It concerned you that Connor and Aiden hadn't come back from breakfast yet. It had surely already been two hours since they left. You were curled up in the chair by the fireplace, reading a book. Occasionally, you would glance at the door and strain your ears to hear footsteps, but there weren't any.
Growing bored of the book, you shut it and sat it on the chair as you stood up. You made your way towards the door and opened it, peering around the hallway. It was quiet and empty. You frowned and stepped out, making your way down the hall.
You hadn't been truly left alone since that first day. Maybe it was time for you to explore.
What's there to explore? You're just looking for trouble now. The logical part of you thought, but you brushed it off and went down a hallway you weren't familiar with. It felt colder the further down the hall you went. It felt ominous. You tried a few doors, but it was mostly storage closets and empty rooms.
You were about to give up as you slowly opened a door that was tucked in the corner of the hall. You were surprised to find that the room wasn't empty. There was furniture covered by white sheets and a door leading into a neighboring room. You stepped inside and shut the door behind you. You wandered through the room, but there wasn't much there except for a cold fireplace and a sheet-covered couch.
Concluding that the first room didn't satisfy your curiosity, you opened the door to the next room. You were surprised to see a bedroom. It was similar to Connor and Aidens, however there was only one bed. Another door was on the far right of the room and bookshelves and two desks lined the walls. What was this place?
You walked over to a desk to see a blond man in his late 30s smiling next to a brunette lady in a photo. They were out in a meadow and the man had a blue suit on, the woman a white dress. Your gaze traveled to the next one. The couple looked slightly older and the woman was obviously pregnant. Next. Two babies sleeping in the couples arms. You slowly realized whose room you were in.
"(Y/n). What are you doing here?" A voice softly asked and you turned around to see Aiden and Connor standing in the doorway.
"W-well...I....H-how did you know I was here?" You struggled to come up with an explanation.
"We figured you'd go exploring sooner or later, although I wish any other room would have peaked your interest." Connor sighed.
You stared at the ground, "Its your parents room isn't it."
"Yes." Aiden replied as he looked around.
You picked up a frame and handed it to them, "There's their faces. You said you forgot, so why don't you ever come back and look? The photos are right here."
Connor took the frame and tossed it to the ground, uninterested. "I don't have a desire to remember them."
You looked down at the now shattered frame with wide eyes, "But they're your parents! They seem so kind and-"
"(Y/n). Stop talking." Aiden commanded as he glared at you.
"But why! Surely, you feel something for them. They...They..." You were so confused. Those people seemed so nice. Why were Connor and Aiden being so cold?
Connor grabbed your wrist and started pulling you towards the door, Aiden walking beside him. "Come on. We're leaving."
You pulled against him, "No! I want to explore more! I want to know about them!"
Aiden whirled around, "There's nothing to know! Now just stop!"
You dug your heels into the ground, "Not until you tell me why you don't like them."
Connor glanced at you angrily, "(Y/n). Have you ever heard of the phrase 'Curiosity killed the cat'?"
You nodded, narrowing your eyes.
"Well then stop being curious." He snapped as he started dragging you towards the door again.
"There's another part to it." You replied, breaking out of his grasp, "'But satisfaction brought it back.'"
Aiden tapped his foot, "(Y/n). Get in the hallway right now. We don't want to talk about this subject."
You scowled, "I talk about whatever topic you guys want me to. You practically assault me and scare me. I ask one question and you guys can't even answer it." You turned your back to them and walked back into the room.
"I'm going to give you five seconds to come here right now." Connors voice was emotionless.
"Or what?" You snapped, fed up with the way you were being treated.
"Reed dies." Aiden replied. You turned around, your eyebrows raised.
"One." Connor started, staring you down.
"I just want an answer!" You yelled, meeting his gaze.
"Two." Aiden said, watching your every movement.
"Stop acting like children!" You continued, watching their gazes harden even more.
"Three." Connor hissed as he slowly backed away towards the door.
What should you do (Y/n)!? You could potentially find something against them in here, but they'll go after Reed if you don't leave!
"Four." Aidens voice cut through your thoughts.
Think! Find a compromise! You watched Connor raise his eyebrows as his mouth opened.
"Fi-"
You shoved your hand over his mouth and stomped out into the hallway. You'd come back later without them finding out.
"You're testing your luck, my dear." Aiden growled as he came out beside you.
You ignored him and started walking down the hallway.
