"pst, are you ok?" I jumped in my seat and looked at Ben with wide eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine."

The sudden claim seemed to get my whole family's attention. Could they see the truth? I wasn't fine. My family don't know it but they are getting closer and closer to knowing the truth.

My family will hate me.

When they know the truth and know what I have done they will never accept me. They only see me as the youngest mafia princess, a damsel in distress. They see me as innocent and weak. What will they do when they find out that everything, they know about me is a lie? But that isn't the only thing what is scaring me, will I ever get to tell them. Or will they find out when it is too late?

"ANGELINA!" I jumped once again when a hand was waved in front of me. "What?" I asked dumbfounded.

"We have been trying to get your attention for the last 10 minutes." John chuckled while putting his arm around Rose.

"Sorry," I muttered sheepishly. Suddenly Papa cleared his throat with Enzo nodding in his direction.

"Girls I wouldn't worry about the blacklist. We have made it our priority to protect you and you will be starting training sometime this week. You don't need to worry we will kill anyone who gets in the way. Even if its Sparrow and Blaze."

All the females even Mamma looked relief letting all papas false hope words sink into them. Every family member was afraid of my title, and the biggest thing what made me startled. Was that my own family are going to try and kill me without knowing that it is me.

Oh, the irony...

Just when you think your life can't get any harder it does. "Hey, dad can we go to the football game this Friday." My brothers scoffed loudly, and I looked at Rebecca with disbelief. Everyone found it hard to see if she was joking or not.

"Rebecca have you not listened to our previous conversation?" Luke asked rubbing his eyes. He looked so tired which I couldn't blame him. He had tweedled dee and tweedled dumber as daughters. Which I found was odd because uncle Luke was the smartest person in our family.

"But! We will be at the football game in public around LOTS of people! Besides Ben will be there!" Sam scoffed loudly smirking at Ben as he ruffled his hair.

"Sorry girls but benny boy can't go," Sam said in a mocking tone.

"Why!" Sophie whined. Everyone looked at the two in curiosity while uncle Bruno and Aunty Alice looked annoyed and tired.

"Buzz off SAM." Sam chuckled and taunted him further before telling us much to Bens discomfort.

"Ben here got caught taking drugs." Bens eyes shot to mine looking shameful while I gave him a sad smile.

Everyone now decided to give him a lecture while Ben sat next to me letting every disappointed word sink under his skin. I held his hand under the table giving him a tight reassuring squeeze.

"Hey! I think he has got the message so let him and his family deal with it and we all focus on ourselves." Ben looked at me gratefully while aunt Jessica looked at me with disgust.

"Angelina." Papa said lowly warning me not to 'step out of my place'. The rest of the dinner went ok and Laura and some of the aunts kept on asking about the mystery Blaze and Sparrow. They way they talked about us was like we are the ones they need to be running from. But if they knew boss and Tony they would already be running from the hills.

"Hello, my little ladybug." Great grandfather kissed my head as he sat down next to me on the counter. "Hey," I said quietly playing with my ice-cream while deep in thought. My whole family decided to play some board games together, but I politely declined.

"You ok?" He asked getting a spoon to share the ice-cream with me. "Yeah," I said furrowing my eyebrows. He hummed sound unconvinced. Which to be fair I wouldn't believe me either.

"Hey GG?" he hummed again this time giving me a soft smile. "do yo-don't worry about it." I stopped myself silently scolding myself. I can't let them in... If I let my family in, I am just putting them at risk. "You can tell me anything ladybug."

"When you love someone and let's say your family doesn't... what do you do? Do you choose the person you love or your family?" He was immediately taken back taking a few minutes to think.

"Well before your great grandmother I fell in love." He started with a small sad smile.

"You were in love before my great grandmother?"

He hummed quietly. "Yes, and she was the most beautiful woman I have ever encountered. Your great-grandma was beautiful too. But she..." he trailed off before clearing his throat.

"she was the daughter of a man my family would never accept. I wished with all my heart that I could be with her I even threatened running away with her at one point. But my father promised if I ever did, he would kill her." His tone suddenly changed, and he looked sad.

"I had to do what was right and doing so I didn't just break her heart, but I broke mine." I held his hand looking at him taking in his own grief. "I love my family. The family has always been the most important to Garcia's and Moretti's. But if I could go back to that day and if I could find a way to run away with her. I would..." The information was a lot to take in that I needed a few minutes myself. This was so unexpected and in ways, this information didn't help me at all. But just made it so much more complicated.

"Why did you ask ladybug?"

I sighed quietly. "No reason it was just something playing on your mind." He hummed again and smiled to himself.

"I know this may sound crazy but, in some ways... you remind me of her." I looked at him before kissing his cheek gently.

"Thanks, GG."

"Your welcome Ladybug and I hope that whatever is 'playing on your mind' gets fixed soon".

The next two days went so fast leading straight into Tuesday. The day I am meant to go on a date with Blaze. I don't know why I am so nervous about 1for the date. I have talked to him and slept with him for crying out loud. So why is going on this stupid bloody date affecting me so much?

What do you even wear on a date?

I've never been on a date in my life and in times like this I would ask Jace but right now he is on his own date with Olivia. I don't even know how I am going to sneak out tonight. MY dad has definitely increased the security.

I finally decided on wearing a red dress with small straps pairing it with a coat and silver heels. I already know that I am going to struggle walking and sneaking out in these.

But anything for the looks. Right?

"Hey, sweetie?" I heard a knock from the other side of the door.

"Don't come in I am getting dressed." I felt panicked, what if she comes in? then everything will be ruined.

"OK honey, I was just wondering if you wanted to watch a movie and maybe order some pizza. We could have a girl's night we haven't had one for so long." I sucked in breath rubbing my hand down my tired face.

"Sorry mamma but I'm going to bed a bit early tonight, I am rather tired." I could hear her sigh from the other side of the door.

"Ok honey you get some rest, Good night, I love you heaps."

"Night! Love you too," I don't think I had ever felt more selfish than what I do now. If I wasn't already starting to run late, I would chase her down.

But I don't...

I opened the window feeling somewhat thankful my brothers and father are away tonight on 'business'. I climbed the house gracefully and jumped down before sprinting down the estate and street with my heels in one hand. My hair was probably a mess now and I was a little scared to see how smudged my mascara was. I never like to wear makeup, and this is the reason why. But I thought I should because that is what girls do for a date.

"Your late," Blaze spoke coldly looking down at his watch then back at me.

"What are you? My father?" I rolled my eyes and jumped in his car while he held the door open. He started the car straight away and sat down all tense and with his jaw tightened. He looked at me then quickly averted his eyes back on the road.

"You look beautiful." He said almost as quiet as a whisper.

"I think my wild wind hair is a bit crazy but thankyou...you look handsome." I don't know why I was nervous. My cheeks burned as I complimented him. He truly did look handsome though. He was still wearing a suit but this suit had more of a casual look. He glanced at me taking in my state before smirking.

"So where are we going?" I asked looking out the window trying to figure out where we are going.

"That princess is a surprise." I rolled my eyes and sulked back into my seat. After living my life, I have grown to hate surprises with a passion.

"Well judging by our attire, I am going to guess we are going to a restaurant," I asked and only got a chuckle in response.

"This may come unappealing to you princess but for this surprise, you will have to wait." He smiled widely making my heart jump. His smile was so dashing with his sparkling white teeth and small dimples.

"I hate surprises no matter what it is." I seethed waving my hands in the air. He shook his head and smiled once again.

"Trust me, princess but I think you will like this surprise."
