After of almost one week and two months long of travel, Cole, with Ricky, and his crew - Nick Carmelo, the young master of Carmelo Family of Stone Forest City, Ken Carmelo, son of one of the elders of Carmelo Family and Ben Lin, young master of Lin Family of Stone Forest Town - arrived at at the entrance of Light Mountain Forest which means that they were now near the Five Element Sect.

The disciple recruitment of Five Element Sect was still three months away. Eventhough the travel from Stone Forest Town to the entrance of Light Mountain Forest was just two months, they still travel three months before as they also want to be at their peak condition in recruitment process and not worn out from their travel.

Since their three weeks to early, they'll now go to the one of the town managed and own by Five Element Sect, the Breeze Town.

The four of them find an inn and rent them for whole three weeks. They will meditate and cultivate for the remaining time as they want to add even a little bit of strength. Well, atleast the three of them. Cole just also rent a room as he'll just have that as a point for his Gate.

They got stronger by absorbing the energy between Heaven and Earth as well as pills but he have a better option, he'll battle in the wild and gain exp.

After locking the whole room, Cole summon Gate and they appear again in the Brown Forest, the forest between Light Mountain Forest and Stone Forest City. Cole chose this forest as he encountered quiet a number of Tier 2 Beast here compare to Shadow Forest and the other before. It must be because the energy of Heaven and Earth in this part was more thicker compare to other places Cole had been to.

Cole ask his companies before and they answer him, "We are in the edge part of the world and the energy of Heaven and Earth here is scarce. It is said that the nearer it is in the middle the thicker the energy of Heaven and Earth."

And so that was the reason Tier 2 Wild Beast seems common here as it was easier to breakthrough here due to thickness of energy. This was quit a good news for Cole as the stronger the beast the higher they get exp.

This time, due to number of beast they battled, both Ricky and Blue improved. He focused all the exp to the two as the exp given to him by Tier 2 Wild Beast was so small that he felt like it doesn't benefit him.

Party Member Name : Ricky ♂️ Class : ∅ Profession : ∅ CS : Sixth Level Mana Gathering Stage Progress : 94.8% CM : Heavenly Beast God Technique Innate : Water Spirit Body Skills : Free Water Bending Weapon : ∅ Equipment : ∅ Martial Spirit : Water Dragon

Cole nodded in his self as he look at their data. Blue level up in their travel time and he'll most likely to level up again before the disciples selection. On the other hand, Ricky don't level up but he create quit a good progress and he'll most likely to breakthrough this coming three weeks.

Cole also wanted Ricky to enter in Five Element Sect through his strength. Although he can come with Cole through the Inner World, Cole treat this as training for Ricky. Afterall, there's a good difference between beast he mostly battled and human with high intelligence. Human intelligence what makes human more dangerous than beast.

Cole, Ricky and Blue was now travelling along the Brown Forest looking for their opponents or should they say prey?

After all this time, the others who was attempting to breakthrough to Tier 3 Wild Beast was not yet finish. But Cole understand as his attempt lasted for four months. He even thought that Bell's was more longer as she was a Elemental Creature.

Cole was desperately making Blue more powerful as he would depend on the beast in the incoming event. He was a beast tamer and he battle using his tamed beast. The stronger his beast was, the more likely he'll succeed in the recruitment.

"Tomorrow is the disciple recruitment, are you guys confident you'll pass?" Nick ask the group.

They were now in the table in the restaurant of the Wood Inn and were eating their dinner. They just exited their three weeks closed door cultivation and felt happy at their added strength as their clans give them precious pills as they also want them to enter the Five Element Sect. The moment they rise, their clan would also rise along with him.

Seeing their happy expressions, Cole just give them a slight congratulatory smile. In his eyes, their progress just rise 5% and Nick was slightly better as his strength increased for 7% for the last three weeks. Cole thought what would happen if they'll know what Ricky and Blue's improvements? Would they die from jealousy? Cole just shake his head.

Nick was now at late Fourth Level of Mana Gathering Stage , Ken, Nick's fellow clansmen, was at early Fourth Level Mana Gathering Stage and Ben was at peak Third Level of Mana Gathering Stage. They were all the three genuis of Stone Forest City.

Apparently, every level was further divided by four division and it was early, intermediate, late and lastly peak. Cole just learned this later this day.

Cole deduced that early level was equivalent from 1-30% in progress tab and 31-60% was intermediate, 61-90% was late and 91-100% was the peak level.

"I'm actually not confident to pass the recruitment..." Ben answered to Nick's question. But Ben just felt this way as he was the weakest in their group.

"Of course you're not confident!" Ken said exaggerated.

