Amora Thanksgiving night

"Stop! my moms downstairs." I whispered slapping Blythes hand. "Then don't make to much noise." Blythe chuckled holding me from behind.

"Y'all being nasty? I bet y'all being nasty." I jumped as my sister pushed open my bedroom door.

"Get out!" I yelled pushing her out, only for her to come back in and sit on my bed.

"So... why are you with my ugly ass sister?"

"Alina, shut up!" I huffed flicking her ear. "Well, your sister is pretty... cool?" Blythe raised an eyebrow then looking at me.

"Could've said I'm sexy," I mumbled. "Did Amora tell you the story about how she went to jail?"

"Oh my god! You promised to never speak of that! Get out, Jesus Christ!" I yelled grabbing Alina by her ponytail dragging her out my room.

"Ms. Perfect went to jail? I'd love to hear about this."

"It was stupid! I was in a holding cell for four days because my parents were out of town, it was really jail." I said crossing my arms.

"If it's stupid then tell me." Blythe chuckled standing up in front of me.

"I tried to steal a dog," I mumbled looking down at the floor. "What?"

"I tried to steal a dog!" I yelled. "My parents wouldn't buy me one so I went to the pet store and but the dog in my backpack, it started barking and they caught me."

"You went to 'jail' for trying to steal a dog?" Blythe asked smiling at me as I nodded my head. "You are officially the softest criminal I've ever met." Blythe laughed wrapping her arms around.

"Yeah, whatever," I said softly before kissing her cheek. "Come on, I think my moms done." I grabbed Blythes hand bringing her downstairs.

"Awe, you guys look so cute, come, we have to take a picture." My mom said pinching Blythes cheeks. "Ma." I sighed as she pouted. "There's enough of me to go around."

I groaned as she kissed my face then hugged me tightly. "Hi, daddy." I cheesed waving to my dad. "Hi, honey."

"I don't think she's coming," Blythe whispered while fiddling with her fingers. "She's coming, she's probably running late."

I took her hands in mine, then kissed her knuckles. "Well, what if she doesn't, what if Blair doesn't like me?"

"She's coming, I promise."

As much as Blythe says she doesn't want to get close to her sister, it's obvious she does. Blythe is just scared of letting people in or getting to close to her.

"Come eat." I smiled sitting Blythe down at the table. "I can get my food by myself," Blythe said sitting up. "No, just sit and relax, okay?"

"Hey, relax." I cooed holding Blythe tightly. "I'm going to bed," Blythe mumbled prying my hands off her.

I smiled as the doorknob rattled. "Look!" I shouted turning her towards the door. "Looks like I'm late to the show." Blair grinned standing at the door.

"I don't break my promises," I whispered kissing Blythes cheek. "Well... you're late."

"Have fun." I laughed leaving the two of them alone.

"Amora, who's this?" My mom asked taking a picture off the wall. "That's Blythes' mother."I answered laying my head on her shoulder.

"Honey, come look at this." My mom said calling my dad over then showed him the picture. "Wow, no wonder she looks so familiar." My dad mumbled as I lifted up my head.

"You guys know her or something?" I chuckled nervously as they both shook their heads. "Honey, I don't think Blythe is the one for you." My mom whispered while reaching down for my hands.

"You're not— you're not safe with her." She said looking at me teary-eyed.

"Ma, last time you said she was the one and now she's not, what's going on?" I asked looking back at Blythe then at my parents.

"We have to talk in private." My dad grabbed my hand bringing me upstairs along with my mom.

"When you were younger, your cousin Mia was killed."

"What? You guys told me she went to the army." I'm in shock right now, Mia was like my sister, we did everything together. If you saw her then you saw me and vice versa.

"We couldn't tell you the truth because you were too young and we didn't want to drop such weight on you."

"Ma... she's really gone?" I asked wiping my eyes before my tears could fall.

"I'm sorry, baby." My mom held me, kissing my head softly. "A few days after Mia died, we found out who killed her."

