Shekki looks at Melvin who suddenly laugh while they are walking on the mountain path.

"Senior?" Shekki wryly smile. Half knowing what he is laughing about.

Melvin wipes the edge of his eyes and grins at her. "You made them really mad now. What will you do if they get revenge?"

Shekki smiles and bravely puff her chest. "I am Master's servant. I should have the dignity of that rank."

Melvin nods. "Well, I am sure they are not that stupid to antagonist you openly. But still, be careful."

Shekki nods. "Thank you,Senior."

"So what cultivation book did you get?"

"Actually, I don't know." She took the book in her hand and properly looks at it. "Illuminate shield....What's that?" She frowns.

"Well, you can learn it slowly later or maybe of lucky, ask Master." Melvin said.

"Okay." Shekki nods. She really doesn't care about offensive cultivation.

After arriving on the Master's abode, Melvin left while Shekki proceeds to the green house.

She took the book she left there yesterday and starts drawing the remaining herbs that she left yesterday.

There are names in every herb so it is easier for her to look it upon when she goes to the library.

Remembering how she antagonized a lot of girls just now, she smiles happily.

"Backer is really important. More important than cultivation." She said and put down the drawing book and starts reading the Illuminate shield guide book.

It is like the normal cultivation. But instead of pulling the mana around the air to put it in her core she have to put it in her hand and slowly coat something with the collected mana. If the mana is not enough to coat the thing it will fail and the mana will go back to the air. The more concentrated the mana, the more strength is the shield. It is like applying nail polish in your nail to protect the nail.

"That is a good one. Why is it in the first layer?"

After reading the book, it really is good enough for Shekki. Though Soul Shield (Mana ejecting out of the body to make a protective jelly out of the body) is more powerful than the Illuminating Shield, it is more practical. Soul Shield is an exhausting defensive mechanism. It is literally releasing the mana out of the body. It will protect you but just as long as you have remaining mana. While Illuminating Shield is a permanently applied shield. It doesn't need to resupply mana after applying it. It will remain intact as long as there are no stronger mana colliding on it. The exhaustion of mana will eventually happen gradually so its not really a permanent deal. Like nail polish, overtime, it needs to get replace but still it is mana effecient.

After trying it, Shekki learn why this is in the first floor. Just coating a small stone used an hour of her non stop cultivation.

Playing with the small stone she smiles. "It will not break,right?"

The stone is slightly glowing. After thinking she throws the small stone at the huge rock nearby.

It is not faster than normal, the rock travels the same speed as normal but upon contact the huge rock breaks into large pieces.

The small rock she throw rolls and the illumination disappear. After that, the small rocks turn into sand.

Shekki blinks looking at all the things that happens and then she stood up.

"I better prepare to cook for dinner." She said hurriedly.
