Blue's POV

I kept walking, letting Sasha's words swirl around in my mind.

But the second she had said she would keep her safe, something had relaxed inside of me. Slightly.

I growled in annoyance as I finally sat down at a park bench, watching the kids get in their last minutes of playing before the sun finally set.

They were all running around in chaos like little ants as their parents paid them absolutely no attention, to busy talking to one another.

They didn't even look over to watch a strange man sitting on a bench and watching their kids.

Dumbasses.

I sighed, frustration running through my body as I sat on the bench.

I was missing something, something so important, and I now knew it was all because of Ira.

But I knew I couldn't properly kill her until I figured everything out.

Something had jump started my memory, my control of my own mind. But until I fully remembered what Ira had buried deep, deep within my mind, I knew I would be stuck like this confused brainless person that I am now.

I wanted to squeeze Ira's neck until her head popped off like a rocket, but if she was able to do this to me, then I needed to make sure I had my shit together.

I wanted to kill Ira, but it wasn't as deep seeded as I knew it needed to be.

Something was kicking me to make her pay, deeply, first. But I didn't know why, and until I did, she had the upper hand.

"Excuse me, sir" a little voice cut through my mind like a knife as my head snapped down to meet the eyes of a little girl looking up at me.

She had a huge hair of uncontrollable curls, and bright big blue eyes that blinked up at me.

It felt like someone kicked me in the back of the head, from the deja vu.

"What" I snapped down at her, narrowing my eyes at her suspiciously.

"It is you!" she squealed making me tense as she clambered up on the park bench next to me. Her wide eyes looking up at me in pure glee, as her flew in every which direction.

"Listen kid, don't you know you aren't suppose to talk to strangers" I hissed at her, while she blinked up at me with a pure look that reminded me of someone so bad that it almost hurt to stare at the little girl.

"You're no stranger! We are friends, remember? You promised!" she smiled brightly.

The trust in this generation of kids, is mind blowing.

I pinched the bridge of my nose, "listen, Rava, I-" I stopped dead.

She just beamed up at me, like I had handed her fifty dollars, no strings attached.

I on the other hand was having a mini heart attack.

I knew this child's name.

And the more I thought about it, I did promise to be her friend. That day, that felt like a life time ago. I had sat on this same bench, staring at the same kids and parents in disgust.

I saw her on the ground crying and because her ... hair had looked so familiar I kicked a little boy in the back and made his friends run away crying to help her.

Because she looked like ... she looked like ...

Fuck! Who did she look like?

"Are you done staring into space?" she giggled lightly, making my heart clench as it again reminded me of someone I knew.

Someone I loved.

I narrowed my eyes at her, "how did you know it was me?" I asked peering down at her little smiling face as she just gave a little non-committal shrug.

"You promised to visit me again" she smiled up at me, "I've been waiting! I guessed it was you, because you have the same frown from that day, and your eyes are still pretty" she chatted on, like she hadn't just put something together that the mass majority of the public couldn't.

I sighed, "great. I've been found out, by a child".

She giggled again, "you're still so funny" she smiled.

I looked down at her, my heart still clenching wildly, "has anyone been picking on you lately?" I sighed.

She shook her head wildly, her curls making a different set flash briefly in my mind. "Nope! I punch them in the face like you told me! But usually I just tell everyone, you're my best friend and they get scared and leave me alone" she smiled brightly.

I gave her a dead look, "your using my name in the streets to scare people?" I continue to look down at her, "smart".

She gave me another bright smile that made my head pulse in pain, a pair of deep brown eyes seeping into my mind.

"Did you bring your other friend? The one like me?" she asked innocently.

My head snapped down to hers, "what friend?" I demanded.

She just smiled, like I wasn't a world class villain, "the one you said had hair just like me. You said you like my hair remember?" she asked looking up at me with her large clear blue eyes.

And it broke.

Flashes of a bright smile, a smooth brown face, and the most beautiful brown eyes swirled around in my mind.

"Blue?" the little girl asked.

I clutched my chest in pain as the memories came barreling through me.

Her smile as she laughed at something, her small little body, the odd way she ran away, the way her mouth pouted when she was hungry or mad, usually hungry, her eyes alight with happiness or mischief, or the way her eyes slanted when she was yelling at me, the curve of her body when she pressed it against mine.

It was like a ghost was dancing around me in circles, and it was her.

"Tipsy, Blue, I am tipsy" she giggled.

"Like spy kids?" she asked, her face screwed up in confusion.

Her eyes wide as she gave me a panicked look, "What do you think this is? A James Bond Special?"

Fear in her eyes as she looked over at me, "save them first. Please" she begged before she fell off a plane.

She hung from her wrists, her eyes filled with shock and fear, "I HADN'T REALLY PLANNED THAT FAR, I JUST WANTED OUT OF THE ROOM! YOU INSENSITIVE LAMP!"

She sat crouched behind a bush, her hair everywhere, "let me just say in advance ... I apologize" she winced.

She glared over at me, "besides the fact that you're an asshole? Yes. I notice".

She was wrapped in my arms, "so you're my Blue, huh? If thats true then ... name what I did to try to kill you, the first time" she smirked.

"You're so funny! And smart and handsome. I see someone been doing their squats" she winked as she tried not to look guilty.

She pointed at me, "you are breaking up with me?" she laughed as she pointed back to herself.

"You blue piece of shit!"

"I will hit you in the throat".

"Why am I stupid?"

Her face was red as she screamed, "NOTHING! YOU CAN'T GIVE ME WHAT I WANT, AND I WON'T MAKE YOU. JUST-just let it go" she sighed.

"Bullets?"

"First off, I'm the true winner, you're more like my deranged sidekick" she smirked in delight.

"Blue" she cried as tears strolled down her cheeks, "where the fuck are you going?"

"Since you became my hero, I have loved the fucking shit out of you Blake Balder Dun, and I will always love you" she choked out.

Her hand lifted over her face in bed, "shut up. Donuts. I need donuts".

"I missed you" her hoarse voice whispered, as she clung to me.

The memories were spinning all around me, but it was her.

She meant everything to me, she was absolutely perfect in every way, as the memories came rushing back.

I just couldn't remember her name.

I could see her, hear her, but it was as if I had been removed from the conversation.

There but gone.

I looked down at the little girl as she stared at me in worry, "I'll let you meet my friend. You'll meet her one day, I promise" I said as I stood up, patting the girls head light, "I'll see you kid. Stay devious" I smirked before heading down the street, back to my home.

I had questions, that needed answers.
