Jadwa

I got all the clothes i need for Musain's wedding and Sultan asked a driver to take me out to shop for shoes and bags and other things i will need with his credit card so i carried Amal to go with me,

We went and i got me some amazing bags and shoes to match with the clothes for the wedding event,

I told mama about following him to london and she agreed because she wanted me to be among those to escort them too since Safina said we're friends,

So as i was packing for the wedding i was also packing for the trip because from abuja were just leaving without coming back to zaria,

Amal cant follow us because she started has already started school and she's really behind so she have a lot of catching up to do,

I finished packing and kept the 3 full suitcases aside

"Who will ever think i Jadwa will have this much clothes in life" I mentally asked myself and just smiled and went to make Amals hair

Immediately after dinner i went to my room and didn't even have time to talk to Sultan on phone or chat with him because i was so tired and I don't even know why because i did no hectic work today

The next morning we took off and i was somehow sad because this time I wasn't in Sultan's car i was with Mama,

Before we even left the palace gate i saw his message pop on my screen so we chatted all the way from Zaria to Abuja thank God Mama was asleep most of the journey,

When we arrived, Sultan insisted that the room downstairs is not for me anymore so i had to stay in a room close to his and Mama was in a room on the other wing of the house,

After taking my bath, i prayed and went down for dinner,

"Ango" i heard Sultan calling and i turned immediately and saw Musain

"Musmus" i shouted and regretted it immediately because of the look Sultan gave me which i kind of ignored and turned to Musain

"Jadwa!! Omg its been long" he said coming to my side

"I missed you so much munchkin" he said and sultan eyed him and hurried to our side

"Whatever dinner is getting cold" he said dragging me along and i heard Musain chuckled and followed behind

I ate quietly looking at them having some conversations about the wedding

"Ha before I forget" he said as he dipped his hand in his pocket and removed a little pink card,

"Safina said I should personally invite the amazing Jadwa to her bridal shower" he said smiling

"Awwwnnn I'm honored" i said picking the card to see

The shower is tomorrow in the evening and dress code is anything pink or purple and i am covered,

After Mus'ain left, Sultan came and collected the shower pass from me and read it then he gave it back,

"I'll drop you off there kinji we also have a little bachelor gathering around that time but immediately you are done or feel like leaving I'm one call away okay?" He said and i nodded then he gave me a quick peck on the cheek and left

I decided to sleep because i was so tired,

I didn't wake up early the next morning but the sleep was nice

"Ina kwana Mama" I greeted when i saw her sitting in the dining room already having lunch

"An tashi lafiya" she replied and I answered as she asked me to sit there close to her to eat,

After lunch we talked for a while before she decided to go back to her room and rest

I sat in the parlor watching the discovery channel and didn't even know it was almost time till i saw Sultan's text asking me if I've started dressing so I rushed to my room immediately,

Since I'm not a fan of heavy makeup i just did my regular powder and a little pink lipstick,

I tied my hair in a bun and decided to go with the not so fitted pink gown and a silver low wedge heel,

I tied the scarf around leaving the tail of my hair to dangle, i picked the small silver purse Mama gave me and headed out but before i even went down my eyes met Sultan and he gave me a good look up and down then I smiled awkwardly but before i said anything he started shaking his head saying "noo noo um um nahh"

"You're not going out with that dress baby"

I then looked at the dress and looked at him again waiting for an explanation, i know that the dress fitted me perfectly like a second skin but its a bridal shower and it was one of the two choices that I had and besides no guy will be there,

"Sweetheart its kind of too revealing don't you think?" He asked

I knew he was right so we went back to my room and he checked also and saw that my next option is better than this,

It was a purple ball gown with silver decorations so I didn't have to change everything i just sprayed perfume then I went down to meet him,that was when I noticed how dashing he looks,

We was wearing a blue trouser and a white long sleeved shirt with his silver rolex wrist watch and a bolvaint black shoe,

