"So you did go on a date with him!" Mokuba gasped with a smirk, "Good job, (y/n), you finally scored!" He rooted as he stared at you, who laid down on the couch.
"Well..." You hummed as you stared at the ceiling, "I wouldn't say it was a date."
"(y/n)," Mokuba frowned, "You and Yugi were out, together, on a date. Just the two of you."
"Well yeah," You scoffed as you turned your head to Mokuba.
"What did you guys do?" Mokuba smirked as he leaned forward, "You gotta tell me the details. Don't you dare hold back on me with this one!"
"Well..." You hummed as you recalled back to yesterday,
~ One Day Ago ~
You would've felt bad for Yugi if today was a school day. Thankfully, it was the weekend, so at least Yami thought carefully on the proper timing so Yugi won't lack anything educational. You actually took your time with heading to Kame Game, besides, it was nearly fifteen minutes away and it's only 12:25 pm, so technically you don't have to rush...except you can't help but be extremely nervous and terrified with whatever is gonna transpire from this. Besides, did you even think about what you're going to do with Yami for today?
'To be fair,' you thought to yourself, 'Yami did say just come, he didn't imply for you to think? I think?'
~ Present Time ~
"Oh my God!" Mokuba laughed as he slapped his knee, "You guys seriously don't know anything about dating!"
You blushed, "Oh hush," You rolled your eyes, "I didn't think that far."
"Well, don't worry. Normally it's the boy's job to worry about that, besides, it's Yugi's fault for not telling you." Mokuba shrugged and leaned forward eagerly, "Continue, please."
You scoffed at him and looked back up at the ceiling,
~ One Day Ago~
You sat on the bench near Kame Game at around 12:35 pm. You figured you could try to use this time and calm yourself down before you headed inside. You had a hunch if you dared walk in now, either Yugi's grandfather or Yugi himself will tease around and make it more awkward (of course, you didn't tell Mokuba the Yugi part). Taking deep breaths, you checked your clothes to make sure it was good enough for today. Due to Mai's intense shopping spree with you last night, you managed to come out with a simple dark green turtleneck shirt, navy blue jeans, and black mini boots. With the shirt, you added black suspenders; as heavily recommended by Mai herself. You even took it a step further and tied your hair in a quick bun. This would come into play to prevent yourself from playing with it too much later on if you get extremely nervous.
"You're wasting your time"
'Shut it,' you mentally snapped (Of course, you didn't tell Mokuba the Seal's remarks) and before you knew it, it was 12:50 pm. This did not help with calming down, it actually made it worse because now you're doubting Yami's choice in who to go out with.
~ Present time~
"(y/n)...." Mokuba rolled his eyes, "He chose you because he likes you!"
"I know I know," You rolled your eyes, "Still...Mokuba you'll understand when your time arrives."
~ One Day Ago ~
You were now debating if it's the right time to step into the store. Is it too early? Does Yami even want you to go to the store? He said to meet you infront of the store, not inside it. Even so, wouldn't it be nice to have some brief discussion with Solomon or something?
Thinking that made you feel a little regret for not going in sooner, but you felt it'd rush Yami more.
'Well, sitting here and thinking about it isn't gonna do much, so....' You tried getting up from the bench but found yourself paralyzed.
So this is what it means when people say first-date terrors exist. You were briefly paralyzed on the bench, your mind overflowing with questions such as why Yami chose you of all people to go out.
'No no,' You mentally shook your head, 'no depression for at least a couple hours, that means you too.' You mentally scoffed at the Seal before forcing yourself up and awkwardly strolled to Kame Game. For some strange reason, it was the longest minute in your entire life...getting up from a bench....
You slowly made your way to Kame Game, took a deep breath, and opened the door to hear a familiar voice,
"Welcome - oh! Hello (y/n)!" Solomon Motou (Yugi's grandfather) greeted you with a smile on his face, "How's it going?"
"Uh...going good." You nervously responded and looked around the store.
"Nervous, aren't you?" Solomon raised an eyebrow with a smirk, "It's alright, I was too when I met my wife."
