"Aditi and Aditya will go inside the club and keep watch of them while Karthik and I will be near the exit" Varsha said.

"Let me wait near the exit this time, Varsha, You can help Aditya" I said and all of them turned to me.

What! I just want to help my brother to have some time with varsha!

"What's wrong" I looked around. "I don't want us to continue the same routine everyday that we go to the clubhouse!" I said. "I just don't want to arise any suspicion" I added quickly.

"I think she has a point" Trisha supported me, Apparently figuring out my intention.

"I am worried about sending Varsha inside, Everyone know her face" Shahid said.

"All of us have disguised well" Varsha said.

"Varsha is with me, Nothing to worry" Aditya said and everyone nodded.

"If you want to spend time with me, You can just tell me, Puppy" Karthik said. "No need to do this" He smiled.

"What!?"

I was taken aback at the statement.

Then I realised what's wrong, Staying back at the exit means staying back with karthik.

Arg...

I looked around and see that everyone including varsha is smiling.

What the heck! Surely they didn't think that I am doing this to spend time with karthik!

I gave karthik a glare.

"Forget it then-"

"So that's settled" Shahid said. "I will help you to get connected to each other, I will be within a kilometre of the clubhouse building" He said. "All of you take care of yourself" He said.

"How do I look?" Trisha asked.

"You are beautiful Tishechi!" Izzy clapped her hands and all of us laughed at that.

Somehow, she couldn't bring herself to say Trisha and chechi together.

"Elegant and classy" Varsha folded her hands across her chest and walked around a nervous Trisha. "At the same time, It's accentuating your figure in a decent way" She said.

Trisha was wearing a white sleeveless top, pumpkin colored jeans and nude wedges.

"You look good, Trisha" I said. "Though I can't describe it the way Varsha does"

Aditya and karthik chuckled at that.

"You look gorgeous, Trisha, Don't worry" He said and karthik nodded.

"Arjun will definitely notice you" He said.

Shahid frowned.

"I actually don't like how fast he's moving" He said. "Don't let your guard down, Trisha, Remember what shweta told you" He said and Trisha nodded.

"Don't worry guys, I got this!"

When I walked inside the clubhouse, the guy at the door nodded and opened the door without asking me for my ID.

Not even checking People's ID? Just wait, Arjun surya narayan, When I am back to work at truth magazine, This club house is going to be my first target..

Even though it was too much rush inside, I easily made my way through the crowd.

I already know where Arjun will be, So I just walked there.

I took a step and stopped while I saw the girl named Natasha, I remember her from the last time, She is Arjun's friend.

Before I could say hi, She turned away rudely.

when I finally walked through the slanting slope, I felt eyes on me.

But when I looked around, There was nothing off.

I am just imagining things! I am more than a little worried after meeting shweta-

"You are here" I jumped at his voice and moved back while Arjun took my hand and walked back.

When we reached the round table, He poured me a drink and moved it towards me.

"Um..I-"

"I know, You don't drink on the working days, But this is a toast for us" he looked me in the eyes. "You are my girlfriend" He said.

"You look..angry today, Did something happen?" I asked him.

I guess he found about Izzy.

"I don't want to talk about work now, I want to enjoy time with you" He added.

"You really look like you are not yourself-"

"Shh.." he pressed his finger on his lips, then raised his glass at me.

"Sanjana, I am glad that you are my girlfriend, I promise you today that I will take care of you well and protect you" He said. "Because there's not a lot of people who is close to me, I want you to promise me that you will be safe too" He said.

It's rather cliché!

"Um..I promise" I said, Raising my glass and we touched our glasses.

He held my eyes for a moment and I returned the gaze.

He smiled and gulped his drink in one go while I took a sip.

"I will hold on to that promise" He told me. "I don't get close to people easily, But once I does, I won't let them out easily" He said.

Why does that sound like a reminder?

I nodded and gulped down my drink.

Soon, I was having another glass, then another glass, While Arjun looked totally unaffected by the drinks.

"Sanju, Come" He took my hand again and we walked to the railing in front of us.

He wrapped his arms around me and turned to the crowd.

The loud music was switched off, The dim light came on and a gentle tone started to play. people started to complain, Arjun cleared his throat.

"Ladies and gentlemen" He said and everyone turned to look at us.

"I, Arjun surya narayan is no more a single man" He announced.

What the hell! It's not like we are getting married! Why does he have to make it a big deal!

The crowd cheered loudly.

"This is sanjana, My girlfriend" He said and I smiled and nodded.

Again, My eyes found the only angry looking face that was glaring at us.

It looks like Natasha has a crush on my dear boyfriend here!

