Somewhere in the distant future.

Or maybe just a figment of her dream……….. .

After Shekki wins the right to cross the AfterLife Realm, she slowly opens her eyes.

It's been so long. She did her best to buy her memories so she won't forget. Everyday she struggles to survive and to remember. The reason why she fights her way back. Why she came back.

Shekki looks at her body. Free from deterioration, she looks like she just fell asleep and she is just waking up from a long sleep. Her bed was filled with colorful stones that probably protected her body from completely dying.

She smiles.

"I'm back." Tears slowly fell down her cheeks. She fought so hard. But the battle is not hers alone. Gander and the rest of Seniors must have been fighting for her sake too.

"I'm glad I didn't give up." She stood up but she staggered a bit. Her body has been dead for a long time. It doesn't listen to her completely. But she wanted to meet them. She wanted to see if she is really back or hallucinating. If this is just a dream...what would she do?

Even if she fell countless times, she continued to walk out of the cave. She saw the vast land of trees. This is not the Master's abode. Something must have happened.

'Shekki, I love you.'

Her heart raced a bit. She wanted to see him. The man that gave her those sweet words.

The man that kneeled and asked her hand for marriage. The man that has to wait for her to get revived.

'Master! Where are you…..'

"Gander!" Her voice echoed in the desolate forest. Her heart trembles.

She walks until she finds people chatting in the forest.

"Halt! Who are you? What are you doing in this place? This is a private property!"

"Sect…...You are from Thousand Freeters? I am a core disciple of Master Gander."

"Lies! We knew everyone under Master Gander! He doesn't have a female disciple!"

"That…." Shekki is shocked. Did she not get revived but time traveled?

"Wait. She is wearing the sect uniform!" The other female said. "Maybe she is a lost disciple."

"Hmp! Then why did you have to lie about Master Gander?"

"I have to see him." Shekki doesn't have any strength. If she does, these people pose no harm to her with her high cultivation.

"Master is a busy person. You think just anyone can visit him? Hurry. We will bring you to the sect."

Shekki realized that this place is not far from the sect. Maybe the cave where she is located was full of barriers but since Shekki is unaffected by barriers, Gander still doesn't know that she is back?

Shekki sighs.

It's been a while so she felt that everything changes. Even the new disciple doesn't remember her anymore. How long did she die? She spent 10 years in the AfterLife Realm but resurrection seems to be a longer process. It's not like resurrection is an easy feat but she still did. This is the power of her love.

They finally arrive in the sect. They just entered the gate when all the disciples made a ruckus.

"Elder Orbit and Elder Melvin are coming! They are coming!" They all giggled and cheered.

"Elders?" Shekki tried to watch but was pulled away by the other disciples.

Some tough looking disciples come to greet the two Elders.

Shekki gasps as she covers her mouth. Tears can't help but fell down.

"Senior…..Senior! SENIORS!" She shouted. Trying to run toward them despite the crowd hindering her.

"What's up with this woman?"

"Gaah! She pushes me!"

"Shut up! What are the ruckus all about? Do you want me to sever your heads?" Orbit angrily snaps at them.

"Elder, it is this woman."

The crowd parted away. The woman was crying as she was pushed to the ground.

"You? Raised your head!" Orbit shouted.

Shekki shakes her head. She can't.

"This woman."

"Wait!" Melvin stops Orbit. "Woman, raised your head."

Shekki smiles as she wipes her eyes.

"You never changes Senior Orbit, Senior Melvin."

The two faces started breaking in to daze and tears

"I….I'm back." She smiles trying to grin as tears burst.

"Shek--SHEKKI!" The two Elders ran to hug her.

Her hair is longer now. She is thinner again.

How many years did they wait for her to return? Is there any hope that she will really return? The fear of watching Shekki's body drained by life year after year was painful.

"Finally," Orbit wanted to see her face. He parted her hair and looked at her but his eyes were filled with tears. Her image blurred how much he wipes the tears.

Melvin grasps her hand kissing it. He keeps feeling her wrist. That thumping sound, that pulse, he wanted to make sure that it is real. That she is really breathing and alive. That she is finally back.

Shekki hugs and kisses their cheeks, their hands. Thanking them, missing them. It is not enough with words. She wanted to be more...more..

Orbit released a spell and made it rise in the air. Blooming like a firework in the early light.

Elias and Lan rush as they see the signal.

Lan and Elias slowly froze as their speed slowed down. Watching a thinner Shekki, moving, smiling, grinning, like she used to. How many years…? It's been a hundred years. One hundred years, to wait for her return, but it is still special.

Shekki was hugged tighter by Elias. He cups her cheek. Check her pulse. Kisses her forehead.

"Are you Shekki?"

"Yes Sir!" Shekki sniffs and answers.

"Good. Good." Elias kisses her forehead again hugging her.

Elias gave way for Lan. Lan trembles as he hugs her.

Shekki hugs him too.

"I'm…..I'm so mad at you…" Lan said breaking down from the tears. "How dare you die…...How dare you….."

"I'm sorry. I'm back.." Lan wipes her face and kisses her cheek.

"Thank Goodness….Yes….Thank Goodness." He said hugging her and rubbing her back.

Shekki's eyes move to the man crying and frozen in front of them. Still wearing his viel in his face.

"I want to see your face. My love." Shekki raised her hand smiling at him.

The veil flies away without being removed. Gander is crying behind that veil. For a hundred of years. "I keep you waiting…" She smiles.

Lan steps aside as Gander slowly takes her hand and hugs her tighter.

"This time….You can't die without me." He said as he kissed her lips.

Shekki rubs his face and smiles. "I'm back. I fight for us."

"Me too." Gander smiles and their forehead pressed together.

She doesn't want anything else. She didn't regret choosing to come back to this life. With her future husband and her Seniors. She is satisfied. She believes that this is the perfect ending for her.
