Nandini's POV

He pushed me back on the wall and pressed his lips on mine making me freeze on my place. My eyes were wide open as I stared at his.

He did nothing than just pressing his lips on mine which made me dizzy even when he hadn't started anything.

I clutched his shirt in my fists and closed my eyes feeling something different altogether and which I couldn't explain. Slowly I felt his lips withdrewing immediately making me miss the softness.

Opening my eyes I looked straight in his eyes which were now staring at me intensely. He hadn't moved away from me neither did I leave his shirt from my grip.

"So you want me to kiss you?" He whispered hoarsely never taking his eyes off me.

I shivered when his hands caressed my nape making me crazy.

"Rose!" He husked.

"Ma-Manik!" My lips quivered when I took his name and his eyes darkened zeroing on my lips.

I know he was controlling himself from a long time and my shivering lips were doing no good. The atmosphere around us was growing thick and intense.

"What do you want Rose!" He gritted pressing his whole body on mine.

"I-I ...Ma-Manik ...!"

"Fuck!" He growled before his mouth came crashing down on mine.

The kiss was anything but slow. It was more of a wild and passionate kiss which showed nothing but urgency. It was my first kiss and I will never regret it because it was with him.

He left me as we panted and gasped for some air before he cupped my face and placed his lips on mine again. This time it was slow but all the way more passionate as I felt my knees falling weak.

He sucked my lower lip before giving me a bite there making me gasp. Taking the opportunity he slid his tongue inside my mouth kissing me more ardently.

Noticing me getting out of breath he slowly withdrew away and we panted heavily.

"God Rose! I can never get enough of this!" He breathed out resting his forehead on mine and clutching my waist possessively.

"I think I'm addicted to your lips!" He said.

"Manik you just kissed me! How can you get addicted?" I blurted but then my eyes widened as I realised what I said when I saw him smirking.

I bit my lip and shut my eyes tight being embarassed.

"Don't bite your lips! If you want to get kissed again!" His voice dark with passion making me shudder.

"I-I am sleepy!" I said changing the topic and trying to push him away.

He didn't budge even a tiniest bit instead pinned my hands above my head with his one hand while the other hand clutched my waist.

Starting from my forehead he kissed there slowly moving down and kissing both my eyes followed by my cheeks and lastly when he came to my chin he bit me there making me moan. But he still didn't stop there as he continued giving me kisses all over my neck making my heartbeats and mind go frenzy. He kissed on my sweet spot making me moan loudly.

"Manik!"

"Rose stop moaning before I do something which you won't like!" He said breathing heavily just as me as his dark intense eyes stared at me.

I was still breathing heavily when he scooped me in his arms and dropped me on the bed. I panicked and tried to get up but he hovered over me pushing me back down.

"Rose relax! I won't do anything without your permission!" He said softly and my heart skipped a beat at the honesty in his voice.

He rolled to the side and pulled me close to him caging me in his arms making me feel safe.

"I didn't knew the Mafia would like cuddling!" I teased him.

He chuckled and made his hold tight around me.

"Well the Mafia himself didn't know that he would like cuddling!" He confessed and I smiled.

"But with you it's always start of something new! There are many first times with you!" He whispered as he looked down at me.

There was a different kind of emotion in his eyes which I couldn't quite point out but before I could think of anything else he kissed my forehead making me sigh in bliss.

I don't know whether I was sleepy or already dreaming but I heard him saying something before I slipped into darkness.

"What are you doing to me Rose!" Was the last thing I heard.

Next morning I woke up lazily stretching my hands. I looked beside me to see the bed empty.

Where did the monster go?

Getting up I looked here and there until I heard the noise of shower from the bathroom. Sighing I was going to move out of the bed when the bathroom door opened and the monster walked out.

"Manik!" I shrieked covering my eyes seeing him only in a towel.

I heard him chuckle which made me more angry.

"Always the shy one!" He commented.

"Seriously? What about you? Always the shameless one?" I retorted back.

He raised his one eyebrow at me before walking in my direction making my eyes go wide. I was still on the bed and till the time I could slip away he had already cornered me as his whole torso leaned over me making me lean back on the bed.

