Eight months later, it was now a harvesting season.

The whole village was in good mood, you can even feel a festive aura radiating from the villagers. They were all smiles.

By now, both Cole and Bell was like a celebrity in front of the villagers. Everytime the villagers saw Cole and Bell, they will smile and ask them to eat at their home tonight which he always politely decline.

Cole was now the hunter of the village. Everyday, he will hunt some Wild Beast inside the Dark Forest. However, his hunt sometime can't be consumed by Ricky's family only and so to avoid the food spoilage, the excess was given by the villagers.

At first, he only hunts some boars, sometime later, he even hunt some wolves until finally, he even hunt some tigers. Still, all of them range from Tier 1 to Tier 2 beast.

Cole's cultivation finally reached the peak of Mana Gathering Stage. He recovered, if not exceed, his cultivation now before he died. However, he was still clueless about the process of breakthrough to Core Formation Stage which is why he was still stucked at Mana Gathering at this time.

He can ask them where the city was but he doesn't do it. That is because he likes it here. He even want to stay here and never travel this world. But he dismissed that idea. He knows that he have a brighter future ahead and he won't let it rot here in this village.

One of the reasons Cole didn't want to leave yet was becuase he wants to helps the villagers, especially Ricky's family. He know how hard villagers life is base on the memories of the owner of his current body.

Today was the day the villagers will harvest their crops and this year was special since they have Cole, specifically, Bell. Their expected yield this now was almost doubled, if not more.

Bell released occasionally a Wood Aura which help the crops to grow more both in quantities and qualities. That is why Cole and Bell were like celebrities here.

The villagers even call them the 'village blesser'. Cole can't help bit laughed at the terminology that was given to them. Still, no matter how bad the term was, he was thankful.

Two days later, the harvest was finished. And as expected, their yield was doubled. The whole village can't even express how thankful they was. So as a celebration, for both the harvest and Cole, there was a gathering that will happen tonight. Cole just smiled and nod. He can, at most will stay here for another three days and he will leave along with the caravan that will go to the city. He don't even know if he will come back with them.

So, for him, the party was also a parting party.

Cole now arrived in front of Ricky's home. Unlike the dilapidated house before, the building almost looks new. He even help when Richard renovated the house. There were even some ordinary-looling grass in the house surrounding. Ofcourse it was special since Cole was the one who plants that grass.

If not for his Heavenly Eyes, he won't even know that the grass was nothing but special. He also plant some fruit bearing tree and it was still a sapling now.

The door of the house opened and Ricky's figure appear in front of him.

"Brother Cole, your home." Ricky said and smile then also smile too.

The short, malnourished Ricky was now long gone. The figure in front of him now has more meat, and some even muscles, compare to before. He was now eight years old and his height was now on Cole's shoulder.

Cole can't help but felt depressed about this as few years from now, Ricky's height will be the same as him. But Cole doesn't lose hope as he was still fifteen years old this year, and his birthday was next month, so he have some years to developed height.

"Yes, I'm home." Cole replied while Ricky arrived in his front and hug him. Cole smiled as Ricky always like to hug him.

"Let's go inside." He spoke and started yo walk inside the house and Ricky in tow.

Cole arrived inside the house. Even the interior also looks new. Even the table and chairs has some glow now compare to dull looking things before.

Richard, who was sitting in the near the table, smile at him at beckon him to sit down near him and Cole followed.

"The village chief decided to go to the city tommorow for the harvest will arrive there as fresh as possible." Richard spoke while Cole nodded.

"That's a good plan." Cole agreed to what Richard said.

There was a silence in the table. Margaret then serve the lunch on the table while Cole was trying to dust Ricky's face when he see some dirt.

"Are you... Tommorow?" Asked Richard moments later.

Cole looked at Richard's worried face, then nod minutes later. Richard let out a long sighed then smile.

"Then let's eat." Richard said with fake excitement. Margaret just smile too while Ricky nod happily.

Then the lunch was finished with silence.

Night later, the gathering happened.

All the villagers was at the square at the middle of village. A bonfire was in the middle while numbers of torches is in different places and also helps to lighten the place.

Different kinds of delicacies and fruits was served near the bonfire while the villagers happily ate the dishes. The childrens was also eating at the other side with Bell, of course Bell was not eating.

It was a celebration. Different kinds of dishes was in Cole's plate given by different people. Every household put one kind of dish or slice of fruit in or near Cole's plate. Cole was already full was he was trying to stuff all the food as thankful gesture for the villagers.

Half an hour later, all the villagers was circling the bonfire.

"This year is a blessing. Our harvest was doubled and was all thanks to Cole and Bell's help." The village chief said loudly at the crowd. "This whole village thank you. We thank you." He continued.

"We thank you!" All the villagers said in unison. Ricky appear in front of him smiling and hug him.

Cole smile and said, "Your welcome." Even Bell let out a sound.

"Now we end this gathering as most of us will travel tommorrow first thing in the morning." The village chief said. All of the villagers nod their head and started to disperse.