"You done?" He asked and that was when I knew the starring was too obvious,

I smiled and nodded, he insisted that we should take a selfie before leaving so we did,

The Rolls Royce was already outside waiting so as the gentleman he is he opened the door for me before getting in and then the driver drove off,

The shower was at the pool side in their house so i entered slowly since I don't know any one,

"Jadwa?" I heard someone called and I turned immediately trying to remember where I've seen that face before

"Hamida?" I asked and she nodded hugging me immediately,

We met during Ayush sister's wedding and bonded immediately,

"Kwana 100 Jadwa sai biki biki" she said and I smiled

"Wlhy amma yanzu i have a phone so at least we will be in touch" I replied smiling then she nodded

"Wow kinyi kyau wlhy" she said looking at me from head to toe which was kinda uncomfortable

"Haha you too" i said awkwardly looking at her

She wore a nice purple fitted gown too but her make up is heavy or rather heavy for my eyes alone,

"Lets go koh" she said and I followed behind her

I didn't even need to ask to know who the bride is because she looked stunning omg, she wore an amazing white ball gown with pink butterflies all over it, she let her long hair down and wore a pink crown,she is very fair looking as if a little sun burn will make her melt, she was in a simple yet pleasant make up and her eyes were so bright,

"Oh God she is beautiful" i said silently looking away

I didn't know how to approach her so i got a seat and sat there looking at everything that was happening,

I was totally lost watching the friends dancing then someone tapped me and i turned immediately and guess who was there,

"Safina" i mentaller shouted

"Jadwa" she called and i smiled getting up to greet her

Before I even said anything she hugged me immediately

"Oh God you look more beautiful in person" she said and I smiled and said "you look so beautiful"

We then sat there and talked before the MC requested her presence,

"Ugh not today" i said when i saw Ayush approaching me immediately

I looked away and luckily she didn't say a word to me,

We played lots of games, the shower was really amazing, everyone is friendly well except Ayush obviously,

It was 9 already but i was having fun anyways, at 9:30 dot i saw Sultan's text asking me if i was still not ready to go,

Since i was feeling sleepy i just told him yes he can come pick me,

I went to Safina's place to tell her i was leaving already

"So soon?" She asked and i smiled "I'm not really a night person I feel sleepy already" i said and she smiled

"Hope you're coming for Zaman Kunshi tomorrow morning koh?" She asked

I didn't even know about it but i nodded and said "yes yes in shaa Allah"

"Let me get your number then communion will be easier" she said handing me her phone then i typed my number,

"Here" she said giving me what i guess is a gift

"Wasn't I supposed to get her 1?" I mentally asked myself but i just ignored and collected the small box saying thank you

She then hugged me saying "see you tomorrow Jad"

"See you too Safina" i said waving

Hamida escorted me outside where Sultan was already waiting,

"Sannu Yaya" Hamida said and he nodded without saying a word or even smiling and she turned and left immediately "see you tomorrow Jadwa"

"How was it?" He asked in the car

"Not bad and she is so Amazing and kind" I explained smiling

"Yeah" he said

"I missed you"

"Huh?" I asked because its been barely 4 hours

"I missed you too" i said and he smiled widely showing that dimple i love

"What do we have here?" He asked pointing at the box

"Oh its a gift box from the shower" i said opening it for us to see what was inside

It was a nice smelling face scrub and khumra,

We got home and the dinner we missed was already on the dining waiting so we sat and ate even though i was filled with snacks i took a little and we talked a little before calling it a night

The next morning my phone ringtone woke me up, I checked the time and it was 9:30,

"Who could it be?" I said before picking

"Jadwa its Safina you're still sleeping koh?" She asked

"Noo" i lied

"Cmon i know from the voice, sorry for waking you up" she apologized in her nice American accent

"It's okay" I answered

"I haven't seen you thats why i called it's starting already" she said

"Sultan is still sleeping I don't know who will bring me" I answered

"Queen Mother just called my mum she's coming so you can come together or should i send my driver to pick you up?" She asked

