Cole can't help but look at the Poison Cloud Lion in surprise. It wasn't because of the vast difference between Tier-4 and Tier-5 Beast, which was being clearly shown at the moment, but because the soundwave produced by the latter actually carries a poison!

He literally felt for a second that a very powerful poison pass through his soul when he heard the lion's cry!

Cole immediately shifted his attention and look at the whole scene. Fortunately, other than being somewhat intimidated with the majestic aura released by the Tier-5 Poison Cloud Lion, his allies didn't show any sign of discomfort.

However, it wasn't the same with their enemies. In addition to their pale faces, they also show a pained expression, which literally say it all.

Perhaps if he needs to give an analogy, it takes a very talented and powerful ten Peak Tier-4 Beast to take down a Tier-5 Beast with just a 10% chance of winning.

After all, every major breakthrough gaves a massive improvement.

Just like the Poison Cloud Lion, perhap it picks from their soul contract, the Ferghana Horse also don't target Cole's allies. This time, the massive fireball was targeted to the cluster of ghosts that was making their way towards Bell!

The moment the fireball touch the first ghost, it immediately exploded! It creates a powerful force and creates a powerful wind which temporarily stops the battle.

Every cultivators was aware of it so they'd be able to make themselves steady. However, it wasn't the same with mindless corpse puppets which was immediately push back by the powerful momentum and it also includes the remaining floating ghosts in the air.

Sharp cry of pain was heard from the place of explosion. It was the cry of the dying ghost which was burned to death by the special fire. Not only the said fire contains the force of [Combustion Concept] comprehended by the Ferghana Horse, it also contains a small trace of Phoenix Fire, which waa more effective on killing Yin Creatures like ghosts.

There were some fortunate ghosts that there still a distance away from the place of explosion and miraculously live. However, the moment the fire touches them, even if its just an ember, the fire spread like a malignant disease!

It was one of the effect of [Combustion Concept] called [Incinerate]! Its fire will use affected target's everything as a fuel to continuously burn! That is to say, unless the target could suppress the fire, it will burn continuously until the target waa reduced to ash and there's nothing to burn anymore!

Those so called fortunate ghost was actually more unlucky since they were tortured by fire instead of dying instantly.

The paled face of pale disciples of Poltergeist Cult became pallid even more. Those Peak Tier-4 Ghosts were refined using their blood and soul, their connection runs deep. Now that those ghosts were killed, a part of them vanished too. Along with the backslash they recieved, the damage they recieved were quite heavy.

Their capabilities were basically reduced to half!

They were already on the losing side the moment those beasts appear on the battlefield. With the lose of those ghosts too, their winning rate plummets even more!

While the other side were having more and more reinforcement! They could even recover with the assistance of both spirits and sentient plants!

The second-in-command disciple of Corpse Refining Sect raise his head and look at the giant turtle floating in the air... For Corpse Puppet, battling a ghost are like a swordman battling a river, they won't be to kill it without more superior level!

And since the ghost could still occupied the seductive Corpse Puppet, it was apparent that their level wasn't different or far from one another. And that is a bad news for the Corpse Puppet.

Left with no choice, he could only face his temporary ally and said with serious tone, "Release your own powerful ghost!"

The leaders of their respective team won't leave them behind without some sort of trump card. Just like him, who had a Peak Tier-8 Corpse Puppet, the others should also have their own hidden weapon!

The second-in-command lady of Poltergeist Cult contemplates for a second before she realized that it was now a time to release their own secret weapon! Besides, their sides lose a huge amount of their ghosts caused by the fireball!

She then took out an antique looking mirror from her robe. If one look at the said mirror, one won't see their own reflection but just a piece of glass full of darkness. From time to time, a cheerful giggle of baby could be heard faintly and sometimes clearly.

However, despite the happy sound, one could feel cold upon hearing those baby laughter.

The said mirror was actually an equipment that caged a very powerful ghost. It was due to the mirror that those with weak cultivation could use it but the price one had to pay was heavy!

The lady closed her eyes tightly while holding the antique mirror and send a huge chunk of her Soul-Energy. Immediately, the pitch black color of the mirror lighten slightly and vague silhouette of woman holding a baby covered with blanket could be seen.