I'm still trying to process that my best friend has been dead this entire time and I'm now finding out.

"Sweetheart, I know you're not gonna believe this but we would never lie to you, okay?"

"Blythe killed your cousin."

Excuse me?

"We didn't expect you to find out about her or Mia, but now that you're living with Blythe there was no way to avoid it."

"Yeah," I said lowly running my fingers through my hair.

Yeah... that's the only word I can come up with right now.

Blythe

"Hey, where'd you go? You disappeared on me." I said grabbing Amoras' hand. "I went to lay down for a little." She said slowly pulling her hand away.

"Are you good? What's wrong?" I asked sitting down on the couch.

"Nothing, I'm just really tired, okay?"

"No, seriously, if something's wrong then tell me." I chuckled leaning back . "I'm fine, I promise." She said while sitting next to me.

"No... she seems off, she's knows something."

"You wouldn't hurt me, right?" Amora asked looking at me as I nodded my head. "Why would I do that?"

"And you promised to open up to me and tell me about your past."

"She knows something! Something she's not supposed to know! Figure it out?"

"Stop being weird, you're asking me all these questions about absolutely nothing." I grew irritated with her.

Not knowing what Amora knows can be scary, especially if she knows something about me. I don't want to shut her out because we just got back on good terms.

"Don't get mad." Amora sighed laying her head on my shoulder.

"What the hell does she think she's doing?"

"I just found out my cousin died when I thought she went to the army," Amora said softly as I rubbed her arm.

"It's okay, it's not your fault. Sometimes those things just happen."

"I can't believe it, we were so close and she's been gone for years but I'm now finding out," Amora whispered. "This is her, her name Mia."

"What a pretty name."

"Holy fuck," I said under my breath looking at the picture of Mia.

"She knows."

"Are you fucking serious!?" I yelled slamming Amora into the couch.

"Don't kill her, not now."

"That's not your place, you weren't supposed to find that out," I growled choking her with both hands.

"I-I'm so-sorry." Amora wheezed while scratching at my hands. "And you thought you could get me to admit it, huh?!" I threw her onto the ground swinging my fist at her face.

"Too far."

"So you can go and submit me back huh? Or have them throw me in jail, that's what you want, right?!"

I stood up grabbing the back of her shirt dragging her up the stairs. I tossed Amora in the bedroom then locked the door.

"Wait! Stop, please stop!" She coughed slowly crawling to a corner.

"Why are you raging!? She's not mad! Stop hurting her! Stop raging!"

I cried repeatedly kicking her. "I can't stop!" I sobbed watching Amora cover herself. Her face was bruised, both her eyes were black, her nose is bleeding. I just can't stop.

"You're going to kill her!"

I kept swinging, doing everything I possibly could do to hurt her. I can't stop myself even though I want to, I don't want to see Amora like this.

She was covered in her own blood, still in her corner. "Blythe, stop." She whispered I could barely hear her. "I'm sorry." I cried getting on the floor with her.

"This isn't gonna work, you need to get out of this."

"It's okay to cry." Amora took my hand holding it up to her heart. "You'll be okay."

I don't know what to do with myself anymore. I have no self-control.

— Middle of the night

"You're so beautiful," I mumbled looking at Amora. I cleaned her up and brought her to bed, I iced her face so a lot of the swelling went away.

"You deserve so much more than what I can give you." I smiled weakly. "I don't want to hurt you anymore."

Her eyes are much better since they're not as busted as before. She should be good within two days, her face is fine but she's probably still in pain.

"You are the nicest person I've ever met but we just can't be together," I said wiping my tear quickly. "I'm sorry for what I did to your cousin, and I know you'll never be able to forgive me.

"She'll be better off without you I promise."

"I love you, beautiful." I grinned before kissing her head.

I hope Amora finds someone better than me and doesn't get physical with her. I want the best for her but I know I can't give her the things she deserves.

"Goodbye, love."
