Skylar sat quietly in the infirmary, watching Nana make her a pack of things to bring with her. Kellan and Penelope were leaving soon... with Skylar in tow. At the moment they were with Leo and Victoria in his office, discussing whatever it was Alpha's needed to discuss. Likely Skylar's situation and Cassie and Orion's mating ceremony. She'd been left with Nana, but she didn't mind. She needed time with the old woman after spending the last day with her new parents. And spending the last day watching Orion and Cassie fawn over one another, always touching, always close. It drove Skylar's dragon insane, and Skylar simply hurt all over. Of course she needed to figure out that she was in love with him after watching him with another woman, right before she would leave him forever. After figuring out that she'd been nothing more to him than a convenient friend, not when he had Cassie waiting.

"No one ever tells me anything," Nana suddenly said. "I thought you would be staying long enough to attend Laura and Percy's mating ceremony."

Skylar shook her head sadly. "I wish I could, I'm so happy for them. But Leo wants me gone, and Kellan and Penelope want me where I can't run away."

"And they're leaving Cassie and Jed here?"

Skylar cast her eyes downwards. "Yes. They want Cassie to have more time with Orion than just a day. So she's going to stay here with him while Kellan and Penelope take me back to the Eastern Clan. She'll be here with him, and I won't." She finished quietly. Nana walked over and wrapped her arms around Skylar, holding her tightly. Skylar, not realizing how badly she needed a hug, embraced the little white-haired woman enthusiastically and rested her head on her shoulder.

"So, you figured it out then?" Nana asked her, stroking her hair.

Skylar sniffed. "Figured what out?"

"That you love him, of course."

Skylar leaned away, but Nana still kept her hands on her. She knew there was no use in lying to her, or herself. "Yes. And all it's done is caused me more pain."

Nana's eyes lit up. "Have you told him? Perhaps it isn't as hopeless as you apparently think, my dear."

Skylar ran her hands over her face. "He hasn't talked to me since Cassie arrived. Hasn't even looked at me." Saying it out loud hurt more than anything, like it somehow made it more true, not just something she'd been thinking.

"I could smack that boy upside the head," Nana growled, letting go of Skylar. "My grandson is one of the smartest people I know, but he can be as dense as a bag of rocks."

She walked back over to the plants she was putting in a little box and arranged them again, even though they'd been nothing less than perfect before. Almost like she needed to keep her hands busy so she didn't go hunting for Orion.

"What are those for?" Skylar asked. "I'm sure they have herbs in the Eastern Clan."

Nana snorted. "Nothing of this quality. I prepared these special, and I want you to have them, so you can practice healing. I will see you again, Skylar, and I want you to stay refreshed on everything I've taught you so far. I even wrote you some notes with things I haven't had the chance to teach you." She opened a drawer and pulled out a stack of neatly folded paper to put on top of the herbs.

Skylar's throat tightened at the gesture. For Nana to share her knowledge with an essential stranger, especially when that stranger was leaving to join a different clan.

"Nana..." she said, standing up and walking over to her. Skylar wrapped her arms tightly around her, squeezing her eyes closed. "Thank you."

Nana chuckled, patting Skylar's hair. "You're welcome, love. I've grown very fond of you, and I'm sorry that you're leaving."

"Me too," she sighed. "But Leo wants me gone."

"Leo is a fool, and I've told him so a hundred times, but his head is thicker than his son's. As much as I want you to stay, I know you'll be okay with Kellan and Penelope. And once the danger has passed, you can come back and I'll teach you everything I know."

Skylar straightened back up, smiling. "I'm looking forward to that."

"Me too," she laughed. "It isn't very often I have such a bright pupil who is so eager to learn."

Just then, Skylar's nemesis swung into the infirmary with Orion, Jed, and Olly at her heel. Had Orion and Cassie been apart at all since they'd arrived? The only time they'd been separated was when everyone had gone to bed last night, and Skylar had been awake when everyone finally went upstairs. She had been back in her old room, and only Orion had passed her room on the way to his own. Everyone else had gone to the other rooms at the other end of the hall. She'd very nearly snuck over to Orion's room like she had that other night, but talked herself out of it. Tensions were high enough with her new family, she didn't need to raise them even further by giving off the impression that she was trying to steal Cassie's betrothed. Of course she wanted to, now that she'd identified the feelings that might very well have been there all along, but she was a good actress. She could hold it in long enough to leave, and then she could break down in tears, when she was finally alone.

