Katrina's POV

I flew back with surprisingly amazing force, before my body slammed into Blue's office doors, finally sliding down onto my ass.

Oh my ass.

This was such a huge mistake, that I don't even think there is a word that properly describe how hugely stupid I was.

Did I honestly think that there was a chance that I could defeat Cirron?

No. Not really.

The man had white hair and 'evil as shit' stamped onto his forehead.

There was no way in hell, I could really compete with that! I'm like a power puff girl going up against Godzilla. No way. Just wasn't going to happen.

All this information seemed to hit me, right as my body went flying into the office wall, cracking all sense of any confidence I did have.

As well as my ass and my skull.

I slid to the floor, pain radiating over my entire body. I really was in so much trouble. And who knew how long it would take for the others to arrive?

For Blue to get here.

My eyes fluttered open, as my body begged me to lay on my back and fake dead.

Stunned.

Was it Cirron who had sent my ass flying all the way into last week?

No.

Or how about my psycho ex-friend, who was apparently giving out gifts like Oprah?

Nope not him either.

Actually, it was no one on the 'opposing team', because every last one of them had stumbled back onto their asses just as much as I had.

No.

The individual who had sent my spine into my chest was none other than my psychotic grandmother.

The woman who was suppose to be my special weapon.

The huge wild card that was going to make all these bitches quiver in fear.

But no.

She now stood, very openly, in the steel box that I had just fallen out of five minutes ago.

Five fucking minutes.

She looked like a warrior princess.

White power glowed from her eyes, illuminating from her skin and even her ringlets of curly hair. Her skin was tight, her whole body firm, she looked every bit of a 20 year old, powerful and unstoppable.

Usually, I'd be in awe that just her raw power was able to send everyone around us stumbling back onto their ass, but since I had been the closest to her little display of power, my ass had been tossed back like a fucking tequila shot.

"Nana! What the fuck-" I started, wheezing as I tried to detach my ass from the ground that just shattered it.

She stepped slowly from out of the box, nearly floating, as she barely even looks over at me.

Her eyes are completely and fully focused on one individual who is currently trying to stand his translucent ass up in a dress.

In shorter words, Cirron.

They move like magnets, the air is charged as they face off against one another, their eyes fully and truly only focused on the other.

It was like watching a nature feature.

And something sunk inside of me as I realized this was the end of the road for them.

You could feel in the air that this was going to be the last time these two forces of nature stood face to face against one another.

There would be no future battles, it was ending here.

But who was walking away was the real question, because for all my grandmother's faults she truly did love the broken man that stood in front of her.

Cirron looked wild eyed, his hair in complete disarray, and if the bitch could get paler, I'm sure he would.

He stood frozen in time as he watched Katya float a few feet away from him.

All malice was gone from his face, the only emotions that were there now was pure pain, sadness, and still desperate want.

But staring at the way Cirron was looking at Katya, I realized that he didn't love her.

He worshipped her.

He held her at a standard above everything else, and was completely blinded by the person she actually was.

He saw a goddess, pure power, something to obtain.

To have.

And as the memories of the way Blesk looked at her filtered through my mind, I realized why she had loved him so much.

Blesk saw her, when all everyone else saw was power.

Cirron didn't love Katya.

He was obsessed with her.

Thats why she denied him, thats why she felt sorry for him.

He was completely delusional.

"K-Katya" it was like a strangled whisper from his lips that hushed the whole room.

The other Firsts sat staring at Katya like they had seen a ghost, their faces pure shock and dismay, before pain flashed through their eyes.

Katya swept her eyes over them, before her hand flinched, making the shackles they wore disappear.

It was then that I could see the small trembles in her body. She was completely faking this act of unbelievable power, she was still wiped out from Pony.

She sagged slightly as she looked Cirron's face over again, "where did I go wrong with you? Where did we go wrong with any of you?" her voice rang out like a bell, as the whole world seemed to pause and watch her.

I could feel the tremble in her soul, as she watched what she and all her sister's had created.

Watched as they turned out to be these horrible creatures.

