Amora Wednesday morning
"Good morning, beautiful," I said softly before kissing the side of Blythes face. "Good morning, love."
"Someone's happy." Blythe grinned moving closer to me. "Yes, I am." I can't stop smiling at her. "Let's see if you're this happy at work," Blythe said before getting out of bed.
"I officially hate that place." I rolled my eyes following behind her. "Then quit, find a new job."
"Why don't we both quit and find new jobs?" I looked up at her moving my arms around her waist. "I don't know about all that."
"I still have to take my drivers test, buy a car, a phone, maybe a wallet, and sign up for a few credit cards," Blythe said before putting her toothbrush in her mouth.
"I could teach you how to drive."
Last time I let Blythe drive my car she ran over a mailbox, and I swore to myself I'd never let her drive my car again.
"Stop being gay." Blythe laughed as I moved my hands inside her boxers. "The holidays are approaching," I said softly.
"Yeah, my first thanksgiving outside the asylum." Blythe sighed. "How do you feel?"
"It's another day, it's just you and your family. Nothing special."
"Well, we can always call you-know-who and have her come over," I suggested, moving my hands. "I'll think about it." Blythe let out as I smiled.
"You don't have to build up a wall, it's okay to let people in."
"I know, but years apart and she wants to be in my life. That seems pretty off." Blythe said as I nodded my head
"I understand that but at least think about getting to know her. You don't have to be best friends, just give her a chance." I placed my hands on her face while she let out a deep sigh.
"Fine."
I smiled kissing her lips. "Thank you, baby."
"Yeah, whatever." Blythe laughed kissing my cheek as I let her go. "I'm gonna make your lunch." I smiled waving bye.
I want Blythes' first thanksgiving to mean something to her. Even if her sister doesn't come Blythe will still have me.
"Have you seen my jacket?" Blythe asked coming down the stairs. "It's on the couch."
I smiled waiting for Blythe at the door with her lunch. "For you, my love," I said softly. "Thank you, I'll see you tonight." Blythe kissed me before smiling.
"Alright." I let out leaning against the door. I have a half-hour before I go to work, I still don't know how I'm gonna spend it.
—
"That's cute, you have a family of your own," I said walking besides Marie. We're talking about our thanksgiving plans and she's spending it with her husband and kids.
"Yeah, I'm with Blythe and my family, nothing too serious." I smiled pressing the third-floor button on the elevator. "Aren't you excited? You and Blythe spending the holidays together." Marie grinned at me as I nodded my head.
"Of course I am, but I don't want to make a big deal of something that she's not worried about."
Like Blythe said earlier thanksgiving out the asylum is just 'another day.' I think we've been doing good with each other. I think we just needed to touch each other in order to get rid of all the tension between us.
"Don't put too much thought into it, I'm sure Blythe is happy to be around."
"I'm sure she is too." I sighed leaning against the elevator wall. "It's almost break time, hang in there." Marie chuckled while getting off the elevator.
"God no." I rolled my eyes pressing the close button as Jackie looked at me. "Thanks for holding that open for me." Jackie grinned standing beside me.
"Go fuck yourself," I mumbled scooting away. "No need to be nasty."
"Whatever." I scoffed pressing the 3rd-floor button yet again. "You gotta be kidding me." I groaned as the elevator rumbled then stopped.
"Great... you broke it." Jackie chuckled leaning against the wall.
"I'm gonna break your fucking nose if you don't shut the fuck up." I cussed pressing the emergency button.
"You talk to Blythe like that?" Jackie asked looking me up and down.
"I sure do."
"Can't believe she puts up with you."
"Yeah, she fucks me too." I smiled pushing my hair back. "Gross." Jackie gagged as I shrugged.
"Looks like you're stuck here with me," Jackie said lowly placing both hands on my waist.
"Lovely."
— 2 hours later Wednesday afternoon
"My nose is still bleeding," Jackie mumbled holding her nose. "Next time don't fucking touch me." I shrugged crossing my arms.