"Hi, Ruby June," Cassie greeted Nana brightly. Nana did not smile at her, hardly acknowledged her with more than a grunt. Skylar bristled at her appearance. Now her time with Nana was ruined.

"Hello, Nana," Orion said, leaning down to kiss her cheek. This brought him close enough that Skylar got an unwelcome whiff of his scent, the musky woodsiness of it. She held her breath and backed away, knowing that she wouldn't be able to resist truly smelling him if she remained in such close proximity any longer.

Orion didn't acknowledge her, yet again, as he stepped back and wrapped an arm around Cassie. Pain blossomed in Skylar's chest, and that constricting feeling appeared again. She took a deep breath to try loosen it, but it didn't help.

She took another step back and a strong arm wrapped around her and squeezed. She looked up and saw Olly there, offering her support and comfort. She leaned into his arm gratefully, glad he was there.

"Hey," he said brightly. "Nana, you're looking lovely as ever." Nana grinned at Olly and laughed.

"Well of course I am, sweet boy. And what have you been up to today?"

Olly shrugged, grinning his usual mischievous grin. It was a comforting sight, something normal, finally. Skylar glanced over at Orion and saw him staring at Olly's arm where it hugged her. As soon as he saw her looking, he glanced away. But he couldn't take away that moment of eye contact, and she relished in it. Mostly because he had seemed greatly bothered by the way his brother was touching her. She shouldn't think a lot of it, but her dragon was desperate for any contact with him, and that was as much as she was going to get today, so she was going to hold on to it.

Olly's voice rumbled in his chest as he spoke. "Jed and I trained with Percy this morning, but then he was called away to deal with having his new clothes fit for the mating ceremony. He didn't look very excited, and none of us envied him."

Jed laughed, his face softening once again. Skylar was still deciding how she felt about her brother. She certainly liked him more than her new sister, but she had no idea how she was supposed to act around him. She didn't have any siblings, so she wasn't sure about the dynamic they shared. Were they supposed to be best friends? Were they supposed to compete? She had no idea.

Jed nodded to Orion. "That'll be you in few weeks, if you can stay away from Cassie long enough to get it done."

Cassie cuddled into Orion and very nearly purred. She couldn't have looked more self-satisfied if she had a crown placed atop her head. "Shut up, Jed," she laughed, a tinkling, attractive sound, "It's not our fault we're in love."

Skylar's lip lifted slightly in a snarl and Olly's arm tightened around her, holding her in place. "Calm down," he muttered in her ear. "Control your dragon."

"No, of course not," the voice that would break Skylar's heart said. Hearing him talk to her like that, staring at her like she was the only thing in the room, Skylar and her dragon wanted to tear him to shreds. Orion reached up to brush a piece of Cassie's perfect red hair out of her face. Of course it flowed and glistened as if the wind had no affect on it. Skylar thought of her own mess of ginger curls, the ones that managed to look frizzy and be affected by the wind even though they were pulled back in a braid, and immediately felt self-conscious.

She looked down at her feet, unable to watch him touch her so gently, so freely. This was torture, pure torture. She'd never been jealous before, and it was not a feeling she wanted to have often. She felt like she was going to explode, that her dragon was going to break free and hunt Cassie down. Her dragon very much liked that idea and stood at the ready. She positively despised Cassie for even looking at Orion, let alone touching him and claiming to love him. And for Orion to agree... that might have been worse than anything else she'd seen them do.

"Is there anything I can do for you? Or is this just a social call?" Nana asked with a sympathetic glance in Skylar's direction.

Jed's eyes lit up as if he'd forgotten their reason for coming. "Oh, right, Mom and Dad sent me. Orion and Cassie just tagged along because they saw us headed this way." He turned to Skylar, his green eyes kind and excited.

"They're almost done talking to Leo, and they'll be ready to leave after that," he stated matter-of-factly.

Orion made a surprised sound. "You're leaving?" he asked suddenly, looking at Skylar for the first time, asking her. Skylar didn't answer him, immediately looking away.

Cassie assumed he was talking to her. "Oh, don't worry, love," she placed a possessive hand on his broad chest. "Jed and I are staying here with you."

"What?" Orion's eyes took on a slightly panicked look, which just confused Skylar. What could he possibly care?

