Nandini's POV

And finally my exams are over! These few days during my exams everyone has been very supportive to me. Navya would always ask me to study and bring me food when I was not attentive. Bhai would help me sometimes when I didn't understand anything. Alex was the most cutest one. He knew my exams were going and so he would not disturb me and sit with me in my room when I used to give the exam.

Lastly Manik! He has been giving me my space during these days and I'm grateful to him for that. Though he would tease me and irritate me sometimes but when I would be studying he would keep patience.

Ofcourse the supervisor! I don't know what problem she has with me that she keeps giving me suspicious looks during the exam!

Well I know it is weird to write exam at home but what is her problem? It would look like she would pounce on me any moment! Huh!

But now I'm all free! Yay! I can play with Alex! Spend my time with Bhai and Navya and the little one.

"Rose!" Manik called as I was sitting in my room doing nothing.

He was standing on the door looking at me when I was lost in my thoughts.

"Huh?"

"When are you going to shift back to my room?" He asked narrowing his eyes.

"Never!" I replied arrogantly looking away.

"Are you sure?" He asked coming towards me.

"Hm!"

"Really?"

"Yes!"

"Fine! Suit yourself!" Saying so he scooped me in his arms startling me.

"Ma-Manik what are you doing? Put me down!" I swayed my legs in the air telling him continuously to put me down.

But the monster didn't listen and carried me all the way to his room and dropped me on his bed. I struggled to get up but he didn't let me. Suddenly we stopped as we were really close and he stared at me intensely.





He leaned down and in reflex I closed my eyes as I trusted him. But instead he kissed my forehead making me smile in bliss.

"So from now you are staying here! With me!" He ordered.

"This is called forcing!" I narrowed my eyes.

"Whatever you call it!" He said carelessly as he stood up.

I too sat up on the bed and was going to say something when his phone rang. He picked it up and after having a few words his body tensed. After the conversation on the phone he got ready and then turned to me.

"Rose it's an urgent case! I'll have to leave!" He said in a hurry.

I don't know why but a fear gripped my heart when he said that. I didn't want him to go anywhere at this moment!

"Manik -!"

"Rose not now! I'm in a hurry! Cabir and Navya are at the hospital for Navya's checkup! You are alone but don't be scared! This time the guards won't be doing nothing!" He said and left the room.

I ran after him in the living room and held his hand.

"Manik please don't go! I don't feel good about all this!" I said in fear.

"Rose trust me I'll be back soon! Don't be scared!" He cupped my face and kissed my forehead before leaving me there feeling all restless.

And now I was all alone in the whole mansion. It wasn't like I was all alone for the first time but today there was this unsettling feeling which made me restless. On top of that Alex was also with Navya as she wanted to take him with her.

I took a deep breath and decided to watch TV to pass my time. I kept changing the channels not even looking at even one of them. It was evening now and still there was no sign of anyone. Neither Manik, nor Bhai and Navya.

I sighed and got up from the couch when suddenly noticed a shadow near the door. I gulped as i stood rooted on my spot.

"W-Who is that?" I dared to ask.

"B-Bhai? Na-Navya?" I called but no response.

I moved back in fear but I didn't notice the vase kept on the table which fell down making me jump in fear. I was going to run away when that person decided to show his face.

"Ar-Aryaman!" I stepped back looking at his smirking face.

"Hah! Finally I get to meet you baby! Finally!" He said and smirked at me.

"Ho-How did you c-come in? There were gu-guards -!" He cut me off and stepped ahead.

"Oh you are taking about the guards? They were what like just 10? It was easy to kill them Nandini! Don't you know your fiance is much more smart and stronger?" He asked masking an innocent face.

He was walking towards me when I suddenly picked up the broken glass of the vase holding it infront of me.

"Don't c-come near me!" I tried to steady my voice and scare him.

"Ohh! I'm scared! What will I do now?" He pretended and then looked at me with a filthy sly smirk.

"I know you can't do anything Rose!" He smirked and I scowled.

"Don't call me that you fucking bastard!" I growled at him and threw the glass piece on him which touched his skin cutting it making him hiss.

