Third POV

Calista flip pages through pages. She is bored while looking at it. "What are you reading?" she asked Axel who is leaning himself on the tree of the Palace garden.

They're sitting at the spot they always sit. But they sits on the opposite sides, Axel face what in front of him and Calista face what in front of her while the two of them leaning against the big tree.

"A book, stupid." he answered. "Then what? A duck?" he asked nonchalantly making Calista frown.

"Geez.. I know you're reading a book. I want to know what is the title." she pouted while looking at her boring book.

"You don't like to read so why bother?" Axel rolled his eyes.

"I like romance novels." Calista said confidently.

"Useless."

"Hey!! It's not useless!"

"Whatever."

Calista sigh and look at the clear blue sky and feel the calm refreshing breeze passed her.

The two of them has spent a lot of time together. That's really surprising for Calista but she's grateful that they get along. Like they're just focus on their own little world.

She thought that she might change the sotryline but she doesn't really care about it now.

"The air feels nice.." she smiled while the wind gently blows her hair.

"..yeah.." Axel replied, as always.. short and useless.

-

Days passed, shining lights, invitations, luxurious party, it is the birthday party of Calista on her 13th birthday.

"Greetings, Prince Axelion de Eclat. I thank you for coming to my humble Birthday Ball." Calista bowed as she greeted Axel.

"I told you don't be so formal." he frowned with a crossed arms.

"Right, right." Calista just nodded casually.

"My father sends you his blessings. He's busy so he couldn't come." he explained while looking around.

"I understand. He's the 'Emperor'."

"Oh, This is my present." he said as he throw her a small box. Miraculously, she's able to catch it.

"You could just give it to me normally." she raise her brow.

"I like it that way." he smirked as he look at her.

"Well, thank you." she thanked him sarcastically.

-

In the current time, Axel and Calista are sitting at the balcony, enjoying their time together.

"Now, I'm going to leave." he suddenly said as he prepared himself making Calista widen her eyes.

"Huh!? You just arrived!" she protested.

"So.. you want me to stay longer?" he teased her as smirk plastered across his lips.

"Of course!" she said loud and clear making him widened his eyes.

"She didn't even deny it.." he thought as he look at her with widen eyes. He sigh as he turn his head to see the dark sky that is filled with stars.

"..I'm going." Calista raise her brow.

"Where?"

"Did you forgot? I have a Royal training for 3 to 4 years." he rolled his eyes at how stupid her answer is.

"Royal training...?" Calista stopped for a moment. "Oh! I remember now!" she smiled as she remembered it.

In the novel, the Heroine meet the Prince after he just returned to the Empire from his Royal training.

The Royal family has a tradition that's been going on for the Prince.

When they turned 13, they have to go to the Royal training at the Eclat Forest for 3 - 4 years.

She look at Axel who is crossing his arms. She smiled. "O-oh.. I forgot." she said awkawardly.

"I'm going today." he announced while looking at her.

"Why today tho?" she asked to herself. "Alright, alright. Have a safe trip and be stronger when you came back." she said nonchalantly as he snorted.

"Of course I'm strong. And you're weak." he mocked her.

"At least be grateful that I wished your safety." she glared him.

"Yeah, yeah." he patted her head.

"I don't have anything to give you, but you'll get your gift after returning." she said.

"I'm not going to war you know." he raised his brow.

"I know that!" Calista said, embarrassed. "It'll get lonely here.." she sadly thought.

"don't forget to send me letters." he look at her hesitantly.

"Hey, that's my lines!" she said with a 'Do not steal stickers, duh bro!' face.

"Yeah, yeah." he said nonchalantly. Calista keep looking at him.

"Don't you have to go?" she asked him confusedly as to why he's still here.

"I.. want to stay with you longer, something's wrong with that?" he asked straightly with a raised brow.

"Whoa! You just confessed it!" Calista cover her mouth, faking her shock. "Your dignity... Is it in pain?" she teased him.

"Shut up." he said with a red face. "...If it's with you, I think I can be more open." he scratch the back of his head shyly.

"Whoa.. Haha!!! That's-" before Calista could finish her lines, Axel beat her to it.

"You're my fiance, I think it's right if I acted.. at least.. in a good way." he said while avoiding eyes contact.

"Awee!!!" she quickly hug him.

"W-what-!!!"

"You're so soft!!! I think I would love hugging you until forever." she smiled widely while hugging him. His ears are red because of her.

"...Let's stay like this... for a while.." he said shyly as Calista smiled widely.

"Sure~ sure~"

-

Calista sigh because of the tiredness. She jump on her bed and feel the fluffiness. Before she sleep, she decided to open Axel's gift.

Her eyes widened in surprised as she look at it. "W-wow... a gold bracelet..." she sweat drop. "How much money I can get from selling this?" she asked while looking at it. She shakes her head. "Just kidding." she smiled playfully.

"Thank you, Axel."

-

It has been one week since Axel left. And Calista is bored and lonely. Well, on a great day like this, they would often spend their time at the Palace garden.

So Calista often spend her picnic alone at the Palace garden.

"M'lady, do you want strawberry cake?" Anne asked worriedly as she look at Calista who seems a bit lonely.

"I want one!!!" she cheered with a bright smile. Anne returned her smile.

"I'll get it ready right away." she bowed and left happily. "I hope M'lady would cheer up."

"Why didn't you informed me sooner?" he asked him with a bored expression.

"Uh... because you are confined for your behavior lately." the butler said nerveously.

"Ah," he said, faking his surprise, "Haha.. you're right.." he stood up from his chair. "I've been in my room for too long." he let out a laugh and continue,
