To focus on something other than Lamar, Amiyah decided to visit her dad.
Her dad sat in front of her and they both picked up the know.
"Hey dad", Amiyah said with a smile.
"Your smile always brightens my day", he said. "But this one doesn't seem all that real"
Amiyah sighed. "I'm okay, dad. I just have a lot going on", Amiyah said.
"Yea. Well you won't believe who I saw", her dad said. "The guy who put me in here"
"...you didn't say anything to him, right?", Amiyah asked.
"Yea, I did", he said. "He didn't care"
"...what's his name?", Amiyah asked.
"Listen, Amiyah it has been years on top of years. It doesn't matter if I stay here or get out. I will always be a murder to other people", he said.
"But at least you'll be free", Amiyah said.
"I'll never be free", he said.
"Dad just tell me his name", Amiyah said. "I just... I just wanna talk to him. I just wanna know why he did what he did"
"Amiyah, no", he said. "I get that you're a lawyer now, because you want to get me out of here but-"
Amiyah cut him off. "Dad, please. I don't ask for much and this is the only thing I want", Amiyah said. "I just want his name"
"...okay fine. His name is Harrison Hunter", he said.
Amiyah typed it in her phone.
"Just don't push his buttons alright", he said.
"Alright", Amiyah said. "I will come back to see you in a couple days"
"Alright. Be careful out there, remember what I always told", he said.
"Sometimes you have to prepared for anything. The world is crazy and you can only protect yourself", she said mocking what he always said. "Yes. I have protection at the house, and in the car, sometimes in my purse but of course that couldn't come in here"
Her dad nods.
"I love you", she said.
"I love you too", he replied.
The both put the phone back and Amiyah got up. She walked to the lady who get the prison's to come out.
"Hey, I'm here for my client. Harrison Hunter", Amiyah said.
The lady nods.
Minutes later, Harrison came to sit down in front of Amiyah. He had bruises on his face and arms. He picked up the phone and spoke.
"You're no my lawyer", he said.
"You're right. I'm not. I'm just a person who wants answers", she said.
"No", he said.
"Please", she said.
"What do you want?", he asked.
"Did somebody talk to you about confessing to a crime you committed 12 years ago?", she asked.
"Yes. Some lunatic", he said.
Amiyah made a face.
"That's why i have think shit on my face", he said. "He tortured me. So I just said fuck and confessed to something else i did to get away from him. My life wasn't shit anyways. I just didn't think he deserved to get what he wanted"
Amiyah got quiet. "...he- he tortured you?", Amiyah asked.
"Yea. But I didn't see his face so I can't tell you who is way or where I was. I woke up in from glass cell", he said. "It looked like I was in a basement"
Amiyah looked down.
"Why do you care anyways? And how do you even know me?", Harrison asked.
"Nothing. Thank you for your time", Amiyah said before putting the phone back and getting up. She walked out of the prison, wondering what she gotten herself into. Not only that but she really thought he was the guy for her but he wasn't. She started to believe that he probably did kill his ex-girlfriend.
Amiyah got into the car and drove off. Little did she know, Lamar was sitting in his car from a distance. He had been following her because he thought that she was going to see somebody else. He just assumed that she just visited her dad.
Lamar started the car and continued to follow her.
As Amiyah drove, she called Bianca but she didn't answer once again. This time she decided to go by her house. Bianca's car wasn't there so Amiyah just went on home. Once she got home, she looked over at Lamar's house and noticed his car wasn't there.
She pulled into her driveway and started to think about what Harrison said. How he said he was in some basement and how Lamar was acting when she almost opened the basement door once. She sat there for a moment to think about it then got out of the car. If she was going to find anything out about Lamar that he had covering up that was more than just seeing multiple people, which is why she had Bianca look into him, social media wasn't going to help.

Amiyah next day got to work and Bianca wasn't there. For thought that Bianca was just busy yesterday but the fact that Bianca didn't return any of her calls and that she wasn't at work, being that Bianca is a perfectionist, she was beyond worried.
Amiyah walked to their bosses office and knocked on the door.
"Come in", he said. His voice was pretty deep.
Amiyah opened the door and walked in.
Her boss was an older white man. He had dark brown hair but some grey was coming in.
"Yes, Mrs. Wilson?", he said.
"Hey. Have you heard from Bianca?", she asked.
"Yes. Bianca is taking PTO", he said.
Amiyah nods. "Thank you", she said. "Have a nice day"
"Before you go. I just wanted to say great job so far. Keep it up. You and Bianca actually", he said.
Amiyah fake smiled. "Thank you", she said.
He smiled nodded.
Amiyah walked out of his office and as she walked to her desk she felt like she was about to have a panic attack but she kept herself calm.

(WITH BIANCA)
Bianca was starving. She hadn't ate since Saturday afternoon and it was Monday. She had been sitting in the dark ever since she got there. Finally the light switched on and Bianca could barely keep her eyes open.
Lamar looked at her then looked away as he walked to a drawer.
"Can I please go?", she said. But Lamar could hear her. The mic was not on.
Bianca knocked on the wall.
Lamar looked at her and turned the mic on. "What?", he asked.
"I won't tell her, if you promise not to hurt her okay? Just please let me go", Bianca said. She was crying at this point.
"Why should I believe you?", Lamar asked.
"Because I'm not a liar", Bianca said.
Lamar rolled his eyes as he put something in his pocket.
Bianca watched him.
"I'm going to work", Lamar said.
"Oh my gosh", Bianca said. "My job. I can't miss work"
"it's something called PTO", Lamar said. "I emailed your boss. Well, you emailed him. I just did the typing"
"How did you get into my email?", she asked.
"I can get into a lot of things", he said. "Night night"
Lamar turned her mic off and walked up the stairs then turned the lights off and left.
Bianca sighed as she put her head against the wall and sat there.