Moments later, sounds of running horse suddenly rang out in the village and the whole village panic.

There is no city officials will travel this time of the day which means that the arriving party was something else. It was the bandits!

Thanks to Bell, their harvest doubled. But not only that, their harvesting time was also a head for full one weak before the expected harvesting time. Yet the bandits know them and they don't have time to prepare.

All the woman, elderly and children hides to their hiding place while the mens bid for time.

It was all too sudden. Before, they can prepare some emergency stocks and hide them somewhere safe then hide when the bandits arrived. But they were too early this year that they can't even bring a grain of rice with them. If they happen to pass this calamity safely, their lives was still not sure. Bandits will take all their foods without sparing to the villagers. They will die of hunger in the future.

"Boss, it's looks like we're lucky this year as we have our yield doubled this year." One of the pirates said as if they were the one to plant and harvest the crops. However, the pirate feel dejected as the boss doesn't even spare him a glance.

The scarface man with hideous appearance has his eyesight focusing at the glowing green light beside the fifteen year old boy. When he saw the creature, he knows that it was one of the rare Elemental Beasts. Yet, when he examined the creature, it was different to the Tier 2 Elemental Beast that he saw before. The one in front of him almost has a crystallized body, he was puzzled and think deeply. Seconds later, a knowledge emerge. He heard that Elemental Creatures who advance to Tier 3 will have their body crystallized, then realization came to him. The one in front of him was advancing to Tier 3 Stage!

A greed flashed in the scarface man. Tier 2 Elementals was precious, what more a peak Tier 2 Elementals. If he can have the creature, it was equivalent to five years worth of his income.

Despair and helplessness rose from every villagers' men. They know this bandit group, they were called Scarface Bandits named from their leader with a scar on his face.

All of the bandits member were all cultivators. They were just ants in front of them. Yet, resolve can be seen at their faces. They were doing this for their old parents, wife, or their daughter and son.

"Hand over that Elemental and I will not bother this village ever again." The bandit leader said minutes later.

When the bandit members heard what their boss just said, their eyes flashed with greed. Indeed, Elementals were more precious than all the harvested crops in front of them.

When the villagers heard what the bandit leader said, their face goes ghostly pale.

Bell was their benefactor, as Cole is. They can't just forgot all the things the both of them do for them. Their body started to get meat and muscles again and their family looks more healthier than ever, even moreso to their sons and daughters.

Richard bravely step forward and spoke, "We can't hand her over to you. In exchange, we will let you have all the harvested crops here as payment."

Anger flashed in the bandit leader's eyes when he heard what Richard just said.

"That is not for you to decide." The bandit leader spoke in monotonic voice.

He unstrapped the lance from his back, aim and shot it at Richard.

Clang!

The lance collided with something. The unamuse face of bandit leader suddenly brighten up.

It's getting interesting.

The happening was all too fast for the villagers to follow. They only heard a clanging sound and saw Cole in front of Richard. A book appear in front of him and act as a shield.

Joy emerged at the villagers face but dread can be felt from their heart. If not for Cole, they'll probably all going to die today.

Eventhough it was all too fast for the villagers to follow the lance speed, it was like a moving turtle - no, not a moving turtle as Shelly was surely more faster than the lance, - moving sloth in front of him. Although the lance was just a mortal-rank weapon, he was still not sure if his flesh can block it, so he used the Summoning Grimoire as a shield.

Summoning Grimoire was just a book, nevertheless, it was still a Heaven-rank weapon and can't be damage from some mortal weapon.

When the bandit leader saw the book, his greed intensified. It can even be a Earth-rank weapon if not Sky-rank weapon. Who says that he can encounter this kind of treasure here?

"Charge!" The bandit leader shout and commanded at his minions.

Cole removed the book in front of him and smiled evilly at the at the bands of bandit.

"Since you intended to kill us all, I'll kill all of you." Cole said full of killing intent.

The book open itself in front of them and heard, "Summon, Armored Demon Treant!" An evil looking tree-like creature appear!

The presence of something unknown was always dreadful. You don't know what to expect!

The bandits advance stopped and when the tree open it's red, menacing eyes, the bandits hesitated and stepped back

The bandit leader gritted his teeth in anger when he see his minions stopped. He was preparing to advance himself when he heard,

"Groot, use Root Spikes and kill all of them. Except the leader, use Wood Constrict on him, he have some use." Cole's commands.

Groar!

Groot roared while his roots burrows to the ground and travel fast.

The bandits was already intimidated by both the appearance and cry and seeing the unknown happen, they're ready to flee.

Seconds later, roots emerged below the one of the nearest bandits and punctured his body.

Seeing the state their companion was, the bandits felt afraid and when they heard a shout "run" , it was like a signal and the bandits started to scatter and escape. Unfortunately, they can't outrun Groot's roots and, thus, was all killed within two minutes.

The twenty men bandit group was suddenly reduced to only one, the unfortunate Scarface bandit leader.