"Mom and Dad are taking Skylar back to the clan to get her settled, and then they'll be coming back for your mating ceremony."

"My birthday is next week," Cassie purred. "So, they're setting a date right now, with your father and Victoria. Isn't that wonderful? We'll truly be mated soon, Orion, love."

The blood rushed through her ears, deafening her to Orion's response. The room tinged red and her breathing increased. She could feel her heartbeat behind her eyes, where a headache was forming. Her dragon raged inside her head. How dare they? How dare Cassie throw that in their face.

Skylar swallowed, looking over at Jed. She couldn't bear to look at Orion, for fear that he wouldn't be looking back at her. Olly was almost holding her up at this point. She took a deep breath, steadying herself. "How long would you say until they're ready to go?" She was so proud of herself that her voice didn't shake.

"Thirty minutes, probably. They'll need some supplies, and that's the other thing we came here for. To see if Ruby June could help pack some plants and food for you guys?"

"Well, it looks like she already started packing something," Cassie pulled away from Orion to step towards the box Nana had packed for Skylar.

Skylar growled and stepped forward defensively, away from the calming arm of Olly. She snatched the box off the table, pulling it toward her. "This is mine."

Cassie frowned at her, nearly glaring. "I didn't realize you and Ruby June were close enough for her to give her concoctions."

Nana came to Skylar's rescue, gently taking the box from her. Apparently she wasn't done filling it. "Skylar is like a granddaughter to me, of course I would give her my recipes and herbs."

From the look on Cassie's face, Nana had never said such a thing about her. Skylar felt not a small amount of satisfaction. She let Nana take the box and stepped toward the door.

"I'm going to go find Laura and Percy, to say goodbye. And then-- and then I'll be ready to go," she said to Jed. "I'll be back soon."

She left the infirmary, holding back her tears. She didn't head toward the Square, toward Laura's house. Instead she headed toward the trees, where Orion had taken her that very first day, to help her break open the cage. Tears streamed down her face as she navigated back to that quiet spot, the spot where she first realized she wanted to set her dragon free. It was special, a sacred spot to her now, and it seemed like a good place to be alone and say goodbye to the clan she had grown to need.

She picked up her speed and ran, her vision blurred by her tears. She wasn't a crier, had never been a crier, but she'd also never had her heart so thoroughly broken before. She'd heard the term heartbreak before, but she never thought it would feel like her heart was being physically pulled from her chest.

Finally, she reached the spot and sank to her knees. She leaned back against a tree, buried her face in her knees, and let the tears come. She'd never felt this strongly about anything, not even when she hated her dragon. But she'd never loved someone before, nor been rejected by them. She sat there, trying to understand the intensity of her feelings. Her dragon paced back and forth, thoroughly bothered by Skylar's despair. She herself was full of rage and possessiveness. She wanted to march back there and claim Orion as hers. For she thought he was hers, he and his golden dragon. She wanted to scream to the world that the Alpha male belonged to her, refused to believe that Cassie had any right to him. But Skylar knew better. Orion had been promised to her, given to her because of who their parents were. But he didn't seem too broken up by any of it. Not by the way he touched her and followed her around, talked about their impending mating. Thinking of him with her made Skylar sick to her stomach.

She took a shaky breath, forcing herself to calm down. She couldn't cry over a man. She was a princess, the daughter of two Alphas, and she had more important things to worry about than a man she loved who apparently loved someone else. She shouldn't waste any time on him, that's what Greta would tell her. Greta would tell her that if he didn't see her for how wonderful she was, he didn't deserve her. Yes, that was the mindset she needed if she was going to leave with Kellan and Penelope and not fall to her knees and beg Orion to help her. She would not disgrace herself in such a way.

She inhaled deeply through her nose and out her mouth, and wiped her wet cheeks with the back of her hand. Okay, yes, this was good. Calm down, lower your heart rate, picture some travesty befalling Cassie. All of that helped her easy the emotions roiling inside her. She would not cry over a man.

She heard the voice before the footsteps. She cursed herself for not paying closer attention to her surroundings.

"Skylar?" Orion called, his voice worried.

He was absolutely the last thing she needed right now. How dare he, after everything, come after her?

She sniffed the air and was satisfied that he was alone. If Cassie had been with him, Skylar would not have been responsible for what her dragon would have done to her.

Petty as she was feeling, she didn't answer him. For her sanity, she couldn't be near him. She couldn't have him checking on her.

