"Break your engagement off with him or else we'll make sure office days living hell." I literally don't give a shit with this cliché ass talk so I quickly gathered Lincoln's stuff and shoved past these so-called ladies and went downstairs.

"What took you so long?" Sebastian asked.

"oh nothing, just some annoying flies."

IRENE P.O.V

He gave me a confused look but just decided to ignore my response and just enter the vehicle. Lincoln is already strapped in and playing with his toys so I took out some files that needed some re-checking since the previous lawyer wasn't so loyal. He must've put some bad conditions for agreement contracts and guess what! I already found one, with this condition Mr. Robert wrote down, the company lost about 200K when we could've saved that and gained 250K. Damn, I'm a good lawyer.



I decided to explain all the faults with the agreements that I've checked so far tomorrow when Sebastian has some time available to re-due agreements with several supply companies. I took out my phone from my purse and taped it on the notes app. I wrote down all the things I'm going to need for work, need to do tomorrow and what my routine for tomorrow is going to be. I also texted Destine on an update of Lincoln and sent a picture of him. Once we reached the house, I made my way to my room and leaving Lincoln with Sebastian. I started laying out tomorrow's outfit for Lincoln and my gym and formal outfit.

Once I've laid down the outfits and made sure they looked good and appropriate for tomorrow's weather, I hung, steamed my formal wear and put them in the bathroom. Like on cue, Sebastian came in with an irritated Lincoln.

"What did you do?" I ask Sebastian.

"Oh I didn't do anything, ask the women and Damon in this house. They made him cry." He said as he made his way to my bed and laid Link there with pillows surrounding him like a fort.

"Ok, good night. If people don't sleep in this house tonight. I'm blaming it on you." I say since most likely it's going to take a while to make Lincoln go to sleep.

"How do you handle kids so well?" He asks as he plays with Link a bit.

"In the UK mafia house, many are couples so I took care of most of the kids there when their parents went on missions."

He hummed in response as most of his attention is towards Link. His phone started vibrating on the nightstand.

"I'm going to go now, good night and also work is tomorrow

"yeah, yeah. Good night to you too"

Once he exited the room, I picked up Link and made my way to the balcony. It is a full moon tonight and its light is filling my room. I start cradling Link and started singing 'twinkle twinkle little star' in English.

After 40 minutes of entertaining Link, I get up and made my way to the bed and laid both me and him down. I don't move a lot when I sleep so I kept him close to me.

NEXT DAY

I wake up hearing my alarm set off. I check my phone for any messages from anyone, I then check the list I made yesterday. It's currently 5 am so I took a shower and did my skin routine; I put my wavy hair I got done in a high ponytail and changed into my gym wear. Thankfully Lincoln isn't awake yet and I guess he's gonna wake up in 30 minutes. I put the baby monitor on and connected it to my phone. I put my AirPods Pro on and went outside. The only people I saw were the morning shift guards and some maids making breakfast.

The neighbourhood is beautiful with a lot of nature parks and trails to walk and run with your dog.

"Hey beautiful"

I slowed my pace to find a fine man beside me. I took off one AirPods and turned off the music but made sure the baby monitor was connected.

"Hello...?"

"I haven't seen you around, you new here?"

"Ah, yes. I just came back from abroad."

"Oh! No wonder since I would never forget such a face."

I gave him a small smile. My smile suddenly turned into a startled one because I started hearing Link's whimpers.

"I have to go. See you around."

I patted him on his shoulder and ran back to the house. I ran to my room to see a woman trying to calm him down but instead made him cry even more.

"Here, give him to me."

"What? Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"I should be asking you the same thing but right now you are not to my importance. I have a nephew to care about so, Give. Him. To. Me."

She wasn't moving so I made my way over to her and gently snatched Link from her. It took me a moment to calm him down but once I was done, the woman wasn't there anymore. Yesterday I found the gym of this god-given house so I decided to go there to finish my workout.

