Harleys POV
Tired was an understatement. I was completely exhausted. I didn't get as much rest as I had hoped before I had to wake up and attend to my duties. My heart was extra heavy this morning since I had a vivid dream about Avery and my family. My dad had to take us all camping one summer, Avery and I's junior year. She woke up with a moth perched on the bridge of her nose and started screaming so loud she woke up everyone on the same campground as us. I laughed so hard I had tears streaming down my face at the end.
The sadness crept up on me as soon as I woke up. I forced myself out of bed and to get dressed. Rachel and Brooke had given me all of their hammy downs, so I didn't have to wash and wear the same clothes every day. Brooke even gave me some boots that no longer fit her. Last night, I heard loud voices coming from outside the room. In the wee hours of the morning, I heard doors slamming and even louder voices than earlier. Rachel and Brooke weren't awakened by the sudden noise like I was. Rachel told me she was used to all the chatter and loudness that happens at night, and I would get used to it too. She even offered to lay with me till I fell asleep. Just like Avery and I used to do. It was short-lived since she had to get up even earlier than me to work.
Once I'd showered and got dressed, I left the room in a slight hurry since I had spent a little too long trying to tame my wild hair. "For the boss," one of the maids said as soon as I walked out of my dorm and handed me hangers full of dress shirts, T-shirts, and a hoodie. A hoodie I've never seen the boss wear. I didn't even know he owed casual attire.
"Thank you. I'll bring it up to him now." I nodded and smiled brightly at her. The pile was heavy, but nothing I couldn't handle. The issue was being able to see over the mound of clothes.
"No problem." She smiled back and walked away. With that, I took the stacks of clothes in my small hands and walked up the long flights of steps to the boss's floor. It was tiring having to walk up and down the steps while most of the guys used the elevator, but the staff was strictly permitted to use the elevator. I learned that the hard way, but it seems like I was learning everything the hard way while being here.
"Hey, Harley." A voice said from in front of me. I couldn't see their face past all the clothes I had in my hands.
"H-hi." I stuttered, unsure of who I was talking to.
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry." The voice said. With a confused expression, I tried to shift my body to see this person. I hadn't recognized him from anywhere. He was an average looking buff member. "Oh, I'm Antonio. I just wanted to say sorry." He was on his knees, looking up at me with pleading eyes. What was he talking about?
"S-sorry but for what?" I asked frantically. "You didn't do anything to me. G-get up, please." I said, grabbing his arms, showing I wanted him to stand up. It felt weird having this guy on his knees in front of me.
"Yes, I did." He looked as if he was going to cry.
"D-don't cry." I shook my hand at him, which he latched on to. "It's okay!" I smiled. "I for-" I began but was interrupted by a chilling voice.
"That's enough. Get out, Antonio." He said sternly in front of me, but I couldn't see him. Every day, chills ran through my body when he spoke. I don't think I'll ever get used to it. "Hurry up." He barked, and the man named Antonio scurried off down the steps. Still confused by the events that just happened, I turned my body to see sir standing in front of me.
"What was that about?" I asked him.
"Come." is all he said and motioned for me to follow him with his finger. He opened the door to his bedroom and walked in, allowing me to walk in after him. After I did, he shut the door behind me and proceeded further into the room. Unexpectedly, he began grabbing clothes from the top of the pile and placing them on his bed without a word. Just the sound of the clattering hangers as they were being thrown on the bed and heavy breathing from me sounded in the entire room. It hadn't even been 5 minutes, and my body was already sweating profusely. The silence in the room was more uncomfortable since he had offered no explanation to what had just happened nor addressed me at all. When the last couple of items of clothes were left, I placed them on the bed gently instead of him. After, he did nothing but stand and look at me for a long while. I didn't know where to put my eyes during this time, so I focused on one aspect before opening my mouth to speak.
"Is something wrong?" I asked, "Do I have something on my face?!" I panic whispered loudly. "A crumb? I haven't eaten anything, though." I spoke more to myself than him.
All of a sudden, I heard a chuckle leave his mouth. My eyes snapped up to him rapidly when I heard the sound. He grinned for a moment. Not in the evil way he usually does, but in a genuine way I've never seen. His dimples were so deep, and his teeth perfectly aligned and sparkly white. It was gorgeous. It didn't last long before he returned to his normal cold face and walked away into his closet for a brief moment. Even if it was for a second, it was great to see.
"Do you need anything else?" I asked while he walked back into the room.
"What's your favorite color, Harley?" He completely ignored my question.
"Um-" it was very sudden, but nonetheless, I managed to stutter out an answer. "I-I like all colors a lot but probably green," I answered awkwardly. "What about you?" I asked. He looked taken aback by my question. I always knew how to say the wrong things, so I suppose this was one of those situations but to my surprise, he answered casually.