"Skylar, where are you?" he called again, his footsteps getting closer. "I know you're here, I can smell you."

She clamped a hand over her mouth in an attempt to keep her dragon from forcing her to answer. The love struck beast couldn't hold a grudge against the object of her affection. Lucky for both of them, Skylar could.

She knew when he spotted her, because his footsteps froze and his voice softened immediately. "Hey, there you are. Why didn't you answer?"

She rose to her feet quickly to face him, growling. This time the anger was all her. Her dragon wanted to run into his arms and never leave.

"I want to be alone," she snarled.

"Skylar, I know this is hard," he held out a hand to her, his golden eyes soft and comforting. They were sad, she realized. His dark brown, nearly black, hair was flowing free today, the way she liked it. The breeze lifted it around his chiseled face, which was etched with worry. "I didn't think they would take you away so soon after they arrived."

"Well," she snapped. "You can thank Leo for that one. But you should be happy, you'll have Cassie all to yourself now."

"What? Skylar, no-"

She wasn't about to let him try to explain himself. "You know, where I come from, men actually show some dignity when they're courting a woman. They don't follow her around like a lost puppy. I expected more from you, Orion."

Anger flared in his eyes. "Hey, I-"

"No, you don't get to defend yourself. You promised to protect me, to keep me safe, to stand by my side. Did that mean nothing to you? Because it meant something to me, those promises. I thought you were a man who honored your word, and yet you haven't even looked at me in the last two days. You've been too busy fawning over that girl! What, something better came along so you didn't have to worry about me anymore? Is that what it was? Was I just something to distract you until Cassie got here?"

He glared at her. "Now that isn't fair, and you know it." His posture stiffened and she could sense his dragon's anger as well as his own. Well, her dragon was angry now too, Skylar's mood finally affecting her.

"Do I? Because from my end, it looks like you just told me some pretty words so that you could feel like a hero, and then when someone else came around who was ready to take me on as a responsibility, you left me. You left me all alone."

He raked his hands through his hair. "Skylar, please believe me when I tell you that it isn't like that at all. When I heard they were coming, I came up with a plan, but I never thought they would try to take you away so quickly."

He had just let a crucial detail slip, and he didn't even noticed. But Skylar picked up on it instantly. "When you heard they were coming?"

"What?" he snarled. "Yes, when I-" And she saw when he realized what he said. He froze and shook his head, his hands locking into his hair after he ran it over his face. "Let me explain."

"No! You knew!" she roared, stepping toward him threateningly, her voice dangerously low. "You knew who I was, that they were my parents, and you didn't tell me?"

"You had enough to worry about without that, you didn't need anything else on your plate," he said weakly, holding his hands up defensively. He tried to take a step toward her, but her glare froze him in place.

"That's no excuse!" she roared, her eyes glowing as true anger and betrayal coursed through her. He had lied, right to her face. He'd looked her in the eye and told her he didn't know what would happen to her. "You let me feel all alone and afraid for almost two weeks! You let me wonder and worry about what this other Alpha would do to me, let me fear for my life. You stole me from my old life, and then left me all alone to be afraid in this new one. I trusted you, completely, and you just-"

"I didn't want you to go away!" he exploded, thoroughly interrupting her and throwing his hands into the air. "I was selfish. Is that what you want to hear? I didn't tell you because I was selfish and I was worried that you would ask me to take you to them, or that you would be excited they were coming and want to leave with them. To not know who you are and then have your parents served to you on a silver platter? That's something people dream for, and it would have been your reality. I couldn't bear the thought of you leaving, because then you wouldn't be around anymore. I would have to marry your sister, live here with her, mate with her, and know that you were at the Eastern Clan, always where I could find you, but always out of reach." The anger had left his body, but his eyes were locked on hers, holding her in place. Desperation and sorrow radiated from him, previously hidden beneath his anger and stony exterior, but now he was letting her see it. "Skylar, I just wanted you to stay, for as long as possible."

Words failed her, mostly because she couldn't find any to respond. She couldn't have possibly heard him correctly. It sounded like he didn't want Cassie, not at all. That he wanted... her. But his words and the images in her head didn't make sense. She'd seen them together. She'd watched him hold her hand, touch her, smile at her, make her laugh, and, worst of all, kiss her. All of things that made her want to throw up and then rip Cassie apart.