Seeing the blood on his face I felt proud of myself as I looked at him. He touched his scar and then looked at me furiously.

"Wrong move baby! You don't want your brother to die right?" He gritted and instantly all my energy drained as my face paled.

"Wh-Where is Rishabh?" I asked trying not to cry but when he didn't answer I lost my patience.

"Where is my brother?" I screamed while tears streamed down my face. He smirked at me and then showed me his phone which now showed a picture of Rishabh tied with ropes sitting unconscious.

I palmed my mouth to control my sobs but that didn't help as sobs left my mouth.

"So now come with me Nandini or else your brother will be dead!" Aryaman said seriously and I looked at him with disgust.

Wiping my tears harshly I glared at him menancingly.

"I don't believe you Aryaman Khurrana! What if this is just to trap me? I won't come with you!" I said even though I was scared on the inside but didn't show him.

"Then I have only one last option! And that is to take you by force!" He said and strode towards me.

I tried to run away but he was fast as he grabbed my hand and turned me around. He then threw me over his shoulder as I screamed but there was no one to listen. I slapped his back but that didn't create any difference. As he stepped out I noticed all the guards lying dead.

"Leave me!" I screamed.

"Manikk!" Was the last thing I said before a cloth was placed on my mouth making me dizzy as I fell unconscious.

Third person's POV

It was 10 at night when Manik entered the mansion and he saw the guards lying on the ground dead. His heartbeat rose as he ran inside as fast as he could.

"Nandini!" He screamed but got no answer.

He was going to shout when his eyes fell on the broken vase and blood that was present at a distance. It was then he noticed a piece of paper lying on the table. He picked it up in hurry and read it.

It didn't even take a second for him to know it was Aryaman.

"Aryaman!" He growled loudly and ran towards the basement.

"Get up!" He yelled as he kicked the chair making Tej Khurrana fall on the ground.

He then furiously marched towards him and held his face by his jaw tightly.

"Tell me! Tell me where is he?" He screamed on his face.

"Wh-Who?" He managed to choke out.

"Where is your fucking son! Tell me now where did he take my Nandini!" Manik roared on top of his voice.

He was going hysterics just thinking about Aryaman touching what was his.

When he got no answer he was going to punch him when Cabir entered the room.

"Manik what happened?" He asked.

"Cabir Nandini is missing! That bastard took her! I swear Aryaman is going to suffer!" He cursed loudly.

"What? Aryaman? But when? And where were the guards?" Cabir panicked.

"I don't fucking know Cabir! All I know now is this fucker will tell me where is son is!" He glared at Tej who was still lying on the ground.

"But how can he know when he was here!" Cabir reasoned out.

"I don't fucking care! That fucker is his son so he has to know where he would go!" Manik yelled as he made Tej sit and suddenly punched him and held his collars.

"Speak up! Where did he go?" He shouted jerking him by his collars.

"Manik! This isn't going to help! We have to go find her! We can't waste time! Let's go!" Cabir said making Manik grit his teeth but he was right.

Just when they were about to run out Tej said something which stopped them in their tracks.

"I know where he could go!" His voice was just a faint whisper but they both heard it.

Before Cabir could react Manik was already by him as he threw few more punches at him.

"Manik! He'll die! Let him speak!" Cabir held Manik but he was uncontrollable.

"I was fucking asking you from first! Why didn't you answer! You bastard!" He yelled as he tried to get out of Cabir's hold.

Tej looked at them with drowsy eyes and with blood dripping from his jaw.

"What will I get if I tell you!" He questioned and Manik lost his temper.

"Cabir leave me! I'll kill this fucker!" Manik roared but still Cabir didn't leave him.

"Manik we have to know where Nandini is!" Cabir shouted which forced Manik to calm down a bit.

"We will let you go if you tell us where your son could be!" Cabir said but Tej nodded his head.

"I will come with you both!" He announced and Manik looked ready to kill.

"Okay!" Cabir said and Manik looked at him to which he blinked his eyes in assurance.

"Aryaman wait till your death comes to you!"
