Jasmine's POV
I was amazed by the man standing in front of me. He took care of me while I was drunk off my a** and even went above and beyond to cook breakfast for me.
There was this warm and fuzzy feeling bubbling inside me at his generosity.
I was also feeling upset as I checked my text messages I have received. My parents would be gone all weekend and Landon is missing me and Reese has big news for me. There was so much happening, I can't keep up. Especially with this stranger in my house. I felt more comfortable with him than any other man, including Landon.
"Um, Trevor? Why is it that you are here? I barely know you and I was expecting to be with Landon, not you..." I say honestly. He was quite surprised by my question and he inhaled a deep breath of air.
"I can't tell you much right now, but you are very special to me. I don't like to cloud your judgement but you have to end things with Landon. It will break my heart if you keep your relationship afloat." I felt my stomach tie up in guilt.
"Have you kissed him?" Trevor asked quietly. I have a feeling he already knew the answer.
I nodded, "Yes, I have." Without a second to spare, Trevor threw my flower vase across the room, shattering into a million pieces.
"Trevor!" I screamed angrier.
My favorite vase...
Trevor roughly grabbed my arms and pulled me close to him. "Do you not feel the sparks? The attraction to me? A pull?" I looked at him in shock. He feels it too?
I didn't say anything. "I'm going to kiss you. Try to deny it and there will be severe punishments." Trevor's eyes were pitch black, again.
"Ok." I mumbled but I was too shocked and scared to properly respond. Trevor slowly traced along my collarbone and admiring my face.
"So beautiful... Jasmine, you are mine!" He says huskily, trailing his finger down my jaw. Then without further ado, he leans forward and kisses me.
The sparks erupted as my soft lips collided with his soft lips. I was in heaven. What is this stranger doing to me?
He somehow lodged his tongue in my mouth and was exploring it. The grip of his hands on my hips lighten as he brought one half to hold my a**.
This was quite the experience.
I looked into Trevor's eyes and they returned to his icy blue color. I needed air so I pushed Trevor back and I heard a growl in response? Odd.
Trevor was grinning from ear to ear.
"Does Landon make you feel like that?" He asked. I shook my head 'no' as I was at a loss of words.
All I could think right now was Trevor and how sexy he was. That was the best kiss ever- even though I only kissed Landon prior to this.
This kiss made me feel like we were connected somehow. I wanted more.
"Exactly. Why can't you see that we were made for each other?" He said. I sighed.
"I just got into a relationship, I can't be kissing other guys." I mumble, thinking straight back into reality. Trevor huffed, "Other guys? Jasmine, I've waited my entire existence for you to be born! You don't know how angry I am that you let that filthy human kiss you! I'm not angry at you because you don't know what's going on, but trust in your heart that we are meant to be." I was completely stunned.
"I don't understand." I admit. Which is true, Trevor is hiding something from me.
"I know you don't understand. On day you will and I don't ever want you to feel a single ounce of regret. Please behave and end your measly relationship with Landon." I sighed.
"Can I at least be friends with him?" I mumble. He rolls his eyes, "Not really."
I huff, "You sound like a controlling boyfriend. I'm not dating you, I'm dating Landon!" I state and he then takes me by surprise with a kiss.
I tried pulling away, but this kiss was more forceful and with those sparks again.
He finally released me, "You. Are. Mine." I sucked in a breath.
"Now, before I take you away-understand that you will never see Landon again." I froze.
"Take me awa-away?" I stammer. He looks at me with a serious expression. "Yes, one day you will go with me to my home. Once you graduate, you will be with me. Time is ticking. Tic, tok." My heart began to erratically beat faster at these news.
I've had enough of this man.
"Get the f*ck out of my house!" I yell. He looks at me weirdly. "No." He disagrees with a sour expression on his face.
I give a nervous laugh, "Ok, well make yourself comfy! I'll just go sleepover Landon's until my parents come home. If you wanted to meet them so badly, you will now get that chance!"
"You would of thought that would happen. Over my dead body!" I could see the veins lift through his skin as he starts to get angry again.
"Then see yourself out." I mumble.
Trevor stands up, "I have to leave anyways. Goodbye, my angel." He walks towards and plants a kiss on my forehead.
I walk behind him to the door and lock the door. This man is a psychopath.
I sigh, I have to call Landon and ends things. Trevor is making everything so complicated!
I pull my phone out and give Landon a call.
"Hello?" Landon picks up, and it sounds as he just woke up.
"Hey Landon! It's Jasmine. I was wondering if you can come over?" I heard some shuffling on the other end. "Yes, Jas. I'll be over in a few!"
"Ok. See you soon." I hang up as a tear slipped down my face.
I have to clean up before Landon comes, I don't want to worry him more than I already have these past two days.
I clean up my broken vase and then head upstairs to shower. My head was spinning a little from my alcohol consumption from last night and I just wanted to feel somewhat refreshed. As I'm washing my body in the shower, I heard my phone ring. I am assuming that's Landon calling for me to unlock the front door.
Oops.
I turn off the water and quickly dry off my body with a towel. I put on a oversized t-shirt and my soft comfy shorts.
I run downstairs and peek through the window to see Landon at the front door.
Phew, I don't want any unwanted visitors.
I open the door and give Landon a small smile. Landon has a large smile plastered on his face and he brings me in for a hug.
"Hi, Jas." I smile, "Hey Landon. Come on in!" I greet.
"Are you hungry? Do you need anything?" I ask him politely.
"Nah, I'm good. So what's up? Is everything ok?" Landon asks, following me into the kitchen.
"Jasmine! What the heck happened in here!" I turned to he where he's facing. Oh, I forgot to clean up the remaining bits and pieces.
"That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about..." I say as I feel my heart drop a little.
"Okay, Jas. You're scaring me." I shrug. I walk up to him and take his hand. "Come, let's get comfortable for this long story I'm about to tell you." I guide him to my living room and we both sit down.
"Ok start." Landon urged nervously.
I take a deep breath, "So you know that manager from the restaurant? Well he has a weird crush on me. He invited me back last night to the restaurant to apologize but he kept flirting with me! He pressured me to drink some alcohol and he brought me home too. Landon this is getting scary." I confine with him. Landon rubs circles on my back,
"Why would you not text or call me? Jas, remember I'm your boyfriend, not that lowlife manager." Landon looked angry.
"Jas, it's not your fault. Clearly there is something going on. I will protect you." I internally laughed. No offense to Landon, but I'm sure Trevor will squish him like a bug with his eyes closed.
"It gets worse, Landon." I mumble. His eyes perked up in curiosity.
"He said once I graduate, he's taking me away..." I look down upset.
"No way. This man is sick! Jas, we need to plan a future together so we can move far away from here." I nod in agreement, still feeling tightness in my chest.
How would Trevor react to this?
"He told me to break up with you." I mumble. His eyes widen a bit, "You are going to listen to him? No way in h*ll. Instead, we can keep our relationship on the down low." I nod, sounds like a good plan to me. I gave him a small smile, "Ok. But that means we can't be seen together outside school. That will suspicious."
"True. You're right. Can I least cuddle with you tonight and then you break up with me in the morning?" I nodded, and he smiled.
"Want to order take out? What are you feeling for dinner?" Landon asks me. "Hm, chinese food?" I respond.
"Sounds good!" Landon says and takes his phone out to call.
I hope everything works out.
