Third Person's P.O.V.

Adrian smiled looking down at his sleeping mate who looked so peaceful cuddling into his strong chest making him smile more than his mate excepts him. He had heard countless stories of how female she-wolves would run away from their mate or even try to fight the mate bond. Adrain could never understand why they would do that. It would only cause a great deal of pain. Dragons are much more different than wolves when it comes to the mate bond. The bond is much stronger and can't ever be broken even in death. The same goes for a legendary race known as the fox demi-gods. Personally, Adrain has never seen one before nor does he believe they still exist.

His thoughts were soon interrupted by his mate waking up. "Morning my little rose. Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah. Best sleep I've had in a long time." She said. Adrian watched Diana sit up taking a good look around what was now her and his room. Diana noticed the time on the clock by the bed and started to panic getting out of bed in rush. Adrian pulled Diana back into the bed by her waist growling lowly causing her to flinch fearing she might be in trouble.

"Don't think I'm letting you leave little rose. After so long I finally found you."

"I-I'm sorry your majesty. I just panicked because I have to head back home. Mom and dad will be upset with me if I don't head back now."

The mentioning of her leaving upset Adrian more. Diana was not his mate and future queen so there is no reason for her to go back home. Her new home is with him ruling the kingdom together.

"You are now my queen so there is no need for you to call me majesty. Furthermore, there is no need for you to go back. Your home is here with me."

Diana smiled placing her hand on Adrain's cheek. "Your right. My home is with you, but I like to go back and tell my parents and have you meet them. I also like to pack some of my stuff. I have some personal items I like to have with me."

Shaking his head Adrian understood that she was right. Better to meet her parents now than later on. He also likes to see what her parents are like and if she has been treated well. He clearly didn't like how her sister was last night. Her sister was very close to losing her life in the blink of an eye. Letting Diana go he got of bed leading his little rose to the bathroom to freshen up. Not long after they headed down to the royal dining room where breakfast was already served. Diana noticed Owen who is her mates' best friend from last night.

"Good morning my king and queen. I trust you both slept well?" Owen asked with a gentle smile on his face. Adrian knew he was happy to finally now serve a queen. He didn't care if his queen is a wolf or any other supernatural being.

"Best sleep I ever had in a long time. I feel so refreshed and honestly happy." Diana said looking up at Adrian who winked at her.

"Owen. I need you to clear my schedule for the day. I'll be headed back with my little rose to her pack to get her stuff and also meet with her parents." Adrain said taking a sip of his coffee.

Owen smiled. "Already taken care of. I had a feeling this would happen so I took care of it last night."

"What would I do without you?" Adrian said chuckling.

"I'm pretty sure you be a big mess without me. Your best friend and second in command of the dragon kingdom." Owen replied back with a smirk. Adrian threw a small cherry tomato at him for him to shut up. This made Diana giggle at their actions. Seeing the mighty dragon king act in such a childish manner was very warming to her. It made Diana feel like all the scary rumors about him are all false, but she knew not to take it that far. Some could be true from how he almost killed her sister.

"The car is ready for your departure." The butler said before walking off to give the other servants their orders.

Adrain stood up walking over to Diana holding out his hand to her. "Ready to go my little rose?"

Diana took his hand getting up from her seat with a small blush. "Ready as I'll ever be. Let's just hope no problems arise."

"What do you mean?"

She looked down. "You'll know when we get there."

Having his little rose look down with sad eyes broke his heart and upset his dragon. Depending on how her sister is he guessed that her parents are just as bad. It's sad when a good egg is born into a bad family.

The ride back to Diana's pack home was not long. When the car came to a stop the driver opens the door for the both of them to step out. It didn't take long for all the pack members to be looking out the window trying to get a good look at my mate. Most of the girls looked at him like they were ready to take him on the ground not caring who watched. The looks made Diana growl at them singling them to back off.

"Don't worry my little rose. Those girls are nothing compared to your natural beauty."

"Adrain you say the most thoughtful things. It makes my wolf and heart filled with joy."

Adrian smiled pulling Diana closer to him. "I love you. Even if we have just met, I know I love you. And I hope you can say those three wonderful words to me."

Just when Diana was going to speak her sister Amora burst open the door with an angry look on her face with parent's right behind her. Diana could tell this was not going to end well.

"Diana why did you not come back home last night! I heard you embarrassed your sister at the party last night. What do you have to say for yourself?" Diana's mother yelled not noticing king Adrian at the moment.

"How dare you speak to my queen like that!" Adrain shouted back with much force that it caused Diana's mother to cower back in fear. Her father held her close to him in a protective manner.

"And you are?" Diana's father asked.

Diana took a step forward. "Mom, dad. This is my mate Adrian Valentine. The king of the dragons."

Her father and mother's eyes widen in the fact that their daughter was mated to the dragon king. They had thought it would be Amora and not Diana.

"A-are you sure about that." her mother asked not believing it.

"She's lying, mom! I'm a better match for the dragon king! Not her!" Amora said taking a step closer to Adrian in which he growled making her stop in her place.

"Diana Winter is my mate yet you still don't believe your own daughter! Favoring a child is something parents never should do! And you! You're lucky I didn't kill you at the party last night. Thank your sister for letting you live. I feel pity for the poor sap who might turn out to be a spoiled wolf brats' mate."

At this point, Adrian was seething mad with his eyes turning from brown to a glowing gold color. His dragon was taking control and Diana had to do something to calm him down or else her family might end up dead. She gently cupped Adrian's cheeks making him look her in the eyes.

"Please calm down. I know my parents and sister are not the best but they are still my family. Let me take you to my room so I could pack my things."

That seemed to do the trick because his eyes turned back into the beautiful chocolate brown that she loves.

"Fine." was all Adrian said before giving her parents and sister one final death glare that made them turn so pale it would make Casper the friendly ghost jealous.

Once Diana was done packing her things away Adrain grabbed her bags putting them in the trunk of the car.

"Ready to head back home my little rose?"

Diana gave one last look at her pack and family. She could see the look of death in her sisters' eyes. Why could she not just accept the fact that Adrian is her mate and just be happy? The same could be said for her parents too. It's always about Amora getting everything. Now Diana could see that it's best to leave and start a new with her mate. The only thing that now troubles her is the fact that she will be ruling over the dragon race. Will she make a good queen for them? Will she still continue on in her studies? Everything is happening far too fast for her. Is she truly ready for this?

Letting out a sigh she looked at her loving mate. "Yeah. Let's go."
