Ahan! Finally back to college! Feels so good!

I smiled looking around as today I was happy. Reason? I don't know! But it felt good to be left alone and not hear those irritating comments about yourself.

The lectures also went pretty peaceful!

I was sitting alone in the cafeteria when my mind drifted to what happened yesterday.

"You all are the same! You all just want to use me for your benefit!" I cried hard dropping on my knees.

He stopped in his tracks as those words left my mouth.

I was a crying mess. I didn't look at him knowing he would be irritated by me.

Just then I felt his presence beside me. I still didn't look at him trying to wipe my tears which weren't stopping. I tried to get up but was stopped by him.

"Rose!" He called out but when I didn't look up he let out a frustrated sigh.

"Look at me, Rose!" His voice was demanding.

I still ignored him. Next thing I know he held my chin and forced me to look at him.

"What did you mean by using you for own benefit?" His eyes held something else that I couldn't point out.

But that one question brought all the memories back like a hurricane. I closed my eyes to forget that part of my life but was forced to open them when I felt his fingers caressing my cheek.

I stared in his eyes getting drowned in them.

"Tell me Rose!" He said, his voice surprisingly soft.

I broke the trance and pushed away his hand which was on my face. He seemed furious but kept quiet. Taking a deep breath I stood up and he did too. I decided to ignore him and tried to move past him.

Keyword : Tried.

But he held my hand and spun me around pushing me to the wall and pressing his body to mine. I was shocked.

"Don't push me to the edge!" He gritted.

His hold on my hand painfully tight but he cared less. I tried to struggle but he made his grip more tight making me hiss in pain.

"I want answers! Now!" He dominated.

Although he was manhandling me but the last sentence got me furious.

I somehow freed my hands from his grip and pushed him with all I had. He stumbled back and looked at me with his jaw clenched. Before he could come forward I screamed.

"What do you want to know huh?"

"That I was an orphan? Or that I was adopted by my parents but then they also decided to sell me for money! What else do you want to know!" I was yelling on top of my voice and he was just standing there staring at me with a blank face.

The tears I had managed to stop started flowing with full speed again.

I hate him for forcing me to say this!

I hate him for making me this vulnerable!

I hate him! I just hate him!

After all that he still had the audacity to ask me another question.

"What does Aryaman have to do with all this? Does he love you?" He asked blatantly.

I glared at him furiously but he kept looking at me with a blank face.

"He lusts me! He wants my body nothing else!" I gritted remembering Aryaman's dirty words.

I didn't notice Manik clenching his fists with a murderous look in his eyes when I was busy in my thoughts.

Suddenly a thought came in my mind.

"How do you know about my brother? I asked and again he stood there with a blank face.

"That's enough for today!" He announced before walking out and leaving me alone.

The nerve of that man! He fucking didn't have the courtesy to even comfort me. Like hell I want his comfort! I so wanted to scream and hit him with all I had but I controlled myself and walked to the bathroom shutting it with a bang.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when someone clicked a finger infront of me. I looked up and saw a guy standing before me, probably of my age.

"Hey, where are you lost?" He asked.

"Who are you?" I asked bluntly.

He looked taken aback but nonetheless answered.

"Okay pretty lady! I'm Ryan and I'm kinda new here!" He said and I looked confused.

"In the middle of the year?"

He shrugged in response.

"Well my Dad had a transfer so I had to move here!" He informed.

I said nothing and just nodded.

"May I know what is your name?" He asked and I looked at him.

"Nandini Murthy!" I said and he gave me a smile.

"Ohh Nandini! Nice name. So can we be friends?" He asked hopefully.

"No!" I answered and got up to leave ignoring the way his smile faded.

I hated doing this.

I left to the parking lot to see Manik waiting for me. So I sat in the car without even looking at him. I'm sure this would have irritated him.

As we were driving back home I kept silent and looked out of the window.

"Navya is coming today!" Suddenly he spoke.

Well Navya was going to come yesterday but due to some work she was coming today and I already knew that. I know he was just doing this to start a conversation.

I ignored him the whole way and he was just fuming in anger.

When we got there I just left quickly to avoid him. When I entered I was greeted by a sudden hug that startled me.