Ha! I can't let her snatch away him or our plans will be ruined.

"Thank you" I smiled brightly at the people who were cheering for us.

"So guys" Arjun was still speaking. "Enjoy your maximum, Today the tab is on me" He announced and another shouts of support erupted.

They started to congratulate and wish us luck, Then came another chanting.

"Kiss..kiss..kiss.."

I was not sure if I was hearing it right, But soon, It became strong and louder.

Arjun turned to me and I started to panic.

"Relax" He smiled and took a step forward, I would have moved back If it was not for the hand he had behind me.

He's your boyfriend, Trisha, You can't push him off in front of so many people!

I fisted my hands and closed my eyes tightly as he leaned towards me.

Yea, That's right, Bear with it! Let's just bear with it!

I was frozen in spot until his warm breath fanned across my forehead, Then I felt him pressing his lips on my forehead, So gently, like a feather touch that I was actually surprised.

I opened my eyes and looked deep into his shining eyes.

The crowd was already protesting below.

"Sorry guys, we need to be somewhere else" He shouted and took my hand.

"Come on"

"What?"

"Let's get out of here" He pulled me along with him and started to run outside.

I sensed danger and tried to stop him, But he just dragged me out of there until we took the back door and stopped near his car.

My gang...they can't follow me!

"We can't go out" I said.

Arjun turned to me and took a step forward.

"Why?" he asked. "Would you rather I kiss you senseless in front of all those people, Sanju?" He asked as he started to lean down to me. "Because I assure you, Sanjana, I would like to do exactly that, With or without any onlookers"

I leaned slightly back to the bonnet of the car and gulped slightly.

Anything to let him take that step back.

"Where..where are we going?"

"Somewhere nice" He said and I nodded.

Karthik is in the car outside, He will follow me...

"But my purse and phone-"

"You won't need it, I will tell the staffs to keep it safe for you" He said and opened the door for me.

I hesitated a moment.

Stay away from him, Trisha, It was his idea to bait you using priyanka...

Warning bells rang inside my head.

"Sanjana?" He was looking at me.

"Yea.." I nodded and walked to him slowly.

Aditya.

"She disappeared" Varsha whispered and I touched the ear piece.

"Karthik, Arjun and Trisha disappeared" I said.

"They didn't come out here" Aditi replied.

"Yea, We are still watching here" karthik said.

"Something is not right" Aditya said.

"Calm down" Shahid's voice reached us "If she hasn't come out, That means she's still inside" He said.

"Or..." Karthik hesitated for a moment "Shahid! See if there is any other exit out of here?" He said "Can you get the plan of this place?" He added.

"I will try, But it will take time to hack it" Shahid said.

"No problem, I will take a look around in the meantime" Karthik said.

"Then I will take watch here" Aditi said.

"Okay, We will split up and search inside too" Varsha said. "We need to find her if she's still inside" She added.

"No, stick close to me" I told her. "We will search for her together" I said.

"Aditya, look around, We need to find trisha soon" She said.

"I am safe" She said. "I have this ear piece connected to all of you, But trisha is alone with Arjun" She said firmly.

"Okay guys, 10 minutes" Karthik announced. "After that, We all should decide what to do" He added.

I stopped the car in front of the beach and She was out before I even opened the door for her.

"Wow! We are at the beach!" She exclaimed happily, looking far away to the water.

I know that She likes the beaches and islands.

It was written down in her college interview.

"Come on" I took her hand and her smile dropped a little.

How long are you going to hide yourself, Trisha?

We were at a less crowded area and she started to look around.

"I like the sea" She told me and I smiled.

"I am glad" I said.

We walked towards the water, Hand in hand.

"What are you thinking?" I asked her.

"I..I used to go to sea with my mom and dad" She said slowly. "I miss them"

"Isn't your dad and mom settled abroad?" I turned to her.

"Ah..um..yea, Now that I am alone here, I miss them" She said.

"You are not alone, You're with me" I intertwined our fingers and she looked at our hands, then looked up at me.

"When I learnt psychology...um..to help my dad in the company, I find it interesting to learn about reading emotions" she said.

"Can you read mine?"I looked at her sideways.

She shook her head.

"I can't" She admitted. "You are the first one I can't actually read, Sometimes I think I could, But then, I feel it's not" She said. "Why is it like that?"

"Um..maybe I learnt to control my emotions from childhood itself" I told her. "I had a tough time growing up, I even was nearly dead once, so I learnt to adapt to the situations pretty soon" I explained and she looked at me in wonder.

"Let's sit here" spread my blazer and we sat there side by side.

