DAMION'S POV.

"My man betraying me." I said silently as I sat there on the chair in front of Spivak.

He was shaking with the fear for life. The surroundings smelling of blood. The atmosphere was thick and chilly.

Totally dark. Like all of us.

I was enjoying his condition.

"You didn't do it good Spivak." I whispered my eyes not moving from the cube in my hand.

Will had gripped his hair forcing him to look up. But his eyes still stayed on the ground refusing to meet mine.

No one dared to look into them.

"What do you know?" I asked.

"R-Rey.. I..I.. d..don't know anyt-"

"Wrong answer is it?" Ken asked raising his eyebrows challengingly.

His hand going to a knife that lay on the ground.

The silver knife with at least twenty blades joined to each other which could bend at different angles. The knife was pure beauty.

Spivak's breath hitched at the sight of it in Ken's hand.

His eyes widened with horror and he started shaking even more.

I smirked looking at him.

I looked at Ken and gave him curt nod. That was the only indication he needed.

He stepped forward with wicked smile. Holding the handle in his hand he swung the belt of blades towards him and he looked at it in horror before his screams filled the room.

I watched Ken hitting him. The blood spilling on the floor. On our clothes and faces.

I watched him begging and screaming for mercy.

But I didn't show it to the traitors.

He had betrayed me. He had to know what it takes to betray the Rey. What it takes to lie to me. To give me false information. And mainly, to break my trust.

He had broken a promise and I had absolutely no tolerance for people who couldn't keep their promises. If you can't keep a promise you made to me, you should forget to breath as well.

Cause that is what I do.

You don't get to betray me. This was the last string on my patience and I was trying hard for keeping it from snapping. Cause once I take that beauty in my hand, Spivak wouldn't breath for longer than 5 minutes.

I needed to be patient with this. Cause I needed him alive. I needed to know about Erik's plans.

I looked at Ken.

"Stop." I said my voice resonating through the room.

He stopped as soon as he heard my words. His eyes spilling fire and rage had consumed him.

I knew if I hadn't stopped him, he would not have stopped unless Spivak's body fell lifeless on the floor.

Spivak was covered in blood. His body had deep cuts that could never be healed.

I didn't want them to heal.

This would remind him what he had done as long as he was alive. Which wasn't for a long time though.

"What is he planning?" I asked simply.

He was breathing fast, his voice not coming out. The screams had made it impossible for him to speak.

Those screams were music to my ears. Calming and relaxing. Satisfying.

I stayed silent watching him try to speak something.

"Er..Erik.. He.." He started but his vocal chord didn't seem to support him.

Tears streamed down his eyes as he felt the pain.

I didn't like dragging my men to the Dark Wing, but he left me no other option.

I wouldn't have done any of these, but again, he had to betray me.

I sighed and got up from my chair.

I walked towards him. He looked at me his eyes becoming of the size of saucers.

I smirked lightly as I took out my small knife from my waist band and held high to his head.

His eyes moved upwards trying to look at the knife.

I played with him, the blade barely touching his skin.

He was panting sweat covering him.

I moved the knife down his eyes following the movement in complete horror till I reached his neck. I held the knife at the from at the base of his neck where there is a small dip between the neck and the collarbone.

He kept looking at me in pure fear and I was enjoying the helpless look in his eyes.

I knew all of my men were watching me there eyes set on my back.

They had always enjoyed watching me kill someone.

I pressed the blade in the dip and he screamed.

"What is he planning?" I asked again calmly. My voice dripping with venom. But cold one.

Cause calmness is deadlier than anger.

"I.. I really d..don't d..don't k..know R..Rey." He said forcefully making his mouth to form words.

"Tell us what you know." Ken said pulling his hair making him look up.

"What do you know?" Ken repeated.

"He.. he is u..uniting t..the o..other fam..families a..ag..a..against y..you." He said his voice hoarse.