"Oh my god! You're Nandini! You're so beautiful!" Cried a girl.

I was standing there confused until I saw Cabir behind her shaking his head. And that's when I realised it was Navya. I hugged her back and smiled. When we parted I had a proper look at her. She was so beautiful. More than me.

"Come lets go!" She said and dragged me before I could say something.

We reached inside the room and she closed it. She was pretty excited.

"So tell me about yourself!" She said excitedly sitting on the bed infront of me.

And my smile faded.

"Uh there's nothing interesting about me! I was an orphan and later I was adopted!" I said feeling awkward to say anything.

"Rubbish! There's alot more interesting about you! And I asked to tell me something about 'you' and not your family background!" She said and I sat there stunned.

I just admitted that I'm an orphan and she has no problem?

"So start!" She said.

"Okay so I love -"

Ofcourse how could the Monster not interrupt us. Before I could speak about myself he barged in with Cabir running behind him.

"Come with me!" He gritted holding my hand roughly.

"Listen I don't want to! So leave me!" I gritted back.

"Buddy listen calm down .." Cabir tried but was cut off.

"Calm down? Cabir she is fucking ignoring me from the morning! I didn't say anything till now but now I have had enough!" He said loudly.

He was going to take me away when Navya interrupted.

"Manik leave her!" She said calmly.

"You stay out of this Navya!" He said rudely and started pulling me.

But Navya came in between us and freed my hand from his grip making him glare at her.

"Excuse me Mister! She is not going anywhere!" She said sternly.

Manik looked ready to blast but he took few deep breaths and controlled himself.

"Listen Navya! You're pregnant so I don't want to hurt you!" He said controlling himself not to blast on her.

"So if I wasn't pregnant then you would have hurt me?" She fired back.

"Navya -"

"Nandini lets go somewhere else!" Navya said glaring at Manik and took me out of there.

Once we left Manik glared at Cabir and he just raised his hands in defense.

"I didn't know her mood swings would start so early!" He said.

Manik angrily left from there and Cabir nodded his head in disbelief.

Cabir's POV

I followed Manik and saw him sitting in his office puffing smoke out of his cigarette.

"Manik!" I called but he ignored.

"Why are you doing this?" I questioned.

"What are you talking about?" He asked back without any emotions in his voice.

"You very well know what! Why are you behaving with Nandini like that? Atleast treat her good. She doesn't deserve this!" I tried to put some sense in his brains but how could he listen.

"Listen Cabir! What I do with Nandini is none of your business! So stay the fuck out of it" He countered back rudely.

I didn't feel bad as I was used to this!

"Stop before its too late buddy! Don't hurt her too much that you'll end up losing her! Because then no one will able to do anything!" I said sadly.

"Enough!" He barked throwing his cigarette.

"Stop giving me these lectures Cabir! All this bullshit before its too late ..I don't want to hear it! And Nandini is mine! I'll do whatever I want with her! Now get out!" He spat angrily.

I let out a defeated sigh before moving out.

As soon as I moved out I saw Navya outside the door looking at me with a worried expression.

"Nandini?" I asked.

"She slept!" I nodded moving towards our room.

"When will he understand Navya?" I was too tired.

"He will Cabir!" She said hugging me.

"But when? I don't want him to suffer anymore! He already had enough in his life. Why is he like this!" I said frustrated.

Navya caressed my hair and I felt some peace as I snuggled more in her warmth laying in her lap.

"We'll make him understand Cabir! Remember do your best?" She asked and I just nodded.

"So we'll do our work and be there for him where needed and when our roles end in his life he will have to understand it! Right?"

I sighed and kissed her belly.

"I'm so glad to have you in my life! I love you Navya!" I confessed while she ruffled my hair.

"I love you too Cabir! Sleep!" She said closing my eyes.

"No!" I sprang up.

She looked taken aback.

I picked her up in my arms and made her lie properly before laying down beside her and hiding my face in her hair.

"Its the other way round Navya!" I said and I could sense her confusion.

"Its time I will pamper you!" I whispered in her ear and felt her smile.

"Good night Cabir!"

"Good night!" I said and kissed her forehead before snuggling back.