"Really?" You asked,
"Yeah, except I was twice as nervous as you are now." Solomon nodded, "I was freaking out! Running everywhere around my room making sure it's all good. If I recall, Yami was doing the very same basically all day."
"Oh..." You blinked and watched Solomon nod,
"Mhm, even last night he was freaking out about it- well, I assume Yami was because Yugi was all smug when I checked on him.."
Yugi was probably teasing him. You translated as you realized something, "...wait, you know Yami?"
"Well, of course, I live with Yugi." Solomon gasped, "It's hard not to notice a huge change in him whenever the Pharaoh takes over. After all, I am the one who gave him the puzzle knowing what's to come once it's complete."
"Oh, you gave him the puzzle?" You asked, (Which, of course to avoid confusion, you didn't tell Mokuba anything relating to Yami and Yugi's separation.)
"Mhm, long story short, I went to Egypt and managed to obtain it..." Solomon stared at you, "...I'll tell you the whole version later."
"Why not now?" You asked,
"It's almost one." Solomon winked as he averted his gaze to the clock. You looked at the time to find it's one minute before one.
"Grandpa! Is-Is she here-." You heard a very familiar voice that came from the stairs behind Solomon. Freezing up, you watched Yami descend the stairs. He wore a black spandex turtleneck with black jeans. Attached to the jeans was a silver chain, along with a leather belt that strapped his waist that had a silver lining in the middle. It was a simple outfit, yet one that made you realize how attractive Yami really is.
At that moment, you felt happy that he chose you. It was a feeling you have never felt in such a long time, yet a feeling that's nostalgic. It was as though you always felt happy with him yet you've spent such a short time with him up until now. Right as you digested Yami's appearance, he locked eyes with you and lit up with excitement,
"Ah! You're here!" Yami chirped, his eyes practically shining the moment he laid his eyes on you, "Come upstairs with me, I want to show you something."
~ Present Time ~
Mokuba smirked, "So Yugi wanted to take you to his room, eh?"
"oh shush, nothing like what's in your head occurred." You laughed,
"That's saved for nighttime....of course, unless Yugi doesn't mind~" Mokuba winked, "So, then what did he show you? His toy-"
"Mokuba!" You gasped,
~ One Day Ago ~
You walked upstairs with Yami, "Are you sure it's okay for me to be in your room?"
"Of course! Why not?" Yami gasped,
"Has anyone else been?"
"Well, Tea once, I believe." Yami hummed, "But that's because of Yugi. You'll have to ask Yugi directly, for I'm sure more have been there before I showed up, but you can do that anytime."
"Ah, I see..." Humming, you walked with Yami as he opened the door to Yugi's room. Finding it tidy and neat, you watched Yami open his drawer and pull out a box. You blinked as he approached you while opening it to have the three Egyptian Gods. You gasped as your eye locked with the three top-tier cards.
"Holy-"
"Mhm." Yami nodded, "Looks cool, right?"
You nodded as he closed the box and put it back in the drawer, "It's something I never knew we could achieve, but here we are."
"Well, I mean hey, that's one prophecy out the window." You shrugged your shoulders as Yami chuckled,
"So, I was thinking for today's date a more adventurous one." Yami hummed as he sat down on the bed while gesturing you to sit next to him. You slowly strode your way next to him as Yami hummed in thought,
"Maybe we could take a look around separate duelling monster stores and see what kind of cards they have. I know some good stores Tea took me a while back. Think of it as a 'shopping spree', as Serenity calls it."
"So when I kick your ass it'll be with the same cards we bought together?" You smirked as Yami returned the smirk with one,
"Oho, you mean when I beat you?"
"Nah, don't think so." You shook your head,
"Oho, look at you Ms. (y/n) bold." Yami's eyebrow quirked then took a sigh, "Anyways, then after a few stores, we can check out some museums. What do you think? Are you alright with that?"
"Sounds good." You nodded,
"Alright then." Yami stood from the bed and looked at you with excitement, "Then shall we?"
~ Present Time ~
"I figured for some weird reason Yugi would be all like 'let's duel' or something." Mokuba gasped, "I didn't take Yugi for a museum type of guy. So formal and philosophical...."
