It is true that both Cole and Celia can't do anything to Levi if he decided to hide like a turtle inside the Ghost City. Not to say about the defense of the whole city itself, the ghosts living inside is also one of the threat of the place.

Cole don't want to think of how many powerful ghosts inside the [Ghost City] but it should be not something he can contend for now. In fact, it was already fortunate that those ghosts was restricted by the Netherworld Ghost Flag itself and can't leave the domain of the [Ghost City] or everyone in this dungeon, including the sentient herbs and beasts, will be killed alone by single powerful ghosts from the equipment.

But if they leave this man and explore once again, Cole could already imagine the outcome of he meets another cultivator. There is only one outcome, everyone will be killed.

But if they remain here and guard Levi to make him stay inside for the rest of the time, he will miss all the opportunities he can find inside this secret realm. Suddenly, he remember about Baldy's plan, use its skill [Edifying Light]. Perhaps the said skill is easy to dodge which makes Baldy said to cast it in surprise but it will be different if the target remain on one place. He makes himself an easy target.

But this is on the premise that the skill can pierce through, or bypass, the [Ghost City]'s defense.

Thinking that his thought is feasible, he immediately relax his mind, enter into his Sea of Consciousness and control the floating ball of light. After he made a secure connection with Purifying Evil Radiance Orb, he casted its skill, [Edifying Light].

Immediately, Cole's body emitted a strong light radiance. On one look, it looks like it was the same as the light produce by [Purifying Light] but in fact, it was vastly different. The difference could not be tell by normal creatures but not with the ghosts on the distance.

After the light reached and shine on the [Ghost City], the Malicious Ghosts that was submerged and fighting on the [Moat of Despond] all stopped and look at the source of the light. And as terrifying as they look aesthetically, they all look have the same relax expression. It was as though they could feel that the light could cleanse their bad deeds and save them from that torturous experience.

Of course, its not only the ghosts from the [Most of Despond] could feel the relaxing wave brought by the light. Even those behind and inside the towering castle walls could feel it.

And seconds later, almost of the ghosts living inside have gone out of their hiding and all float towards the air.

Levi immediately felt the strange movements of his slaves. Curious, he stand up from the luxurious bed he's been lying on and look outside the window and when he saw and felt the ray of light, despite the comfort it brought, fear enveloped both his mind and body.

This light... He might not have ounce of idea what it was, his instincts told him that it was something to be feared about! It waa as though that very skill was made for the likes of him!

Most probably... This light was the legendary light that can ‘convert’ demonic cultivator to righteous cultivator!

According to legend, there were a lost buddhist technique that could make a demonic cultivator into someone no different from being a slave. Immediately, those battling ghosts from [Moat of Despond] stack with each other and creates a frightening ghost wall. Its apparent that to stop those weak ghosts from entering the [Ghost City] through floating, there's a restriction that prevent it. Which is why those ghosts don't have any other choice but to create a wall of them.

However, the moment that ball of light near the wall of ghosts, they were immediately burned which creates a thick smoke. The ghosts try to fill the created hole but the moment they reached a certain distance from the ball of light, they will get burned instantly.

With the inferior strength of the ghosts from [Moat of Despond], it wasn't before long and it enter the towering walls of the [Ghost City]. But those ghosts near the walls also don't last even a single second upon being exposed by the ball of light.

Seeing that the ghosts itself can't block the ball of light using their 'body', Levi immediately commanded, "Use attacks to disperse that ball of light!"

Then, like a drops of rain water, numerous difference attacks poured towards that ball of light. However, as though those attacks are directed towards the sun, it was burned rapidly, not even have a chance to reach the ball of light itself.

"Evade that light!" Levi shouted from inside the haunted castle.

The ball of light was just on the edge of the [Ghost City] where the weak population of ghosts gather, it was only normal that those ghosts can't disperse the said light. But it should not be the same if it arrives more deeper, specially in the center. After all, the deeper it was inside the [Ghost City], the more powerful the ghosts are, just like how hierarchy system works.

If a person familiar with the technique [Edifying Light] is here, they will immediately think that this small of light was more special than the normal kind. It was because [Edifying Light] don't have the ability to burn soul, or nonphysical creatures like ghosts.