"Anything else we might want to know?" I asked.

"He i..is p..planning to a..attack the c..club in N..NewYork."

I looked back at Douglas and he nodded quickly disappearing behind the door. He knew what should be done.

I looked at Ken and nodded. He gave me a curt nod of acknowledgment and I lowered the blade.

Spivak sighed in relief but in a moment it turned into screams as Ken again started with him for what he did.

I sat there silently. This continued till 3am. By that time, Spivak fell unconscious on the ground.

"Clean his wounds. Bandage them. Keep him alive." I said to Roger and Will and they nodded.

I walked out of the room Ken closely following me.

I turned to look back at him. His whole white dress shirt was covered in blood. His eyes blood shot and face all sweaty. The rage on it showed he wasn't satisfied. So wasn't I. But we had to keep him alive.

"You think you can go to NewYork with Douglas?" I asked.

He looked in deep thought as he stayed silent.

"I guess I can." He said.

I looked at him for a moment.

"Ara is really tired from a week of training and fights. She needs some rest as well and Douglas needs someone with him. You know how he is." Ken said.

I nodded at him and nodded.

"Okay. You will be leaving tomorrow then." I said and he nodded.

"Goodnight Ken. You need some sleep." I patted his back.

"Night Rey." He smiled.

We parted our ways and I walked upstairs to my room.

I opened the door to find her asleep. She lightly snored and her hair fell on her face. I smiled at the sight of her.

I shook my head keeping down the gun and the blade on the table and got into the bathroom for a shower.

I smelled like blood.

I showered for a long time until, the hot water relaxed my body washing away all the traces of blood I had spilled.

I got out changing into sweatpants, walking out of the bathroom.

I saw her still sleeping in the same position burying her face in the pillow. Her hand resting in front of her face. The knuckles were bruised and so was her face. The bluish bruises on it were visible and I knew it hurt.

I got into the bed beside her looking at her face.

My fingers slightly trailed the bruise and her eyebrows furrowed a light wince leaving her mouth.

If she was awake, I knew she wouldn't have shown it. She would have kept her face emotionless.

But her sleeping form was more responsive. She had started opening up to me a little. Showing her emotions and what she felt.

She wasn't a girl who didn't feel the pain. She was just good at hiding it.

I tucked the loose strand of her hair falling on her face behind her ears and she sighed in sleep.

My fingers lightly caressed her cheek making her smile a little while sleeping.

She was tired since past few days. She loved practicing but I knew she was getting exhausted from all that rough training and fighting. But that was necessary.

It was her choice and I didn't want to keep her in cage. I knew this was risky but I was there with her. Every moment. I would never let any damn thing happen to her.

I wouldn't keep her from doing the only thing she loves.

I shifted towards her and wrapped one hand around her waist.

She rolled towards me on her own in her sleep making me smile.

I held her close to me and she sighed.

I took a deep breath inhaling her as her face rested in the crook of my neck. She loves to use my hand as her pillow as I ran my fingers through her hair.

This was the daily thing.

After practices she just eats up whatever comes in front of her and falls on the bed sleeping instantly in my arms.

My fingers lightly caressed her hair and I knew she loved it.

This was my peace. Holding her to me as she fell asleep silently. Knowing I was there for her. That I would always hold her when she will fall.

I closed my eyes feeling really tired.

After she fell asleep, I get back to my work everyday.

This was the only time in the night when I could complete my extra work and visit Dark Wing. Ken was also busy practicing in the day so this was the only time we had.

We worked when she was asleep.

Cause I knew she won't sleep unless I hold her. That all she wanted was to sleep in my arms after a whole tiring day.

And how could I let that opportunity go?

This was the only time in the day where she would be with me.

So I did work at night.

Cause I was happy to give up on my sleep for holding her to me after a long day.

I felt her move closer to me if that was even possible now as she snuggled deeper in my neck and I sighed happily sleep engulfing me.
