Blythe Sunday April 5th

"I still don't understand why you're screaming at me." I said plainly looking at Amora. "You're not getting it!"

"How can I get it when you're screaming about absolutely nothing?" I questioned her while getting up from the couch.

I felt a tight grip on my wrist while she pulled me back. "No! I don't like that, you know I don't." I pulled my wrist away and stared at her.

"What don't I get?"

"You treat me like I'm some little ass girl and I'm not. Sometimes I just want to have a normal conversation and just talk but you never want to. You start moving so funny and I don't like that." Amora crossed her arms and I sighed.

"You wanna talk? Come on, let's talk."

"Even though we are together I feel like we're not involved with each other as much as we should be." Amora said looking at me.

"From now on we're gonna talk, starting right now." I said while she smiled.

"So the asylum wants to do a check up with you." Amora mumbled before looking at me. "That's what this is about." I sighed about to get up. "No, that's not true." Amora sat me back down then moved into my lap.

"They just wanna know if you're doing okay. Since it's been a couple months since you left."

I closed my eyes before taking a deep breath. "They want me to go back there? For some foolish check up." I questioned slowly balling up my fist.

"Yeah, but it's nothing serious. Just tell them you're doing good." Amora pushed her hair behind her ear.

"And you can't tell them that I'm doing fine? What exactly is your purpose?" I bit my lip trying not to say anything rude.

"You bother me everyday about getting more involved in each other's lives, but can't tell the asylum that I'm fine?"

"They want you, not me." Amora touched my face as I flinched turning away.

"Don't be mad." She whispered into my ear. "But it's so stupid." I said softly.

"I'll be with you, it'll go by fast."

I smiled feeling her soft lips against my face. I grinned as Amora planted soft kisses on my cheek, I relaxed then placed my hands on her hips.

"I'll do it."

"Thank you, beautiful." Amora cheesed before kissing my nose. "And for your information I do want to get more involved in your life."

I chuckled before looking at her. "All I do is work and then come home to you."

"Let's go out then, we can do anything you want." I shrugged laying against the couch. "What do you have in mind?"

You know what I have in mind

I smirked while wrapping her hair around my fist. "It's pretty late. There's not much we could do around this time." Amora said while prying at my grip.

"Not tonight, you have to earn it." She said getting up from my lap. "Ehh, you want to play a game or something? Clean up?" I suggested then crossed my legs.

"Let's go for a walk!"

I don't like walks though, very pointless.

"Sure." I said plainly before getting up from my seat.

We put our shoes on and closed the door behind us. I held her hand in between us and swung our locked hands back and forth.

"Do you have a bucket list?" Amora asked still looking at the path. "I never thought I would be this far in my life. I never made one." The only thing I ever wanted to do was to just be free, do what I want. "Well! Now you're free! We can do whatever you want, whatever you desire." Amora cheesed before grabbing both my hands and spinning us around.

She's always so happy... so upbeat every single day.

I smiled showing off my teeth. "Be happy. Enjoy everything while you can."

I felt her lips on mine as she pulled me closer to her. "How do you do it? Wake up everyday and smile." I questioned as we continued our walk. "Because everyday, I get to be with you.

Wow. I'm blushing

"I think I deserve a little something for making you smile." Amora winked. "I think so too."

My favorite part of the night

Amora Monday afternoon

I just got off work lately I've been thinking about quitting and looking for another job. I've outgrown the asylum but I'm really gonna miss the other patients. I always bring them snacks or give them extra tv time. I got caught taking them outside, now I'm on thin ice.

I sighed putting my key in the door. "Hey! I thought I asked you to take out the trash." I said cleaning up the counters and tying the trash bag. "Babe!" I called out while walking up the stairs. "Blythe?"

I looked in the bathroom only to find nothing. Blythe is usually home by the time I get off work. "Baby?" I opened the room door and everything was still how I left it. I sat on the bed and dialed her number.

I let out a sigh of relief when she answered on the second ring. "Hey, where are you?" I asked pushing my hair behind my ear. "I'm at work right now." Blythe said in a hurry. "You're staying late? You usually tell me."

"Yeah, sorry baby. Look I can't talk right now... I'll see you later."

"Bye, I l-."

I had a shocked facial expression as she hung up on me. "I love you." I mumbled before getting undressed and out of my work clothes. As much as I want to quit at the asylum, they're still harassing me about the check up with Blythe and of course I'm avoiding them. Blythe agreed to do the check up but she's been picking up a lot of shifts at work, but hopefully tomorrow we can get to it.

I sighed getting ready for my shower. Blythe and I were supposed to grocery shopping but I guess I'll go by myself. She never told me what she wanted for dinner but I'll just cook up whatever.

My parents wanna come over this week just to see how things are over here. I've been trying to keep everything in place just in case they decide to randomly pop up.

Monday night

I waited patiently at the island before eating my dinner. I haven't heard from Blythe all day, she should've been here by now. I slouched in my seat before dialing Blythes' phone number, it was on the third ring before she could answer.

"Hello?" Blythe whispered into the phone. "Hey, where are you? I'm eating all alone." I chuckled trying to mask my saddened voice. "I'm sorry baby... I should be home soon." She spoke a little louder but still staying in the range of a whisper. "Is everything okay." I asked putting down my fork. "Everything's fine... I gotta go, I'll see you soon."

"Oh, okay. I love y-."

I let out an aggravated sigh before texting her "I love you." I didn't bother to finish my food, I cleaned up the island and put both plates in the fridge. The house was clean and the bed was made all I needed was Blythe by my side to complete the night. I rolled over onto her side of the bed and smelled her pillow. "So minty." I chuckled before bringing her pillow closer to me.

I called her one last time just to let her know I'm going to bed. It didn't even ring, it went straight to voicemail. "Goodnight, beautiful." I mumbled before closing my eyes.