"So shameless huh?" He asked and I couldn't utter a single word.

"Rose! Do you want to know how much more shameless am I?" He asked as his hand was on his towel and before he could pull it off I covered my face with the pillow.



I heard him laugh as he moved away and I peeked out from behind the pillow to see him standing infront of the mirror with a lopsided smile.

Monster!

Scowling at him I got up and rushed to the bathroom avoiding any further encounter with him.

When I came out the room was empty indicating that the monster was gone. I moved out and went in the living room to see all present over there.

"Good morning all!" I said and they all turned at me.

"Good morning Nandini!" Navya chirped back.

Bhai smiled at me and Alex woofed running to me as I picked him up happily. And the monster was busy in his talks with Cabir.

Huh! Can't he just wish me back?

I looked around and then noticed Rishabh missing. Frowning I searched for him but he wasn't present anywhere.

Must be still sleeping!

I climbed upstairs and entered his room to see him all sprawled across his bed. His mouth was slight open making me chuckle. Alex woofed and jumped out of my arms running towards his bed. He kept barking standing beside his bed until Rishabh grew irritated.

I suppressed my laugh as I saw Rishabh getting up with irritation and glaring at Alex.

"Rishabh come on get up now!" I said and he groaned as Alex ran to me.

"Diii!" He whined and covered himself with the blanket again.

"Rishabh!" I warned and he got up whining while I chuckled.

As once again I came in the living room Bhai and Manik were discussing something serious and moving closer to them I realised they are talking about Rishabh's custody making me nervous.

I looked at Manik expectantly when he stared at me with his serious look making me more scared. He didn't say anything and just walked away from there. I came to Bhai and asked him eagerly.

"Bhai? Is everything okay? I mean Rishabh can stay here right?" I asked with hope and his grim expression told me otherwise.

"Nandini!" He sighed sadly.

"His parents are not ready to give his custody case so easily! They claim to charge a kidnapping case against us as he is staying with us right now without their permission! Although that is not what matters! What matters is Rishabh is still a minor and his consent won't really matter as of now! So for being with you either you need to be capable enough to take care of him or he can't stay here! Because he is nowhere related to Manik!" Bhai said and my face turned pale.

"Nooo! I won't go back there!" We turned and saw Rishabh standing with an angry face.

Before I could go to him he ran upstairs and closed the door behind him with a bang making me scared. Not waiting another minute I ran behind him as Bhai and Navya yelled his name behind.

"Rishabh! Rishabh please open the door!" I choked as I tapped the door.

"Rishabh please I promise I won't let you go! But please don't shut me out!" I cried and then I heard a click.

I rushed inside and saw him curled up in a corner. His body was shaking telling me he was crying. I walked towards him and sat beside him caressing his hair.

"Rishabh!" I called softly and the next moment he flung himself in my arms crying badly as I held him close to me with tears flowing from my eyes.

"Dii I d-don't want to g-go back to them! I-I hate them!" He hiccuped and I patted his back trying to calm him down.

"Sshh! Rishu calm down! And you can't say like that they are you parents Rishabh!" I tried to make him understand but he shook his head.

"They are not! I don't take them as my parents! All I know is I want to stay with you and you are my only parent!" He said and his innocent words shook me badly.

He loves me so much and what am I doing? Nothing! Nothing at all!

"Okay listen! You are not going anywhere! I won't let you and that's your Dii's promise!" I said as I wiped his tears and he looked at me.

"You trust your Dii right?" I asked and he nodded immediately.

"Then no crying now! You will always stay with me!" I smiled and he smiled back.

"Now go wash your face and come down! Okay?" He nodded and walked to the bathroom as I sat there on the floor thinking about the situation.

Why can't our lives be normal? Why?

No! I can't just sit like this!

I will find a job and be independent for Rishabh!

Then no one will be able to take him away from me!

Yes! I have to do this!

I got up with determination and walked out to go to our room. Stepping inside I saw Manik working on his laptop but I paid no heed as I uttered those words as his head jerked up and I saw his eyes turning furious.

"I am going to find a job!" My voice held finality and I know that made him more furious.
