Finally, I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet, and Levi looked at me with a raised eyebrow in question. "Now, why the hell are you here again?" I asked and cocked my head, studying him.

Levi blinked and blinked again before he cleared his throat and shifted on his feet. "Do you have to be in a bra and shorts?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question, not answering my question.

I rolled my eyes and scowled, pressing my lips into a thin line. "Uh, because this is my normal attire when I sleep?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question higher. "And because you are in my room?"

Levi set his jaw and narrowed his eyes. "Hmph," he said. "Can I enter?" he asked, changing the subject before he looked at the gun. "Or are you going to shoot me?" He looked at the gun still in my hands before he looked at me again, slowly blinking.

I bit back a small smirk and shrugged. "Not yet, Alpha," I replied with a small hum in my voice. "You haven't pissed me off that much." I paused, and my smirk grew tighter while I dipped my head closer to my chest. "Yet."

Levi held back an eye roll and pressed his lips into a thin line. "Well, can I enter?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question. "And can you put on new clothes, please? You're distracting."

I scoffed a laugh and rolled my eyes while I pressed my lips into a thin line, feeling a little self-conscious about my appearance. "Very funny, Alpha," I said coldly and turned away from him before I gestured for him to follow me. "Go ahead and come in that way you leave sooner and get away from my ugly self."

Levi growled and grabbed my wrist before I got too far away from him. He slammed me against a wall with a soft thud, and a small "oomph" escaped my tight lips while I stared at him with wide eyes.

Shit...

My heart skipped a beat before it started to pound faster in my chest while I stared at him, grabbing the gun tighter.

Levi leaned closer to me, and his breath fanned across my lips, but he didn't kiss me like I thought he would. "Never ever call yourself ugly, Alexandra," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, his whole body shaking from fear or lust, I couldn't tell which. He narrowed his eyes and scowled. "Is that understood?"

I set my jaw and nodded, my heart pounding harder in my chest. I didn't say a word while I stared at him, not knowing what was going on, and why he kept me pushed up against the wall when he finished what he had to say.

Levi placed his face into the crook between my head and neck and took in my scent, and the hair on the back of my neck stood at attention. "Shit," he muttered under his breath, and my heart skipped a beat before it pounded harder and faster in my chest. "What are you doing to me, Alexandra?" he asked, his voice turning to husky with a deep voice. "To us?"

I bit back a small snort and moved my head a little to the side so that he would have more room to place his head there. I didn't say a word and closed my eyes, letting myself enjoy this moment when I knew that it couldn't last.

"What are you doing to me?" he muttered again, his voice barely above a whisper, and he slowly started to put his lips on the crook of my neck where he would mark me, and my heart skipped another beat before it started to pound faster and harder in my chest.

Oh, shit, shit, shit...

I set my jaw, my heart breaking a little because I knew that I was going to have to end this, no matter how much I didn't want to.

I wanted him to mark me even when he was still controlled...

Biting back a small sad sigh, I shoved him away from me so hard that he stumbled backward, not expecting me to do that.

He landed on my bed with a soft thud and oomph, and he stared at me in shock, his mouth open wide as well, and I stared at him with wide eyes because I didn't expect me to do that either.

"Are you two ok up there?" my grandmother asked from downstairs, not walking up the stairs and called upstairs from downstairs, and I had a feeling that she raised an eyebrow in question. "I heard a thud." She paused and cleared her throat. "Well, I heard two thuds actually."

"Yes, Grams," I said and held back an eye roll while I scowled, my face turning back to neutral. "We are fine up here. The thuds do not mean anything, so do not worry about it."

"Hmph." There was a small smirk in her voice, and I rolled my eyes and scowled again. "Don't get pregnant too soon, Alex Dear," she said with a small teasing tone in her voice. "I don't need to be a great-grandmother just yet."

My cheeks turned a little red, and so did Levi's because we both knew what he meant. "Grams!" I exclaimed, and she chuckled, amused. "What is the meaning of that comment?"

"Nothing, my dear granddaughter," she said, and I had a feeling that she shook her head. "Now, can you two come down and get some tea, please? Go ahead and get some tea for us. Are you dressed, Dear?"

I rolled my eyes and scowled, pressing my lips into a thin line. "No, Grams," I said. "I am not dressed. I am in short shorts and a sports bra. Father had woken me up, and then Alpha appeared before I could get dressed."

"Hmph," my grandmother said with a small chuckle in her voice before she cleared her throat. "Well, then, why don't you go ahead and get dressed, Dear? Leviathan, go ahead and come down so that she can get dressed alone." She paused and cleared her throat. "She doesn't need help getting dressed."

Levi growled and narrowed his eyes, setting his jaw, and his whole body grew tense. He didn't say a word while he looked at me, and I had a feeling that he didn't want to for some reason.

"Come," she said with a soft scowl in her voice. "Now, Leviathan."

Levi hesitated and looked at me, slowly blinking and pressing his lips into a thin line. He didn't say a word, and I had a feeling that he wanted me to say something, anything, to let my grandmother know that I didn't want him to leave.

I bit back a small sigh and shook her head. "Go, Alpha," I said before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet. "She won't let up until you are down there."

"But why tea?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question. He folded his arms across his chest and scowled, narrowing his eyes while he stared at me. "Why do I need some tea?"