"Noo its okay we'll come together" I replied

"Okay then and don't forget to carry the anko for kamu its later in the evening"

"Okay see you then"

I decided to wear my gown which had pockets since its Kunshi day I don't think i need to carry any bag along,

We got to the house and it was already busy and as if she knew she called

"Come to third floor, the 2nd room on your left" she explained and i nodded and told Mama i was going

I met her there doing henna

"Jadwa" she said showing me the bedside to sit

I like how shes so free with me as if we've been friends for long,

"Amina will soon attend to you koh" she asked and i nodded

"Here" a woman said giving me a robe to wear

"You'll do the dilka before henna is that okay?" She asked as if its my wedding too

I just said "yes" and entered the toilet and wore the robe I turned to leave that was when I noticed my name on the back "wow" I silently said, I've got a new friend without even trying

After the dilkah and henna, we started getting ready for Kamu,

I finished dressing and tied my scarf

"Jadwa" she called chuckling

"At least let her do a little make up for you the remaining bridesmaids are all getting make up" she said and i sat down as the lady did a light make up for me since i told her i wanted light make up, she tied my head tie well and we were all set,

Safina wore a red lace cape gown with a black head piece and black glittering shoe, her make up was lit,

So we headed out and cars were already waiting there,

After the entrance and all i went and sat with sultan

"You look beautiful cupcake" he said for like the 100th time today

I smiled and we continued talking,

Hamida came and dragged me to dance a little,

The kamu was Amazing and lasted till 8pm,

I then told Safina I'll see her tomorrow,

Are you dressing from home? She asked and i nodded

"C'mon Jad, come so we get our makeup's done together kinji, besides you have a robe so you're stuck with me" she joked and i looked at sultan

"Abeey" she called looking at him then he said "Safeey" rolling his eyes

Then she pouted and looked at him and then Musain

"Okay, a driver will bring her" he said and i smiled happily

"What time is she supposed to be there?" He asked and she said 1

So we said our goodbyes and left

"She's trying to snatch you away from me" he said and I chuckled and intertwined our fingers together putting my head on his shoulder

"No one can snatch me away from you" i said pecking his hand

"Yes i know baby i was joking" he said and we both chuckled

"I love this henna on you baby" he complimented and i smiled

"Its all yours" i whispered

The next day i got ready and immediately the driver dropped me at the house, the dinner is at 7:30 but i know it will start at 8 or even 8:30,

All the bridesmaids were seated talking and laughing uncontrollably so I entered and said hi to them all and they started to include me in the conversation which was funny and at the same time crazy,

Ayush is still giving me attitude but who cares,

Makeup started at 4, 6 makeup artists came just for the bridesmaids and one insisted that she will be the one to transform me,

"Make her look dashing" Hamdiya one of the girls said and the lady nodded

Then boom there is Jadwa with a complete make up well without the eyelashes because they're uncomfortable and mine is even enough masha Allah,

I wore the royal blue gown that all bridesmaids are wearing and the makeup artist tied my own silver head piece then I decided to wear the silver high heeled shoe I picked just for the dinner then went to see how Safina was looking

"Wow" i said opening my mouth then closing it immediately

She was wearing all golden from head to toe, with her glittering gold jewelry all looking amazing,

It was already 8 before we decided to leave home since everyone is ready,

The bride and groom are going in the same car and the bridesmaids cars were waiting downstairs so we went down together with hamida but before i even entered a car i saw Sultan's call telling me to come and go together with him so i went to look for his car,

That was when I noticed the royal guards all getting into a car before i saw him,

He wore a white kaftan and a black shoe with his white cap which have grey decoration all over, he was holding his babban riga on one hand trying to fix his wristwatch on the orher,

"Let me help" i said and before he answered I collected the watch from him and helped,

