Jadwa

A knock woke me up in the morning so I hurried and opened the door, the bed was so soft I didn't want to leave it but who am i?

"Rise and shine sleepy head its 2pm" Mus'ain said walking past me and before I process what was happening he went and fell on my bed

"Is the word privacy not in his dictionary?" I mentally asked myself before I slightly closed the door and faced him before saying "good afternoon ?" Which came out more like a question,

"How did you sleep angel?" He asked sitting down straight

"Alhamdulillah" I replied him covering myself well with the abaya I wore to sleep,

Instantly he grabbed both my hands and started talking again,

"I heard about your amazing cooking skills Miss Jadwa" he started and i raised my eyebrows "seriously?"

"When am I going to testify?" He asked and I kept looking at him before i said "later later"

"Sure sure" he asked and i nodded

"Well let me leave you for now see you downstairs" he said making sure to hug me before leaving

"Nop no privacy in his dictionary"

I closed the door immediately he left and i went and took my bath and came out,

I had no fancy clothes to wear so i wore my regular maid uniform since thats who i am now,

I prayed and went downstairs to hear what i have to do,

Mus'ain dragged me into the kitchen,

"Sultan said y'all came with foodstuffs so you're making an amazing meal Jadwa please" he pleaded opening the fancy cupboard where all the foodstuffs i got were arranged

"Its been forever since i ate my homeland food" he confessed with puppy dog eyes and i nodded and looked at him before asking "what would you like to eat?"

"Can you perhaps make swallow please" He asked joining his palms together meaning he was begging so i said okay

"You can leave now I'll make it" i said as i headed to the fridge to get the ingredients for the soup since i got egusi before coming, among the leaves in the fridge i saw something like spinach but a bigger version so I decided to use it for the soup,

I finished cutting and blending the soup ingredients but the kitchen was too fancy so I didn't even know how to turn on the gas cooker so i had to go and ask him,

"Please can you come and help me turn on the gas" I asked, he was seated on the sofa in the parlor watching this channel about animals holding a bowl of popcorn,

"Gladly" he said getting up and gently placing the bowl on the couch before followed behind me,

He showed me how to turn it on and decided to stay and see how i cook everything but I liked his company because the cupboards were too high for my short stature so he was helping me pick somethings that were too high for me to pick myself,

I finished the soup and decided to make pounded yam since i got the samvita yam flour,

I arranged them gently on the table with bottles of sodas i found in the fridge,

I didn't see or hear sultan's voice since when i came down but I didn't want to ask Mus'ain where he was and as if he was reading my mind he said "Sultan came back tired so you should take his food to his room"

I nodded and served his own taking it gently up the stairs to his own room, I knocked slowly and entered gently greeting him before placing it on the table in front of the bed and I hurried and left,

Mus'ain was already eating when i went down

"Oh my God Ya Allah Jadwa this is too amazing" he shouted immediately he saw me

"I'm glad you like it sir Mus'ain" i joked and he chuckled

I finished eating mine and decided to do the dishes before he quickly stopped me "come on Precious this is not the 15th century" I couldn't quit understand what he meant my that then he opened a machine in the kitchen and started placing the spoons and played

"This is the work of the dishwasher sweetheart"

"Now lets go explore London" he quickly said dragging me out before i even know what was happening

We got to this big shopping mall and we stopped my a froyo stand to get some frozen yoghurt

"Thank you" i said when he handed me the coconut flavored yoghurt I requested for,

"Omg this is nice" i mentally said as i shoved a spoonful of yoghurt in my mouth,

"Wait here" he said making me sit on a waiting area before he entered a shop and came out minutes later with a bag

"Shall we?" He asked and i nodded so he quickly dragged me and we strolled around the mall passing by different shops,

"Don't you wanna get a makeover?" He asked when we pass by a makeup shop but i said "no some other time"

"Promise?" He pleaded and i nodded before me left,

I didn't even know it was late until we went outside and i saw that it was already dark "wow" i said when i saw that

"How time flies right?" He asked and i nodded, he opened his car and immediately opened the door for me to enter and i just smiled and entered,

Mus'ain is a gentleman and thats the fact because Ive noticed it for just the one day i spent here,

We got home and immediately he came down and opened the door for me again "thank you" i said and he frowned because he said I should stop thanking him for things that are necessary,

"Damn" he said when he saw a fancy car parked in front of the suit

"What's wrong?" I asked but he just said nothing and we went in

"Mus'ain i cant believe Abby came all the way to London but you couldn't even inform me and the worst is that you even went to pick him from the airport" a gorgeous slay queen snapped at Mus'ain,

She was hugging sultan when we entered but immediately she saw Mus'ain she started scolding him in her fluent English accent, she was wearing a gown that cupped every part of her body perfectly, her handbag was on one hand with her veil on the other so her long brown hair was dropped down to her shoulders, she was wearing a very dark red lipstick but without heavy make up, she wasn't light but wasn't dark in complexion either but her skin looked soo kept because of the way she was glowing,

She dropped her bag and veil on table that was when I noticed her fixed long nails, she looked at me up and down then back to Sultan and then to Mus'ain,

"Come on Ayush, he just came yesterday i was gonna call you later" Mus'ain tried explaining himself to her but she raised her hand dramatically and stopped him

"Keep your explanation to yourself Mus, you cant keep my baby away from me" she said placing a gentle peck on sultan's cheek,

"And where did you find this from?" She asked Mus'ain pointing to my direction,

"C'mon Ayush shes a human being with a name and not a thing" Mus'ain defended me

She just rolled her eyes and dragged sultan as they went to sit on the couch,

I hurried upstairs to pray then i came down to do what brought me here, I wonder why i was angry

I served them the jollof rice i made and as usual sultan ate quietly and Mus'ain kept praising me that the food was too good,

"Baby I'm going for tamarahs baby shower I'll see you tomorrow aiitp?" she said to sultan pecking his forehead before she eyed Mus'ain and pushed me aside when she was leaving,

"How did she know where i was?" Sultan asked Mus'ain but i just packed the dishes and left them,

I was laying in my room watching the animal channel i saw Mus'ain watching the other time when i heard a knock on the door so i wore my hijjab an opened,

"Don't tell me you're already sleeping?" Mus'ain asked walking so sit on the bed

"Aa" I replied closing the door behind me

He then patted the space next to him for me to sit so i did,

"I'm so sorry about Ayush please, thats just her nature" he pleaded but i just said its okay I understand

"Here" be said handing me the shopping bag he came with

"I noticed you didn't come with any pajama so i got you some" be explained

"Thank you so much" i said with a wide grin and he got up "good night gift" he said , I'm so sleepy today" so i got up and escorted him so i can lock my door,

"Bye" he said then he gave me a quick hug and left.

I checked the nice sleeping wears he got me they were 5 in different colors so I decided to wear the one with hello kitty pattern,

Another knock came again so i went to open it thinking it was Mus'ain that came back but i just met an angry looking sultan standing there,

"where the hell did you go to without my permission?"
