Thirty-Nine: Surprise

One week went by and then another. Many days passed and she hadn't even thought to step foot back into school. Couldnt face the giants, couldn't face Austin. She hadn't spoken to Austin the entire time she'd been trapped within her human home, he'd come by to try and speak to her on multiple occasions but she'd simply ignore him until he'd give up and leave. The only outsider she would make contact with was either Darrick, who would shrink and come inside to lay in bed with her and watch movies, occasionally allowing herself time to be held in his giant hands when he'd leave or be feeling too achy to shrink. Or Jace, who would come around and sit at the office desk and talk to her about his day at school. Her mother tried visiting but work was her priority, having to leave early and arrived home late.

Most of her days was sitting in her room, either watching movies, on her phone or reading a book. Turning over onto her stomach, now currently laid upon her mattress she let out a sigh peering to the time. 2:30 PM the clock read, darrick would be finishing school soon and be arriving like he usually would to climb into her bed. She rested her hands upon her cheeks feeling the blush on them, even still he made her heart flutter and her stomach flip just by thinking about him

"Stop that~" she murmured to herself, squeezing her eyes she buried her face into the pillows of her bed, hiding her head entirely beneath the cushions. She couldn't believe still, that Darrick was her boyfriend. Had almost forgotten that he'd asked her on to bf his girlfriend on that night.

When he'd arrive, she always knew it was him as he would close the door to the office and lean his bag against it incase anyone were to try and enter while he was changing quickly out of his giant clothes before he shrank. Having a dedicated box to place his clothes in, he kept it hidden behind the door along with his human clothes. The process of changing and shrinking was rather quick, Tess sometimes stealing a glance out of her window to catch him unbuttoning his shirt or undoing his fly. She couldn't never look any longer than a second, her face becoming hotter then a raise of the sun and she's scamper into the confines of her blankets and waited, listening to his heavy footfalls up the stairs then for her door to open.

Turning on her phone then, she began to look at instagram to pass time. She found herself on Jamie's Instagram, looking though his posts that smiled back at her. She saw he had a story posted and quickly clicked on the icon to see, gasping quietly to herself as the picture that appeared on her screen was a selfie of himself and a large Ava smiling at the camera. She'd spoken to Jamie only the other day on the phone, supposedly Jamie and Ava had been getting along like a house on fire, Jamie already having stayed at her house most afternoons and Jamie was planning on staying overnight over the weekend and refused to spill whether he was planing anything would happen or not yet between the two.

Tess startled where she lay in her bed as her human sized home around her shook as the desk that her house sat upon was bumped into, looking up as she heard a loud grunt then more loud thuds from what she could only presume was being caused by a giant. Procrastinating on whether she should look, not knowing if it were Darrick changing and had tripped into the desk or even Jace stumbling in on clumsy feet. She hesitated, before finally slidding out of her sheets out of curiosity to peer quickly out the window. As her hand came to graze the curtains, her world suddenly jolted around her and she fell back onto the floorboards as her house shook as if there were an earthquake rattling the walls. Stumbling around she tried regaining her feet as her world shook as if her home was being lifted, grasping onto anything to keep her stable.

"What the hell!" She shouted as she heard a click and looked up in time to see her roof being taken off and replaced by green eyes appearing over her and a head of tousled dark brown hair. She gasped as Austin looked down at her small trembling frame, his brows furrowed and mouth drawn into a thin line. Cowering beneath his gaze, she moved to scramble to her bed to hide but yelped as a hand appeared inside her room before her and stopping her in her tracks. She instinctively raised her hands to cover her head, dropping to her knees in attempt to curl into a protective ball away from the giants unravelling fingers

"Don't!" She shouted, her heart beating she prepared herself to be grabbed, picked up and man handled by Austin. She had been purposely ignoring the giant, had she made him mad? Was this him getting pay back? Hugging her head in her arms, she couldn't help the whimper to escape her lips as she waited to be dragged from the safety of her home.