We're still stuck in the elevator and I just want to go home to my baby. My shift is damn near over and I'm still stuck in this thing.
"Why does your cousin think you and Blythe are getting married?" I asked referring to her cousin John.
"Don't be slow honey, I told him that."
"You're a married woman! A grown woman at that! Blythe is 19 and you're like... 30 or something." I said looking her up and down.
"As much as you think you know Blythe, I'm telling you right now that you don't know anything about that girl."
"I've worked here longer than you, I know more about Blythe than anyone in this building," Jackie stated as I rolled my eyes.
"Stop obsessing over a 19-year-old, you look weird." I scoffed crossing my arms.
Lord just get me out of here.
Blythe Wednesday night
"Pretty tired," I said covering my mouth as I yawned. It's almost 12 and I'm ready to go home.
I ate my lunch and I'm still hungry, I'm gonna ask Amora to start cooking for me because these sandwiches ain't cutting it.
"I'm outta here." I yawned looking at the clock as it struck 12. "Alrighty, see you tomorrow." John smiled waving goodbye.
"Spending dinner with your sister? You're not gonna last a second."
"I'm gonna be fine," I said under my breath letting the cold air hit me. I'm guessing Amora is already at home waiting for me.
"You don't like her parents either."
I sighed waiting for me Uber outside the pharmacy. "I'm perfectly fine," I told myself, it's been a couple of weeks since my last breakdown.
"They know the real you."
I yawned yet again before getting in the backseat of the car. The drivers I get usually are quiet which I don't mind because I'm just trying to get home.
—
"Stuck in an elevator with Jackie, at least you're here and not in jail." I chuckled clenching onto my towel.
"I broke her nose but she should be fine," Amora said crawling into bed. "My mom asked if you're comfortable with having thanksgiving here or her house."
"Doesn't matter to me, her house is fine I guess." I cleared my throat before getting in bed with her.
"I'm off tomorrow morning if you want to do something," Amora asked as I smiled. "Now how did you know I was off tomorrow," I smirked looking at her.
"Mmm, lucky guess?" She giggled before kissing me. "Whatever you wanna call it."
"You smell good and not like the padded room." I joked kissing the side of her neck. "And you don't smell like the pharmacy."
"Mhm, take these off," I mumbled pulling at her boxers. "When did you have time to get waxed?" I cheesed letting moving closer to her.
"Stop talking." Amora groaned before kissing me roughly.
She treats me so good.
— Thursday morning
"We're the same size, dummy just try them on," Amora ordered pushing me into a fitting room stall.
"They feel weird." I huffed putting on a pair of jeans. I'm not used to jeans I'm usually in scrubs, I've spent my entire life in scrubs.
"I'm coming in."
"No!"
"I'm in." Amora laughed locking the stall. "You look good, daddy." I scoffed rolling my eyes. "Do I really?" I asked looking in the mirror.
"Really good."
I blushed trying on the rest of my clothes. "Next week we should get your ID picture taken."
"No, I hate pictures," I said leaving the stall. "We'll talk about all that another time, okay?" Amora placed her hands on my face as I nodded. "Fine."
"Come on, it's almost 12."
We want to the mall once we woke up and been here ever since. I work crazy schedules so believe it or not I actually have enough money to buy whatever.
I can get my ID pretty soon, I have enough money to buy a good car, my life is in pretty good shape.
I bought a camera along with some other stuff. I bought the camera because I plan on asking Amora to 'get dirty' with me on camera.
Thanksgiving is tomorrow so I don't know when I'll ask, maybe tonight or tomorrow.
"Let me drive," I begged following behind Amora. "Anything to make my baby happy." I smiled as she kissed me dropping her keys into my hand.
My life has never been this easy, I'm getting used to being happy. Amora makes me happy along with everything else. It's safe to say that she's changing me in ways I didn't think were possible.
