141 - Searching for the Place's Core

Cole did not explain anything to Lady Scarlet, or to other beast too.

After his pets administer first aid and make sure that their life is not on the line, he instruct them to meet the other sect.

He also advise them not to explore anymore as they might encounter Tier-8 Sentient Plant. Should that happen, they won't even have a chance to protect themselves.

Fearing that she won't follow him, Cole even use the prestige of his martial spirit, making the Holy-Rank Vermillion Phoenix to follow what he said.

After sending the Holy Beast Mountain' beasts, Cole focus on exploring the whole dungeon.

He harvest every new medicinal herbs he encounter that hasn't awaken their sentience yet.

He's trying to enrich his collection of medicinal herbs as he had a plan to practice Alchemy in the near future.

He could also use them as currency he could use in the outside world. After all, Alchemy needs different kind of medicinal herbs to produce the sought after pills.

With the presence of Shiela, no spirit plant could stop them. Those dreadful spirit plants will either become dead and harvested with their valuable parts, which mostly its whole body, or get parasited by Celia and send inside the [Inner World] where they will be given a chance to grow and continuously produce valuable medicinal ingredients.

And should he encounter disciples of any three demonic sect, they will meet their end without a doubt. Being called as one, he knew that those persons stain their hands with bloods of the innocent and the powerless.

It could be said that dying in his hand could be considered as retribution of everything they have done.

And the thing that push Cole on finding that inheritance is because it had something to do with phoenix!

Since the Divine Alchemist Phoebe use a phoenix flame in her alchemy, Cole believe that it was compatible with him.

With the buff of Ethereal Space Crystal attached on his Summoning Grimoire, most of the spatial restriction of the medicinal garden don't have effect on Shelly. They travel in the sky freely.

But it was proven to be hard.

They even pass a different environment zone like frost zone where cold-type medicinal plant is planted, volcanic zone where plants that had needs of high temperature, night zone and many others. There were many special zone planted with different kind of medicinal plants.

At first, Cole was worried that with its environmental needs, those special medicinal plants won't survive when he transfer it inside the [Inner World].

Unexpectedly, when he transplant them inside, the medicinal plant did not die.

It was only then it dawn to him that his [Inner World] is more special than he initially think.

In addition to the mysterious Messiah Tree, there was also a Nine-World Elven Ancestral Tree inside that continuously waft out huge amount of spiritual energy and vitality.

Even the Vermillion Tree that was supposed to need a hot environment to grow thrive inside the [Inner World].

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that the [Inner World] became a paradise, specially for any plant or plant family creatures.

Free of worry, he transfer any kind of medicinal plant inside the [Inner World]. To be planted inside the medicinal garden of an Divine Alchemist, its value is not to be underestimated.

It was only when there's three days left did Cole and his company manage to find a very secure place.

Not only it had several powerful formations, including concealing, attacking, gathering and defensive, it also has the ability to warp those who make a contact to it.

It was exactly the same formation where the limbs of Devil Devourer is sealed and where he find Baldy.

It was only because he's sensitive to spatial fluctuations, along with another spatial-type beast Shelly, did they find the said place.

The dungeon map in his eyesight also play a great part as their legend reappeared in the other side of the formation. It means that they were transfered to a long distance.

With powerful concealing formation, Cole can't peer what is inside.

The layers of formation seem to create a powerful restriction that even his [Heavenly Eyes] can't pierce through. He felt a little perplexed.

After all, even the restriction of the where the limbs of powerful Devil was sealed can't stop his [Heavenly Eyes].

But after some moments of thinking, unlike the unattended and basically abandoned, or perhaps forgotten, formation deep in the Flowerhead Forest, this forgotten garden still had a living Divine Beast as a guardian.

Perhaps that person maintain the formation inside this place.

As for why he didn't stop the entry of them, the intruders, it should have something to do with the inheritance left behind by the owner of this place.

If that guardian block and hide this place in the world for a long time, he might even stop the fated one that could possibly revive the inheritance of Divine Alchemist.

Although it don't look impressive to Cole since he have more wider and more special spirit lake inside the [Inner World], it doesn't mean for the other person.

As a matter of fact, this spirit lake was comparable to whole mountain of spiritual stones. It could support a cultivator to reach higher realm if used meticulously.

Furthermore, although it was called as lake, as the measurement system of this world is more higher than it sound, this spirit lake is several times larger.

In the middle of the spirit lake is an island.

A massive tree was erected on it. The said massive tree was a thousands of years old Spirit Gathering Tree. Although it was considered as trash compare to the Nine-World Elven Ancestral Tree, which not only could gather and attract spiritual energy but even draw from the distant void, it was still valuable if taken out outside.

But what attract Cole the most was the vines that entangled the whole tree!

For instance, the said two divine plant could strengthen the bloodline of the particular beast but for humans, the Vermillion Fruit, a fruit produced by the Vermillion Tree, could cleanse body, refine their spiritual energy and even help them reduce the impact of breakingthrough to Sainthood Realm, increasing the likelihood of success.