*click*

She flinched at the sound, but noticed as she was left untouched, unprovoked. Unharmed. Lifting her head slowly, she then noticed the calm around her, the silence that followed and her eyes drifted up to see that her roof was once again intact and Austin had placed her home back down. Her breath shaking, she slowly uncurled from her trembling ball on the ground and stood on weak knees. Tess could feel her heart racing in her chest, mind alert and adrenaline pumping through her veins. Her eyes drifted until they landed upon her bed, mouth unhinging at the sight before her.

Placed upon her bed was a pile of what she could only assume as being assorted gifts. She could see face masks and exfoliants, a large pink teddy sat amongst the pile, hand towels and scented candles. Stepping forward she picked up a bottle of expensive shampoo and conditioner, turning it over in her hands curiously to read the label. Was this all for her? Turning her eyes down, her brows raised as there was even expensive chocolates, candy and sweets. And there was more, more hidden amongst the wrapping and bags of what appeared to contain more gifts of soaps and expensive skin care products and even silk pyjamas. If a person were to look at these gifts they'd probably think Austin to be some suitor of hers.

"Oh my god~" Tess spoke softly in disbelief, climbing onto her bed she reached out for the teddy bear, bringing it close to her chest to cuddle against her heart. These gifts appeared to reflect the idea of comfort and relaxation, candles and face mask, chocolate and bath soaps? It was a girls dream and more. Frowning, she curled her knees close to her chest as she looked at the gifts, fingers digging into the softness of the teddy bear until she felt tears brim in her eyes. Was this Austin trying to apologise? She had purposely been avoiding him, hated him for what he'd done, what he said to her back in what she could only imagine was hell itself. Held a deep and unrelenting grudge on the larger boy which she couldn't shake and knew it must have begun to affect him.

So deep in her thoughts, she didn't even hear Darrick as hed entered the office and changed, didn't even hear him as he shrunk and climbed the human stairs. Tess startled when she felt warm arms wrapping around her waist and pulling her into the comfort of a large chest, she was shocked to see Darricks smiling face. She immediately melted at the touch, turning without even a second thought to curl into Darricks arms.

"Hello there~ Uh~What's all this?" Darrick looked over the gifts upon her bed with raised brows, tilting his head as he looked at her in his arms, she felt her cheeks become warm beneath his gaze. Shifting, she gently tugged at the end of his shirt feeling a weight on her chest realising what this must look like to Darrick. Having a bunch of gifts of chocolates and teddy bears suddenly turning up at her house.

"It's all from A-Austin~ he, he just came in and placed it in my room." Tess spoke shyly and she kept her eyes down as to avoid the look she knew would be burnt into Darricks features, she could feel his body tense around her smaller frame.

"Did he say anything to you? I told him to give you space~ AGH he never listens," Darrick grunted, sounding frustrated as he shifted her in his arms, making her blush as he took a seat and she was now sat on his knee like a child preparing for a photo with Santa "I'll go tell him to leave you alone if you want~ I'll do whatever you need me to do" Darrick frowned, sounding more annoyed than angry that Austin had gone against his promise to give the human space for a bit.

"No no~ it's okay.. he was being thoughtful, i guess.." even if he just carelessly caused an earthquake "I think he's just trying to make me feel better~" Tess rested a hand on Darricks chest, rubbing in slow circles to calm her big angry boyfriend. Darrick huffed, his chest raising and falling beneath her fingers.

"I still don't like that he came in here.. baring gifts or not" Darrick murmured and his hand lifted, making her insides twist as he simply brushed back a strand of loose hair off her face with a finger. Tess didn't know why he made her still feel so nervous, had butterflies in her tummy and her heart beating a million miles an hour

"It's okay~ he didn't hurt me. Austin wouldn't~" her sentences drifted and she stammered over her words "u-Uh he just startled me is all" she didn't know why she was standing up for the Taylor boy. She'd been grumbling and cursing about the boy beneath her breath with every day that passed, had the gifts really warmed her heart that much that she forgave him? No she wouldn't let herself just forgive so quickly, couldn't forget just like that.