Once I entered the gym, I found a freaking sound-proof lounge room! I placed Link there and closed the door since one whole wall is glass. I went on BlueTooth on my phone to check if this gym had speakers. I found one titled 'Gym Bluetooth Speaker'. I heard a sound indicating it's connecting and started playing Celoso by Lele Pons bass boosted version. The beat of this song gets me energized. I start skipping for 30 seconds to get a bit warmed up before hitting the boxing bag. I hit the bag harder and harder not missing a beat of the song. A few songs later, I check the time to see it's only 6 am. I also checked on Link every time a song ends to see him playing with his feet or the dangling toys. I decided to go to the rubber man thingy a while ago; Boss Bitch by Doja Cat started playing and now I'm getting all riled up again.

I hit the rubber person thingy in all its vulnerable acupuncture points and then the human most vital spots. Suddenly I hear someone hiss and I immediately turn around to see. about 50 men, some I recognize including Sebastian all in front of the exit. I grab my phone and disconnect it from the speaker.

"When did you guys get here?"

Sebastian was about to answer when Lance talked before he even got the chance to.

"Boss Lady Ren! You beat the hell out of that B. O. B bag."

So that's what's it called I thought as I turned around to see the condition of it. There are just black marks from me hitting it too hard that the paint of my gloves printed.

"Yeah, sorry about that. Anyways, is it training for you guys today?"

"Yeah, I was just going to evaluate what they learned in training so far. Want to join?" Sebastian responded.

"Nah, I decided to go to the company early today since your former lawyer wasn't so... Ugh, I can't even explain. Anyways, I and Link are going to go and I'm going to send you a list of things I need. Call your secretary to prepare it all for me."

"Links here? Also, just send it. I will forward it to Tania."

I just hummed its response and heading towards Link. I still need to bathe him but whatever, I need a second one anyway. Sebastian played with Links fingers a bit before we head out.

It was 7 am when I and Link finally got ready. I styled my black hair into a tight high ponytail and wore gold hoop earrings.

"Oh man I love the smell of babies," I said as I held Link very close to me. I grabbed the baby bag and made my way downstairs towards the Escalade. I told the driver that I'm driving today and he can just stay home. He hesitated but agreed. I put Link in his car seat making sure he's secure. I put my clutch on the passenger seat and drove off. While driving, I thought of all the stuff I did and mentally checked them off my list. Fed and burped Link, check. Worked out, check. Go to the company early, check.

Once I've reached the company, I took the baby bag and put my clutch in it, I took the car seat out with Link within and greeted yesterday's receptionist. The bodyguard of the building took the car to the parking lot so I don't have to worry about doing that. I remember Sebastian's password for his elevator since it's the date he took over the mafia. Link cood so I looked down seeing his admiring the view of the city from the elevator's glass wall that overlooks that outdoors. I smile seeing him so happy, it's too cute!

Once I've reached my level, I went to my office and set Link's play area near the glass wall that also overlooks the city. Tania comes in with the stuff I requested which includes writing supplies, and an iPad with a keyboard and an apple pencil. The work I needed to overlook was a lot so every time I go out to the main office where most employees worked, I always made a FaceTime call to my laptop from my iPad so I can see what Link was doing at all times. I know, I'm smart but I still shouldn't leave him.

Since I need to print some agreements that needed to be re-done, I decided to bring Link along since it's going to take at least 15 minutes and that is way too long to leave him alone. I was in the middle of printing and Link fascinating over other humans and computers when someone screams that Mr. Haven is here.

That's where the chaos began.

People started running and shoving into each other all trying to reach their desks. They all quickly started cleaning and organizing their workspace while I and Link just watched with wide eyes.

"What are they so panicked, Link?" I asked even though I knew he won't respond but he just made a sound.

Mr. Fiancé entered with two bodyguards and Damon on the right of him and Tania on the left. Now that's a fine piece of a specimen, my dear comrades. He entered with his nearly black hair styled. where the top was long and the sides were a bit short. He wore a black and gray three-piece suit with the pants ending above his ankle. A long light gray that matched his suit's gray accent hanging on his shoulders.

Wait for a second, is his outfit kind of matching me? Both the gray colours of his suit and my match. Damn, we look like a couple and not to mention probably might assume we have a kid since Link's outfit matches mine which equals to matching Sebastian's. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I see Sebastian making his way over to us.

"Good morning," He said as he kissed both mine and Link's cheek. I soft smile formed on my face when he did that.

"Your in a good mood," I say as I give Link over to him.

"What can I say, my men, do pay attention." I chuckled softly as we both made our way to the elevator after I took all my papers.
