DAMION'S POV.

We drove back to the Wing in comfortable silence. She kept looking at me and I tried my best to concentrate on the road.

She wasn't making any efforts to hide her stares. And I loved that thing about her. She was comfortable in accepting whatever she was feeling. I didn't mind her looking at me at all. I was all hers to look at.

I pulled into the garage and she got out of the car. I did the same.

I rounded the car going at her side and smiled at her. I held her hand entwining our fingers and she stared down at them for a moment. I knew what she was thinking.

We walked to the wing. I dropped her to the room.

"I will be back in few hours Argyl. Stay in okay?" I asked her.

She smiled and nodded.

One more thing I absolutely loved about her. She never questioned me. Never.

She would agree immediately to what I was saying. Not because she feared me. I knew she did not.

But because she trusted me. She knew I won't be doing anything that would ever harm her.

She trusted me.

I kissed her forehead smiling down at her and she closed her eyes momentarily.

I pulled back and she smiled walking into the room and closed the door behind her.

I closed my eyes for a moment blocking away all the thoughts in my mind.

I again felt the anger building inside me as I remembered today's incident.

I called Roger in my office and walked there thinking about the incident.

I opened the door to see him standing in there.

"Rey." He said bowing down his head and I nodded at him.

"They were not Erik's men." He said.

I raised a questioning eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"The man you killed, he wasn't Erik's." He stated.

"Argyl killed." I corrected him.

He looked surprised for a moment but he recovered quickly.

"Right." He said.

He opened his phone showing me his picture.

"He didn't work for Erik."

I got hold of the phone from his hand.

The man had the bullet shot in his head. His brown eyes lifeless and blond hair falling on his face.

I stared at the picture trying to remember if I had ever seen him.

"Whom did he work for?" I asked Roger.

"I am still working on it Rey." He replied.

"Get me the information as soon as you can Roger." I said.

He nodded.

"The man that ran away?" I asked.

"I have sent Myron on his way. He will found him in no time." Roger replied.

"Ask him just to keep an eye on him.We don't need to drag him to the Dark Wing." I said and he nodded.

"What about Ken and Douglas?" I asked.

"They have left from NY. They will be here by morning." Roger said.

"Good. We are done here. I need the files of the clubs and the rings. Get me those as quick as possible." I said dismissing him and he nodded going out.

I sat in my office for next few hours working on the clubs and going through all the deals of drugs and other things, trying to spot anything suspicious. But I found nothing.

I felt like ripping my own hair off. I was loosing my cool slowly. The Demon in me coming out. I threw the paperweight on the floor letting out my anger. My hands balling into fists.

He was planning something I wasn't able to get. This wasn't just an attack on clubs or the Empire. It was bigger than that. It was bigger than just keeping an eye on me and Argyl. I knew it was bigger than that.

Much bigger and worse if I was not wrong.

My nerves told me that Empire was in huge trouble. Something real bad was coming.

I was waiting for it.

I was ready for it.

We needed to stop him. Cutting his money was my first step. We needed to challenge his Duos as soon as possible.

This was the time for a fight.

A double fight.

It was the time for Argyl to make her move.

To take the bastards down.

It was the time.

ARGYL'S POV.

"Here is a news for you Ara!" Ken shouted from the door and I stopped punching the bag glancing at him.

He entered the room smiling widely and wickedly. It didn't take me long to realise it was some sadist news.

He was always happy at the thought of killing or hurting someone.

I raised my eyebrows at him.

He grinned walking towards me.

"Speak up Ken." I snapped.

"We are challenging the Duo in a week." He said smiling.

"Really?" I asked him a smile growing on my afce as excitement rushed through me.

"Yes. Damion has finally agreed." He said and I jumped on him hugging him with all the power I had jumping up and down.

He held me keeping both of us from falling on the ground.

"Trying to kill me woman?" He asked.

I loosened stepping back.

I couldn't stop the smile on my face.

I finally was going to fight again.

I was happy at the thought.

So happy that I couldn't control my excitement.

"I am so excited for this!!" I said smiling widely.

He smiled back.

"So am I." He said.

"Damion agreed?" I asked him.

I knew he didn't want me to fight before I was perfectly fine. I had been bugging him since the day he told me about the fighting.

I wanted to fight real bad.

My body was aching to feel the pain again. To draw blood and to hear the winces.

My nerves were excited to set foot in the ring again.

But this time, it was different.

The ring was different, the reason for winning was different.I was doing this for his Empire. For my Empire.

I was so excited to fight.

