However, to say that only sentient plant could be encountered in the dungeon is wrong.

As a matter of fact, most of the random [Hell] difficulty dungeon simulation have different creatures inside.

For instance, they'll appear on a forest infested with both dangers and opportunity but in reality, it was the common practice of every sect. They have a territory that is untouched mos of the time and let the resources to naturally grow and multiply on it.

They'll plant a rare medicinal herb in the wild and let a beast guard it for them. The unsuspecting beast will guard the growing medicinal herb only to be attacked and killed when the said herb finally mature.

That is to say, the Forgotten Garden dungeon is not monotonous, unless the challenger didn't grow at all and remain on challenging the unchanging scenario of [Normal] difficulty.

This is the reason why Cole didn't look for the other dungeon monolith since he's still fully focused on Forgotten Garden. But now, since it was under cooldown, he don't have much of a choice but to set his eyes on Random Beast Nest Dungeon Monolith.

In order to familiarize himself in the dungeon first, he drag his five party members to challenge the [Normal] and [Hard] difficulty afterwards.

Unsurprisingly, the first beast nest generated by the dungeon monolith is ant nest. And unlike the Forgotten Garden, the Beast Nest Dungeon didn't change its scenery and it was only the habitat of the beast that'll appear.

The only difference is the challenged difficulty.

For instance, when they challenge the [Normal] difficulty, thousands to ten thousands of Heaven-Rank Ant Beast gush out of the ant hill with Monarch-Rank Ant Beast as a boss attack them in waves. When they killed the Monarch-Rank Ant Beast boss, they were transported to Dungeon Clear Store almost instantly. Apparently, they clear the run.

As for the [Hard] difficulty, they were given a chance to enter the ant hill but they were immediately besieged with more greater number of ants. The dungeons mosnters they have to face tripled and the boss they face were Queen Monarch-Rank Ant Beast.

In [Hell] difficulty, ant with catastrophic number gush out of the ant hill. The number were exaggerated that the ground shakes in when they walk due to their number.

Fortunately, greater in numbers but weaker in overall strength is not something Cole fear. With just a wave of his Five Feathers Yin Fan, tens of thousands of ants explode into moths of light.

The most happiest part of the Beast Nest Dungeon is that he can acquire more EXP with the sheer number of ants. Furthermore, even with low drop rates, due to number of ants, Cole harvest huge amount of materials, ingredients and most importantly, Skill Crystals.

Excellent materials for armor creation is the most numerous of all as ant shell and carapace drops the most. Next were ants body parts that could be used for several purposes including alchemy. Ant essence were an excellent product for strengthening the body, blood energy and even the skin toughening.

But the same as before, what Cole like the most was Skill Crystal. And more than half of Skill Crystals dropped were strength and endurance oriented skills. Ants Strength, Ant Vigor... Most of them were the desirable characteristics of ant beast.

Oh, and Pet Eggs were also numerous and they were, as expected, eggs of the ants the dungeon has.

The ant beast waves is not threatening but their sheer numbers is extremely troublesome. Cole don't know how many times he swing his fan and kill batches and batches of ants but there were still something that'll replace the fallen. At some point in time, despite not feeling fatigue physically, Cole literally felt mentally fatigue. Even his spiritual energy reserve reach critical level and near to be depleted.

Fortunately, as when Cole is about to summon Shelly to flatten the ant hill, the waves of ant are finally depleted.

It looks like they manage to clear all the dungeon mobs of internal part of the ant hill.

His continuous use of Five Feathers Yin Fan almost deplete his spiritual energy reserves. He take that buffer time to recover his spiritual energy before challenging the boss.

Perhaps because of tens of thousands of ants live the area before, the ant hill is completely barren of resources, including the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. In order to recover his spiritual energy more faster, he summon his Continental Shell that house the Nine World Elven Ancestral Tree and absorb its thick spiritual energy fog.

Fortunately, despite the deep spiritual energy, it wasn't that hard for Cole to absorb and recover his spiritual energy. Not only the Nine Revolution Rings of each of his elemental core has sucking force, even his inferior elemental affinity turned star creates a mysterious array that also attract and absorbs spiritual energy. Even the orbiting action of his elemental core attracts and absorb spiritual energy.

If not because of barren situation of ant hill, Cole don't have to face depletion of spiritual energy since he's been absorbing what's in the surrounding.

