After he read the brief description, Cole knew that this was truly the system wanted him to acquire. It looks like this one is the beast who could tear formations, which means that the three puppet beast who managed to survive the self destruct explosion could now be freed.

Those three beast was the Savage Wolf, Ferghana Horse and Poison Cloud Lion. These three beast were under the care of the elves as despite being a soulless, practically being a puppet, their body was still of living, they still need to eat food or the body will cease to function. When call trace it, he was directed to the plain looking sheet of paper below in the podium. It was the second item for the auction.

With the first item as the example, all the people inside the venue knew that the group inside the private room are very rich, probably on par or more powerful than sect of beasts, the Holy Beast Mountain. In addition to the items unknown use and lack of introduction which greatly degrades its value, no one fight Cole for the second item. He easily acquire it.

Cole smile when he holds the bleak sheet of paper. Knowledge and information truly is power, after all, who would've thought that this old paper was actually a Divine-Rank part of True-Rank Equipment?

After that, he enter once again the mystical state where two souls was creating a harmonious connection.

As expected, the little beast was just an infant. When they encounter themselves with one another with their soul state, in addition to Cole's soul having a trace of aura of Messiah Tree which is very attractive especially for young beast, the little transparent soul mouse immediately accepted his soul connection.

Just like its physical body's state, the soul of the infant beast also looks very sleepy and lethargic, an effect of administered drug to the beast to be auction to avoid rebellion. But when the soul connection is created, all of it vanished and the little rat turn very lively. It then circle Cole's soul which have the shape of the tree.

"Squeak~ Squeak~" It happily cry.

Cole's soul tree swayed as he envelope the little rat's with his Soul-Energy, creating a scenario of hugging.

It lasted for a moment before he decided go exit the soul state.

When he woke up, the curled little beast inside the cage instantly open its dark eyes and restlessly jumps inside the cage.

"Squeak! Squeak!"

Cole chuckle before he open the door of the cage. The little beast, despite still a Tier-1 Beast, runs very fast, comparable to a normal Peak-Level Tier-2 Wild Beast speed. This greatly shows both the innate fast speed of both rodent and Space.

"Squeak! Squeak!" It runs towards Cole's shoulder and show it's affection by rubbing his face.

Cole rub affectionately the infant beast back, of course, with a little force. After some time, he finally said orally and also through their soul connection, "Allright, that's enough for now. Sleep first so you can grow up."

As though it was very intelligent already, the little beast cry for the last before before it curl in Cole's palm, assuming a sleeping position.

Cole smile at the little beast before he chanted inside his head the Summoning Grimoire skill, [Retract], and send it inside the [Inner World], on the very side of the Messiah Tree.

The whole process lasted for half an hour.

When Cole raise his head and look at others, he saw an amaze expression in their face. Only Lilia didn't look at him for a moment as she was occupied on bidding the herb presented on the podium.

Cole just nod at them before he close his eyes. But he didn't meditate, instead, he check the Treasure Hunter Rat status inside his Sea of Consciousness.

On Earth, rats are known as pest, be it on urban or rural area. But this Treasure Hunter Rat is definitely the greatest pest in the cultivation.

Although there were storage or spatial rings where the treasures could be stored but most of the time, cultivators only put basic necessities on it. Those very precious treasures or items, normally, it will be left to their own house where security was very tight.

Since Ryan knew Cole have the ability to cast illusions, which effectiveness relies on casters' soul strength, having his soul reached the standard of Void Sensing-Stage is a great boon in the upcoming ruins exploration. The ruins contains many danger inside which includes formations, beasts, foreign entities, even the other explorers could even turn to one of those dangers...

Grand Elder Caira, on the other hand, exclaimed, "You must become an Alchemist!" She stated.

The excitement on Grand Elder Caira's face are very apparent. To become an Alchemist, one must have a powerful soul. That was because the art rely heavily on soul strength. This was also the reason why Alchemist have small number compare to population of whole cultivators. Grand Elder Caira nodded, "I know."

She didn't even try to stop Cole from joining the ruin exploration. She didn't know where it comes from but her intuition told her that the dangers inside can't threaten this simple looking disciple.
