Rose's POV

My smile widens more so when I see a familiar face in my class, Aiden. He waves me over to where he is sitting and I choose the seat to his left, only a few seats away from the window.

"Hey Rose! How has your day gone so far?" He asks, eyeing the vase of roses on my desk.

"Really great-" I begin a recap of my day. "And now I am the bearer and protecter of the sapienti est aura crystal." I finish. Aiden looks at me wide eyed.

"That's quite a day you've had." He chuckles, still in surprise. "But, I must say that you have a great eye for having picked out your items. They are all extremely well crafted and unique from the ones I have seen others choose." Aiden compliments. I thank him, looking at our instructor who just came through the door.

"Hello class, I am Mr.Kato. I will already tell you that we are going to work closely with Air Wielding classes this year, so don't panic if you see air masters watching our class. We have many new faces this year, only 3 of the 36 students in this class are returning Level 1 students." Mr.Kato says, his name meaning good judgement in Latin. I look at Aiden in a new light, he must be very advanced.

"We will head down to the gallery and get you newbies some items, then I will see how far your abilities have come. Now let's go." Mr.Kato motions. Aiden and I get up together.

"You know, it's kind of incredible how powerful you are." Aiden starts a conversation.

"What do you mean?" I ask for more clarification.

"Aside from being placed in every Level 1 class, your aura itself is quite powerful. I am the only student for a while who has been a Level 1 since my second year, and you will surpass me greatly." He tells me. I slightly still at the relegation. Aiden just gives me as small smile as we arrive at the items gallery once again.

"I'm going to get a piercing, why don't you come with?" Aiden asks. I nod my head, finding nothing better to look for. We get to the piercing station in the very back of the shop where earrings of all colors are displayed. Aiden looks around in both the water and nature sections of the displays. A different worker than last time comes out from the back.

"May I help you with anything?" He asks. Aiden shakes his head no, but I have a question.

"What if you want a piercing, but not necessarily on your ears?" I ask. The worker just chuckles.

"A daring one we have. Wait just a moment." I stay in my spot, waiting for the worker's return. When he does, he comes back with a brief case. "There are not too many times that people want a piercing that isn't on their ears, mostly because they are males. But, we do have an assortment of both nose and naval rings." He tells me, opening the brief case. I look at the nose rings, nothing really standing out. I move my gaze towards the belly rings and a bright blue one catches my attention. It has a in the shape of a lotus flower with quartz as apart of the side petals and the main petals made of Blue Calcite. Attached to the main stone is dangling diamond, the metal of the piercing itself silver.

I point to my item and the worker raises an eyebrow yet doesn't comment. He asks for my name then motions for me to lay on my back, sitting in the leather chair he has set up. I lift my shirt slightly, bearing my six-pack.

"Damn, I didn't know you were ripped." Aiden says, watching over me. I just shrug as the worker returns with some supplies. He rubs alcohol near my belly button, then tells Aiden to hold my hand. Aiden moves to hold my hand to 'ease my pain' and 'comfort me'. I just chuckle and tell the worker to get it over with, politely of course. He pinches the skin above my belly button and aligns the needle accordingly. I look up to the ceiling, not really wanting to watch the process. A couple moments pass by and I am about to ask why he hasn't started yet when he interrupts.

"Done." The worker says. I look at him wide eyed.

"Really? I thought you hadn't even started yet." I state shocked. The worker tells me that I might just have a high pain tolerance, also instructing me on how to take care of my piercing. Aiden informs the worker that he has picked out a pair of earrings, pointing to a sapphire blue pair. The worker nods, then looks to me.

"Here." He says, handing me some clothes. I raise an eyebrow, so he continues speaking. "You should put on these clothes to show off your new item, I already registered it. Plus, why wouldn't you go around showing off your abs to a bunch of horny, female-deprived boys?" The worker adds in as a joke. I just chuckle nervously at the thought, excusing myself.