He nodded.

"That's what I said before a moment right?" He asked sarcastically.

I smiled my nerves jumping up and down.

"In a week!" I repeated.

He nodded.

"We have a little time left." He said, "We need to practice more."

I nodded.

"Are you afraid?" He asked.

I shook my head no.

"What if we loose? You know we won't get to fight ever again." He reminded.

I thought of it for a moment.

I knew loosing would mean we won't get to fight ever again as per the rules of the Ring.

But I knew we wouldn't loose.

We would win at any damn cost.

"We won't loose. They are not strong enough to fight the Rey's fighters." I smirked and a sillier sir grew on his face.

"That's his girl!" He said lifting his hand to land a punch on my face and I quickly responded by holding it blocking out the punch.

"What?" I raised my eyebrows.

He didn't respond as he pounced on me I ducked down trying to get hold of my knife that lay on the ground.

He kicked it away and his fist landed in my stomach making me wince in pain.

I quickly stabilised myself.

My hand going around his neck I strangled him and he kicked my leg causing my to stumble. Pain shot though it. He held my hand lifting me up and throwing me down on the ground.

He purposely landed me slowly on the floor trying not to hurt me.

"Whenever you strangle someone, keep your eye on their legs." He said offering me his hand to get up.

I slapped it away standing up on my own taking the proper stance to fight.

It started and continued for next hours.

The room filled with winces and Ken shouting instruction at me.

He was always better than me. I knew that. He never went easy on me. He made me feel the pain. But he was always careful not to cause any serious injury.

He started the fight at least expected times always asking me to stay alert.

Sometimes, he didn't let me use the knife even though he had one.

"Not always you will have it." As he said.

These all the things were important.

I learned many things from him.

Everyday, after practice, my body pained like bitch and the dried blood covered my face and hands, few cuts adorning me.

But it was all worth it.

"Concentrate Ara. Keep your eyes on me." He said as he twisted my hand behind my back kicking my leg causing me to fall on the ground. Pain shot through my body and my instincts became alive.

I held his ankle pulling him down and his knife made a slight cut on my wrist. I held his hand pushing it up on his back. He tried to push the knife towards me but he couldn't.

He winced as I pushed it further up.

He fell down sighing and looked at me smirking.

"That was a smart move."

"Thanks." I said releasing his hand.

I offered him my hand to get up and he too slapped it away getting up on his own.

I smirked down at him.

"Get you knife." He ordered and I got the hold of my lovely.

This continued till I couldn't even stand on the floor without loosing my balance and my hands were filled with cuts and blood lines.

He stood beside me almost in the same condition as mine but not as bad.

We both breathed heavily trying to fill our lungs with the air.

"Sit down for few. We will continue again." He instructed giving me the water bottle and I gulped it down in one go.

I fell on the ground resting my back against the wall.

My whole body pained and my mind spun. I held the knife tight in my hands doubting he might attack again.

He had done this several times.

I was alert keeping an eye on his every move.

"Relax. I am not attacking you for next ten minutes." He said settling down beside me.

I brought my legs close to my body resting my hands on my knees, I ducked down my head.

I closed my eyes trying to catch breath and calm down the nerves.

I was covered in sweat and the pain was making me feel alive.

I still had gripped the knife in my hand cause let's face it, I didn't trust Kenneth with this training thing.

He could do anything to make me stay alert and alarmed every fucking time.

I heard his breath calm down in few minutes while mine was still raged.

"We are practicing the night." He said patting my back and I nodded without looking up at him.

I sat there in silence without looking up.

My life had taken a drastic turn. Everything was so unexpected.

But I was happy with how it was. It was great. I had found something I always wanted. A home.

Damion was my home. This Empire was my home. This Wing was my home. All of the people here were my family.

I looked at the stone floor beneath me. The cold stone was making me feel the pain more.

I hadn't seen Damion since yesterday evening when we got into the Wing. I guess he came after I fell asleep and left before I woke up.

He made sure to send me dinner at night.

He has been doing a lot of work. I was sure he was trying to find out who those people were.

The Empire was in danger and I knew he loved the Empire more than he loved me.

I knew Empire was his first priority and I would never ask him to sort it.

It was now my first priority as well.

"You ready?" I heard Ken ask from my side and I lifted my head from my knees. I looked up at him and nodded.

"Come on now." He said gesturing me to get up.

I spun the knife in my hands and got up walking to him.

I tied my hair tightly in a bun and stood in front of him. Ready for another three hours of practicing and fighting.
