After calming Ran, you went to Shinichi and exchange every information he got for now with you. You nod understand and did the same.

Megure : Move, move!! This is the police.

In the corner of your eyes, you can see that the men in black panicking but keeping their act. However, you're sure that they're innocence even though they give out a vibe of a killer.

You nudge Shinichi to get his attention and whisper into his ear not noticing the blush that creep up to his cheeks.

Y/N : Hey Shin-chan. Those, men in black.... What do you think about them?

You said while pointing to those men in black for Shinichi to look. Shinichi then look at where you pointed out.

Shinichi : I don't know either. But for now, I know that they're innocence and I bet you think so too. It just..... There's something about them that make me feel uneasy....

You nod.

Y/N : Yeah. I thought that too. It's a bit frustrating.

After you said that, both you and Shinichi chuckle. You than release your hair from staying in a bun, but instead switching it to a ponytail.

Megure : Oh, Kudou-kun and (L/N)-chan. What's the Great Detective and the Princess of the East doing here?

Shinichi : Ah. Inspector Megure.

You can see that one of the men in black start to panic after hearing what Inspector Megure said. The one wearing a black sunglasses then said,

MIB 1 : What?! Kudou?! (L/N)?!

Visitor 1 : Wow!! So that's the famous high school detective Kudou Shinichi and (L/N) (Y/N)!! The one that solves all those unbelievably tricky cases....

You stood there besides Shinichi keeping your poker face while in facts you're embarrass. You automatically grip Shinichi's jacket from behind. Shinichi felt it and turn to you mouthing that 'it's all will be okay,'. You nod still not letting Shinichi's jacket go.

After the noises died down, you and Shinichi went too Inspector Megure never letting go of Shinichi's jacket.

Megure : Let me see if I have this right Kudou-kun.... On this jet coaster....

You stand beside Shinichi that are explaining the sitting arrangement on the ride to Inspector Megure. Then the men in black, the one with long blonde hair come up behind you and Shinichi.

MIB 2 : We don't have time for this bullshit detective game....

MIB 1 : A-aniki....

He said glaring dagger at Shinichi.

Shinichi : Those eyes.... As cold as ice!! The eyes of someone who could kill countless numbers of people without feeling a thing! W-who is he...?

Your grip on Shinichi's jacket tighten and Shinichi notice this. He turn to you seeing you're shaking a bit and a hint of fear in your eyes while your eyes are on the men in black.

Without second thought, Shinichi hug you ignoring all the eyes on you both and you hurriedly burying your face inside Shinichi's chest. He hug you while caressing your head and comforting you.

Ran see this and feel her heart tighten and froze. She never though that Shinichi would be doing that to you since she thought that you and Shinichi aren't close.

Shinichi : It's okay (Y/N)-chan. I'm here with you. You'll be find. They can't do anything to you. They're not here, okay? It's okay.

Shinichi knew about your past life that no one knows of even Ran. Only Shinichi and his parents including Professor Agasa knows. After a few minute, you calm down and the both of you part from the hug with Shinichi still looking at you worriedly.

Y/N : Thank you Shin-chan.

You thank him and give him a small smile. Hearing this, Shinichi then sigh in contentment and give a small smile to you too.

Shinichi : It's okay. Remember, I'll always be with you, okay?

Y/N : Okay.

You nod.

Police 1 : INSPECTOR.... WE FOUND THIS IN THIS WOMAN'S BAG!!

Aiko : It.... It can't be.... That's not mine. I don't know how it got there....

Shinichi then took the knife wrap in a bloody cloth and examine it with you.

Hitomi : A-aiko. How could you do such a thing?

Aiko denied it. On the other hand, the men in black keep on pestering the polices to let them go. You can hear the crowd said that it was a disappointment since they found the killer easier than they thought.

However, you and Shinichi give each other a knowing look.

Megure : Right, take her in as a suspect.

Y/N : Wait a minute, Inspector. That person is not the killer. The killer is....

You pause for a moment looking at Shinichi to let him continue. He nod and proceed along with you.

Y/N & Shinichi : The killer is.... YOU!!

Both of you said while pointing to Hitomi. Hitomi denied it saying that the murdering item is found in Aiko's bag.

Y/N : You can't sever a human head with that especially not with a woman's strength.

Shinichi : And if she did kill him, there would have been plenty of chances to toss the weapon away!! No need to cover it with a cloth and hide it in the bag. Didn't you put that in her bag beforehand?

Hitomi : Of course I didn't!! I was sitting two seats ahead of Kishida-kun. How could I have cut off his head? You were the one who said it first that a woman couldn't cut off his head....

Hitomi said the last sentence pointing to you since you're the one who said it.

Y/N : It certainly would be impossible with a woman's strength....

Shinichi : However, with the speed of the coaster and a steel hoop made from piano wire, it can be done.

Shinichi said finishing your sentences.

Shinichi then ask Inspector Megure and a few of his officer to be the puppet with Shinichi as Hitomi, Inspector Megure as the victim and the other police officers as the other passenger. You too, help out filling the information in along with Shinichi.

Shinichi : See everyone? I'm the murderer and the inspector is the victim.... First when the safety guard is lowered, with an object like a bag on your back....

Shinichi said with a bag in between him and the seat, then sliding down the safety bar with ease.

Shinichi : Ta-da! You can get out easily.... And then next, prepared beforehand...., you pick up something like a hook at the end....