"I think, blue." He replied. I didn't seem convinced since everything in his room and closet were either black white, or gold.
"Then how come you don't own anything blue?" I asked.
"Blue isn't very professional." He said.
"N-not everything has to be professional all the time," I replied. "If you want to wear something blue, just do it." I saw a slight smile play on his lips, but it never erupted into an actual smile.
"I have this hoodie. It's blue." He said, holding up the hoodie I had just brought with the rest of my clothes.
"That's denim blue, not blue blue. It doesn't count." I shook my head playfully. It wasn't until right now that I realized we were having a normal conversation. It was nice. "Plus, I've never seen you wear that," I added
"That's because it's more for after-hours wear." He breathed out. He smirked at his own words. He inched towards me slowly as he talked. With the same devilish look, he gave me the first day I started working for him. "Are you trying to say you want to see me after hours, Harley?" He purred close to my face. A wave of goosebumps invaded my skin, and I shivered a little at his low, breathy voice. His familiar woodsy smell filled my nose when he lowered his head down to my ear.
"W-what. N-n-I mea-" I stumbled all over my words as my thoughts couldn't form a sentence that made sense.
"Go eat something." He suddenly moved away from me and said. "We can't have you going hungry, can we?" he added.
Although I was completely frazzled and confused by his sudden attitude, I nodded my head curtly and moved towards the door. My skin was scorching hot from the touch, so I knew my face had to be entirely flushed when I left the room. I felt his eyes on me while I was walking out of the door. After I made it outside, I let out a deep sigh and hurried down the steps. His behavior left me startled yet drawn to his alluring conduct.

Three days later
"Guys get the fuck up; you won't believe who just got here?!" Brooke came into the room, screaming at the top of her lungs as Rachel, Tessa, and I laid in our beds, each occupying ourselves with books and light chatter.
"Why are you yelling right now?" Tessa looked at her, annoyed.
"Get up! Come look at who just walked in with the boss!" Brooke grabbed my hand and pulled me down from the top bunk to the floor.
"I'm coming," I whined and followed her out of the door while Tessa and Rachel trailed behind us.
The lobby had more people than usual in it. Sir stood next to Henry and Felipe while they chattered with a group of men I didn't recognize. Their backs were to me so that I couldn't see their faces.
"Who are they?" I turned to Brooke and whispered.
"Sanchez brothers," Brooke whispered back. "They are the boss's blood cousins."
"Cousins?'" I asked, "Why are they here?" They looked like they were in deep conversation about something. Sir had a scowl on his face, and Henry didn't have that warm look he usually had on his face.
"I don't know." Brooke shrugged. "but aren't they so hot! Look at him." She said, pointing to the farthest guy to the left. He was tall and lanky with long black hair tied into a low bun. "Just take my word for it; he is completely gorgeous. Uh, I want to touch him" She squealed and clapped her hands together silently. They all had tall large builds. One buffer, one lanky, one shorter than them all, and one fleshier. They all look handsome from what I could tell.
"Why are they here? The last time I saw them was 8 months ago." Rachel added behind us.
"We don't know." Brooke shrugged. Brooke and Rachel began chatting amongst themselves on why they think they are here. While they dreamed up an amusing conspiracy, I thought about Daniel Miller. I wonder if they know something about him or if they are even talking about him right now. "Harley, go get my camera from my room. I want to take a picture of them." she was too cheerful.
"ok." I nodded and turned to get it, but before I could, sir's voice stopped me in my tracks.
"Harley." He called out to me.
"Y-yessir." I turned all the way around so I could look at him properly. I put my hands in each other and tried to ignore the fact that everyone's eyes in the room were now looking at me, including sir's massive cousins.
"Meet us in my office. Bring coffee for everyone." He said quickly and began walking up the steps, not even waiting for my response.
"yessir," I said to myself. The men followed behind, sir, but one of them lingered behind and continued to look at something that caught his eye for a moment before completely turning around.
"Ass kisser." Tessa hissed when she walked past me.
"You're so lucky, Harley. You have a front seat to everything that happens around here. Tell me what information you learn." Brooke said.
"There is no way she is going to be allowed to disclose anything, Brooke. You know this." Rachel rolled her eyes. "Just be careful." She told me, and I smiled and nodded.
"Always," I answered and waved bye to them. I went straight to the kitchen to get all 7 cups of coffee and bring them all upstairs. My breath was heavy after climbing up all the steps to the second floor. Nonetheless, I continued to the door but careful not to drop any of the hot steamy liquid on me. Except I didn't have to worry since I got some help along the way.