I enter the shop bathroom and change into the clothes the worker provided for me. I roll my eyes when I see black booty shorts and a form fitting, black cropped tee on my body. I wonder how he got these girl clothes as I walk out the bathroom in confidence.

I walk towards Aiden, seeing many boys blush, others adjusting their pants. Gross. Aiden sees me and his eyes harden.

"You shouldn't be walking around like that. I don't know how many boys can control themselves, and I rather not let their hormones get in the way of your safety." He sternly says. "Of course, it is not your fault that you have .... um .... assets." Aiden awkwardly says.

"I understand what you mean. Although, I find it quite sad that I have to worry about male actions when I am wearing clothes I feel somewhat comfortable in. It is not me who should be changing my clothes, it should be the males learning self control." I sigh to Aiden. He nods sympathetically, fully knowing that there are some people who would take advantage of me given the chance.

"I see that everyone has registered an item, please make your way back to my class where I will begin my first lesson." Mr.Kato instructs. I walk with Aiden in silence, both of us lost in our thoughts. I am thinking about my safety, now that the topic has been brought up.

I guess I will just have to be more observant of everyone I come across, assessing their behaviors around me. I then try to brighten my thoughts by thinking about the items I have. My aura crystal lies comfortably on my neck. I have put my arm cuff on my right bicep and my bracelet on my left wrist. This is so that I do not overload one half of my body with my items. I also keep my Lucia family ring on my ring finger of my right hand. My head wear making me look like a goddess in human form, the diamond infused with Selenite grabbing everyone's attention.

Aiden and I sit back down in our seats, waiting for our teacher to begin speaking.

"Alright, my first lesson to you all will be about posture. As a Water wielder, your movements must be graceful and elegant. This all lies in the posture of your form. May Rose and Max please make their way down here?" I rise from my seat, walking to Mr.Kato in front of the class. I see a shaggy haired brunette beside me, he must be Max.

"As I was observing you all, two of you stuck out. Rose, I would like you to walk across this platform with these books on your head." My teacher tells me. I wonder what he is trying to prove, but I do as he says. I place the three books Mr.Kato pointed to on my head and walk across the teaching stage. None of the books drop, or even shift from where I placed them. I walk back across the platform, taking back my original spot from where I was standing. "Very good, you may return to your seat." He says to me. I nod and walk back to my seat, wondering what the point of this was.

"Max, your turn." My instructor says. Max places the same three books on his head, already having trouble balancing them. Within his first two steps, the books have fallen from his head, causing a thud when they reach the floor. He goes to pick them up when Mr.Kato interrupts. "That is alright. Please pick up the books and set them down. You may return to your seat after that." He states. Max does as he says, now sitting in his seat. I can't help but notice that Max's cheeks are tinted red from embarrassment.

"The reason for this demonstration is to show the importance of one's posture. I noticed that Rose walks with grace and seemingly perfect posture. Her back is straightened, her head up with her chin down. When she walks she is light on her feet, her body moving as one. Max has some things he could improve on posture wise. His back was slightly hunched, his head down. When he walks, you can hear each step he takes. Rose was able to walk across the stage with the three books on her head effortlessly, her posture never faulting. Max did not have any balance to begin with, that is why it was harder for him to keep the books from inevitably falling. Thank you two for allowing me to use you as examples." Mr.Kato explains, then finishes. He continues his lecture about posture and balance until the bell sounds.

"Expect to utilize today's lesson in tomorrow's class." Mr.Kato concludes. I wish Aiden goodbye as I walk with some pep in my step to my Life forms and Magical Creatures class. It doesn't take long for me to reach the class, seeing as how my excitement has my adrenaline pumping. I have read every book I can get my hands on about all of the magical creatures within every community. I see AJ, Danny, Tony and Oliver all sitting in seats by the window, the one closest to the window empty. I greet the boys. They turn their heads to me and widen their eyes.

"You look .... uh ... different." Danny says awkwardly.

"What he means is that you look younger since the last time we saw you. And with your items, you look really good." Tony tells me.

