples appearing on his cheeks in the exact same spot as Austin.

"Your welcome Tess, I'll be sure to make more bacon for you next time seeing that you ate most of it" I blush, lifting my hands to my cheeks I smile at Brian and nod once. I ate most of the bacon, mum only had four slices. I love my bacon.

Austin sits back down at the table, his plate once again full of food for the second time now. Immediately he begins to stuff himself with scrambled eggs and bacon. It's like he's in hailing his food like a vacuum. Using his hands he pulls apart a slice of bacon, plopping it into his mouth he chews twice then swallows.

"Your like a living, breathing vacuum" Austin looks down at me, his fork dropping to his plate as a smile spreads across his lips.

"For your information, I normally have breakfast at around eight but for some unknown reason a little someone slept in til nine and then someone told me I had to wake that little someone up before I could have any breakfast" Austin looked from me to his dad. I look at Brian, seeing a small smile breaking across his lips in amusement.

"I wasn't gonna let you just leave our little Tess here all alone upstairs" I groan, leaning my head back in annoyance at the word little, I'm not little!

Brian and Austin burst out laughing when I groan. I feel my cheeks heat up and I glare at the both of them.

"I'm not little okay! God!" I throw my hands up into the air in frustration, I look to mum for some backup. She's also laughing but trying to hide it by stuffing her mouth with eggs.

"Mum! you traitor! I'm not little am I?" Mum looks up at me in surprise, her eyebrows lifting up her forehead as she looks at me then up at Austin whose laughing behind me.

"No honey, your not little" mum smiles at me over her coffee cup, before continuing to stuff her mouth with more eggs.

"See! I'm not little" I look at Austin who's looking at his dad in amusement.

"Really? So If your not little, then I wouldn't be able to do this" Austin's greasy hand moves and grabs me from my seat. Wrapping his fingers around my torso he brings me up to his open mouth, lowering me in like he's going to eat me. I wriggle inside his fingers and playfully scream as his mouth nears me. I hit his greasy fingers as he slowly lowers me more into his open mouth.

"Austin!" I laugh inside his greasy fingers, trying to wriggle out of his grasp. Austin closes his mouth and smiles at me. His greasy fingers feel disgusting against my bare skin and I'm defiantly going to have to shower after this.

"Put me down!" I squirm inside his warm greasy hand.

Austin's smile widens and he slowly brings me to his lips. He kisses me! Making a "mwah!" Sound he leaves a big-wet-greasy peck on my forehead. He smiles at me before placing me back on top of the table next to mum.

"Eww! Austin! That's so gross" I grab a napkin from next to mum and begin wiping his spit and bacon grease from my bare skin. My bird nest of hair has fallen out from my messy bun and is now flowing down my back. Great.

"Oh you loved it" Austin laughs, bringing his hand towards me he brushes his index finger against my cheek. Hooking his finger under my chin he makes me look up into his eyes. I shove his giant finger away from my face and continue to wipe myself down with more napkins.

"That's enough Austin" Brian smiles at me and Austin, obviously not caring that Austin just kissed me! Brian turns to look at my mother, bringing his hand down he rest his fingers next to my mums leg, slowly moving his finger up and down he caresses her tiny leg gently.

Ew please don't do that in front of me.

I look at mum seeing her turning to look up at Brian, a smile on her lips. She quickly turns to me and her eyebrow immediately lift and a smirk plays across her lips. She looks from Austin to me, her eyes widening as she looks back at me. She wiggles her eyebrows, gesturing her head towards Austin behind me.

I feel like slapping the look from her face! I quickly mouth the word 'NO', shaking my head like a mad woman at her. She nods then smiles down at her plate. My cheeks redden at the thought that me and Austin would like each other. That would never happen! No way! That's one big NO NO!

My thoughts are interrupted by the front door swinging open.

"Guess who!?" Both Austin and Brian groan at the voice that booms from the front door. Who could that be?!

{future author: writing does get better trust the process. These are old chapters I hope are not too cringe!}