"I'm Sorry, You had a tough time" She said.

"But let me tell you something"I said. "If you want to know me, Don't try to read my emotions, Listen to my words, I am not one of those people who likes to speak rubbish, I say what I mean" I said and turned to her.

"Especially to you, Sanju, Because you are important to me"

She turned back to the water, Refusing to meet my eyes.

"Would you like a drink?" I asked her and she looked at me.

"Tada!" I said as two beer bottles magically appeared.

She laughed. "where did it come from?"

"I took it from the club" I said and opened the can for her.

"Thank you" She took it from me. "But Don't you have to drive?" She asked me.

"I can always call someone if I'm drunk" I shrugged.

"Umm..You really know me" She said as she took a sip.

"May be I was watching you too closely" I smiled and she laughed.

"I am flattered" She said.

I watched her as she speak about herself, I knew that she was talking about herself, But never once did she make a mistake about her identity.

When her bottle was finished, I offered her mine and she happily took it away from me.

I was actually feeling happy that she had unconsciously let her guard down and I could see the real "Trishana" now.

"But it's against the rules to simply sit and watch the sea like this!" She said suddenly and jumped up. "Come on, Let's go to the water" She said.

"But we are not in the beach dres-"

I stopped as she took my hand and dragged me up.

"Okay..okay, Let me remove my sho-hey!"

She laughed aloud as half of my feet was covered in the water.

I can't believe that she just dragged me straight to the water!

She was still giggling happily as I watched her flushed face.

She's drunk!

"Sanjana, Are you drunk?" I took a step towards her and stopped when she splashed the water at me.

"You can't beat me in a water fight!" She threatened before it started.

"Hey!" I was shocked to react first. she laughed as she started to spray it on me.

And I had to admit that she's really is good in that.

"You-okay..let me.." I didn't bother to remove my shoes anymore and started to spray it back.

She attacked me right back.

Uh...she look quite talented in this!

"Admit defeat!" She shouted.

"No!" I sprayed it back.

"You can't win me"

"Are you sure?"

"Yea, I am the number one water fighter-hey-" She squealed as I lifted her up.

"No..no...no..no hey!"

But I had already dropped her down to the water.

She gasped for air when I lifted her up.

"Admit defeat!" I said and she shook her head.

"Here we go!" I laughed as I started to lift her up again.

She screamed and put her hands around me.

I could feel her body pressed against mine and I stilled.

She was still tightening her hands around me.

"Sanju.." I said slowly. "would you like to stay with me today?"

Our eyes met and her eyes widened slightly, I felt the strong attraction sizzling between us.

She was still frozen inside my hands while I lifted up my right hand. I removed her wet hair out of her face and lightly brushed her lower lip with my thumb.

"Sanjana" I said "Stay with me" I whispered.

And just like that, She let go of me and fell into the water.

I chuckled and lifted her up.

She avoided eye contact and I saw the confusion flashing across her eyes just before she looked away.

You are as attracted to me as I am to you, Sanjana, Fight it all you want, But Let's see who wins this battle..

"Come on" I took her hand and walked to the shore.

I won't scare you away, Sanju..Nor will I backdown...

"Wait here, let me see if I can get a towel or you will catch a cold" I told her and she nodded, looking cold and dripping wet from head to toe.

So I walked to the local stalls that were on the side.

When I came back, I was surprised to see three guys surrounding her.

"How dare you, I will report you-"

"Sanjana!" I reached her and instantly knew what the problem was.

I took my blazer and covered her.

"They were picking a fight with me!" She said and I turned to them.

"What do you want?" I demanded.

"Looks like she already has someone, Then why does she has to go around looking like that?"

"Looking like what?" I asked back, Sternly.

"She was practically asking guys to look at her" Another guy said.

"Don't you worry about me!" She exclaimed indignantly. "I have a perfectly healthy guy to take care of me and my needs, I will never need someone else" She said acidly and I was actually surprised at her words.

The guys looked taken aback now.

She took my phone out of my blazer and clicked a picture of the three stupefied guys.

"I will upload it in the social media, So that my good brothers don't have to trouble like this to find girls who are asking for your help, It will help you a lot of trouble" She added.

I am so proud of my girl..

I wrapped my hands around her and turned the guys.

"Eve teasing is a civil offense" I said sternly. "As per section 509 of the IPC, whoever intending to insult the modesty of any woman shall be punished with imprisonment of one year with fine" I looked at them. "And if you are lucky enough, It will come under section 354A, A criminal offence and get punished for sexual harassment, So are you okay with that?"