He didn't say a word since he saw me he was just starring without blinking,

I stood there waiting for him to say something but before I knew what was happening he hugged me in front of people omg

"I love you Jadwa" he whispered still not breaking the hug

"I love you too" I whispered gently pushing him

"Babe the makeup can stain your white cloth" i said explaining why i pushed him but he said "who cares" and we entered the car,

The dinner was so well organized and nice, we didn't leave till around 12am and immediately we got home I looked for wipes and cleaned the whole make up because it stooped fresh air from entering my face lol

Saturday morning the wedding Fatiha took place and we were supposed to leave for london that same night because Safina need to see her doctor for some check up before Monday because of her condition,

So at 8pm we all headed for the airport,

I sat with sultan in our own personal space in the first class cabin,

Almost an hour into the flight he said he had to discuss something with Mus'ain so he got up and went there then Safina came and sat with me

"Don't forget to add me on your bridesmaids list okay?" She asked catching me off guard

"What?" I immediately asked and she said "you'll see"

Sultan

"Why am i even nervous?" I asked Mus'ain and he was busy starring at his bride

"Oh Sorry" he said taking a sip from his juice

"Relax its all gonna turn out just fine kaji, she loves you and we both know that" he added and i nodded and we talked for a bit and when i wasn't feeling nervous anymore i got up and went back to my seat,

Immediately we arrived, we all escorted the groom and bride to their house and the driver took me and Jadwa to where we're staying

We are both tired from the trip so we just said good night and went to sleep,

I woke up early the next morning which was weird for me so I decided to call the room service and order for food because i know Jadwa will be so hungry when she wakes up,

After about 30 minutes the food was here and just in time she came out of her room and we sat there eating as we watch a cartoon which she was weirdly interested in,

We stayed in all day watching what I learned was boss baby and watch an entire season before she fell asleep on the couch and I didn't want to wake her so i allowed her,

I didn't know i slept there too till the next day when I woke up and found myself sleeping in a sitting position wow,

"Baby let's do something fun today" i told her when we finished eating and she smiled and said alright,

I am so nervous and Mus'ain is on a honey moon so i cant call him,

She came out wearing a simple top and leggings with a blue veil and her small purse,

I told the driver the address and we drove off and after minutes of driving we arrived at Sea Life Aquarium, she loves watching discovery channel so much so I decided to take her there

We got to the place and it took evert ounce of me not to scream, i am in a walk through aquarium wow

I noticed something in sultan but I ignored thinking he is just still tired from the wedding,

We were walking hand in hand looking at all the sea animals floating and suddenly his hands got sweaty that he had to put them in his pocket,

Then we stopped when we saw a fake mermaid display, i was too carried away and didn't even notice when he got down till i heard screams then I looked and saw him kneeling on one knee with a box of ring

"Jadwa" he started and i was just looking at him with tears in my eyes,

"I prepared a nice speech baby but all of a sudden I'm speechless and don't even know where to start from , I'm sorry about that Cupcake but please will you do me the honor of making me the happiest king to be?" He asked and immediately there were signs with the words "cupcake will you marry me?"from all angles in the aquarium

"Omg" I silently said wiping the tears from my eyes

"Yes yes yes i will" i blurted out holding him to get up because he's been kneeling then he slipped the ring on my right ring finger and pulled me into a hug

"Shhhh cmon stop crying" he said slowly and i nodded and wiped the tears

I heard claps all over but I ignored and buried my head in his neck,

From there we went for an amazing sea view dinner before going back home to pack our things because suddenly we are going back to Nigeria the next day because he is anxious to start wedding preparations,

"How many children do you want?" He asked and made me almost choke from the water i was drinking,

We were in the plane doing questions and answers then he started laughing as he held my hand,

"We're going to have a handsome little boy and a beautiful girl that looks like you" he explained and i nodded as i placed my head on his shoulder,

"I love you Jadwa"

"I love you too Sultan"........
