The whole Beast-Tamer League base have five floors, excluding the rooftop.
The first floor was for receiving, the second floor was for general affairs and operation, third floor and fourth floor was for accommodations. But since a floor could only contain five room each, with the two making the room ten in total, this two floors might only be available for important persons of the league.
With that line of thought, it seems that he have to ask for another tree building purely for accommodations.
Fifth floor of the base was for private affairs and operations, including a secret meeting. While the top floor will be use fully as relaxation area.
Since he don't have any other place, he makes Mike occupy a room in the second floor temporarily.
The moment he receive the confirmation, Mike immediately run towards the room and immediately enter seclusion.
Cole laugh softly at Mike's very excited and hurried expression.
Just with Mike's reaction, he could already foresee that his Cultivation Room plan will definitely be a big success.
But before he could proceed, he have to gain permission first. At the end of the day, he was on someone else's territory.
Suddenly, there's someone who knocks on the door again. When he open it, First Elder was on the door.
"Outer-Peak Disciple Cole have seen First Elder." He greeted after he recover from sudden surprise.
The elderly smile warmly at him, "Look at you, still alive and even create another loud commotion." and patted his head. "Anyway, I'm here as you're being called by Sect Master."
Cole nodded his head as he already expected this, after all, the mission was personally issued by the Sect Master.
"Then I'll follow First Elder."
Several moments later, Cole was brought in front of a forest. However, the whole forest was just a cover, a feint, his [Heavenly Eyes] could immediately see the truth. What's behind the illusion was a mountain with sparse but sophisticateds architecture.
First Elder brought out a some sort of token which makes a hole to the formation. He beckon Cole to follow him.
The moment he step inside, he immediately felt the rich five basic elements in the air, which are fire, water, wood, earth, and metal. What amazing about that was there's no conflict among energy, it was all in perfect harmony. This was quite unbelievable since for instance, fire and water was two conflicted elements, well, according to logic by the way.
Cole feel excited, he immediately knew that this was produced by special formation. He can't help but feel the impulse to fly towards the sky and have bird eyes view of the place.
On the other hand, seeing the surprised and wondered reaction of Cole, First Elder didn't even have an ounce of suspicion as the kid already admitted himself that he have three kinds of affinity, and the two of that was Wood and Water. Definitely, he could feel both the rich amount of Water and Wood energy.
"This place was the very core and protected place of Five Element Sect called the Convergence Peak. Just like what its name stated, all of five basic elements, which includes fire, water, earth, wood and metal." First Elder introduced briefly the place. "I'm sure that you could feel the presence of both the Water and Wood Energy right?"
"Yes, I could." He answered with casual voice, not even have an ounce of excitement.
Between the Convergence Peak and the hidden place where the Tree of Life was planted, which is the most impressive?
Well, to Cole's opinion, it was the hidden place of Tree of Life, thus, the lack of enthusiasm.
Besides, the formations laid in the whole Convergence Peak fall deeply compare to the elves hidden place. If there's a treasure sealed behind the formations, it's apparent that the elves was more amazing.
On the other hand, First Elder thought that the lack of emotion was becuase Cole didn't recover from the surprise and shock yet.
After a few moments of more walking, First Elder Cole and Cole finally arrived at their destination.
Their destination was a spacious room with long row of table. It seems like the room was where important meeting about the sect was hold. He even saw a formation that absorbs all the noise outside, which makes the room soundproof from the outside.
In the table sat a few familiar face, which are the five Peak Master. Of course, like a King on the throne, a middle-age good looking man sat at the top, which probably the current Sect Master. There's also a good number of elderly man and woman, probably the Grand Elders of the Sect.
What surprise Cole was there's also people who likes like youth in their golden age. He wonder how could they have the qualification to sit on the table full of powerful and important elders?
No matter, he put the matter aside first and immediately do the greetings.
"Outer Wood Peak Disciple Cole have seen Sect Master, Peak Masters, Grand Elders, and... fellow disciples." He hesitated how to address the youths on the table.
A solemn old woman just next at the Sect Master immediately perk up, "Outer Peak disciple?" She muse.
The strange phenomenon of the Flowerhead Forest was also included at the daily talk at the Middle Lands, Eastern Continent. There were also peoples of their continent sended to try the solve the mystery behind it. However, even them was quite helpless.
The phenomenon was proven as parasitic technique or skill, but since it wasn't disastrous and maintained at the Forest's territory, it didn't raise the motion of extermination.
After the probing of the first party, Middle Landers didn't send any further explorer in fear of both the phenomenon and no return.
And since this was originally at Lower Lands, it was left out for themselves to solve.
Now, she heard an intriguing news; someone solve this great mystery and this was solved by their Sects' disciple. What surprise her was that disciple was actually a Outer-Peak disciple, which according to their grading, the weakest and have the lowest potential. The kind of disciple accepted to only fill the needed number for Sects survival.
It was Fire-Peak Master, Madam Red who answered the Grand Elders muse, "Well, Grand Elder Caira, Outer-Peak Disciple Cole was one of those talented individual with three affinity—"
"Three affinity?!" Grand Elder Caira exclaimed and rose from her sit at the information. She look excitedly at Cole for a moment before she got back on her seat, "Pardon me, Peak Master Red, at my rude interruption. Please continue."