"But- but you and Cassie?" she gestured blindly, speaking quietly. Her own anger had disappeared, just leaving her a little lost. "I saw you with her, heard you today. You love her."

He snorted and shook his head, running his hand through his hair again. "No, I don't. I don't even really like her that much. I never have. But I've always pretended, for her sake, Kellan's sake, and my own sanity. And this time, I really had to try. Because if I didn't, they all would have seen right through me." He stepped toward her, and she let him this time. "I'm sorry that I ignored you, but if I'd looked at you, I wouldn't have been able to act anymore. I thought I had more time for my plan to work, to talk to Kellan. I never thought they'd take you away the day after they arrived."

"Oh," Skylar nodded slowly. "Okay."

"You know I never minded before. Never found it hard to act like I wanted Cassie as my mate. I was dedicated to my people, and she was simply another duty, so I accepted it. I knew that I wouldn't have love in my mating, that all she would ever be was a companion who bore my children. That the furthest our relationship would go was friendship. But I didn't care about that, because I didn't think it was for me. I didn't think that I was capable of that kind of mating. Then I met you," he spoke so softly that Skylar had to take another step toward him, very nearly closing the distance between them. "And I realized how wrong I was."

Skylar felt her eyes go round, and she thought for a moment that her heart was going to beat out of her chest. Was she hearing him right? She was sure she was, and couldn't stop the smile that touched her lips. She stared up at him, her eyes never leaving his. They were standing so close now, they were almost touching. She twisted her fingers together to stop herself from touching him, from closing that distance.

He continued, looking down at her, his golden eyes like liquid, the softest she'd ever seen them. "I couldn't let you go, Skylar," he whispered. "I couldn't stay away from you, and I couldn't keep a straight head when it came to you, and, until recently, I had no idea why."

Skylar smiled, amazed at how easily he'd poured his heart out to her. She wanted to do the same for him, but she felt that she would have been repeating a lot of what he had said.

"I understand that feeling," she whispered instead. His eyes brightened slightly, and that seemed to be enough for him.

"So, that's why I didn't tell you," he sighed, vulnerability pouring off him, but he wore it well, with a contradicting confidence and his usual arrogance which Skylar found amusing. "I'm a selfish man who couldn't give up something that wasn't even his."

She cast her eyes downward and stepped forward, finally closing the space between them. Their bodies were flush and she looked back up at him. He stared down at her, a new spark in his golden eye. Slowly, but surely, she ran a hand up his chest to cup his cheek. The fire in his eyes only grew stronger as she did so. Very carefully, she used her thumb to stroke the scruff on his cheek, next to his full mouth. She not only heard, but felt his heartbeat pick up. It was racing in time with hers, beating just as strongly. Knowing that he was feeling the same as she did, that he'd been acting like he had because he was protecting her, washed away every bad feeling she'd had only ten minutes ago. She felt safe and protected, just like he promised. Hearing him say it all out loud, confirming it to her, laying himself out there without any shell, told her more about him than anything he'd done before then.

"Orion," she whispered huskily. "You are not selfish." She believed it with her whole being.

A smile pulled at the corner of his mouth, next to her thumb. "Yes, I am," he argued, wrapping his arms around her and bringing his mouth down to collide with hers.

She responded immediately, her arms sliding up to wrap around his neck, not allowing him to escape while also pulling him closer. His strong arms slid lower around her waist, lifting her up to push her against one of the trees to kiss her more thoroughly. His tongue gently pushed at the seam of her lips and she opened to him, completely at his mercy and happy to be there. She raked her fingers through his hair, and he moaned into her mouth as her fingernails gently scratched his scalp. She could feel his hard body along her entire length, and she reveled in it. In him.

For the first time, she felt a primal tug inside of her, pulling her toward him. Begging her to do... something. She wasn't sure what, but she wasn't about to focus on that right now, not when she had something much more interesting to think about.

Her dragon roared in triumph, the sound echoing in her head. The beast's elation spread to Skylar, bringing her mood even higher than it already was. Her dragon was celebrating that the thick-headed human had finally done something about her attraction to the human Orion, had finally started to claim him as theirs. Skylar agreed wholeheartedly, and moaned happily into him. He responded with a playful growl, sliding one large hand so it was under her bum while the other came up to cup the side of her face. She wrapped her legs tighter around his waist to pull him closer, powerless against her instinctual response to him.