The terrifying capability of [Dantian Genesis Cultivation Method] were fully displayed in that moment. Despite having a spiritual energy reserves that's several times more higher than the normal, he manage to recover his lost spiritual energy in less than ten minutes. Of course, the thick spiritual energy provided by Nine World Elven Ancestral Tree also takes a big credit.

With full of vigor, Cole takes his party member to challenge the dungeon boss room.

However, the core of the ant hill is the most important place of the colony.

The Count Mountain Ant is numerous in central ant hill but it was nothing in the number of Heaven-Rank ants they face before. As a matter of fact, the pressure is not the same as before. He even managed to isolate some and let the other five battle it to practice.

It was fortunate that the killed ant corpses explodes into moth of lights or the place will be full of it.

After an hour of continuous battle and gradual moving speed, they have finally managed to reach the dungeon boss room and meet the colony's true queen.

This time, the dungeon boss is as massive as half of mountain size with incomparable big belly which compose third of its whole body.

The moment Cole and his party enter the attack range of the queen, it immediately issued a angry bug cry.

At the same, brown colored energy rose from the ground and fuse with the queens' body. It was using its skill [Earth Devouring] to absorb the rich amount of earth-energy from the ground.

Not long after, the huge belly of the ant queen start to squirm. It was quite a disgusting sight.

Then, huge number of eggs were ejected by it, along with thick amount of fishy insect fluids.

Cole frown, specially when he saw that the newly appeared egg shake fiercely and ant beast emerge from it.

It was fortunate that this was just a simulated reality of the dungeon. If this ant queen happen to appear outside, it could create a catastrophic ant tide.

This beast won't just remain on one area but instead try to colonize a big area since its huge number of offspring, not the say the queen ant itself, needs a huge amount of resources. Just the devoid of spiritual energy environment of ant hill is enough to indicate of how massive the ant hill needs for resources.

The lowest the queen could give birth to is Heaven-Rank. For Cole, this was nothing but a cannon fodder but a single one of this is a catastrophic beast in the Azure Territory. Should this ant tide terrorize the Azure Territory, he don't know how many million of people would die and how many kingdom would fall.

The newly born ant were in initial state of weakness, not they were a threat when they were in their best state.

According to the status panel, the queen ant don't have any offensive capability. Instead, it was a massive meat shield that is basically hard to be killed as long as its mountainous body still touched the ground and absorb the boundless earth-energy. The main offensive ability of the queen is through producing endless amount of offspring, literally showing what it means to topple an elephant with an army of ants.

And indeed, as long as the Mountain Devouring Imperial Ant Queen touch the ground, all of its capability were greatly enhance except for its offensive capability.

With one swing of his Five Feathers Yin Fan, all of the newly hatched ants explode into moths of light. However, eventhough the queen also receive a damage from the attack, it immediately recover to full health under the influence of boundless earth-energy.

In addition, the dungeon also have two skills that greatly boost its defense. Thick Earth Carapace gave the queen a layer of skin made from pure earth. If one want to damage the queen, this thing needs to be removed first.

However, removing the Thick Earth Carapace is quite easy for Cole but it recover in the next second under the Queen's skill, Mountain Devouring. It absorbs huge amount of earth-energy from the ground.

Immovable Mountain, on the other hand, is also a great passive skill of the queen. As long as the dungeon boss touch the ground and don't move around, this skill would be instantly triggered, gaining the blessing of the earth which would double the defense.

All of the abilities of the queen revolve around about touching the ground. That is to say, defeating the ant queen is also easy—just make sure that it won't touch the ground.

Still, eventhough the solution could be clearly seen, it was a question on how to make the mountainous sized ant float.

Of course, this is not a problem for Cole since every kind of schemes will fall under great power.

However, what makes Cole worry is that the [Hell] difficulty is literally hellish for those normal in nature, like the five subordinate he has on him. After all, time would come and his subordinates would challenge the dungeon on their own. Upon closer look, the reason why the massive ant queen is turning dry is because it was actually turning old in unbelievable speed!

The truth is the word Immortal on [Immortal Purity True Phoenix Flame] refers to life attribute and affinity of the flame. It could heal but at the same time, it could also kill.

This time, what just Cole did is to burn the life force of the beast.

Among the elements known in the world, Time, Fate and Life is hardest to comprehend about. It was a realm that only those fated can touch about.

And just like time, most creatures knew the presence of life but it was something out of their control. Otherwise, not many powerful people die just because their lifespan reach its limit.