I shrugged and grimaced because I had no idea why she wanted to give him some tea. "No idea," I replied coldly, "but she isn't going to give up on it. Go ahead and get your tea. I will have to get mine later."

Levi hesitated again before he slowly nodded. "Fine," he said. He cleared his throat and shifted on his feet. "How long are you going to be?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question.

I bit back a small smile and shook my head. "A few minutes if that long," I replied and shrugged, grimacing before I moved a hand through my hair and cleared my throat, feeling dirty and grimy, even though I had taken a shower before I had gone to bed. "I think I will need to take a shower before I get dressed, so have fun with my grandmother."

Levi scowled and narrowed his eyes, shaking his head, setting his jaw. "No," he said coldly. He walked over to my bed and sat down, folding his arms across his chest and started to act like a child. "I am going to be staying here."

I held back an eye roll and scowled. "And why not?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question. "Why do you want to sit on my bed and not go downstairs? Grams is going to come up and collect you herself."

"Leviathan, are you ignoring me?" my grandmother asked, and I had a feeling that she was coming up the steps with a small scowl on her face. "Where are you?"

"He's in my room, Grams," I said and shook my head before I cleared my throat and shifted on my feet. "He is on my bed, Grams, and I don't know why he is wanting to stay here, but he is."

My grandmother tsked, and I had a feeling that she shook her head while she continued to make her way to my room. "And he doesn't want tea?"

"Not without Alexandra, Grams," Levi said, and for some reason, he sounded a little hesitant about it. "She wants to take a shower before she gets dressed, and I want to stay put on her bed while she does so."

My grandmother made it to my room and stopped before she leaned against my door and folded her arms across her chest. She looked at me before she looked at Levi. "And I want you to come with me," she replied, coldly, leaving no room for an argument. "Alex will be fine by herself. Won't you?" She looked at me again and raised an eyebrow in question.

I held back an eye roll and pressed my lips into a thin line, biting back a small scoff. "Yes, Grams," I said, and she smiled innocently and shrugged. "I will be fine by myself. Why do you think that I won't be?"

"Oh, it's not me that doesn't think that you will be fine by yourself, Dear, but him." She gestured to Levi, who looked annoyed before she chuckled and cleared her throat growing serious. "I believe he doesn't think you will be fine by yourself, Love, and I want to assure him that you will be."

I bit back a small snort and rolled my eyes while I turned my attention to him, pressing my lips into a thin line. "Can you please go and do what she wants, Levi?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question. "Why are you e-"

The phone that I used as the Viper vibrated from where I had hid it, interrupting me, and I silently cursed and held back an eye roll.

Seriously? I silently wondered, pressing my lips into a further thin line but ignored the phone while I looked at Levi. Why is that phone going off?

Levi furrowed his brows and cocked his head, and I knew that he was confused at the sudden noise that interrupted me from talking. "What's that noise?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question while he looked between me and my grandmother, who had become stoic.

"Gee, I think that is a phone that someone is calling but is on vibrate instead of on sound," I said sarcastically and raised both eyebrows in unison. "Why don't you know what it is?"

Levi rolled his eyes and scowled, pressing his lips into a thin line. "Well, where is that phone?" he asked, not answering my question while he raised an eyebrow in question. "And who is calling you?"

I scoffed a laugh and shook my head while I rolled my eyes. "The hell I know," I said while I walked over to my nightstand where I had placed that phone. "It's not like I have that automated voice that says who is calling me."

"And what would you have me as if you have my number?" Levi asked and raised his eyebrow higher in question.

"Alpha Dickface the Second," I replied instantly without a single thought, and my grandmother tsked to hide a chuckle. I shrugged and grimaced before I cleared my throat and looked at him. "Unfortunately you won't be first because that spot is already taken by Nike."

Levi narrowed his eyes and scowled, and a look of hurt flashed across his face before he was able to cover it. He didn't say a word while he looked at me, and I could tell that he wanted to know the reason why I decided that I would have him as "Alpha Dickface the Second" and not something else.

"And does Nicodemus know that you have him as Alpha Dickface the First in your phone?" my grandmother asked and raised an eyebrow in question. She didn't ask why I had the phone in a lockbox because she knew that it was the Viper's phone and knew that I didn't want Levi or anyone else to be able to get to it.

I didn't respond and stopped at my nightstand, kneeling next to it and stuffing the gun back under my pillow before I turned my attention back to the nightstand, where my phone vibrated angrily.

I opened the nightstand drawer to reveal the lockbox that I kept in the nightstand where the phone sat and put in the code that I used to unlock before I grabbed the phone and silenced it.

"Well?" my grandmother asked when I looked at her after I had silenced the Viper's phone and stood. She raised her eyebrow higher and cocked her head while she studied me. "Does he?"

I smirked and dipped my head closer to my chest. "He should," I said before I cleared my throat and closed the lockbox as well as the drawer that held the lockbox.

I moved my way to the door and paused in front of it while I looked at them, flashing them a wink. "It is because it was his mate who had done it in front of him."

And with that, I excused myself and went to my office alone, praying that the Puppetmaster wouldn't try to call me before I did so.

I didn't want Levi to know who was calling me or not...