Orion finally pulled his mouth from hers and she felt his teeth graze her throat. They were sharpened, she realized. When she felt slight pressure, she realized he was about to claim her, to mark her as his. Her dragon was basically begging him to, but Skylar the human wasn't quite ready for that. At least she didn't think so, even though she could feel her own teeth sharpening in response. She found control and gently reached down to pull his head up so he was looking at her. His eyes were glowing, and she was sure that hers were too. But now wasn't the time, nor the place. She wasn't even sure what this was yet, other than that it was intense and more wonderful than anything she'd ever experienced before.

Orion seemed to read her mind, because he took a deep breath and his teeth went back to their perfectly, blunt, whiteness, and his eyes stopped glowing. She forced herself to calm as well, and her dragon went to pout in the corner. But Skylar didn't worry about the beast, she would be fine. She wanted to worry about the man whose hands were still on her. They were both breathing heavily, and a smile plastered itself on Orion's face. He chuckled and leaned forward to rest his forehead against hers, closing his eyes as if he were tired.

"I really had no intention of doing that when I came after you," he admitted. "But I won't lie and say that I haven't wanted to do it for a while now."

She laughed with him and stroked his cheeks with her thumbs. "Whatever your intentions were, I'm pleased with the outcome."

He opened his eyes to look at her again, and they were gleaming with pride from her words. "As am I." He leaned forward to kiss her again, this time more gently. Her body was warm from his touch, and she was very quickly becoming addicted to it. It was better than anything she could have ever imagined. She didn't have a lot to compare it too, just Jonathan's kiss, but this was so different. Her kiss with Jonathan had been nice, exciting since it was her first kiss, but it was nothing like this. This was passionate, and right. It felt like her soul had found its place.

"HA!" a self-satisfied voice cheered from behind Orion. He immediately swung around, dropping Skylar and placing his large body between her and the threat. "I knew it!"

The threat turned out to be a very smug Nana.

From her position behind him, Skylar watched Orion's neck and ears turn pink, embarrassed at being caught in such a compromising situation. Skylar couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed herself, but the grin on Nana's face was enough to ease her feelings.

"Nana," Orion began, his voice a little raspy. "It's not-"

"Oh, hush!" Nana told him, still beaming. "I knew there was something there. I'm glad you two finally admitted it to yourselves and each other."

Skylar squeezed Orion's bicep where she grasped it to steady herself. He reached back slightly and touched her hip. The easy touching, the fact that she could touch him now, just made her want to shout with joy.

"Nana," Orion sighed, glancing back at Skylar. "You can't tell anyone. I'm still betrothed to Cassie."

Nana chuckled happily. "Not for long, it would seem. This is so wonderful!"

"What are you doing here?" Orion finally asked, still in his defensive position.

"Well, Skylar left in such despair, and then you went after her, and it had been a while. I had to make sure she didn't some tear you to shreds," the little old woman explained. "But I see that everything is just as it should be."

"Yes, well, we're fine, as you can see," he rolled his eyes. "You can go now."

"Yeah," Skylar added, grinning up at Orion. She couldn't help but let Nana's mood affect her as well. Besides, she still felt like she was floating. "We're fine."

"I can see that," Nana nodded. "Well, I'll just be going now. Don't worry, I'll let every know that Skylar is going to be a moment, but that she is just perfectly fine."

And with that Nana left with a definite bounce in her step.

Orion let out an exasperated chuckle as he spun around and pulled Skylar to him again. She was still giddy from their kiss, and she couldn't keep the huge grin from her face. She placed her hands on his strong chest, just smiling up at him.

"Do you think she'll keep it to herself?" she wondered.

"Yeah, I do," he shrugged. "But to be perfectly honest with you, which I intend to be from now on, I really don't care."

"Me either," she chuckled.

His smile only grew and he leaned down to kiss her nose. "I hope you realize this means that there is no conceivable way I'm letting you leave with Kellan and Penelope."

She raised an eyebrow at him. "And I hope you realize this means there is no way you could stop me from staying right here with you."

"Good," he whispered, leaning down to claim her mouth once again.

Just then, two dragons swooped low over the trees. Each with a rider on their back donning a green uniform.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wooooo!!! It finally happened! I hope it made everyone extremely happy, and that no one was holding out for Cassie and Orion or Skylar and Jonathan. It made me happy finally writing it and making it real, so yay for everyone!