"We are sorry sir, We didn't mean anything"

"Please forgive us ma'am"

"Guys like you need to be taught a lesson" She said firmly. "You are doing this because you are so sure that no one is going to report you" She said.

The three guys practically begged us a good 10 minutes before she finally let them go.

"But remember, I will keep this picture" She warned them well as the guys ran away.

I chuckled.

"What's it?" She turned to me.

"I am glad that my girl can take care of herself well" I said.

"The problem is when the girls want someone to take care of them" She said. "Being self sufficient and speaking up against things like this is what everyone should do"

"Okay..okay" I nodded. "come here" I dragged her to me and started to wipe her dry.

"I can do that fine" She said and I raised up the towel.

"I want to wipe your hair dry" I said. "you don't look like in a great condition"

She didn't argue and let me wipe her hair.

"I didn't know that you have so much faith in me" I smiled. "Perfectly healthy guy to take care of you...huh?..mm..I like it" I said and she looked away.

"I wanted to shut them up, Don't take it too seriously"

"But I already did" I said. "And I promise that I will live upto your expectation" I said and she pushed me back while I laughed.

It was getting dark when we walked back.

She wanted to have shaved ice, Then She wanted a hat from the local shops and then she demanded for the bamboo flute.

All in all, Drunk sanjana was free spirited and happy.

I drive her back to where her car was and she looked worried suddenly.

"We were gone for two and half hours?" she asked me.

"Yes, What about it?" I turned to her "I enjoyed the day"

She nodded.

"Come on" I walked her to her car.

"Thank you, Arjun" She unwrapped my blazer and gave it to me.

"My dress is already dry" She told me.

"Sanjana, Don't take it the wrong way" I said slowly and she looked up at me.

"You should not wear a pink inner under a light color top again" I said and her eyes widened slightly.

"Guys likes to imagine things, I don't want anyone to think about you in that way" I said. "You are mine" I added.

Her expression turned surprised again.

"I am a possessive boyfriend" I said and she looked down.

"I will leave then" She said quickly.

"No, You can't drive, You are drunk"

"I am ok now"

"But I will be worried if I leave you like this, I will ask one of my drivers to-"

"No, I will call one of my friends" She said firmly.

"Then come inside with me, You can come down when your friend is here"

"Arjun!"

"Sanju, You promised me that you will be safe" I reminded her and she sighed.

It was morning and I sat there on the settee, Covering my face in my arms.

There was a Beach hat and another Bamboo flute next to the table.

I am embarrassed at myself, I can't believe that I had a water fight with him! And worse- I have just ruined my image of a sophisticated and elegant lady in front of him.

"You okay, Trisha?" Aditya came out with his bed head.

I nodded, unable to look at him.

"Do you have head ache? It looks like you had a lot of drinks yesterday" Shahid asked me.

I shook my head "no" even if my head was killing me.

"Here" Aditi brought me a cup of water and pill. "Take it, It will help you" She said and I took it from her gratefully.

I waited for everyone to move away, But that never happened.

"Um..." I looked around "I am sorry, I messed up" I said. "I got drunk, Sorry" I repeated.

"Arjun actually announced to the whole club that you are his girlfriend" Karthik said. "That means he's serious about you"

"Yea" Aditya said. "And it looks like he's really in love with you" He said.

"Nothing went wrong yesterday" varsha said. "Except the fact that You gave all of us a scare!" She said.

"When you disappeared suddenly like that, We had to go through a lot of trouble, We couldn't watch over you"

"I couldn't follow you since it was too rush yesterday and there was a traffic jam right in front of the club house, By the time I got away, You were nowhere to be seen"

"You left your phone behind and all of us went crazy" Aditya said.

"I'm sorry" I mumbled. "This is the first time I am...I am doing something like this, I'm normally a responsible person, I couldn't take my phone yesterday and Arjun looked like he had a bad day"

"Of course he will have a bad day, Shweta rescued Izzy, She destroyed all of his plans"

"But it was a blessing in disguise for us" Aditi said. "He took care of a drunk you and he didn't take advantage of you" She said.

"He even dropped you back at your apartment" Shahid said. "He didn't allow you to drive, Saying that you are drunk, That means he's concerned about you" He added.

"So Arjun surya narayan finally fell for you" Karthik said. "Which means we need to proceed with our plan" He said.

I nodded.

"I understand" I said. "Shweta already said that the important datas are at Arjun's apartment" I said.

"Don't do anything risky" Aditya said. "All you have to do is to find out if there really is any secret vault or locker" He said. "Don't risk anything, If we confirm that there really is some files, Let's plan what we will do next"

I nodded.

"I can get inside there if I can get his schedule" Karthik said.

