4 years later Ace "Papa, tell him to give it back" Nico yells

"No! It's mine , you lost yours, this is mine" Oliver yells back

I'm getting to old for this, honestly, I don't know how May deals with all of this, she's only 30, but I'm 36! Not much of a difference, but still!

Enzo is now 19, Theigo and Gio are 12, Roman is 10, Nicolas and Oliver are 8, Manolo is 6, and Elouise is 4.

"Shut it you two-" I am stopped mid sentence by a knock at my door.

"What" I yell, expecting it to be one of my men

I don't hear anything, only mumbling and lastly a quick 'sorry'. There's only one person who talks like that, Elouise.

I get up from my seat and open the door, just as I suspect, my little girl is walking down the hallway, probably to find someone else to hangout with since her mom is at work today.

"Elli" I say "come on hunny, come inside"

She quickly turns around and runs to me and I pick her up.

"Why didn't you just walk in Ellie?" I ask her

"I didn't want to disturb" she says- almost too quiet to hear

"You need to speak up Ellie" Oliver says

"Sorry" she says, hiding in my shirt

"Don't say sorry Ellie, we just need to hear you" her brother says again

"Hey Ellie" I hear Nico say, walking out of my office with his brother, "what's in your hand?"

"Pictures" she says quietly again

"Of what" I ask

"Our family" she says, slowly lifting her head from my shoulder

"Can we see Ellie?" Oliver asks

She doesn't say anything, just hands us the drawings

"Very nice, who's who?" I ask

Elouise spent the next 5 minutes explaining who everyone was, and what they were doing.

"Very nice Elouise" Nico says, and the little princess just blushes and hides in my shirt again ————————- May Thank god, I tell myself, I am finally home after a very long 12 hour shift at the hospital.

Typically I don't work that long because Ace ask my boss 'nicely' to have me work short hours, I later had to apologize, but the damage was already done. Not physically of corse, my boss is just now scared of me- great...

Anyways, I park the car and head towards the front door, last year Ace decided that we had to move, we still kept the old one, but only used it as a "coverup home".

This is because Ace and I were scared that more people would try to hurt us because they knew where we lived, so we only use the "coverup house" for parties or when we are having formal dinners with both allies and enemies.

The new home is about 30 minutes away from the old one, and it has a much different structure to it, both aesthetic wise and space wise.

Over the years I learned how much I hated a giant home, it would always make me feel disconnected from my family due to the amount of space between us, and it also worked as another work place for Ace and his team- I really didn't like that.







So I'm the new home, it is not only smaller, but also had a new feel to it, it was more homey than the mansion. Ace and I also agreed that we would chose who got to actually come to our new home, most people didn't even know that we moved, many thought we still lived in the old one.

Anyways, I took a short little walk to the front door and instantly I was hit with a variety of noises- the boys were playing video games in the living room, Elouise was coloring, like always. And Ace was coming down the stairs, looking nice and fresh from a shower I presume.

"Ah, hello love, how was work" he says hugging me

"Good good, I-"

"Mama!" I hear Elouise scream while she runs over to me

"Hey Ma" The boys say, not even looking away from their games

"Hello" I say walking over to them, "how was school, did you all do your homework?"

All I got was a variety of 'yah's'

"Hello" I say waving my hand "can you boys pay attention to your mother for one second?"

I just got a couple of 'uh huhs' followed by yelling towards the video game.

That's it, I think to myself

I walk over to the game set and turn it off

"Hey!" Gio yells , "why did you turn it off Mama?"

"Because you boys are always on it, come, time to eat. Did you order the food like I asked Ace?" I turn to my husband to is standing there nervously

"About that" he cuckles "I uh- I forgot"

I plop down into the couch and put my head in my hands, "really Ace? Really! I just got off of a 12 hour shift, I don't want to cook"

"I know, it just slipped my mind, I was helping Elouise-"

"Ha! As if papa, you were playing with us for 1 hour, and then went to take a shower because you knew mama would be home soon" Manolo says

"Why you little rat" Ace tells him

"Hush!" I yell, "I'm going to take a shower, and by the time I come down, there better be food, at I clear?"

"Yes love" Ace says, giving Manolo the stink eye

"And boy" I turn to look at them, and they all put their controllers down, trying to look innocent.

"Everything better be clean, I see wrappers on the floor, and drink everywhere, clean it all up. Or else you will all be sleeping outside tonight, got it?"

"Yes mama" they say in unison

"What about me mama, what do I do?" Elouise asks me in my ear once I'm up the stairs, she must have followed me

"You little missy, can clean up your papers and crayons"

She nods and scurries away

Thankfully after I was done in the shower Ace had gotten Chinese food delivered to the old house and brought it here so we all began happily eating.

Once in bed, I bundle myself up with blankets, its winter and I don't like feeling cold. Ace finally gets into bed and spoons me.

"We did good, didn't we?" I ask him

"Yes, yes we did, well you did, I'm just glad you allowed me to be a part of it all with you"

"I love you Ace"

"I love you too May"

Moments go by without us saying anything,

"I really love you" I hear him say quietly "You are my everything Mrs. Russi, my everything" and with that I get a kiss on the head.
