After hearing what the sickly man said, it dawn to Cole that the three demonic sect cultivator targets Gu Xi. It seems that the latter had more secret than he anticipated.

While the demonic sect cultivators attack the light barrier—the corpse puppet attack it with the weapon they hold or just their own body if they don't had any, the eerie ghosts attack with their loud, screeching cry and their ghostly claws while the disciples of Blood Demon's Creed use their own blood as their weapon—and got blocks by it, the attacks of those who are inside suprisingly bypass the barrier, get through it and hit those who are outside. The others help Gu Xi to repel those demonic cultivators.

However, most of the righteous cultivators had varying degree of injuries. Some can still continue on attacking while the others can only lay on the ground and try to recover from their grave injury. There were many who shows sign of rotting in their body, most probably the works of Corpse Refining Sect while some either had pale face or bleeding from their seven orifice.

The scale of the battle sides with the demonic cultivators. In comparison, demonic cultivators have thirty five people and all of them are still attacking the light barrier while the other side had forty people but only thirty of them can attack. The enemies still looks energetic while the righteous side already looks tired and haggard.

In just a second, the area around the coffin turns barren and devoid of life.

In just a glance, one could tell that the corpse puppet inside is very powerful.

The demonic cultivators side immediately smile while the other side turns grave.

They are already struggling with just the normal disciples and the other released their another card.

With grave expression, the team leader of Cold Jade Palace disciple brought out a very familiar ice bead and hurls it towards the luxurious coffin. It was apparent that she intends to seal the coffin with ice.

Its nails was painted red while the edges was coated with murky green color which is actually a Corpse-Poison. It only needs a single scratch and a Peak Nascent Soul-Stage will be turned into mindless zombie.

Moments later, the corpse puppet finally reveal itself. As predicted, it was a woman, however, she was scantily dressed that only those private parts being covered. Her lips was also painted with red lipstick which further adds to her seductive appearance.

The bizzare thing about this corpse puppet was its eyes was being block with red cloth. It seems that its owner was trying to hide its dead, murky eyes. In any case, zombie puppet don't need its eyes as it uses its ability to sense life force and vitality of its target to attack.

However, it was actually this ability that it don't attack the light barrier but flew to the air and slash as though the enemy was there!

Of course, it was the position of Cole's party!

[Void Stealth] was very powerful hiding ability that even a normal Peak Void Sensing-Stage cultivators won't be able to find it. However, Cole just recently acquire his new special physique and Martial Spirit. Others might not be able to sense his overflowing vitality and life force but it was different for those who master it like the corpse puppet!

The first corpse puppet he encounter don't attack him like this woman corpse puppet because it was just a normal kind and its Master had absolute control over it. But it was different with this woman corpse puppet.