Her eyes drifted to the teddy still clasped in her hands and she pursed her lips as she set it aside, "do you think I'm being too harsh?"

Darrick looked to her for a long second, cocking a brow while his fingers found her hips "If you feel uncomfortable around him, he should accept your wishes to have some space for the time being. He~"

"But he's pretty much my brother now~ I should~"

"Just relax~ Tess, you need time. You still get nervous around me when I'm giant, don't push yourself too hard okay?" Darrick wrapped his large arms around her body to pull into a hug, practically squishing her small body against his oversized chest. She squirmed for a second to pull her head away from his pecs, trying to look at him to retort but instead was met with large lips pressing against hers. His lips were so soft like the touch of an angels wings, so plump and delicate. Her eyes widened and she nearly tugged away, not having expected the kiss since he'd always simply given her delicate kisses since she was so small, but in that kiss was a rawness, a passion, a richness as millions of loving thoughts were condensed into a kiss. Tess couldn't help the small hum that escaped from her throat and quickly gripped the back of Darricks neck to hold him closer, keeping him longer against her and letting her eyes flutter close.

So engrossed in his touch, focusing on the movement of his lips she didn't realise that he'd laid her on the bed and was now hovering over her as their lips were still linked. She only noticed when she felt a hot breath on her neck once he pulled back , then the tender brush of lips. Burning as they make contact with her neck. A large hand runs through her blonde hair, as the kisses become harder and more urgent. Another hand slides around her waist, and pulls me close to his large body. Darricks kisses moved across her shoulders and grazed over her collar bone. Her mind was frazzled, her body warm beneath his and she delighted every touch, it felt so perfect, so right with Darrick. She selfishly wished he could stay this size forever

After just a few delicate touches of his warm lips her hands start to do his bidding. Her small fingers ran down his back as her head swims, all previous thoughts of Austin, of giants and her fear stopped in their tracks as she lay with Darrick. Now there is only one desire, one wish, and they both knew that it was just a matter of time before it happened.

"I've wanted this for so long" Darrick whispered against her neck, his voice deep and sending a shiver down the length of her spine. Moving her hands along the width of his wide shoulders, she marvelled as she felt the intense muscles beneath her fingers as his kisses became more delicate.

"Same here, this still doesn't feel real" Tess whispered back, her breath shuddering as he pulled back to look down on her where she lay upon the bed. She was so small compared to Darrick, who took up nearly the entirety of the bed that was still cluttered with the gifts from Austin which made a hot blush grow down all the way to her toes. A large smile grew across his dazzling face and a low chuckle rumbled deeply from his chest, raising his hand he light grazed his finger against her warm cheek.

"Your really red right now" he hummed, making her only blush deeper and squirm beneath his wandering gaze, eying her like a hungry dog and a slab of meat

"Am I~?" she swallowed tightly and lifted her hands to her cheeks, feeling the heat beneath the pads of her fingers. Whimpering softly out of embarrassment, she had to avoid eye contact as he smiled at the sounds she made.

"Would you like me to stop?" Darrick spoke calmly, resting his elbow beside her head he moved to roll off her but was instead stopped in his tracks as she quickly grabbed his shirt, pulling him back over her body.

"No! No... don't stop" Tess smiled, feeling her cheeks still radiating heat as he sent her a mischievous smile. Her breath hitched and her heart hammering, could feel her heart beating in her fingers and toes.

"If you say so~" Darrick purred and her brain turned to mush, his lips coming down to connect once more with hers. Darrick was a good kisser, his larger body and lips seemingly knowing exactly how to move and how to hold her with the right amount of passion, as if he'd done it before. Suddenly thoughts ravaged her mind and she thought back to what Josie had said, how Darrick may have slept around. Grunting, she didn't think, just acted as she pulled out of the kiss and quickly hooked her leg around Darricks hip and forced him over onto his back on the bed til she sat straddled in his lap. She knew it wasn't true, but couldn't help feel frustrated.

