It only increase by 11%! Cole said to his head. He even feel disappointed! If a cultivator hear what Cole is muttering on his own, they will cough a mouthful of blood!
We can even feel happy if we can just make 5% of progress in just one night! Yet, you improve by full 11% and yet you still have guts to feel disappointed?! Where is the justice!
Those cultivators will even question the heaven if that will happen.
I thought heaven is fair? This is not fair at all!
But of course, Cole is oblivous to all of this.
This time I must tame a new beast! I have many available soul contracts and it will be a waste if I didn't use them. It was even doubled by my Martial Spirit! So now I have a full hundred contracts. Cole said to himself.
Cole got out of the Inner World and he reappear again inside the cave. Beside him is the Summoning Grimoire.
When Cole get inside the Inner World, the book will remain outside. It can't go inside yourself right? When Cole store his Summoning Grimoire it goes to his Dantian.
Cole will the Summoning Grimoire and arrive at his front and he chants, "Summon!"
A magic circle appear and a turtle came outside of it. Normally when summoning a beast, tamer have to say the beast name but since the turtle is still the only one Cole's beast, it was summoned by default.
The dumb looking turtle was now gone. Its eye now gleam with intelligence. Cole even game him a name, Shelly.

Size Shifting Description : Shrink up to the size it was born and expand the size up to the current maximum size.
Levitate Affinity : Space Description : Control the space in the surrounding and makes itself weightless and float in the air.
Shelly wants to always stay in small size. Shelly can float, maybe becuase of his space type, but he always want to rest on Cole's head. Fortunately, when he shrink to half palm size his weight also reduced. If not, it will be a great nightmare for Cole. Shelly's maximum size is that like a car on Earth but his weightmass is like a ton if he don't use his Levitate ability.
Now, Cole's dream before has finally come true! He now can ride a beast! It was even comfortable! It was like riding a car but no cover. When Shelly control the surrounding space, he can even make a barrier that isolates the space. So no matter how fast Shelly travel there is no wind.
Since Cole wants to find a beast companion, he goes more deeper at the forest. No matter how far he goes from that cave he can always come back in the second becuase he got the spell Gate! Gate can the space from place to another. Cole even call it Portal.
After hours of travelling, Cole started to descend. Cole doesn't even bother to kill all the beast on the way. He knows that all of them is exp but they were also a a prey of some predators. If those predators don't have enough to it and starve, they will find a new place and relocate. This will make the forest dead. After all, too much is also not good.
The reason Cole decided to descend here is becuase he saw a creature glowing a red color and red mostly represent fire. So if his luck his good this beast has affinity with fire! He finally can eat meat now! He can cook a simple dish with that fire, roasted meat! Eventhough he don't have condiments like salt and soy in him but he had many plants that he harvest this last ten days and many of it can served as herbs and spices.
Cole is now in the part of the forest that bare and stony. The numbers of tree here is minimal and all that there is has only few leaves. It must be the barren part of the forest.
In between of big two stone, there is a small crevice and on that crevice a tail is out! A red lizard tail!
Cole quietly creep near the beast and see a sleeping fire lizard.
Species Name : Fire Lizard Level : 18 (Tier 2 Wild Beast) Affinity : Fire Type : Beast Rank : Earth Description : A lizard beast that can breath fire. Its body is only feels warm.
Cole decided that this is the first beast he will tame.
Okay Shelly, make me float first. Then go twenty feet higher and use Earth Tremor. Cole send a command to Shelly through their mind link.
Cole float one meter higher to the ground while Shelly float twenty feet higher then descended quickly! Despite Shelly's car size body is a bit small but his weight is actually way higher, it's almost one ton!
The ground shake violently while the fire lizard comes out from the crevice confuse!
Cole summon his Summoning Grimoire, chant and point at the fire lizard, "Soul Contract!"
Soul force leaves Coles body and fuse with lizard. The Fire Lizard world is still spinning when those things transpired. When the Fire Lizards consciousness is back to normal, it only knows that he feel connection with that stranger.
Taming Successful! Soul contract has been establish.