"I knew you were toned, but I didn't think you were this ripped. The piercing looks good though." AJ adds.

"Thank you I guess." I respond. I grab my gift for AJ before I forget and give it to him. "In my Nature class, we had to manipulate some stuff, like the roses for example. So I reformed a Green Fluorite crystal and made a chain for you. It's different from the other Level 1 chains but in a good way I hope." I tell him. He thanks me, putting it around his neck instantaneously. Just then, I see a quick motion at the front of the classroom. I turn my gaze to the movement and gasp. I don't believe it.

In the flesh is a Zmiulan. The creatures are like the slavic versions of dragons. I have never seen one in real life because they tend to stick to their companions or remain in large groups in their habitats. They are fiercely loyal and have the ability to shield themselves from predators by becoming invisible to the naked eye.

The species can reveal or choose not to reveal themselves in any given situation. The one before me has a wolf like front, it's wings in an ombré-ish pattern. The colors of its feathers contrast beautifully, making this one of the more powerful Zmiula. The more colors one bears, the more powerful they shall be. I can also tell that the creature in front of me bears much power because of its numerous head spikes. Sometimes, they won't have any, other times they will have a couple. The most powerful Zmiulan recorded yet was one who was very multi-colored, and had seven head spikes.

So I may have undermined my obsession with magical creatures, but I can't help myself. I find the topic very fascinating and can talk about it for hours on end. My instructor walks in after the Zmiulan, they must be companions.

"Hello everyone. My name is Miss Evelyn and I am your Life forms and Magical Creatures teacher. This year we will go over the specific magical creatures in every community, their powers and abilities, and other life forms that thrive off of each other in the supernatural world. Because there are more magical creatures at the sanctuary than ever before, this is the first year that you 15 year olds are allowed to apply for job positions. If your application is accepted, you will be paid based off of your work hours, job position, and effectiveness. So, for those of you looking to earn some extra money, an opportunity has risen." She tells everyone.

"My expectations are that you listen and take notes during my lectures. I am able to supply you all with a basic notebook for the year, so I will pass those around today. I expect you to bring your notebook to class everyday and ask questions whenever you are unable to get an answer. Most of my lectures turn into Q & A's, so when I am talking about a topic, make sure to pay attention. Also, I have the ability to recommend you for jobs at the sanctuary and for more advanced Magical Creature courses, so do your best to please me. With that being said, any questions?" Miss Evelyn asks. I raise my hand. She motions for me to speak, so I do.

"What is your companions name?" I ask. The rest of the year 1 and 2 students look at me in confusion, including my friends. Miss Evelyn has a look of shock plastered on her face.

"You can see him?" She questions. I nod my head, what is with me being able to see supposedly invisible things. She looks doubtful so I continue.

"He is a Zmiulan, a slavic dragon breed often times found in groups near the deserts of Egypt or mountains of the Himalayas." I tell her. Miss Evelyn nods towards her companion. I don't think anything has happened until I hear the gasps from my peers echo around me.

"His name is Fedir, it means gift from above in Slavic translation." My teacher answers my question. She points at a kid in the front, telling him to pass out the notebooks in the boxes near her desk. I thank him when he gives me mine.

"Your notebooks have four hundred pages in them, one hundred pages for each of the communities. You may personalize your notebook and notes however you may like, as well as organizing the creatures. Our first 'unit' will be on the water creatures of the Magii Community and how each individual thrives off of their environment." Miss Evelyn says. "Our first lesson will be about Kelpies. Kelpies-" I attentively listen to my teacher until very last minute, detailing my descriptions of Kelpies.

My notes look very readable and are pleasant to the eye, making it easier for me to study them. The bell rings and I am satisfied with what I have learned in class today. I walk with the boys to the canteen doors, waiting for the others to say grace. Those passing us give us questionable looks but we ignore them. When everyone is here, we gather hands and I lead grace, just as we planned this morning. I say goodbye to the 10 boys and enter the cafeteria. Now where am I going to sit?