"Oh, so we're back to this phase?" Connor asked as he grabbed a fistful of your (h/c) hair and yanked you back.
You bit your lip, containing a yell, as you looked at the ground.
"(Y/n). Say something." Aiden demanded as he walked in front of you.
You crossed your arms and continued staring at the ground.
"Listen here and listen very closely, my dear." Connor started as he grabbed your chin and forced you to look at him. "I will take my sword and run it through the stable boys chest. Do you hear me? I don't care for him in the least. Stop ignoring us or thats exactly what's going to happen."
You glared at him and slapped his hand away.
"Perhaps she needs some motivation again." Aiden offered as he stared at you angrily.
"What are you suggesting?" Connor murmured as he turned to look at Aiden.
You took the momentary distraction and bolted past him, headed for your room. He reached his arm out and grabbed you by the waist, his expression turning darker.
"Don't run dear. That'll just make it worse for everyone."
You felt fear slowly creep into your brain as you looked at Connors emotionless blue eyes. He looked insane.
"P-please. I'm sorry."
Aiden laughed bitterly, "All we had to do was scare her to get her to talk. No, dear. You're still getting punished."
There was a feeling of pressure behind your ear.
"Stop! Stop that hurts!" You cried out, seeing spots in your vision.
"Oh, (Y/n). The pain hasn't even begun to start." Connor murmured before a curtain of black fell down on your mind.
~~~~
Your head felt heavy. You opened your eyes, confused, but saw nothing. The color black greeted them. Panic instantly set in and you went to rub your eyes but found you couldn't. A harsh material rubbed against your wrists and tied them to whatever you were sitting on.
"Hello?" You called out.
"Oh she's awake brother." Aiden said to your right. You whipped your head toward the noise.
"Hm, I guess she is." Connor said on your left, and you turned that way.
"Aw, look! She looks so afraid." Aiden murmured and you felt hot breath on your ear, "Don't worry dear. We won't kill you."
"Why can't I see?!" You asked, panic lacing your voice.
"Calm down. It's a blindfold." Connor sighed as he grabbed the cloth and ripped it away from your face.
It didn't help much. The room you were in was dark as well, except now you could see Aiden who was a few inches from your face.
"Aw. I missed those eyes. They're so pretty."
You turned your head away from him. "What are you guys going to do?"
"Well. It's more of what we aren't going to do." Connor said as he walked into your view.
"W-what do you mean?" You asked.
"Dear (Y/n). Do you know what a few hours without food, alone in the dark can do to you?" Aiden laughed as he watched a look of fear cross your face.
"Hallucinations, paranoia. We can even mold your mind after that point." Connor murmured as he ran a hand along your cheek.
Your hands instinctively tugged at the restraints and Aiden sighed.
"Don't try to escape." Aiden mused as he smiled at you.
"And why not?" You snapped continuing to pull at the bindings.
"Because if you do something we don't like while you're carrying out your punishment, we hurt your friend. I think she said her name was Nadia, right brother?" Connor looked at Aiden innocently.
All the color drained from your face and you stared at him with wide eyes, "Don't touch her." You begged.
Connor hummed, "That all depends on you dear. You can continue to beg though. I do love the face you make when you do that."
You felt like screaming. How had you gotten into this situation.
"She looks so helpless." Commented Aiden as he ran a finger down your arm, giving you goosebumps.
"Stop." You whispered, "Just stop. Please." You shook. "I'm sorry. I'll listen to you. Just let Nadia go!"
"You'll listen to us?" Inquired Connor.
"Yes!" You rushed out.
"To everything we say?" Aiden smirked at you.
You furrowed your brow, "N-not everything-"
He sighed, "Deals off then."
"B-but isn't everything a little too much?!" You cried out as you tried to reason with him.
"Not at all. We're all you need. You should only answer to us (Y/n)." Connor stated.
You shook your head, "You two are insane."
"We'll see who the insane one is in a few hours." Aiden mused as he got up and slowly walked away from you.
"See you later, dear." Connor said as he too left you.
You waited until you couldn't hear their footsteps before you let out a scream of frustration and anger.
A/N: I hate having an odd number of parts, but I can never beat the clock when writing these ;-;. I feel like I need to start making Aiden and Connor more crazy, since they're not giving off complete yandere vibes yet. I have plans for that later, but I have to fill in all the storyline before that happens! Hope you're enjoying the story so far!