Well, technically that's Yami, but you shrugged that off. "What, you mean the card-shopping didn't take care of your assumption?"
"Well, yeah, I figured that." Mokuba rolled his eyes, "Just didn't take Yugi for a museum-type."
You'd be surprised, Mokuba. You shook your head with a small smile before continuing,
~ One Day Ago ~
You found things to be quite pleasant as you and Yami made way to the district where most card-game stores were,
"Did you stay with Mai?" Yami asked,
"Hm? Well, for the most part." You answered, "Kaiba magically spawned at Mai's house late, though."
"Typical Kaiba." Yami rolled his eyes,
"Yeah, what else is new though? He wants to give thanks to Papa."
"You know, I wish to meet him. And your little sister as well." Yami hummed as he rested his hands in his pockets.
"I'm sure they'll love you." You smiled at him, "Oh wait, did I ever show you a photo?"
"You did, back before Joey fought Odion back in the tournament." Yami nodded as he opened the door to one of the stores, "After you."
Admiring his chivalry, you walked in the store and took a slow look around to find tons of cards - of course cards that your grandpa had already made and is selling (with a better price, which Mokuba laughed at that remark). However, not wanting to ruin it by comparing prices, you simply looked around for any cards that Papa wasn't selling; which you did. Yami seemed to have success as well, as both you and Yami didn't leave empty-handed as a result.
"How did you even find these stores?" You asked,
"Tea took me." Yami sighed as you flinched,
"Ah, she did? So it was a date." You fake smiled at him, referring to before the tournaments were even announced when you stumbled upon Yami and Tea. You watched Yami's face turn red,
"I...It wasn't a date. Yugi set me up." Yami explained, "I thought he was going on a date with her, but suddenly switched to me last minute right before Tea saw us."
"Ah, so Yugi set up a blind date?" Clenching your teeth, you teased - trying to hide the pure raw anger you didn't even know would transpire in you.
"Ah, no. Not really." Yami shook his head, "I asked Yugi afterwards and he said he wanted to try and help me out with finding my past. He thought Tea would help at the time, as she was nearby around when he was planning."
"Ah..." The anger dissipating, you listened to Yami's explanation while noticing Yami slowly relax as he opened the door to the next store,
"But it's strange," Yami's eyebrows slightly furrowed, "As much as I would love to consider it as a hangout with Tea, I do feel bad for her."
"How so?" You whipped your head to Yami as you walked in the store,
"She thought she was helping me find my past; which she did in part due to encountering Ishizu and the prophecy with Marik. But I did use her for other means as well." Yami sighed as he walked in the store with you,
"Such as?" You cocked an eyebrow at him. Even though your relationship with Tea's a little off, you didn't like the idea of Yami using her in means which she didn't -
"She helped me find good locations for a potential first date with you." Yami boldly answered, "It's strange, really, it is. I mean, I should've spent time with Tea yet I pondered about where to take you should I dare ask you out."
~Present Time~
"Awwwwww~" Mokuba cooed, "And here you are, worrying about Tea when Yugi's been thinking about you that whole time~"
"I mean, it's not that I'm worried or anything. It's just...she's weird around me for some weird reason."
"Maybe cause she's jealous?" Mokuba sneered, "She had jealousy in her eye when she looked at you during the tournament."
"Then why was she....nice to me sometimes?"
"Emphasis on sometimes, (y/n)." Mokuba's eyes narrowed, "It was a once in a blue-moon time. She was definitely jealous. Don't know why and I don't like it."
"Oh? Then I think you wouldn't like what I am about to tell you." You bit your lip,
"Why-" Mokuba gasped, "....No way." It seemed it clicked with him. You sadly nodded,
"Yep." You confirmed.
~ One Day Ago ~
After a few stores, you and Yami decided it was around time to stop by for a quick snack. It was strangely the perfect weather for a cold drink, so you and Yami made way to a nice pick-up café truck. After getting your drinks, you and Yami made way to a museum.
"Which museum are we heading to?" You asked,
"Hm, well there's plenty." Yami hummed, "Whatever is to your liking. What kind of museums do you like?" He asked while unconsciously wrapping his arm around yours.