"I really wonder what you learnt in your organisation, It was kidnapping first, Now it's stealing" Aditi said.

"Don't forget that I met you at the file house first, you were stealing the files too" Karthik said.

"But I'm not working for a police organisation like you" She said.

"Daddy" we heard the squeal and turned around to see a sleepy Izzy coming to the hall.

"My baby is awake" Shahid walked to her and Picked her up.

"Why is uncle karthik fighting with Aditi?" She asked.

"That's Aditi chechi" Shahid said. "They are not fighting, They are playing"

"What are they playing daddy?" She asked wide eyed and everyone laughed.

Shahid was answering her while my phone started to ring.

"Oh my God!"

I said while everyone turned to me.

"It's him!"

"Pick it up"

I shook my head.

"No!" I said. "I made a fool of myself yesterday!" I said.

"You didn't mess up anything, Just attend the call and see what it is about"

"No!" I shook my head firmly.

They don't know what I have talked in front of him!

I have a healthy guy with whom I am happy with...

Oh God!

What the heck made me say it!?

"We need to proceed with our plan" Karthik said.

So I took a deep breath and attended.

"Hmm?..what's it so early in the morning, Arjun?" I demanded as soon as I attended the call.

My gang looked at each other at my tone.

"Be sweet" Varsha whispered, But I could hear smile in Arjun's voice when he talked.

"Good morning to you too, Sanjana" he said. "Have you recovered from the hangover?" He asked me and the gang around me laughed at me.

I got rather annoyed that all of them were teasing me.

"I have headache, I will call you later-"

"Wait" Arjun laughed. "When are we meeting again?" He asked me.

"Not any time soon" I said darkly.

He laughed at me and it filled me with warmth.

Now!..there's something wrong with me! How can I think about my enemy like that!

"Sanju, I had a good time yesterday" He said rather seriously, But I could still hear amusement in his voice. "Who knew you had such high expectations on me, I can't wait to prove-"

"Uh..Arjun!" I interrupted him in horror, I don't want my friends to know what rubbish I had talked yesterday "If there's nothing serious, I am hanging up"

"Are you free today?" He asked me.

"No!"

"What about-"

"I am not free tomorrow, or the day after, Or the day after that and-"

"Wait" He said "I know your apartment, I will personally come there to pick you up then" He warned me.

"You can't! My dad will kill me if he know that I'm dating! I am here to visit"

"Then pick up a date to meet me" He said. "I don't have a lot of patience"

"I thought you are too busy with works, How come you have a lot of time to visit me?"

"It's all about preferences, Sanju, I feel like you don't want to hang out with me" He said. "Why did you become my girlfriend if you don't like to-"

"I was joking, Arjun" I said quickly "I am embarrassed to meet you after what I did yesterday" I admitted.

"Why? I thought you looked cute" he said. "I am really looking forward to meet you" He said. "But I'm busy too, Instead of hanging out together, Can we have dinner on Thursday? He asked me. "That's the only time I am free this whole week"

"Alright" I said. "Let's meet on Thursday" I said.

When I disconnected, My gang was silent for a moment.

"What!?" I asked, Bothered about their look.

"Trishana, When you said you have the confidence to make him fall for you, I never though it will be to this extend" Karthik said.

"We can proceed with our plan without worry"

"It looks like Arjun narayan is head over heel in love with you" Varsha said.

"He was just teasing me" I said. "I don't think that he is that...serious"

"They are right Trisha" Shahid told me "You have succeeded in making Arjun narayan fall in love with you"

"I don't understand it normally" Aditi nodded. "But even I could see it from his words, He has definitely fallen for you, Congratulations"

But for some reason, I was really nervous about the whole love thing.

Why am I not feeling happy about this? Our plans are going the way we wanted it to be!

Arjun surya narayan is the only person I can't read. I don't know what's going through his head.

Sometimes I feel like he could read me well!

My phone beeped and I opened the message from ACP suresh kumar.

"Guys!" I exclaimed. "It's karthik’s dad! He said that the Director of Intelligence beuro is visiting next week!" I looked around. "Suresh sir will arrange a secret meeting with him" I said.

"Whoa! Even we STOs see the DIB rarely, Trisha, Let's make use of this opportunity well" Karthik said.

"The files we took from the file house cannot be decrypted without both parts" Shahid said "And that's with surya group"

"I know that we can't use it, I will hand him the details I have collected on surya group and see how he will use it"

If everything go according to the plan, I can stop pretending to be sanjana. I can stop meeting him.

I don't know why I am bothered about deceiving Arjun surya narayan when it was actually my idea to begin with!