The reason why this [Edifying Light] can burn weak ghosts was because it was casted by Baldy, the Purifying Evil Radiance Orb. The said equipment are made from an eyeball of True-Rank Beast Golden Sun Crow and core of Sun, which is an item with extreme Yang attributes. The [Edifying Light] casted by Baldy carry this attributes and its very deadly for Yin creatures like ghosts.

When the [Edifying Light] cover a certain distance, volley of attacks will fall into it, however, if don't produce any ideal effect as it was immediately dispersed by the ball of light.

Seeing this, Cole and Celia looks very amazed while Baldy, who should've an always carefree attitude, looks smug and his head looks shining more brightly than normal.

"Since its so effective, why not cover the whole city with that kind of light?" Celia ask, thinking that they will win if they did so.

"You're a Divine Dragon so you should know that something as powerful and sophisticated technique like that needs more power to casts. Don't say about covering the whole city with [Edifying Light], I can't even cast more than ten of it before I drain my reserves!" Baldy exclaimed through their soul connection of his master Cole.

The said certain technique might look like a small ball of light upon casted but the truth is it contains a different techniques at once. For instance, it contains the truth about [Light of Enlightenment], [Soul Purification], [Memory Erasing] and many more. Casting just one of those technique already needs a huge amount of Energy and after casting different techniques at once, it was draining even for him who's a Divine Artifact with huge Energy reserves.

In fact, casting just one of [Edifying Light] needs ten days before he can recover, which is on the premise that he's inside Cole's Sea of Consciousness. But if he's outside, he could absorb the energy of the sun and spiritual energy in the surrounding and can recover in half a day.

"Yes. But eventhough Netherworld Ghost Flag is currently damaged, only spatial skills casted by Mortal Emperor can enter directly inside the [Ghost City]. If it will be casted by you, you have to use an spatial item with not lower than Divine-Rank..." At first, though confused, Baldy answered truthfully but later on, it dawn to him that Cole both have an spatial skill space folding and the very well known item by him, the True-Rank Ethereal Space Crystal!

Immediately, he also felt excited himself! Someone who wields an significant equipment like Netherworld Ghost Flag is very important disciple of Poltergeist Cult!

"Cast another [Edifying Light]!" Cole commanded while he holds the floating Summoning Grimoire.

And when a ball of light appear floating on top of his hand, he silently chanted, "[Gate]."

In less than a second, a spatial passage as big as ring appear in front of Cole and the it was not yet fully formed when he flick the ball of light towards that forming gate. And as calculated, the spatial passage fully formed and the ball of light cross it.

Inside the haunted castle, Levi didn't felt the spatial fluctuation when the passage formed, he only felt the sudden emergence of very pure light that can actually inflicts damage to him. He was caught off guard. What's more, it appears inches away from the back of his head and it was only after it almost touch his hair that he managed to react and escape from the sudden attack, even utilizing the superior speed of ghosts using his special physique.

But it was too late! Eventhough he managed to react, the small ball of light is already touching his head and was about to enter the back of his head!

Only, when it was about to succeed, the temperature inside the specific room drops and a thin wall of ice appear at Levi's back, blocking the ball of light. Although the small ball of light immediately bore in the thin ice, it gave Levi a chance to distance himself.

When the latter felt the change of temperature in the room and another presence, he immediately commanded loudly, "Block that light for me!" Although the newly arrived ghosts should be powerful since it could enter the premise of haunted castle, Levi don't care what happen even if its killed as long as he save himself. He could just refine another powerful ghosts!

And inside his head, he can't help but cursed, "F*ck! Space folding?!"

Upon receiving a command, a woman appear at Levi's back and block the ball of light using her own body. The newly appeared woman, who's face was covered with her hair, didn't burn to ashes when she's touched with the ball of light which indicates her powerful strength. However, she immediately shriek in pain and clutch her head.

But no one paid her a mind, specifically Levi. She was writhing in agony and distance herself from the other which is what Levi wants.

"Master, create another passage inside the castle!" Baldy said hurriedly inside Cole's head.