You shrugged your shoulders, "I mean, I haven't really been to a museum before."
"You haven't?" Yami gasped, "Then good thing I'm taking you. Come on, let's check out a few."
You nodded, "Lead the way, Mr. Expert."
Yami laughed as his hand intertwined with yours, "Oh, I will."
He took a turn and began heading more into the city. However, along the way, your instincts told you to look around rather than just blankly stare at Yami as though he's the center of it all. It didn't take long before your eye latched onto two familiar figures.
'Holy shit.' You mentally gasped as you saw Tea and Serenity walking around as well. It seemed Tea was on a mission,
"Mission to interrupt your precious date?"
'Please don't put scenarios in my head and keep quiet.' You mentally noted to the Seal,
"Ah, here we are. It's an art museum." Yami interrupted your attention span as you looked to see a very small museum that held very nice paintings. Once admitted, you and Yami took a quiet stroll around the paintings and artifacts. Occasionally, Yami would stumble upon a painting or artifact and ask your opinion on the significance behind them. It was rather delightful to say the least, as you found yourself understanding Yami's mind more than you originally thought. You didn't even realize the whole time your hand had been locked with Yami the whole time, but you did notice how relaxed Yami had become since first meeting up with you today. His shoulders were more relaxed and he became more comfortable with you, it was as though he had waited for this for a very long time. Your eye drifted over near the entrance and your whole attitude shifted entirely when you spotted Tea and Serenity inside the museum.
Why the hell are they here?
"Ah, (y/n) look." Yami squeezed your hand for attention, "This is quite a complex one."
Your eye drifted over to a painting of what appears to be a kingdom towering over the sea that was mixed with blue, purple, and green. Feeling attached to this painting, you looked down at the description
Atlantis by Enikő Kramcsák (A:N; it's an actual painting! Here is the link; https://www.victoryart.eu/eshop/atlantis-painting-by-eniko-kramcsak-victory-art/p-445297.xhtml )
Your eyebrow quirked at the name and you glanced back up at the painting.
"You know, I wish to learn more about Altantis." Yami sighed, "There is so much I want to learn about in terms of Ancient history. Kind of hypocritical though, considering I know nothing of my past."
"Neither do I." You shrugged,
"Really now?" Yami gasped, "What do you mean?"
"In all honesty, the only thing I remember is Papa...and a few other things." You bit your lip as you remembered how the Seal came upon you. Of course, not visually, but you felt it. You would always remember the pain and the chants surrounding it. You felt your hand being caressed gently,
"We'll find out both our pasts together." Yami gently assured as he pulled you away from the painting, "I think we looked through them all, wouldn't you say?"
You briefly stared at the Atlantis painting, especially at the green colors. "....yeah..." You turned to look at Yami and found him staring at something. Even though it was brief; as Yami gave you a closed eye smile when you looked at him, you could tell there was anger in his soul.
After that museum, Yami escorted you to another and along the way, he asked what were your favorite ones.
"...The Atlantis one was nice." You noted as Yami nodded,
"I agree, that one was rather beautiful. I feel it indicated mystery."
He took you to another museum, it was a different art museum. It was gradual, but soon you and Yami resumed the routine you had in the last museum. It took a while this time because it seemed Yami was a bit troubled. Of course, whenever you asked, Yami would shrug it off and change subjects. As much as you wanted to enjoy the experience, you couldn't as much as you would spot Tea and Serenity in the corner.
~ Present time ~
"Literally what the heck is wrong with Tea." Mokuba sneered, "Doesn't she realize she's ruining a date?"
"Don't know." You shrugged,
"And Serenity was okay with it?"
"Hmmm...." You tried to recall Serenity's face, "It didn't seem she was comfortable with it."
"So Tea dragged her?" Mokuba rolled his eyes, "Such a friend she is. I bet Yugi noticed it too."
"You think? He was invested in the date though."
"But you did notice how he looked a bit mad, right?" Mokuba noted, "I think he did see them, he probably didn't want to ruin the date by indirectly including her. Did you guys confront them?"