Claw Swipe Description : Scratch the target using his sharp claw.
Tail Slam Desription : Whip the target using his sturdy tail.
Fire Breath Affinity : Fire Description : Gather all the fire mana in it's body to its mouth and breath at the target. This will consume 1000 of energy. Has a high chance to inflict burn status to the target.
Limb Regeneration Description : A rare skill of lizard-type beast. Regenarate a loss limb in exchange of energy. Amount of Energy to be use vary on what limb to regenarate.
Congratulations for the user for successful taming for the first time! Evolution Path has been unlocked!
When Cole reads the Fire Lizard info, he feel satisfied. However, when he read the follow up notification, he felt shocked! Eventhough Cole didn't really get what it means, Cole's feel like that from the sound of it, it was awesome!
Evolution Path Description : Beast information now includes how to level up the ranks.
Oh, that's how it is... Cole conclude to his self. Cole look again to the Fire Lizards information and below the Beast Skills a new tab appear.

Next Rank : Sky Beast Name : Flaming Body Salamander Affinity : Fire Requirements : Consuming Tier 3 Fire Beast Crystal to the Beast will increase its success chance to level-up up to 99%.
Next Rank : Sky Beast Name : Magma Salamander Affinity : Fire/Earth Requirements : Consuming Tier 3 Fire-Earth dual Beast Crystal will increase the evolution chance to level-up up to 80%.
This is good! With this, I will not be hopeless when ranking up my tamed beasts. Afterall, different beast has different way to evolve.
Cole appear in front of Fire Lizard and touch it's muzzle. The beast didn't react and let Cole do what he is doing. It's becuase the beast feel the connection with the guy. Though faint, almost non-existent, there is still connection to there soul.
When the Fire Lizard feels that Cole doesn't mean any harm, he finally react! He moves!
The Fire Lizard inhales Cole's natural body scent and the slit in his eyes narrow. It's trying to sketch Cole's image in its mind.
Eventhough Tier 2 Beast don't have the Intelligence like that of human. They were not as dumb as those Tier 1 beast. Unlike Tier 1 Beast who only follows their beastly instincts, Tier 2 Beast started to developed a human like Intelligence.
Fire Lizard's height is only half of Cole's height in it all fours but it's length is actually five meters long. So for the sake of convieniency, Cole put him inside the Inner World.
Cole continue his journey back inside the forest, however he didn't go the the direction of where he came from and go to the left side. This time, Cole didn't ride Shelly's back but walk instead. This way, he will encounter more beast than he was flying.
Cole has been walking for five minutes while a palm size turtle is in his head, when one of the tree that has a hollow space in the middle of it's trunk has different data. It was not actually a normal tree but a beast tree! If not becuase of his Heavenly Eyes, he won't even notice it and might get attack by it!
Species Name : Treant Level : 5 (Tier 1 Wild Beast) Affinity : Wood Type : Tree Rank : Mortal Description : An ancient tree that gains a sentient. It always stay in one place and take roots. It never attacks other creatures unless threaten.
"Soul Contract." Cole chant then point to the odd tree since it's already there. Soul Force once again leaves Cole's body and when that soul force fuse with the Treant one of Soul Branch of his soul extended again until it reaches the beast body.
Taming Successful! Soul contract has been establish.

After checking the Treants data, Cole also send it to Inner World. However, when the tree disappear, a butterfly-like creature is still floating in the air. The creature has a human body but small.
It's a fairy! It actually look like Tinker Bell in the animation movie on planet Earth!
The fairy is still floating in the air and has its eyes close. It must be sleeping in the Treants body but the creature didn't even notice that it was already gone.
Species Name : Flower Bell Fairy Level : 20 Affinity : Wood/Sound Type : Elemental Fairy Rank : Sky Description : A Elemental Fairy of Wood Mana. Flower Bell Fairy's aura will help plants to gain sentient more quickly.
The fairy opens its eyes and see she is floating in the aira. The trunk that she was sleeping on was gone. The whole tree was actually gone!
Bell likes that tree becuase the tree's trunk is nice to sleep on but most of all she feels a life on that tree! Bell always rest on that tree that she make it her home yet in vanish into thin air in the second! She doesn't even know when or how it happen! Bell's feel at lost and seconds later she feel angry.
Who is the culprit!
Bell survey her surrounding and see a boy standing below the ground at looking at her. She even feel afraid when she see a human near her but her anger is more potent!
Give me back my home!!!
