"Yes. I'm the father." I said without missing a beat. On that Daniel clenched his jaw and looked at me with something in his eyes that I couldn't really place.

"I don't like you." He said bitterly after some moments making a smirk pull on my lips.

"And I don't care. All I care about is her and her feelings. And my... our baby." I told him causing him to nod at me in some kind of approval.

"Why didn't you call me when she went missing?"

"Well as we said we thought that she was kidnapped so we didn't want to worry you.." Dante trailed of but then shook his head "I don't know." He said making Daniel sigh in disappointment and disbelief.

"She was by your story missing longer than three months and you didn't do anything in the contest of me? You didn't call me. Didn't you think it was weird.. that for example, I didn't hear from her that long?" He asked making all of us avert our eyes to the floor in shame.

I can't imagine how he is feeling right now because I was never in that kind of situation. However, I know that I would make a massacre if something like this happened to Bellissa. I would kill whoever hurt her, especially the way Antea was hurt.

"Why didn't you told her that you are the father? Are you even planning on doing that?" He asked looking at me.

I nodded my head slowly "I'm planning but I didn't want to scare her. You saw how scared she was last night with her parents next to her. I know about them and their relationship, Antea told me everything. So regarding that, I didn't want to cause more stress to her or to cause some kind of problems to the baby."

"Okay. I think that we are gonna go back home.." Daniel sighed standing up but I was quick to stop him.

"Don't. Please. Just stay here some more." I said but he only shook his head.

"I don't think so. I need time to process everything that you told me. We are going back home." He said as he started walking towards the exit of the living room but before he could walk out I caught his arm.

"Please don't go. Stay here. Give me some time with her." I begged making him look at me then at my hand on his arm "I love her. I was devastated when she went missing when I couldn't find her. I turned the whole world upside down for her but couldn't find her anywhere. And last night when I saw her... I just... I can't let her go away from me."

"You want the truth. I don't want you near her. I don't want to see her hurt." He said making my heart drop "But if she was.. if she was able to keep this kind of secret from me, she more than definitely loved you. What I want to know is how are you going to tell her about you being a father?" He inquired.

"I want her to get to know me first and then I'm gonna tell her about us. Slowly. Not to scare her." I replied making him nod at me.

"Are you going to tell her about the past? I mean about the fact that she lost a baby once before?"

I thought about it a little but then shook my head "I don't think that would be a good idea. I don't want to see her again in the state she was months ago."

"Okay. You are right. She probably won't remember anything from the past but.. tell her as much as you think she could take. Don't hurt her." He said as he shrugged my hand off his and continue to walk away. He stopped and glanced at us "If Antea would be searching for me tell her that I went for a walk." He said and left.

I turned towards guys who looked at the floor. "Well.." I started but got cut by Marino.

"He's mad and we fucked up. Badly." "Yes, indeed you did." Moreno exclaimed standing up.

"I don't know how are we going to fix it now," Dante stated looking at Marino who shook his head.

The day went by pretty awkwardly and I think that Antea caught on to that because she keeps asking Daniel and Dante if they are alright. They didn't want to worry her so they tried to act as normally as they could.



I could feel tension ever since we got back together to have dinner. Daniel seems tense ever since he came back from his walk. Something definitely happened but he just wouldn't tell me. He's kind of cold towards me and that concerns me because he was never like that to me.

"Do you want to add parmigiano to the pasta?" Matteo asked as he extended his hand with parmesan in it. I shook my head with a chuckle remembering my talk with Isabella earlier today. Poor her, she mixed all names. So instead of saying Matteo, she said Dante.

I must admit I like that name.. and that name made me think of names for the baby.

"What's funny?" He asked as he sat back down on his chair. "Nothing." I smiled sweetly at him making him look at me curiously. "Okay, tesoro. Whatever you say."

"How do you like it here so far?" Xavier asked breaking the silence that fell over us. "Well, it's nice. The weather is great so I thought about going on a walk, tomorrow, around the city." I exclaimed then turned to Daniel who seemed to be in his thoughts. "What do you say?" I lightly nudged him with my elbow.

His eyes snapped at me and he shook his head a little "Hmm?" He hummed "You said something?"

"Are you okay?" I asked concerned. He is acting really weird since this morning. "Yeah, don't worry. I'm fine." "You sure?" "Yeah, yeah." He said dismissively "What did you say?"

"I thought about going into the city tomorrow. So I.. do you want to go with me?" I looked at him hopefully.

"Yeah, sure." He said with a slight smile at the same time as Matteo. "We will go with you so you don't get lost. And we can show you around the city better than any tour guide." He said winking at me.

I felt Daniel stiffened next to me but before I could comment on that he grunted "It's not necessarily. We can find our way around."

A frown pulled on my face as I looked at the two of them. Silence fell over the table as everyone looked at the two of them.

"What is going on?" I thought out loud not even realizing that I said that. My eyes on their own filled with tears making their heads snap at me and their whole demeanor changed.

"Nothing happened." Matteo said with a smile trying to reassure me while Daniel pulled his chair closer to me. "Hey, look at me. Are you okay? Do you need fresh air?"

"Why are you two like this?" I asked making them frown at me. "Like what?" They said in unison. "You are acting weird. Everything was normal this morning." I sniffled trying to hold my tears.

Seeing this Xavier quickly stood up from his seat opposite of mine and circled the table to get to me. He crunched next to me "They had a little argument earlier, don't mind them. Are you done with eating? You want to go with me outside a little?"

Nodding my head I stood up "Yeah, I'm done." I said and took Xavier's hand when he extended it. But before we could leave the dining room a little hand stopped me and I lowered my gaze.

Emiliano's little hands wrapped themselves around me while his big blue eyes looked at me. Lifting his hands he mumbled "Up." Which made me bend down and take him in my arms.

While picking him in my arms I didn't miss Xavier's harsh glare towards guys. Turning around I looked at Daniel seeing his eyes softened when they connected with mine. He sent me sad smile mouthing 'I'm sorry.' On which I smiled a little at him.

We exited the dining room but before we could go outside Xavier stopped me. "I forgot something in the dining room. I will be right back. You can wait here for me here or go outside. There is a bench." He said turning around.



I returned back into the dining room finding it as I left it. Dante and Daniel glared at their plates while others around the table looked at them.

"What the fuck was that for?" I asked causing their heads to snap at the doorway where I stood.

"I..I just.." Daniel started at the same time as Dante. "We didn't mean.."

"She is pregnant. Her hormones are all over the place anyway. Fucking control yourselves. I saw her spill too much of fucking tears because of everything that happened before. And mark my words when I say that if she spills one, only one more tear, because of you, it won't end well." I said looking at them.

Daniel sighed heavily and looked at me "What the fuck you expect from me when you dropped a bomb like that on me?" He asked making me flume.

"What I want from you? I want you to be her brother. So get your shit together. Both of you." I said and with that turned and walked towards the backyard to join my amore.

[A/N] I think I never actually wrote an author note before, but there is a first time for everything, so hi. Hope you are all doing good and that you are safe. I also hope you like the story so far, it's boring but it's gonna get better later. :)
