In the end, Grand Elder Caira personally mediates their two bets.

Cole's stake was still the same, a single drop of Water of Life while the other side was changed. Instead of ten [Void Breaking Pill], Grand Elder Caira add another five, making it have a total of fifteen pills.

Cole felt that the stake wasn't fair anymore. However, Grand Elder Caira said that although it's true that their stake somewhat exceeds the value of Cole's item, it must be know that Water of Life was one of very rare item nowadays. There is no traces of elves in this world anymore. [Void Breaking Pill] could be refined as long as there's an Alchemist and ingredients, however, Water of Life can't be reproduced by anyone.

Now, him and Ryan is facing each other.

After Cole's show of his capabilities, Ryan can't help but take this battle more seriously. He don't know how sturdy his turtle shell barrier is but Grand Elder Caira's praise say how amazing it was. What more, he could also use an instantaneous movement technique, [Teleportation].

The most troublesome about those Space affinited person was there superior movement technique. It was no exaggeration to say that those people was best for preserving their life.

After some time, Ryan raise his brows and ask, "You're not summoning your beast?"

Cole didn't answer him.

The truth is, Cole's current level is Peak Eight-Level of Nascent Soul-Stage with 96% progress. If he wanted to he could make another breakthrough to the next level.

Due to this sudden leap of his levels from the system, missions rewards, the levels of his beast started to get left behind. Now, they were all focus on cultivating inside the [Inner World] in hopes of catching up to him. With their deep determination, Cole can't take himself to disturb them. And so, if the situation wasn't really needed, he won't summon them for the mean time.

Fortunately, he could still use [Soul Mimicry]. With this certain technique, he don't have to worry for incoming battles, just like now.

But after some thought, he don't want the others to think badly of him. And so, he honestly said his summoned beasts and spirits current situation;

"My beasts and spirits are currently focusing on cultivation. I won't summon them for the meantime."

When Cole didn't immediately answer his question, Ryan started to feel insulted as he perceive that his opponent belittle him, as though he don't need to summon his beast just to beat him. However, when he heard the reason why, all the frustration vanish.

He's a cultivator himself, he knows that it's bad to disturb others in their seclusion. And knowing beast tamers, he knew that his opponent treated his pets as family and not tools, definitely, he won't disturb their cultivation.

"Then don't regret it later." Ryan said, his tone a little arrogant.

Cole just smile and chose to remain silent.

Moments later, Grand Elder Caira finally shouts the cue, "Begin!"

Instantly, Ryan shot himself towards Cole as fast as a bullet. Without even a trace of doubt, he took the initiative to attack. He stirred all of his energies inside his body, using his movement and footwork technique to the extreme, in hopes of appearing in front of his opponent.

If one wants to defeat an Space-type cultivator, one must have a incredible speed, or else, they won't even touch a single strand of their hair, much less defeat them. And since he knew already that his opponent could use instantaneous movement, [Teleportation], they he must close the distance between them before he could make himself teleport.

Ryan focus to the extreme, his eyes have a very ruthless gleam as though it was also a saber who wanted to cut his opponent into pieces.

However, after going halfway, he could feel an assualt in his mind, "Soul attack!" He exclaimed inside his head, surprised.

Immediately, he stirred his Sea of Consciousness and makes his most powerful mental barrier. But the moment he did, the pain on his vanish which signifies that the soul attack was finished.

His brows knitted, "What was that?" He ask himself as he instinctively check his surrounding.

Then he saw his opponent on his original position just like he remember. In that instant, his opponent have started to form a swords made of water. It was a very familiar move since another disciple use that kind of technique.

As far as he remember, it was the little guy who have a very high quality Martial Spirit. Compare to that's disciples' manipulation, his opponent's looks simple and crude. Although it have the shape, the attacks was no different from a clump of water instead of sword.

Seeing that there's no problem, Ryan shot himself to the other while repelling a number swords in his way.

On the other hand, Cole look at Ryan's figure with surprise. It seems that the people from the Middle Lands was truly different from here as they were already powerful despite their age and they were also very high quality. Normally, they were more powerful than their counterparts from Low Lands.

As for why he could say this... Well, that's because he already make his assualts.

Yes, he already make his move. And that is Blue's [Thousands Illusions] and [Mental Corrosion] through [Soul Mimicry].

Ryan's soul was very powerful. If not becuase his very own soul force was more powerful than his opponent, his move might have failed.

Surprisingly, Ryan's Soul of Consciousness was like a sea full of sword, the wind in there can cut the invading entities like a grinder.

But still, he still fall deeply on the illusion.

In Cole's move, he could say that Ryan have a cultivation level of Peak Nascent Soul-Stage. Which means that despite his age, he already have the same strength of Grand Elders of the Five Element Sect.

Unfortunately, after Cole's beast taming, his second strongest suit was his Soul.

One of the rewards he received was an Innate Ability called [Strong Soul] which always make his Soul three levels more powerful than his cultivation level. His current level was Eight-Level of Nascent Soul, which makes his soul as powerful as Peak Nascent Soul-Stage.

Supposedly, with the [Strong Soul], his soul should have the strength of First-Level Void Sensing-Stage, however, this level was actually very hard to reach. Still, his soul was invincible among Nascent Soul-Stage. Which means that on and lower than Nascent Soul, all of his opponents will fall to his illusions.

