You sat on your bed, looking out the window. It was late afternoon and the sky was a pale pink and orange color. You tried not to focus on the sounds of running water in the next room.

Why did I let them use my shower.... You sighed and looked at the closed door

"Dear. Can we use your bathroom? It would save us so much trouble. " Aiden said as he rested his hand on the door.

You raised your eyebrows, "Why can't you just use the one in your room?"

Connor shrugged and smiled, "This one's closer to you."

"I only have one shower though." You said, not exactly feeling comfortable with the idea.

"Nonsense. There's a bath in here too. I prefer baths over showers anyway." Aiden pushed the door open and winked.

"I-I don't think..."

Connor leaned against the wall, "Come on dear. It's not like we're telling you to join us." He leaned towards you, "unless you want to..."

"No! I-It's fine. Just go!" You shoved them into the bathroom and shut the door. You could hear Aiden laughing from the other side.

You scowled and laid back on the bed, staring at the ceiling. They were too manipulative. Your stomach growled slightly, and you grimaced. Apparently fighting worked up an appetite.

The running water stopped in the room and you quickly sat up and looked at the door. No one came out. You furrowed your brow and turned to look out the window. The sun was slowly starting to set causing the sky to be a mixture of pale purples.

This day went by really fast...

The door opened and you turned to see Connor come out. His hair was still wet and clung to his face. Your eyes widened and you turned away your face red.

"Connor." You mumbled as you looked back out the window.

"Yes?" He asked as he attempted to comb his hair with his fingers.

"Go find clothes." You felt your face redden even more as you scanned the sunset.

He laughed, "(Y/n). I have a towel on, relax." He came towards you.

You glanced at him, your eyes landing on his chest, and you shot up on the bed, getting as far away from him as possible. "You're not allowed to come near me until you have proper clothes on."

"And why not?"

"You get touchy. A lot. I'm not doing that while you're...barely covered."

He grinned up at you before shrugging, "Fine. I'll listen to you...this time." His eyes glinted mischievously before he turned towards the door.

"Where's Aiden?" You looked around tentatively.

Connor opened the door and looked back at you, "He's meticulous about his appearance, so he's probably still in there drying his hair off and making sure he looks as presentable as possible."

You raised your eyebrows, "I'd think you'd be the one to care about appearance."

He laughed, "I'd rather make impressions with my actions." He winked. "Dear, I'll be back in a few moments." His figure disappeared down the hallway.

You sat back down the on the bed and strained your ears to hear any noise in the bathroom. You didn't want to go in in case Aiden tried to attempt something, but you wanted to make sure he was okay as well. You didn't hear anything, so you sat in silence, waiting for either brother to make an appearance.

"Stupid hair." A voice murmured and you turned to see Aiden messing with his hair, trying to move a few curls out of his face.

"Aiden." You said as you looked away from him, "I told your brother and I'm going to tell you. Go put clothes on."

Aiden looked at your turned head and pouted, "Come on dear. Can't we have any fun?"

You glared at him, "Not until you put clothing on."

He shuddered, "So cold (Y/n)."

"Clothing."

He laughed as he headed for the door, "Alright, alright. I'll comply." He disappeared into the hallway.

You slid off the bed and walked into the bathroom. It was steamy and the mirror was fogged up. You bent down and opened the cabinet peering inside. You let out a sigh of relief. The berries and remedy hadn't been touched.

"What are you doing dear?" Connor asked as he stood in the doorway. He had switched his towel for a light blue cotton shirt and white pants.

You turned to look at him and smiled sheepishly, "I was making sure you and Aiden hadn't placed anything in here that would compromise my privacy."

He smirked and sat down in the chair by the fireplace, "Oh, so you think we belong in that category of men."

You slowly shut the cabinet and walked out of the bathroom, shutting the door. "Maybe. Is it that surprising?"

He glanced at you, "No. I suppose not, but don't worry. We didn't do anything like that. We don't need to. Our eyes will always be on you."

You shivered at the thought and walked back over to the bed.

"What? You don't like it?" Connor smiled at you.

"Not particularly." You admitted as you fidgeted with your hands.

"Hey! I thought you said you'd wait for me!" Aiden yelled as he appeared in the doorway. He wore similar clothing to Connor, but his shirt was a light green. You raised your eyebrows at the change of color.

"What?" Aiden asked as he looked down at himself, "Is there something wrong?"

You shook your head, "No. It's just you and Connor always dress the same that it's weird seeing you like that."

He smiled and looked down at the green shirt, "Well, every now and then I wear green. It matches my skin tone well don't you think?"

You nodded.

"We have the same skin tone." Connor scoffed as he shook his head.

Aiden stuck his tongue out and turned back to you. His eyes focused just behind you and he raised his eyebrows.

"Its that late already!?"

You glanced outside. The sun was barely visible at this point and everything looked black against the sky. "I guess so."

"Are you hungry dear?" Connor asked as he stood up.

You thought for a moment before nodding.

"Alright! Let's head for the dining hall." Aiden smirked, "I hear the chefs are testing out the ways to cook the (f/f) you requested."

Your eyes widened and you looked at him excitedly, "Does that mean we get to eat it?"

Connor watched your expression with amusement, "If you want."

You nodded eagerly and brushed past Aiden, walking down the hall.

"Slow down!" Aiden called out as they rushed to catch up with you.

You glanced over your shoulder, "Can't. There's food waiting for me."

They both laughed as they followed you down the hall.

You pushed open the door and your mouth dropped. Different styles and types of your (f/f) were spread out across the table.

"Woah..." You breathed as you inhaled. The smell of the food made your stomach growl.

"Wow. They're really trying hard for this." Aiden commented as he came up beside you.

"I would hope," Connor said with a laugh, "Their lives are staked on it."

You didn't hear the comment as you went up to the table. You scanned over all the different layouts of the food. Some of it had fancy garnishes while others had a simplistic approach. You grabbed a few things off of plates and bit down happily. The taste flooded your system and warmed up your stomach.

"This is really good!" You exclaimed as you turned to look at the brothers. They smiled at you encouragingly and you turned back to try more.

You methodically went around, trying every different plate before you looked back at the brothers who were watching you.

"They're all so good." You stated as you glanced back at the food.

"Well, we can have the chefs make this on a smaller scale for the masquerade then." Connor said with a smile.

You nodded before yawning.

"Are you tired dear?" Aiden asked as he came towards you.

You nodded slowly, "I ate too much."

They both laughed as they took your arms and guided you towards the door.

"You've had a long day as well." Connor said as he opened the door. The three of you stepped out into the hallway and walked down the halls.

You nodded in agreement as you made your way to your room.

"You're so cute when you're tired (Y/n)." Aiden said as he planted a kiss on your cheek.

You were too tired to yell at him. "Thanks."

They opened your door and you silently made your way over to the bed.

"Goodnight." You mumbled as you pulled up the covers and turned away from them.

"Goodnight dear." They said as they watched you silently doze off.

An hour passed.

"We should probably go attend to the last-minute details..." Aiden murmured as he watched the covers rise and fall with your breaths.

"Yes. We probably should." Connor agreed as he tore his gaze away from you.

They both silently exited your room and turned down the hall.

A/N: So I think I'm going to update next on Thursday and then Saturday I should be back to my normal schedule. Camp is really tiring, especially when you're moving nonstop from 6 A.M to 7 P.M. Hope you're enjoying the story. Two days until the masquerade!~
