Next day, Cole woke up feeling refreshed. Sleep was not something a cultivator like him at Core Formation-Stage needed but he still do it because of his habit from Earth. But eventhough it brought nothing significant to others, it doesn't mean it was the same with Cole. In fact, sleep was something beneficial for him. For instance, his [Soul Sea] who only have a size of a pond after his breakthrough now was nearing with the same size of a lake. It was like sleep was the charger of his [Soul Sea].

Feeling extra moved and motivated because of his progress from sleeping, Cole summon Celia as they have the task of exploring the Flowerhead Forest today.

The Red Skull Bandit group had their own special route in the Flowerhead Forest. This may be one of the reasons they didn't get affected by the forest bizarre effect, this special route. It was like the bandit group and the forest had an agreement that as long as they use that route, they won't be afflicted of growing flower in their head.

Of course, even if he knew that route as if it was the back of his hands from Fernando's stolen memories, he won't dare to use that route or it will affect his overall plan.

Since he don't have the strength to counter the group in face to face fight, he have to use a different approach. The approach he thought that was most effective with their situation was by attacking them by one, surprise blow that is enough to damage their overall capacity.

So if he start attacking them now one by one, that will raise the group's guard and it will make more harder to eliminate that bandit group.

Cole share this great plan of his to assistant Celia. The little girl just nod but didn't answer and smile mischievously, as if she has her plan of her own but didn't have a plan of sharing to Cole. Cole just shrug it off. No matter it was, he knew that it will bring him no harm but quite the opposite instead. That's how high his trust to Celia.

Since he already have an opening point of his [Gate] to the Flowerhead Forest, he didn't have to waste a number of days just to reach the place. He scan Fernando's memories about the Flowerhead Forest and he find the most appropriate place for them to start. It was on the edge of the forest that was quite far from its main entrance and bandit group's secret route. It was the most appropriate starting place for them.

Cole summon his [Summoning Grimoire] and chanted while thinking of the place, "[Gate]." Thei scenery of their front blurred for a second chaotically before it stabilize.

Celia didn't wait for his signal and jump first at the portal. Cole smile as he thought that Celia was more eager to explore the forest than him. He just shrugged it off. Celia is a [Dragon] and as far as he knew, [Dragons], as the King of the beast, love brutality more than anything. And her being coop-up inside the [Inner World] always was a like a wolf with a muzzle, depriving them from showing their true nature.

Cole follow Celia and enter the portal too. What greeted him was the familiar scenery of the edge of Flowerhead Forest. Cole smile of how convenient the combination of Celia's [Soul Search] and [Summoning Grimoire]'s [Gate]. It gave him endless prospects and possibilities.

"Here we are..." Cole breathlessly said while looking at the periphery of the Flowerhead Forest.

Celia rolled her eyes at his reaction, "Everywhere we go, it's a forest. Yet, your still amaze at the sight of clusters of trees... You're not sick yet because I am." she said in her head. She then glared at the tree as if she want to murder it down to its roots...

"All right, before we go inside, I just want to remind you that do not attack any creatures with flower in their heads." Cole said with seriousness.

Base on Fernando's memories, any creatures with a flower in their head inside the forest won't attack anyone they see in their own accord. But if someone attack any creatures with flower in their head, they'll be besiege by them until they die or if they got out of the forest. Also, they will also attack anyone who trespass a certain area of the forest. The most begrudgingly of it, there was no any signs of warning of this area. So most of the time, those who decided to walk much deeper in the forest were killed just because they set their foot in that area. They died with so much injustice.

"I'm the one who transfer those memories to you, remember?" Celia said with a matter-of-fact tone.

"Oh, right... I forgot... Hehehe..." Cole laugh awkwardly. He shake his head and quickly recovered, "Anyway, we should enter now." He said and started to walk towards the forest first to avoid the awkward situation.

The forest of this world was always more beautiful than forests at Earth. This maybe because of these energies of Heaven and Earth which greatly nourished the whole planet itself which the planet Earth doesn't have. Or it have, it just that maybe it was so thin that it was almost nonexistent.

"Wow..." Cole said with awe.

Celia can't help but rolled her eyes again. Just how many damn trees will make this guy satisfied?

They then walk deeper and deeper into the forest.