Later on, she started to chant lowly with slightly hoarsed voice. What she's chanting was incomprehensible but the one who would hear it would feel cold all over their body and soul.

Halfway through her chant, black smoke rise from the mirror which immediately gather in the air and covers an small area. If one look carefully at those black smoke, one could tell that it somehow resemble a cluster of hairs...

But suddenly, she open her eyes, which was laced with shock and fear, and a trickle of blood flowing down from her mouth!

"No!" The second-in-command disciple of Corpse Refining Sect who was suppose to be guarding the said lady exclaimed in shock too due to the sudden appearance of someone and successfully injure the one he's guarding.

He wants to launch himself toward the lady in hope of salvaging the situation but when he saw how grave her injury was, which was having a gaping hole in her chest her heart literally missing, he knew that she was done for!

With very thick sign of fear, the said lady look down to her missing chest. She try to raise her head once more but the clarity of her eyes, along with her vitality, was fastly vanishing. She plops down to the ground and die few seconds later!

Just like the Corpse-Energy cultivated by the Corpse Refining Sect, the Yin-Energy emitted by ghosts also do some negative damage to human's living body. The so called Ghost-Energy, to be specific, corrupt souls as well as the livings vitality. Although the vitality and life force being drained by the Ghost-Energy is not as powerful as Corpse-Energy, it could gradually infect soul. If not being treated, there's a high chance that a ghost energy cultivator will become crazy.

When that happens, the host actually enter a mad state and vulnerable state. Most of time, the ghost they refine steal that chance to possess that body.

That is to say, although the demonic cultivation is powerful and scary, the backslash the cultivator recieved too are quite harsh.

When the lady fall to the ground, her blood was flowing from it and creates a pool.

It was only then the killer fully reveal himself.

The moment the latter saw the lady brought the antique mirror, his [Heavenly Eyes] already told him what it was and everything that it could do.

For instance, it was the same as the token and the luxurious coffin the second-in-command disciple of Corpse Refining Sect which is summoning a Tier-8 creature like the seductive Corpse Puppet but this one was a ghost.

To be specific, the ghost sealed inside was called Ghost Mother.

According the basic information given by the [System] as well as Baldy's, Ghost Mother was a ghost that was as tragic as the Limbless Lost Ghost.

Normally, Ghost Mother only appear when a mother with great wanting of having child have a miscarriage. When that woman that has miscarriage die not long after and their obsession and resentment doesn't vanish yet, their soul will be turn into a ghost.

Ghost Mother usually looks like a battered woman holding a baby. Their obsession was tied to the baby so as long as one doesn't try to attack it, Ghost Mother will remain passive and won't attack.

These kind of coincidence definitely don't happen that often.

However, it won't be the same if the process was done artificially...

Poltergeist Cult would do a very merciless method when they were trying to refine a Ghost Mother.

First, the kidnapped pregnant woman will have their fetus dig out of their womb in front of their eyes. Their obsession of becoming a mother was present while the resentment was even more due the torture they have to experience from the whole refining process.

Ghost Mother's made from Poltergeist Cult is usually more aggressive and malicious than those who became out of coincidence.

However, they were still passive and won't attack casually. But Master's of Ghost Mother will usually use the ghost as the shield. The Ghost Mother will definitely get provoked if that happen and it will finally attack.

Cole's natural hatred to Poltergeist Cult become more deeper after he saw and learn this.

That hatred was the reason why he decided to personally attack. He want to atleast end the life who use this kind of pitiful creatures...

He even don't use anything and use his hands directly to pierce his target's heart!

It could be said that Cole's mind now was clouded with rage.

His posture becomes more erect and sharp just like predator ready to pounce on its prey. In fact, if he's in his Immortal Regal Phoenix' form, perhaps his feather were all puff up!

Thinking that it wasn't enough to fully kill the lady, Cole also use [Soul Mimicry] and copy Groot's former [Blood Poison] which is now actually a [Blood Potion] and specifically use its [Evil] effect to produce harmful potion instead of healing blood potion.

But that was not really needed since the said lady wouldn't be able to live for long without her heart. Perhaps the last move only kill her more faster.