"Tess~?" Darrick gasped, shocked as he looked to her now suddenly over him but his shock was quickly replaced with a low moan as she pressed rough kisses to his strong neck, angry at Josie, how dare she say such things about Darrick. Angry also that she was so small and helpless, trying to take back some kind of power as she lay waste to Darricks neck with her mouth, not caring about hickeys or Darricks growing excitement. Darrick had seemingly become lost in the moment. Kissing Darricks neck was like turning the key to his engine. She could feel him melting beneath her lips and she marvelled in controlling the larger boy, gently biting the sensitive skin while his wandering hands moved down her spine. Even the gentle movement of her warm breath in his ear and he suddenly had no resistance at all.

Darrick seemed to know Tess would leave marks that he didn't want, but he really didn't want to stop the feeling of her teeth against his skin.

Tess would've kept going, could feel Darrick already beginning to move to take off her shirt as his hands manoeuvred up stomach, but was instead interrupted as the wood of the bed let out a loud uncomfortable groan beneath their weight. She tried to ignore the sound, to continue her onslaught but Tess had to pull away as the expanse of Darricks neck became too large to cover in kisses and her eyes widened as her knees no longer touched the bed, instead finding that the body beneath her was suddenly out growing her! At first she couldn't tell if she was shrinking or he growing, but as he out grew the bed she knew he must've been so engrossed in her kisses that he had lost control of his size.

"Oh my god. Darrick!" Tess shouted, seeing as Darrick hadn't noticed as he was absorbed by lust, didn't realise that he had began suddenly growing beneath his tiny girlfriend, becoming larger and larger by the second. He didn't stop until his head bumped the ceiling and he let out a shocked cry as the bed legs collapsed beneath the weight of her now very large boyfriend! Tess gasped, pressing her hands to her mouth as she looked up to Darrick who opened his eyes now. He now filled her entire bedroom with his body, legs stretching over the end of the bed and toe nearly touching the opposing wall while his head just grazed the roof. Tess was tiny again, not as small as she was compared to when he was giant but definitely considerably smaller.

"Ouch! What the hell~ " Darrick grumbled, rubbing at his head and looking to the ceiling, looking confused for a long second as to why it was so close all of a sudden. It was as his eyes turned back down did his expression twist into shock, his mouth falling agape and eyes widening. Tess reflected the same expression, not believing her eyes. Darricks cheeks quickly turned a shade of red as he realised what had happened, eyes spotting his tiny girlfriend perched atop of his large abdomen that was ripping at the seams of his once fitted shirt and jeans "o-oh shit"

"I think you got a little bit too excited there" Tess tried to suppress a smile. She could tell from his blush that he was embarrassed, cheeks having a rosiness to them, it was cute. But she couldn't help as the laughter escaped her lips, looking down the length of his large body that had outgrown his clothes. Tess had to cover her face, feeling flustered seeing as he'd nearly ripped out of his small pants as she continued to laugh.

"I'm so sorry I did not mean to do that! That's so embarrassing, oh my god!" Darrick spoke quickly and shifted uncomfortably in the tiny room, looking still very embarrassed as he tried to quickly concentrate on shrinking but was too overwhelmed. Grabbing at his throbbing neck, which was red and already bruising, he looked around himself at the small room desperately as if seeking for help. His ears were red similar to his cheeks, making her laugh more at how flustered he had became as he tried shrinking again.

"It's okay! Really it's okay, just shrink quickly!" Tess laughed, keeping her hands loosely over her face but couldn't help but peer between her fingers at her large boyfriend who had ultimately crushed most of Austin's gifts and broken her bed. She didn't care, instead unable to hold back her burst of laughter.

"Stop laughing! I can't concentrate!" Darrick whimpered, gasping as the floorboards groaned beneath his weight, threatening to break.

"I can't help it!" Tess cupped her hands over her mouth but giggles continued to slip from her lips, her eyes wandering over his muscular torso that was bursting out of his ripped shirt. Even if they fell through the floor, she didn't care since she got to look at his mouth watering body.