Moments later, they encounter for the first time a creature, or the beast to be exact, with a flower on its head. It was a green-colored wolf. The green immediately growl at them as if it will attack them from any moment but suddenly stopped in the next second. It was as if it received a command from somewhere. The wolf release a snort but sit down in a dog way and look at Cole and Celia vigilantly.

Beast Name : Green Wolf♂️ Stage : Second-Level Tier-3 Wild Beast Progress : 10.1% Affinity : Wood Type : Beast Description : A common species of wolf often found in many forest. Among the line of wolfs, Green Wolf were known to be the mildest and easiest to be tamed.

Cole look at the wolf with awe. The wolf was a big creature and the moment it sat down, it was literally face to face with the beast.

Just like from the information he received, any creatures with a flower in their head won't attack proactively but it will pose as a guard with their defense lowered as if they were waiting to be attack.

And if also don't know the unwritten rules of this forest, he might also attack that wolf and harvest many things beside its beast core. The beast acted like an easy harvest but the moment it was attacked, the forest's whole population might attack him continuously.

It was truly a big temptation. It's no wonder many greedy people fall on this forest.

After Cole move on from the beautiful appearance of the Green Wolf, he shifted his focus on the flower mounted on his head. It was truly an bizarre sight as the flower looks beautiful and healthy as if the head of beast was a soil that sustain all of its needs.

Controlling Flower [Parasitic Medium] A parasitic flower grown from the seed a certain creature release in the air.

"It's a parasite." Cole said sharing what he discovered to Celia.

"Yes." Celia answered as she nodded.

"You knew?" Cole asked confused why Celia knew it was a parasite.

"In this world, if I say I'm a second when it comes with paratism, then no one will claim that they were number one!" Celia answered full of pride. "The moment I heard the name Flowerhead Forest, I already have a hunch about this. Now that I saw one face to face, I instantly know that that flower on his head is a parasitic medium like my [Parasitic Worm Mist]." She explained.

Cole scratch his cheeks shyly... Asking why she knew that it was a parasitic medium when she was a master of it... Yeah, Cole, your just mocking yourself...

"Well..." Cole muttered awkwardly. Why is he being stupid today?

Celia laugh secretly at her Master's antics.

"Although this was the first time I saw this kind of parasitic technique, I know the way of this technique the moment I saw it." She said to Cole and she produce a purple mist and cover something in the air then brought at their front. She then make the mist transparent. Inside was a seed that was so small that if Celia didn't brought it out in his face, Cole will overlook it.

Controlling Seed [Parasitic Medium] A parasitic seed. Will only grow into controlling flower if attached in the head.

"If my assumptions are right, this whole forest have this kind of seed floating in the air." Celia thought out loud. She then faced Cole and inform him, "This small seed is the same as my [Parasitic Worm Mist] as this is the creature use in his paratism. If I'm not wrong again and base on what I can see, this paratism will only work if this seed manage to fall on victims head. If it fall on other body parts like the in the hand or in the body, it will not work. This seed will then die and vanish.

"Ok." Cole responded, agreeing at what Celia said. It was the same as the information he received from his [Heavenly Eyes].

"Although this paratism skill is pretty good, it got a very big flaw." Celia said again.

"Flaw?" Cole asked, confused.

Celia nodded, "Yes, a flaw. Well, in my eyes, this skills' way are full of flaw. Just the fact that it will only work if it fall in the victims head was already the big flaw." She paused. "This paratism technique are easy to counter if they knew how it works. For instance, just wear a simple protection in the head like hat was enough to stop this skill from working."

"Oh? We have to wear hats?"

"Not necessarily. Just cover your head with energy and it will be enough as a protection."

"All right." Cole believed her words and he manipulate the surroundings available Space-Energy and cover his head.

"Wow. We just enter this forest and we already have this much progress." Cole can't help but voiced out loud.

Celia nodded her head. "The flower on the head was too obvious, I'm sure that other people already suspected that those are parasitic medium. I think that the scope of your mission this time is to find the creature who is causing all of this and report it." She concluded.

Cole contemplated for a moment before he nodded his head in agreement. "You're probably right."

He thought deeply for a moment before he added, "But base on Fernando's memories, humans will get attacked by those creatures that is controlled with parasites if stepped on forest certain areas. This is maybe the reason why this mission was with red color. This mission is truly a difficult one." He said.

Celia just nodded. Seconds later, she smile deviously as if she was brewing an evil plan inside her head.