What is the name of their Sect? Five Elements Sect. However, even for the long time and history, there's only exactly two people who have the affinity with five basic element in their Sect. First was their founder and the second was the very talented individual who even participated at Devil's disastrous invasion.
Except for those two, their sect didn't produce more even until now. Eventhough this disciple only have three affinities, very far from five, this was already surprise for them, for her.
This was why she lost her composure. Who would've thought that their visit here in low lands could make her encounter a great treasure?
However, although what happen was quite really rude, all the people except for youths nodded their head as though they understand her behavior.
Madam Red just smile as she immediately continue, "As I said, Disciple Cole was a talented individual with three affinities, which are Wood, Water and... Space." She trailed for suspense.
"Space?!" She exclaimed once again. This time, she even close on fainting. "Why I'm only hearing this now?!" She suddenly turn angry.
Woman do change their mood faster than the whether. Cole sigh.
The stoic Sect Master have a rare blush in his cheeks. "Eh-hm. Do you have a proof to your claim?" He ask intended to Cole.
Bam!
Grand Elder Caira slam the table, "What proof do you need?! You will believe him! You will all believe him!" She loudly berated.
Grand Elder Caira was fuming in anger. What proof does he need? What if this talent got offended and decided to leave their Sect? Not go say his other affinities, just his Space affinity was enough for him to be treasured to extreme!
Suddenly, it dawn to her that this kid have the status of Outer-Peak disciple...
This group of imbeciles! Nurturing the so called talented individuals while leaving the true talent outside, struggling to earn for his cultivation!
Blue veins started to appear on the Grand Elders face, looking like it will pop in any second...
Seeing that the atmosphere in the room started to heavy, he tried to broke the silence, "Actually..."
In that instant, Grand Elder Caira face Cole with warm smile, as if it was spring. "Yes?"
Cole literally turn speechless. Just how fast the mood change? Millisecond?
Cole shake his head internally, "Well, the truth is..." He then briefly explain the chain of events why he was sended to do the mission of Flowedhead Forest.
After Cole's long speach, Grand Elder Rose look at him more intensity, as if she can't wait to swallow Cole whole.
He's actually a beast tamer! He even have elementals as his summons!
Grand Elder Caira knew that beast tamers was look down in the low lands as it was dubbed as untalented path by the locals, however, she don't believe this. Perhaps in this lands, they'll be for those without real talents, but at Middle Lands, at Eastern Continent or Western Continent, even at the Saint Lands, this are not the case!
This was becuase after beast reach Tier-4, their soul are starting to get stronger, greatly enhancing their intelligence. In the subsequent level, their intelligence will reach the level like of humans, even surpassing them.
And with awakening of their intelligence, standards and complicated thoughts will also appear to appear to them. One of those thoughts was like how humans hunted beast for different purposes, beast will also hunts humans to promote themselves.
Taming, on the other hand, according to prideful beast, was no different from slavery. Which was why there were countless scenery of beast will rather die than follow the commands of humans.
This was why beast tamers was one of strongest and feared path among others. Even if they only have one tamed beast, that will be no different from battling with four arms. What's more scary about them was mostly, tamers usually don't have just one beast, there were other more! Tamers being dubbed as one-man army was not even an exaggeration.
What's more? This disciple even have elemental spirit as his summons! And according to them, he don't only have one but two; an Wood Elemental Fairy Spirit and Water Elemental Twin-Fish Spirit.
Taming spirits are five fold, no, ten fold more harder than beast. That was because unlike beast, elementals, from the very start, are very intelligent. They also have more and arduous requirements.
Among a hundred beast tamers, there were only one spirit tamer. It could easily be tell just how hard it is to tame spirits.
"About your reward... I'll send it personally to your league base when I visit there. I'm afraid this group of fools might cheat you again," she said with condemning tone.
The other just have a wry smile on their faces. Well, they do send him on a mission no different from suicidal one...
"Anyway... Let me properly introduce our selves first. This one is called Caira and I'm a Grand Elder of Five Element Sect at the Eastern Continent." She briefly introduced herself. She then pointed the group of youths seated among with them, "And these groups of youths are seeded disciples of our Sect." The youths all show their different signs and gestures of greetings and acknowledgements.
"Outer Peak Disciple Cole have seen Grand Elder Caira and fellow disciples." He showed his own courtesy.
Grand Elder Caira's face darken visibly, "Before anything else, let's change your status rank first. From now on, you're promoted from Outer-Peak disciple to Core disciple. And not that just from here, also at the Eastern Continent's Five Element Sect."
She pause as she gave a glance every higher-ups on the table, "Is there anyone who wanted to object?"
Those glance at didn't even show any objection. They were already fried to toast just a moment ago, who wants to show opposition now?
Seeing no reaction and any blatant discrimination, Grand Elder Caira showed a rare smile on her face. She's greatly satisfied. It seems that this group still have a hope after all.
Suddenly...
"I object."
Grand Elder Caira's face darken again. However, this one who oppose was from the group of disciples she brought to her.
She also have an imbecile in her group!