On the other side, all of the spectators have a shock on their face, specially the youths with him. This was because their leader was actually... attacking the air. If the seriousness of his face when he's on an attack mode, or if they don't know him, they'll definitely think that he's crazy. Attacking the air as though he's fighting a ghost.

Grand Elder Caira, on the other hand, have a very excited expression. Among the group of people here, she have the most decent cultivation, much higher than the current Sect Master. This was why she could see the logic behind the scene.

There's only one thing she could say, amazing! To think that his Soul is more powerful than his Space! Is this because he's a beast tamer..?

The whole spectacle looks strange and boring due to the lack of actions. However, everyone watch it with all their focus.

Suddenly, Ryan creates a small distance. Then he return his saber back to its sheath and strong momentum was emitted from his body.

Those who know him knew that he's preparing his final and strongest attack.

Wind was stirred around his body and great amount of dust flew to the air, and Ryan started to emit an aura like saber, hidden from its sheath but ready to kill when drawn. Very deadly.

Since Cole was near from the guy, he could feel it very clearly.

Seconds later, Ryan's momentum reach the peak. He then assume an attacking poise, holding the sheath of his saber. After that, he reappear from his former position and whisper, "[Phantom Slash]."

Only the sound of cutting the air was heard, however, the saber looks like wasn't drawn from its covering.

Cole knew that it wasn't because it wasn't drawn, but because the whole process of attack was very fast as though it wasn't really existing, like a phantom.

After the attack, Ryan's was breathless. The attack was powerful, however, it could easily seen that it was a very taxing one.

Ryan took a deep breath before he straighten his back and make himself look dignified.

"I admit defeat."

The scene should have look more imposing, a warrior admitting defeat naturally as he knew that his opponent was more powerful than him... But the battle was very simple and crude, the other one remain on his original spot, unmoved, while the other was keep on slashing the air in front of him.

But no matter how hard they look at it...

Second after Ryan admits defeat, the 'Cole' in front of him dissipated like a smoke and all of the traces of the battle disappeared.

"Thank you for letting me win, Disciple Ryan." Ryan heard from the right direction. He immediately looks at him. If he didn't know that the other could use teleportation, he'll think that he's been fooled.

As clueless as he is, Ryan answered honestly, "Its becuase fellow disciple is strong." No matter where part of the world, strong was the most respectable. In that instant, Ryan look at Cole as an equal. All of his mentality that the one was a people of Lower Land and inferior vanish into thin air.

Then he started towards his group. He have a very dignified expression as he knew that eventhough he lost, he give all and use his capabilities and skills to extreme. But why his teammates looking at him wierdly...

When they arrived there and ask why, the others told him what they saw and what is the 'real' flow of the battle.

In that instant, Ryan's face pale. That soul attack... It's not that it wasn't finished but he actually fall to it in the next second, can't even resist... Just how powerful the other side's soul strength?!

Then Ryan told honestly that he most likely fall to some kind of illusion...

Illusions are very easy to detect if they ever fall to one. That is becuase illusions will always have a sudden huge change of the surrounding. For instance, they were in land but will suddenly appear at the bottom of the ocean, one could easily tell that there's something different happen.

However, the other actually creates an illusion that was easy for the caster to cast and easy for the victim to believe. If his teammates don't inform him, he'll likely believe that all of what happen is the truth. Besides the change of position, there's no other changes in the illusion, as though he doesn't fall the one.

That was only then Ryan knew just how scary his opponent actually is. If it was a life and death battle, with all of his openings exposed to the opponent when he's under the illusion, the other could easily kill him exploiting that. For a strong and skilled cultivator, just a single opening in their defense could drastically change the flow of the battle...

On the other side, Cole don't have to approach Grand Elder Caira as the elder the one who go towards him.

The moment the Grand Elder appear in front of him, fifteen jade vials floats in the air and the single vial of Water of Life.

Cole immediately put the fifteen jade vials to his storage ring and he left the vial of Water of Life.

According to what the Grand Elder said before, Water of Life was the more rare than [Void Breaking Pill]. Most likely, he'll be hunted by everyone if they knew that he have the Water of Life. Meanwhile, with [Void Breaking Pill], he'll just be hunted by Low Land's people. Those at upper lands, this pill was rare but could be find.

And so, he wanted to transfer the hot item, Water of Life, to Grand Elder Caira. He wanted them to know that the item is not on his hands.

Although this place only have important personnels of the Sect, there's no such full loyalty and strong walls. Those people's, like a being normal, are afraid of death, and, definitely, these information will not stay in this place.

But he's not afraid of them. He have a very powerful backer, Matriarch Mayana of Elm Elf Tribe. In the lower lands like this Azure Territory, she's no different from overlord. There's hardly an opponent for her.

Grand Elder Caira smile knowingly. She could deduce what's his plan. However, she still can't deny the temptation of Water of Life. This single drop of liquid have many uses specially for her who's an Alchemist. She could refine many superior healing and regeneration pills.

As though there's a tacit understanding with them, Grand Elder Caira nodded her head as he put the vial back to her storage ring.

"I'll give the payment to you when I go visit your league." She said.

Cole just smile and nods.
