Elias left early.

Shekki sends him off because she wakes up early to prepare meal before she went to master's garden.

"Senior, have a safe trip." She said bowing her head.

Elias nods and left.

Lan went out his room. Seeing Lan, Shekki smiles at him

"Good morning Senior."

"Hm." Lan said and walks away.

By now, Shekki is already fine with it.

"Senior, do you want coffee or tea?"

Lately, she introduced coffee to the sweet lovers. Tea is nice but once in a while a change of taste is important.

"Coffee." Lan said and sits on the table. "But I'll get it after you serve the meal."

"Okay!" Shekki smiles and begun cooking a simple breakfast. Of course breakfast is those easy to cook frozen food. Bread and rice too. Some like bread better but master like rice more. To be honest, they don't need to eat by now. Their cultivation is too strong that they can eat once every year and there will be no side effects. Yet they ate like they are always hungry. She is happy though. It makes her feel important. So instead of just buying all ingredients online. She sometimes prepare food by making it herself. But not in the morning. She serve the food. The three starts eating.

"Why don't you join us?" Lan asks.

Shekki flinched. She smiles.

"I enjoy watching you all eat. I will eat later."

The three looks at her saying the same dialogue everytime they ask her to join them.

Shekki really likes staring at them.

It gives her more satisfaction and it is good to eat thinking how they all enjoyed eating the meal she cook for them.

She remember her Mom. It is funny.

"Ah. Master, is it alright to go down the mountain next month?"

"Why?" Gander asks and looks at Shekki.

Shekki smiles. "It's my father's birthday. He asks me if I can come back to celebrate."

"Your father is a noble?" Melvin asks. Noble people likes celebrating occassions like this and of course showing off to other people.

Shekki nods. "We are not high ranking noble but we have a bit of territory in the south. My fian--my former fiance also ask me to go down the mountain together."

It really is shocking for Shekki. Not only did Braddy come to disturb her, he send her a letter saying they can go down the mountain together.

Well, it is understandable that Braddy wants to make peace with her because she is now the head master's core disciple unlike in the novel that she stays in the outer sect.

She didn't agree to come with him until she hasn't asks her Master yet. It'll be crazy if her master gets mad.

"How long will you be gone?" Gander asks. He looks really serious but Shekki didn't see that.

"A week at most. If I can't, at least 3-4 days?" Shekki asks.

"I will think about it." Gander said and continue eating.

"You have a fiance?" Then Lan asks.

Shekki shakes her head. "It seems I am a loose woman so he annulled our engagement and get engaged with my younger sister." Shekki smiles wryly

"What is that about a loose woman?" Melvin frowns.

Shekki smiles. "It's a sibling's rivalry. It doesn't bother me now."

The three seriously looks at Shekki's unconcerned expression.

Shekki scartches her cheek. She doesn't intend to get sympathy. She just trying to passed it as a joke but she is also happy that they are looking concerned for her. Its a warm feeling.

Also the image of seeing Angeline seeing her laughing with Braddy as they both came down the mountain excites her. She doesn't want to be chummy or friends with Braddy but for the sake of pissing Angeline, she doesn't mind sacrificing a bit.
