You woke up early today. You jumped out of bed, feeling very excited, which was unusual for you. You brushed your teeth and showered.

You walked back into your room and saw that you had a notification. A notification from Harumi to be exact.

You set your phone down and sighed. You were pretty sure Kusuo was going to realize what is going on pretty early on, but that didn't stop you from planning a 'surprise' birthday party for him.

You changed into comfy clothes and went downstairs to your kitchen. You saw your mom making some delicious breakfest.

You heard the television from the living room. You peeked your head in and saw your dad sitting on the couch watching the discovery channel.

You greeted them both, very happily. Your mom noticed and already knew what was up. "This is about your boyfriend, isn't it?" "Yes" she teased. You still couldn't help, but blush hearing those words. Being reminded that he was your boyfriend, made you feel really lucky and special.

"I take that as a yes," she took your blushing face as her answer, "So, what are you planning to do for him?" "A lot" You were planning a lot for him, but most importantly, you had made him coffee jelly last night.

"Right now, i need to pack his coffee jelly and his present," you answered her, already getting the ingredients ready. "Alright, but don't forget to eat breakfast when you're done," she reminded you.

After you finished packing him his present, you ran downstairs again to eat breakfast. It was a bit cold, but you honestly didn't mind.

After eating your breakfast, you went back upstairs to your room. You sat on your chair, that was next to your desk, and sighed, "This is going to take a while."

In the end, you spent about an hour on your makeup. It mostly consisted of you trying to perfect your eyeliner. You went with a soft and cute look. You also put some glitter on, feeling a bit inspired by Euphoria, since you had recently finished watching it.

You spent another ten minutes deciding on what to wear. You decided on a cute pink dress with strawberries on it.



You put it on and looked in the mirror. 'What if Kusuo doesn't like it?' you ruined your confidence with that one question. You slapped yourself, trying to get some sense into yourself.

You tried not to think too much about it, as you grabbed your phone and the bag with the present in it. You typed a text to Kusuo.

You left him on read. You left your house and skipped towards Kusuo's house, feeling very excited and bubbly.

You were finally at his house, but instead of ringing the doorbell, you started yelling in your head, 'KUSUO! AY! AYO I'M OUT HERE! I KNOW YOU HEAR ME! AYO!' "Shut up," he answered, feeling annoyed, but happy at your appearance.

'What a loving boyfriend. Get ready, i'm waiting,' you already knew of his powers, so this was how you started to communicate, when you were too lazy to speak. "I don't want to," he lied. He was already looking for an outfit to wear.

'Don't lie to me, Kusuo,' you knew he was lying, because you were his girlfriend for already quite some time. He didn't answer, so you assumed he was getting ready.

After a few minutes, he opened the door. As soon as he did, you hugged him really tightly. You eventually had to part from the hug. "Happy birthday!" you smiled at him and gave him your present.

He opened it and the first thing he saw was coffee jelly. His eyes lit up. "I swear you love coffee jelly more than me," you rolled your eyes. You felt a but stupid, since you were jealous over foos.

"Not true," he denied and you felt your heart skip a beat. You couldn't understand how he could say that so casually.

Kusuo smirked a tiny bit, so you won't notice, whilst reading your thoughts and continued looking through the bag. What he saw next made him chuckle.

When you heard his chuckle, your heart warmed up. He had been expressing his emotions more when he was with you.

"Seriously? Good grief," he said as he grabbed the thing he was chuckling at, a few seconds prior. It was a custom made chain, that had 'good grief' written on it.

"I hope the present is enough for you," you looked at the ground, feeling insecure again. He grabbed your waist and pulled you closer to him, and kissed your forehead, "It's amazing, really."

As if that action if his wasn't enough, the next thing he said, made your stomach explode with butterflies. "You look gorgeous in that dress," he complimented you. He loved seeing you flustered. He found it really cute.

You were done with the teasing, so grabbed his hand, so you could go to your destination. "I'm guessing you already know what's waiting for you?" you asked him, already knowing the answer. "Yeah," he answered.

"Then at least act surprised," you said, because knowing him, he wouldn't want to show any emotion around the others. "Too much of a bother," he said. "Pleaaase. For me?" you looked into his eyes with your pleading puppy (e/c) eyes.

"Fine," he sighed. You cheered happily and continued walking. You both finally reached your destination. Everyone was there waiting for you.

Kusuo honestly didn't want to be here. He'd rather be at home, but since you were there with him, he convinced himself that he could endure it.

After the party was finished, all of you went your separate ways. You were left walking with Kusuo. The sun was beginning to set.

Kusuo looked around, before asking you a question, "Do you want to go somewhere?" "Of course" He read your mind and took your hand. He teleported you both to a place upon a hill.

It was filled with soft grass, beautiful trees and bushes. There were a lot of pretty flowers. The sky was a mix of a lot of colours, patches of pink, dashes of orange, some yellow and a little bit of purple. You breathed in the fresh air in your lungs.

"The view is so beautiful, right?" you aksed Kusuo and turned your head to look at him. He wasn't looking at the view that was around, but he was looking at you, "Yeah, it really is."

You blushed and looked away. It sounded cliché, but actually hearing it from him was enough to take your breath away. Who knew he could be a huge romantic.

"I'm so lucky to have you, Kusuo," you finally looked back at him. "I'm more lucky to have you. You make me a better person, (y/n). I wish i hadn't kept denying my feelings for you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me," he pulled you into an embrace.

"Wow," was the only thing you could muster up to say. You were speechless. You stayed in his arms for a few more seconds, before he pulled back a bit. "Kusuo, i-," you couldn't even finish your sentence, since he pulled you into a kiss.

It wasn't your first with him, but it still felt very magical. His lips were really soft. You kept kissing, until you eventually needed to get some air.

He let you pull back. "I love you. I really do, (y/n)," he looked into your eyes and you looked into his. When he actually spoke, you knew he meant it with everything in him. Everything about him was magical.

You smiled, before pulling him into another kiss, "I really love you too, Kusuo."
