Unknown POV.
The name Versana Vice has been whispered around for the past two weeks since Fane Monrovian had made the announcement of handing the title over.
No one knows who Versana Vice is, all we heard were rumors. Since Versana had been crowned the title, he has been working fast and taking out the families who threatened his place in the top five.
There are two families that remained threatening the Monrovian Mafia and those families are my fathers and my Uncle Lucian. If Versana knew what was good for him, he wouldn't dare come anywhere near our families.
Of course we all guessed this Versana Vice is connected to The Versana Cartel leader, but no one has made any confirmation.
"Are you ready sweetheart?" My father asked through my bedroom door. "One moment." I yelled back, slipping my heels on and adjusting my tight and form fitting gown.
Tonight everyone of importance is attending The Pit since word was out that Versana is going to be attending, and being the nosey bastards that everyone in this business is, were all going for the one reason.
"Be sexy and push your cleavage up a little more, you know those Mafia men love what they can see." My mother winked and adjusted my dress.
My father is Dom Pernsay, he leads the Pernsay crime family here in America. He has been trying to marry me off to create alliances with another power house family, just like every other man and his daughter in this business.
The Pit had an upgrade, the warehouse now had two floors with mahogany wood detailing and red velvet covered floors. The top floor is reserved for the five families and the bottom filled with everyone who is below them.
There wasn't a dress code but people dressed like they were attending an awards show. Men wore neat pressed suits and Italian made shoes with their women dressed in gowns, swimming in the finest jewelry you could imagine.
"Versana Cartel just arrived without Vice, I wonder what's happening there." My father frowned. "They never attend anything without him."
I ignored my father and his partners so I could continue my scout for a man to be worthy of my time as fathers men stood around me, always alert of their surroundings.
"Look who showed." My Uncle jotted his chin out to the couple who entered.
People ran in the opposite direction of Soreign, shocked expressions coated everyone's faces at the fact that he had made an appearance.
Why are you here Rei? You never attend fights outside of your own fight club. My eyes raked up and down his tall and mysterious frame.
Soreign held himself higher than everyone, entering the room with a woman equally at his side. He is the only person I've seen in this business walk around without security, the man was a dangerous genius and he knew that. Confidence and self insurance is what made him that more sexier.
As much as I wanted to stare at the mysterious and undeniably sexy man that scared the living shit out of everyone in this room, my eyes fell on the woman next to him.
She was the kind of girl that women like me loved to hate. She didn't look like a woman with the flawless youth she had, but she held herself with the confidence of someone a decade older. Black silky straight hair and honey colored eyes, that looked like liquid gold, were calm and emotionless. Something radiated from within her that rendered her irresistible to both genders, Men desired her and Women courted her friendship.
Her black stilettos clacked against the flooring, her right thigh pushed through the slit of her black silk coat dress showcasing her perfect skin and legs.
My jealousy spiked at an all time high, the thoughts of having her killed by my father played on repeat in my head. Who is this girl?
Her and Soreign walked the room as it remained silent and as if none of us were here with them, the whole room watched them closely and didn't notice the guys who followed in after the pair.
"I want her dead." I told my father and my father did something I frowned at.
He laughed in my face and so did my Uncle. "She's untouchable." My father continued to snicker at me. "That is Rei's little sister, you step anywhere near her and you're dead before you even plot to have her dead, keep dreaming sweetheart."
"Make a deal with Soreign, I want to marry him." I folded my arms over my chest and my father continued to ignore me.
"Pull your head out of your ass." My cousin Killian butted in. "You've embarrassed yourself once tonight, don't do it again."
"We're about to take fifth place in the top five, he might consider our family as an ally." I said matter of factly.
"Soreign wouldn't give two fucks if we were in second place, he doesn't do this alliance bullshit. Like I said before, pull your head out of your ass Amber." Killian rolled his green eyes at me.
"You're not very supportive." I screwed my face at him.
"You have bras for support."

The fights in the ring weren't entertaining as they were made to be. People were starting to get bored and were waiting hopeful for either Versana to show or Soreign to get into the ring.
"Next up, Versana VS. Sean." The MC yelled into the microphone.
Everyone, including myself stood abruptly at the mention of the name Versana. Eagerly waiting for Versana, I already knew who Sean was, he was one of my father's number one fighters. Sean won every fight he's had here so I was confident that he would win.
Sean made his way out of the changing rooms in only a pair of loose drawstring shorts, showing off his wash board abs and buff arms.
The whole warehouse stood in silence as we waited for Versana to show, no one made a sound until familiar heels clacking against the mahogany staircase from the top floor were heard.
The sound of her heels seemed so ear deafening, no matter what little sound they actually made. People laughed at each other for being stupid for thinking she had anything to do with Versana until she jumped through the ropes and stood opposite Sean, staring him head on in a challenging manner and the warehouse fell silent once again.
My father and Uncle stared up-to the second floor nervously as they whispered back and forth between themselves.
"Versana and Sean everybody." The MC said into the microphone, normally he yelled his announcements, but there was no one to yell over, he simply said it and got out of the ring.
"You're Versana?" Sean laughed.
Even if this was all a joke, he made the wrong decision to torment her as Soreign sat above, watching with his signature stoic expression. If she didn't kill him then I'm sure Rei would.
"Sean!" My father yelled through the quiet warehouse but Sean is too stuck in his state of laughter that he couldn't hear my father.
Versana made no move to entertain Sean in answering like we all wanted her to and he made another wrong move by closing his eyes as he laughed harder.
With a click of a finger, Sean was suddenly hunched over choking for air after she punched his throat, the sound of the blow she landed ringed throughout the silent room as my father and Uncle continued to call for Sean's attention.
Versana stood calmly watching Sean as he continued his struggle to breathe. As soon as Sean caught his breath, he charged at her and swung his big fists to her head only resulting in her dodging his every attempt flawlessly with a bored expression.
"How is she moving like that in heels?" Killian asked as he stared at Versana with lust filled eyes.
Gasps filled the room as Sean pulled a gun from his shorts, staring back at my father with urgent eyes. Everyone stared between Soreign and his little sister, they both continued with a face of utter nonchalance, not giving away anything.
What the fuck is wrong with them? I stared in disbelief.
My father nodded hesitantly for Sean to pull the trigger, even then Soreign and Versana never reacted. And for me personally, that scared me more.
Before Sean could pull the trigger, Versana grabbed the gun from his clasp, twisting it in his direction and dismantled the gun, watching it fall to pieces at her feet.
Sean ran for the ropes to get out of the ring but he wasn't fast enough as she grabbed him by the nape of his neck and spun him around, the loud and deafening crack of his ribs filled the room from the kick she had thrown that soon followed with a scream of pain from Sean.
"Don't you know the rules of the ring?" She walked a slow and haunting circle around Sean.
"God she's fucking sexy." My cousin blurted out, catching the attention of the men around us who looked to agree.
My father and Uncle rose their guns to Versana but not before she had Sean in front of her body for protection. It was like she already knew this is how tonight was going to play out.
Soreign made no move to intervene and watched as they shot at his sister. Blood poured from Sean's buff frame but as soon as my father and Uncle ran out of bullets, Seans body dropped lifeless and she had knives coming our way faster then we could react.
"Monrovian is back in fifth place, no one is to sell in this country unless you want to be dead like those two." She announced and was helped out of the ring by her older brother.
A scream pierced through the room, only I never realized it was my own at the sight of my father and Uncle, no one made a move to help me as I struggled to pull the knife from my father's head, no one.
Just like she and he arrived, they left the warehouse in utter silence.
