When Cole look at his direction for long time with sharp gaze, he knew that his superb stealth skills have no use for him. Whispering, he muttered, "Interesting..." and he reveal himself.

Cole already have his guard all up the moment he read the given description of obscured equipment. Still, he was caught off guard by the new person, not because he look extremely ugly as he thought but the exact opposite instead!

The newly revealed young man, exactly the one who holds that overpowered ghost flag, was the exact example of devilish handsome man!

It's no wonder people said that a villian was as handsome as male leads, if not higher!

However, it was due to the man's extreme beautifulness that makes Cole more guard up. One should know that in nature's rules, the more beautiful the creature was the deadlier they are! Add to the fact that the other one holds a very powerful demonic artifact.

He already anticipated this kind of scenario, after all, even him will think that there's a very precious item born when a simultaneous tribulation happen. This man's presence was no surprise for him.

Trying to sound as normal as possible, he ask the young man, "What do you want?" Cole even try not to look at the flag the man holds.

The young man look at Cole for a whole second before smiling beautifully, that if he don't have an ounce of idea about this man's identity, he'll think that he's innocent as he smiles.

"Me? What do I want?" The man wonders with playful tone as he look at Cole in the eyes straight.

The devilish, handsome young man inhale deeply as though he smell a very addictive fragrance. He even licked his lips seductively before opening his eyes and look at Cole again, "I want you."

The young man, as though he's a ghost himself, walks in the air and started to shorten the distance between him and Cole, "You have the most pure soul I have ever encounter. It smells extremely satisfying..."

No matter how pleasing the other party to his eyes, Cole still can't help but step back when he looks at him with his pervert gaze.

After seeing the Netherworld Ghost Flag, despite being damaged and downgraded to Holy-Rank, Cole could still see that this devilishly handsome man should be someone important, probably the same status as Lady Scarlet of Holy Beast Mountain.

Although [Atmospheric Barrier] don't have powerful defensive abilities but more like sealing abilities, it was still better than nothing knowing that the person in front of him was a ruthless kind. His kind won't be called demonic cultivator for nothing.

However, after erecting the [Atmospheric Barrier], the pervert smile of the man vanished and look at Cole with sharp gaze. He knew that his supposed to be invisible barrier was seen through.

Seeing that peace have fallen and the other party was readying to attack, Cole also don't reserve anything and call [Summoning Grimoire] and use [Protect]. Facing tricky opponents like ghost should always be fully defended upon.

Meanwhile, Baldy, the artifact spirit of Purifying Evil Radiance Orb, said inside Cole's head, "Master, the specialty of ghost are soul attacks and possessing the targets body. With me here protecting your [Soul Sea], those ghost should be nothing to fear of."

It was then he remember the presence of Baldy inside his [Soul Sea]. With him there, he should be alright from the attacks of those malicious ghosts.

Still, everything will be for naught if he don't have a way to defeat this opponent. And so, he ask Baldy, "Do you know a way to defeat this guy?"

Baldy is an artifact spirit mainly used by buddhist cultivators, he should have many experience on facing this kind of opponent. He should know the great way to defeat those demonic path cultivators.

"Defeating this guy should be easy for you, Master. Ghosts are yin creatures, and the lightning are the greatest bane of them and your silver lightning is even more since it have a trace of Life-Force. However, killing him will be hard, after all, with the presence of Netherworld Ghost Flag, that notorious artifact, his life will be easy to preserve. Not to say that with his own status, he should have other way to protect his life."

In short, they could only repel this man's advance and not totally stop him which is bad. Very bad. This means that he can't reveal anything that could incite the other's greed, for instance, the Divine-Rank artifact inside his Sea of Consciousness. Or else, this man's ally will hunt him with them, which will be bad for him who have limited strength. And knowing the other party, it was Baldy's abilities that have the greatest effect to those yin creatures called ghost.

Meanwhile, the eerie fog released by Netherworld Ghost Flag gets thicker and thicker, and the flicker of blurred silhouette have also become frequent, which is probably the ghosts of the cursed artifact.

Most of the transparent body Cole could see possess a clothing usually wore by cultivators, those malicious ghosts is probably the soul of the opponents they defeated, refined and turn into their vicious weapon. Those flashing silhouettes, the ghosts, have one thing in common, they have a very ferocious expression, signifying their power and scariness. Cole don't know the reason why, perhaps those ghosts are also seperate creatures like Elementals of Spirit Race, but he could feel and see the deep deprivation of those ghosts. They want to break free from the shackles that binds them from that place of continuous torment and tortures...

Cole wants to help those poor souls but before he could do that, he have to make sure to live first from those ghosts incoming assualts. He don't know how long those ghosts prison from that flag of death but the individual strength of those vicious soul is very powerful compare to him. He only see an small amount of ghosts from that fog but all of them have a strength equivalent to not less than Tier-5; and his own strength was just Tier-4 in standard!

And that Netherworld Ghost Flag have a city of ghosts inside! He don't want to think of how many powerful ghosts is hidden inside.

Guarding from upcoming hidden assaults of those ghosts, he immediately adds a second cover to his body with electromagnetic field using Blue's [Magnetic Fur] through [Soul Mimicry]. Instantly, as though his body hairs are the fur, it emits an electromagnetic field that covers an area around him.

"Hehehe..." A strange laugh sounds from the thick fog, "Surprisingly, your defense techniques are very powerful for nonphysical creatures and attacks like my ghosts, specially that electromagnetic domain. It's a pity that your base strength is to weak... My slaves, attack!"

The moment the devilish man command the ghosts to attacks, the thin fog that covers him vanish and return back to the flag and a clear but phantom form of ghost city could be seen floating at the top of Netherworld Ghost Flag, and a huge crowd of ghost could be seen floating near it. Now, those ghost is not a blurred silhouette anymore and their form as a human could be clearly seen, however... most of them have different kind of lethal injuries in their body. There were some who have missing limbs, a mutilated face and likes, and many more that normal human can't stomach. The sight is more than enough to cause a weak willed person to acquire a trauma of their life.

But second later, Cole started to shake and not because of fear but because of what he's currently seeing...

The status of people could be easily tell through the clothes they wore. It's just like what the saying said, a clothe make a man. Those with high status wore a clothes that corresponds with their hierarchical level and those commoners wore plain clothes, just like those people from Forest Edge Village.

And right now, Cole could see that almost half of the ghosts hurrying into him to attack wore a cloth worn by commoners...

The life of normal humans in this world run by power and fist could only be said in one word; tragic. They receive suppression from people of higher hierarchy and they don't have any power to resist, they only have one choice, endure.

And since he basically he live half of his life as a normal human back from planet Earth, he knew what powerless, normal humans feel.

To think that they were killed mercilessly and were even refined into malicious, vengeful ghost... Unforgivable!

Rage was filling Cole's whole body at that moment but he suddenly felt like he was poured with bucket of cold water on what he saw in the next moment...

Among the crowd of ghosts that is approaching him to attack, there was a little boy estimated to be five year old snarling as it float towards him...

There's a child among those crowd of ghosts... After seeing it, it dawn to him that this devilishly handsome man definitely massacre a whole village, if not city or town, of normal human, and it was only normal to have a children among them...

Killing a normal human... Killing an innocent child...