Vermillion Bird are known to their cleansing flame.

Aa for dragons, they were known to their superior body and powerful strength.

And the True Dragon Fruit was well sought as it was known to refine and improve the body that was like a dragon!

Cole thought for a moment of the reason of the appearance of this true plant here and the first thing that come into his mind is that it was a task given to the deceased Divine Alchemist.

After all, just the name of the whole continent is enough to tell that this Azure Territory is once fully under the control of Divine Beast Azure Dragon.

As a beast, with a high bloodline at that, its territorial awareness should be strong. Very strong.

And no matter how well sought and popular a Divine Alchemist was, they don't have any value for Beast Race. After all, the way they cultivate is different and they don't usually consume pills but the natural form of natural treasure itself.

Pill refined by humans are created suitable for human consumption. For beasts, pills could be considered toxic and could even cause some terrifying bad effects.

That is to say, as long as the Azure Dragon don't have problem on its head, it won't let someone as prestigious and powerful at the same time human on its territory.

"That spirit plant is called the True Dragon Spirit Vine, capable of producing the well-sought True Dragon Fruit. It was personally planted by late Azure Dragon and was entrusted to the owner of this place to take care in exchange of territory and residency of this place. It could be said that it was the most precious thing of all inside this place."

Cole felt terrified by the sudden appearance of someone beside him, not alerted by his sense.

When he look at the person, it was the horned elderly man which was actually a Divinw Beast Fate Ponderer.

Upon seeing him, Cole felt that it was normal. After all, the difference between them wasn't just level or stage of cultivation but realm!

Cole immediately relax. If the elderly man like to kill him, he won't even be able to defend himself. There's no need to raise his guard to someone he can't defeat.

Besides, Celia told him before that the one who save him was an elderly man with a horn.

For high-quality and rare plants, their roots are like the limbs of human, they were hard to recover. Damaging them is akin to serious injury.

Yet, surprisingly, Divinre don't think that it was impossible for Cole.

Someone as protected by fate, he should have a secret of his own that even beat the capabilities of majority of powerhouse.

"Besides, even if you do have the capability to transplant that spirit vine, he won't be able to do that under the surveillance of its guardian."

Then, as though the guardian heard the cue, a long and massive silhouette of phyton beast appear in the clear water of the spirit lake and vanish in the next second. It was as if it was indicating its presence under.

Cole's heart can't help but skip a beat. To be able to escape from his detection and [Heavenly Eyes], that massive green python should have a strong cultivation level.

"But as a little reward for reaching this place with your weak cultivation, the guardian of the spirit vine decided to give you a chance to pluck one True Dragon Fruit..." Divinre inform him and pause.

Cole was surprised, then happy.

Although his greedy side felt a little pity that he can't take the whole treasure away, it was already a huge consolation for him and definitely a huge loss for the giant python.

After all, that spirit vine should be growing for countless years already but there's only several fruits that had mature. To give one of it to him who have a weak Peak Nascent Soul-Stage cultivation, mister horned old man should've convinced the massive python heavily.

It should be protected in three ways; by concealing formation, and spiritual barrier of the massive python and the old man beside him to evade his [Heavenly Eyes] again.

But now that the concealment vanish, the [Heavenly Eyes] immediately work and send its information to him.

It did not enter Divinre's mind that Cole still had the intention of taking possession the spirit vine. He only thought that perhaps Cole think that it was a descendant of Divine Azure Dragon due to number of circumstances.

Therefore, he answered truthfully, "Yes, the guardian of the spirit vine is a descendant of the late master of Azure Territory. And not just a simple descendant but he's a direct son of Azure Dragon!"

Cole kind of expected that so he is not surprise. But what surprise him was that it was a direct son of the Azure Dragon!

Although a beast with Divine-Rank Bloodline is nothing special to him as he already had few of them as his contracted beast, what surprise him was that this guardian should be the unofficial Lord of whole Azure Territory!

As for why it didn't bother with the Azure Territory and let human prosper in it and even allow the creation of several kingdom and one massive ruling empire, perhaps it had something to do with guarding this spirit vine.

Tending and guarding this fruit is definitely more important than to take control a gradually declining piece of territory.

But this thing had small significance to Cole. After all, even if it was a powerful beast, it can't openly attack and destroy a whole human empire.

Otherwise, there many cultivators that'll hunt it in the name of justice.

Eventhough both of them, Divinre and the guardian phyton of True Dragon Spirit Vine, are already in Sainthood Realm and supposedly won't have any interest for items or things owned by weak Nascent Soul-Stage cultivator, his interest is still aroused as Cole is not simple as he look, specially since he clearly saw how he got access to the Beast Race's [Blood Realm] and acquire a corresponding Special Physique and Martial Spirit!

Furthermore, Cole also have a tree martial spirit that could arouse his whole entity to worship and protect it!

For Divinre, although having access to hidden inheritance of many high-ranking bloodline beast is without a doubt very attractive, it wasn't that fatal to him.