"We filled you each with love, guided you, felt your accomplishments and your failures as if they were our own, and yet you slaughtered us" she finished, a single tear slipping down her cheek.

One woman with bright green eyes, and long black hair stood up.

Anger flashed on her beautiful face, "no! You took advantage of us! We gave you everything and you left us! All you ever wanted was to control us and our powers! Don't give us that sad story, when all you and your evil sisters wanted to do was take what was ours!" she hissed.

Katya's body flared with power as anger rushed over her face, "Normina loved you! She would have died for you, and yet you came and slit her throat in the night like a coward. Thats all you ever were, cowards! So afraid of what you would do if we ever stopped loving you, you decided to kill every last one of us. You knew Cirron's story's were fake, fabricated, and lies. Every last one you knew that we would have died for you, and yet you slaughtered us like animals in the night. Dressed in those cloaks, you want to know why you were those cloaks? To hide! To hide what you knew was wrong!" she hissed the room buzzing with energy.

Well, this is about to take a left turn.

I slowly stood back up, ignoring the way the rooms spinning tried to send me back on my ass.

Suddenly warm hands were on my back, slowly helping me stand to my full height.

I looked up immediately being met with those two bright blue do-gooder eyes.

Daniel.

He was decked out in all his super hero glory, his mask firmly in place and his tight ass suit showcasing that he probably hadn't eaten bread in years.

"Oh thank fuck" I sighed leaning heavily against him, as he smiled down at me, before taking in the huge cluster fuck that was going down in front of us.

All the Firsts turned to Cirron, looking every bit unamused.

"Are you honestly surprised that the q-tip lied to all of you? He had your ass shackled! He's crazy, you dumbass, and to top it off, he tricked you into killing the only people in this world that probably will give a shit about your weird asses" I yelled over at them.

They blinked at me before slow realization processed across their faces.

"Not the brightest crayons in the box are they?" I whispered up at Daniel who gave me a warning look.

Opps. Wrong crowd.

They all turned back towards Cirron who was now full on panic sweating as he stood on trail before all of us.

"How did you think this was going to end?" Katya sighed looking over at Cirron like an angry mother.

"I was going to make everything right, the way it was suppose to be. You and me, I just needed more power" he muttered looking around wildly.

"Cirron you've betrayed all of us!" one of the Firsts screamed over at him.

Yeah, no shit.

Cirron sneered over at them, "you're all pathetic! You killed your Sources, you weak minded imbeciles, had you just followed me we wouldn't be here!" he snapped.

Cirron's hand shot out the next second, forcing us all to watch in pure horror and bright hot white flames flew from his hands, electricity swirling within, as it completely obliterated the majority of the Firsts.

The only smell in the air was charred skin and the screams were deafening as even Katya roared in horror.

Cirron turned towards her with a sick smile on his face as he watched another part of her die again, like he had all those years ago.

I stumbled back, clutching onto Daniel like my life depended on it.

"We have to get you out of here" he hissed down into my ear.

"No" I choked in shock, "we have to kill him" I hissed back, watching as the few remaining First clutched their burnt body parts to their chest and wailed as they looked down at their friends who were no more than ash.

Oh we were fucked.

"Where the others?" I cried, looking around as Cirron screamed something else out at Katya, but my ears were ringing at this point.

And then the world shattered into place as a huge roar shook the whole building.

Cirron was bellowing again.

And then he was lifting his hand, his own burnt hand, forcing the portals he had open to thrum with power.

He was about to suck us all in.

The whole building lurched and then the world seemed to pause as pure power crashed into existence.

Then Daniel's hands weren't on me, and I was back on the ground sliding along with everything else in the office building.

We were falling, the whole fucking building was falling.

Tilting sideways and dragging us all down.

The portals grew bigger before a huge ripping sound echoed through the air, and then suddenly time paused, as humidity seeped into the air and the sounds of a city vanished completely into the sounds of a forest.

I slid even faster now as time seemed to catch up with me, dragging me past my grandmother who was clutching onto a desk for dear life.

I was heading straight for the sky rise windows that were now jagged with broken glass, that seemed to have my name on them.

Oh god we're all going to die.

"BLUEEE!!!!"