You then hand him a triple hook tied with a rope with the end of the rope being tied into a hoop to Shinichi and then continue to explain while Shinichi act it out.

Y/N : With your legs in the guard, you stretch your body backwards, throw it around the victim's neck.... All of this, in the darkness of the tunnel, of course.... To finish the act, the hook attached to the hoop is tossed onto the rail.

Shinichi : And with the power and speed of the coaster, his head comes right off....

Hitomi : That's outrageous!! Where's your proof?

Hitomi yelled.

Y/N : Let me ask you.... The pearl necklace you were wearing before the ride.... Just where is it now?

You said. Hitomi then froze.

Shinichi : You must likely exchanged the necklace string for the piano wire and had the hook hidden in your bag.

Y/N : Furthermore, you are a gymnast. Unlike the other woman, with your finely trained sense of balance, only you could do this on a rollercoaster.

Reiko : Now just wait a minute!! What about those girl? Couldn't she have done it more easily from behind?

Reiko said while pointing to your seat partner since she's the one behind the victim. You see that your seat partner denied it and on the verge of crying. You hurriedly went to her and calm her down.

Shinichi : She is certainly the suspect but she's innocent. Plus, the murderer know she is killing the victim. So she shed a tear before she did it. Once we left the tunnel and realized he was dead, it was maybe 2 or 3 seconds until we got into the station. In other words, no one riding the coaster other the killer would have been able to shed such large tears.

Reiko : So, are you saying you saw Hitomi crying on the ride?! Do you have any proof?!

Shinichi : Her tear tracks are unshakeable proof. Only on a jet coaster would tears flow sideways.

Hitomi then fall on her knees crying while admitting her wrong doing and the reason why she do it. Apparently, she and the victim have been dating for a long time but they broke up when they enter college and met Aiko and Reiko.

Kishida broke up with her because he wants to be with Aiko and so she wanted to kill him at the place where they have their first date with the necklace he gave and framing Aiko for it.

You look at her sad but also disappointed with her choice. You know. You really know how it feels like.

All of the girls at the scene even Ran were crying from the emotional story except for you. A large quantity of sleeping pills was found inside Hitomi's bag. It appeared, she was planning to die there too.

The necklace used in the crime was discovered two hours later. It was indeed a hoop made from piano wire. Most of the pearls had come off, but the few that left reflected the dying light of the setting sun. Just like large tears.

TIME SKIP

Ran is still crying even after the three of you have went out to walk around the amusement park.

Shinichi : Hey, c'mon don't cry.

Ran : How can you both be so calm after that? Especially you (Y/N)-chan. You're a woman too. Don't you feel sad? Don't you know how it feels like liking someone for a long time but then, they just chase you away?

Y/N : I do Ran-chan more than you can imagine, but it's not right. I know how it feels like to have someone you loved and cared for leave you. But killing someone isn't the right thing either especially the one you treasure. Instead of killing, you should support them. Why not just let them go if it will make them happy. Just like the quotes that I always keep reminding myself, 'If you love them, let them go and if they love you, they'll come,'. Just let him/her be happy with the one they choose. Even though some thing can't be return. I know it's hard but you need too.

Unnoticed to you that Shinichi is looking at you with a knowing look but not realizing that your words have more meaning to it. Ran than look at you with an unreadable expression that both you and Shinichi can't put a finger on it. After a few seconds, Ran then smile and hug you tightly.

Ran : You're right (Y/N)-chan. One shouldn't do that if they really love them. Instead they should be happy and support them. I understand now (Y/N)-chan. Thank you.

You then smile and hug her back. You then notice one of the men in black, the one wearing the sunglasses looking around behind the bushes and sneaking away to a more secluded area.

You motion to Shinichi and he understood it right away. You then quickly detach yourself from Ran and followed Shinichi who have started running to the way you motion him.

Shinichi : Sorry Ran!! Go on ahead of us!!

Y/N : We'll catch up to you right away!

Ran : Shinichi! (Y/N)! They're leaving.... Why did I have that feeling. The feeling that I would never see them again.

You and Shinichi are following the man in black and hiding behind a wall.

MIB 1 : Sorry I made you wait, Mr. CEO.

CEO : Look, I came by myself just like you said!!

MIB 1 : I know you did. I checked to make sure from the top of that rollercoaster.

CEO : C'mon give me the thing.

MIB 1 : Don't be so impatient. The money comes first.

CEO : Here!! No problem right?!

You and Shinichi were shock by the amount of the money and keep on observing. As you and Shinichi listen further, it was a gun smuggling and Shinichi keep on taking pictures.

Out of nowhere, something hit you and Shinichi from the back. The both of you fall to the ground. You see that the one that hit you both were another men in black, the one with the blonde long hair, a bat in his hand.

Seeing you both fall to the ground alerting the CEO and the man in black dealing with him to turn to you. The CEO then quickly flee from there.

MIB 1 : A-aniki.

MIB 2 : This little shit was trailing us.

MIB 1 : Should we kill them?

The sunglasses one ask taking out his gun.

MIB 2 : No, no guns. The pigs are still wandering around 'cause of that shit earlier. We'll use this. The new poison the organisation developed.

He then proceed on force fed you and Shinichi the pill. They then left you and Shinichi there. You and Shinichi start to feel hot and feels like your bones are melting. The both of you then started to lose conscious.
