DAMION'S POV.

I looked at him. My eyes never leaving his face. He kept looking at the wooden table in front of him.

Ken standing behind him. Douglas, Ken's presence and my stares were making him uncomfortable and damn I knew that well. Hell I was enjoying that.

I kept the anger buried deep inside me. He was not worth it. He wasn't my kill. He wasn't worth seeing the Demon inside me.

"Leo." I said calmly. His head lifted a little, but his eyes didn't meet mine. He didn't dare to look me in the eyes.

"Speak." Ken snapped. His voice would make you run for hills.

Leo flinched at his words. He was trying hard not to scream out of fear. And I hadn't even dragged him to the Dark Wing. We were just in my office.

"Rey, he.." He started but lost his words when I cocked my head to a side playing with the gun in my hand. Testing him.

He gulped before continuing.

"I didn't do anything.." He said in a whisper.

I smirked.

"Of course you didn't." I said my eyes not moving from him.

"Except for betraying me." I said in a cold voice totally not loosing my cool.

I needed his information. I needed to know what Erik had planned. And this was the only way.

"And except you got our man caught."Douglas completed my sentence.

Leo started shaking with fear. Sweat forming on his forehead as he tried hard to keep himself together. Now, that was the real challenge. To keep himself together.

For him and for us. Cause all we wanted to do was empty the whole magazine of my gun into his thick skull when we came to know he cheated. He double played us..

How stupid can this guy be?

He betrayed me and thought I wouldn't catch him?

I shook my head in disappointment.

Use some brain.

"I a-am s-so-orry Re-ey." He stuttered.

"Oh you will be." I promised him, "After I drag you to the Dark Wing and tell Argyl what you did, you sure as hell will be sorry when she will empty her gun in your head." I said smirking lightly.

He shook his head wildly, his eyes begging me to leave him. To show some mercy. But alas!

"Ara. Please. Don't don't tell her. Please don't." Tears streamed down his face as he begged in front of me.

I wasn't planning to. But he didn't need to know that. Argyl would be broken if she ever comes to know Leo betrayed us. If she ever comes to know that he planned to take her to Erik. He is the only friend she had had. And I didn't wish to take that away from her.

Even if she hates me for that. I wouldn't tell the his truth.

"Drag him to the Dark Wing. We will have a brief look at him tomorrow." I said looking at Ken and he nodded.

The colour from Leo's face drained when the words left my mouth.

He called Roger who, in a moment came in dragging Leo out of the damn room.

Douglas turned towards me.

"Ara she-"

"She doesn't need to know anything about Leo Douglas. I know. And I am not going to tell her." I said and he nodded a small smile on his face.

"You are marrying her today." Ken stated.

I looked at him. This wasn't a question. I knew he had something else to say as well. So I waited for him to continue.

"Don't you think this is too fast for her?" Douglas asked slowly.

I closed my eyes.

"I thought so too Douglas. I talked to her about this yesterday. She wants this." I replied them calmly.

"You are making her the queen." Douglas said.

I raised my eyebrows at him.

"I am not saying this is wrong Rey. It is just that, is she ready for all this? To tolerate all this her whole life?" He asked.

"I don't know. You tell me Douglas. Do you think Argyl can not handle all this?" I asked him as calmly as I could.

"I didn't mean that Rey, she-"

"I don't know what you meant Douglas. I know she is the one. She will be the Reina and I really don't care if anyone has a problem with her. One word and you are messing with me." I declared.

I was not going listen to my men doubting her.

"Rey, I have no doubt that she is perfect. I have no problem with her." Douglas added quickly, "It is just that we are loading her with too much responsibility." He said trying to make his point clear.

"I know what I am doing Douglas. I know what she is capable of. Stop doubting her. She wants this." I said remembering how she asked me to make her my queen.

He studied me for a moment.

"I am with him Dou." Ken said nodding, "She can do this all." He said.

Douglas nodded reluctantly. I knew he wasn't convinced but she was going to be my queen and that was sure as hell. I was going to marry her today in the evening and she will be the Reina of the Sanchez Empire.

She was my queen already. I was going to make her mine forever.

I was in my own thoughts when Roger barged through the door.

His face was pale. He had ran all the way here. I knew something was wrong.

"There are rebels in the Southern Wing." He said in a breath.

"Fuck." I cursed out loudly along with Ken and quickly got up. Getting the hold of my gun and blade, we strode out of the office.

The anger building inside me. The Southern Wing had the families of the people I killed in the Dark Wing. Sanchez Empire had cared for them. Given them whatever they needed in life. But this was their way to repay.

And they are going to regret this. Going against me was not exactly an intelligent option. What was with all the people I helped going against me?

"What exactly is going on?" I asked Steiner.

"There was a commotion outside the Wing. So we went to check on it." He said and I raised my eyebrows.

"You heard?" Ken asked surprised.

The Wing was quite away from the main one.

"Yes. They were that loud." He said nodding.

I took in a deep breath trying to keep myself calm. I knew this was planned by Erik. Smooth one Santos.

He had planned to unite people against me. But I didn't really think it involved the people in my own fucking Wing. That was a smart move.

Cause he knew, those people were not really a fan of me. I had killed someone close to them after all.

We walked towards the wing. I saw many of my men trying to hold the people back in. They were shouting. I saw weapons in their hands.

Someone who was helping them. Someone through whom Erik had got into the Wing. And it didn't take me long to realise that someone was Leo.

I clenched my fists tight as I saw all of them in front of me.

I knew Leo didn't do it himself. I knew Erik only used him to get his man into the Wing.

How can we be so fucking clueless? How can we haven't thought of this before?

Erik Santos, you have started it.