Cole smile at Ken's remark. Ben was one of those people who are shy and not confident in everything he did. In his mind-set, he was bound to fail but that wasn't happened even once the time they travel, this Cole could guarantee. He just look always on the negative side.

"Don't worry. I know that you'll pass." Cole console the no-confidence Ben. Ben smiled appreciating Cole's words.

"If you think Ben will pass then I guess I'll surely pass!" Ken said confidently to Cole.

Cole just nod at him agreeing.

If Ben was shy and always looking at the bad side then Ken was his exact opposite. He was loud and cheeky and always looking at bright side of all things. He was like light while Ben was dark.

No one bothered to ask Cole if he was confident to pass the recruitment test. They all know that he was a beast tamer and they saw what his beast, Blue the Lightning Illusionist Fox, capabilities. They don't know what happen but his oppenent always attack the other way as if their enemies was there then Blue just zoom past and then a slit would appear on the neck of opponent beast. It was scary and they thank all what there is for not making Cole their enemy. If not, they'll be dead without even knowing how they die.

With Cole's capabilities, they know that he'll pass without bumps on the road.

Tomorrow morning, Cole and his crew was now in the foot of mountain called Flat Peak. It was a mountain with different divisions and levels and this was the place the disciple recruitment will take place.

There were many people on the sight, atleast 2,000 and mostly compose of Mana Gathering Stage with some peak of Body Tempering Stage.

Half an hour later, a old man appear at the front of the crowd.

"Welcome, promising youths." The old man pause. "The five years disciple recruitment of Five Element Sect. I thank you all for coming here today. I'm Elder Three of Wood Peak and I'm the one would supervise the event."

"Most of you should know what our criteria right? If not, then I'll explain some of them."

"The lowest stage we could accept was peak of Body Tempering Stage while there is no problem with the highest. The age of Body Tempering Stage that could be accepted was twenty years old and below. The age of Mana Gathering Stage that could be accepted was thirty years old and below only. So if you're old now for your stage then leave." He stopped.

Many of the people started to leave with dejected expression while some just step back and disconnect from the main crowd.

Elder Three nodded his head. Cole look around and the crowd was now mostly numbered approximately 900 people. More than 1,000 people left the crowd. Those people didn't pass the age requirement.

"Good. Atleast you all are honest person. I commend you all." Elder Three spoke loudly to the crowd.

Those with dejected expressions lit up their face slightly. It was an honor that they were praised by one of the elder of the sect, someone that they have to look up to.

Cole look up to Elder Three and gave him an expression of a good man.

"Now. There are three parts of the disciples recruitment and I'll only give the first part. The other part will only be given later. The first part of the test is Beast Hunting. You'll hunt beast with the same or higher level as your cultivation level. It is better if you'll defeat higher than your as it will be a plus. Those who hunt lower than your level will be disqualified and not be accepted by the Sect. As a testimony that you killed the beast, you'll bring the dead body here. You have two days to hunt and only top 500 will be qualified and the rest will be eliminated." The Elder pause.

"Be honest." The elder spoke sincerely. "Now! Begin!"

The other's leave immediately and enter the forest again.

While some of them were travelling to Five Element Sect before, they saw Wild Beast but didn't battle it as they want to conserve their energy. Now that it required to slay beast, then they were little ahead of others as they already have their target. This conserve their time of finding a beast.

Of course, not all of them have this advantage. Some of them travel pretty smoothly that they don't encounter a beast while some slay the beast they encounter before. Now, they have to find their target first.

While the others where in a hurry, Cole, Ricky and his crew were walking pretty steady and while he was pretty relax, the other three - Nick, Ben, and Ken - were tense and wanted to leave Cole behind when they saw his phase. However, they just remain silent and obediently follow Cole.

They walk slowly for five minutes as if they were enjoying the scenery. There were no other person in sight as they were already far scrambling to find their target. When he was sure that there were no other soul nearby, he stop and face the others.

"Close your eyes." He instructed.

The other's look at him confused but did what Cole said.

When Cole was sure that they were no one peeking, he summon Gate in front of them. He hold Ricky's hand and said, "Walk straight ahead and no peeking."

The others walk first and when they passed the Gate, Cole and Ricky follow.

After Cole pass the Gate, he closed it and told the others, "You can open your eyes now."

They open their eyes slowly first but it got widen as they saw that the scenery changed.

The green tree's of Light Mountain Forest was now gone and was replaced by brown colored trees.

They were back to Brown Forest!

Seeing their 'I can't believe this' face, Cole said, "We are now far from others, as you can see. So now will hunt with no worries and no competitors."

They just nod at him stiffly.