"I was actually getting to that." You blinked as Mokuba gasped, now at the edge of his seat in pure suspense.
~ One Day Ago ~
It was close to nighttime, and after dinner, you and Yami ended up in an Ancient Egyptian museum - in fact the same one where Yami encountered Ishizu. He temporarily let go of your hand to open the door for you with a nostalgic smile,
"It doesn't matter how many times I come here, I strangely feel at home." Yami noted,
"Cause it's Egypt and you were the Pharaoh?" You raised an eyebrow as you walked in. Yami chuckled as he nodded his head and wrapped his arm around your shoulders. Surprised at his bold move, you slowly wrapped your arm around his waist. Of course, you were hesitant out of fear he would judge you, but he never seemed to care - in fact, he unconsciously leaned closer to you once you wrapped your arm around his waist.
"There is so much here that I want to show you." Yami spoke with a grin as he gave you a tour around the whole museum. Despite him saying he has no memory of the past, his knowledge of Ancient Egypt was quite massive and concrete. Again, this would've been better if you didn't spot Tea and Serenity lurking around. However this time they were a lot closer than usual. Admiring Tea's strange boldness, you had a hunch there's no way you could try to ignore her now considering the distance. It's either gonna be you or Yami that's gonna greet them. You took a quiet breath and turned your head to Tea,
"Oh my, it's Tea and Serenity!" You spoke through clenched teeth. This startled Tea as Serenity looked at you with remorse,
"Hi (y/n)!" Serenity greeted,
"Oh, hello." Yami bluntly greeted, "What are you guys doing here?"
"Oh, just reminiscing." Tea said, "I'm taking Serenity out on a tour before she leaves."
"Oh, you're leaving?" You looked at Serenity and watched her nod,
"Mhm! I am gonna be heading back to my mom, and I wanted a tour with a friend before I took off." Serenity nodded nervously.
"Yeah, we're just looking around at places to reminiscence about everything that has happened so far." Tea added.
If you recall, you never found Tea in art museums coincidentally where Yami has been taking you. You would've recalled a conversation relating to museums except for the one you're currently in. Yami's eyebrows furrowed as he looked frustrated when he listened to Tea.
"Hm, I see." Yami mumbled, "Well, (y/n) and I are wrapping up our date. I'll see you tomorrow though - well, Yugi will."
Your heart broke a little, is it already time to head out? You didn't realize how much time has passed.
"Oh, alright." Tea nodded and gave a smile to Yami, "See you! Let's head out, Serenity. I think the museum is closing soon."
"Oh, okay!" Serenity nodded and looked at you one last time, "I'll miss you, (y/n)!"
You got off of Yami's arm and gave Serenity a hug, "Until next time I guess. Have a safe journey."
"Bye, Serenity." Yami gave a genuine smile, which faded when he looked at Tea, "...Tea."
"Well! Bye guys!" Tea swopped Serenity and left the museum. You looked at Yami,
"Is the museum closing?" You asked,
"No, at least not for another two hours." Yami shook his head, "I was just making an excuse. There's still more I have to show you.
And that's what he did. He spent the whole two hours in the museum, telling you things that not even the description of the artifacts include. You and Yami stayed to a point where the manager interrupted to inform the museum is closing. You didn't even realize it's past ten o' clock at night until you left the building to meet with the night sky.
"Today went by rather...nicely." Yami sighed as he walked with you back to Kaiba Corp with his arm wrapped around your waist, "I wish things didn't turn up the way it did."
You stared at him as you unconsciously wrapped your arm around his waist, "...What do you mean by that?"
"I mean Tea and Serenity." Yami answered, "I mean, I enjoy her company but I was hoping I'd spend the day only with you."
You felt your cheeks heat up as he said that. Surely he didn't mean it like that.
~ Present Time ~
"OH GIVE ME A BREAK, (Y/N)!" Mokuba screamed, "YES HE DID! YES HE TOTALLY DID!"
"Oh come on, think of it in my perspective." You defended yourself,
"HOW? ITS SO OBVIOUS!" Mokuba screamed,
"I mean- I never knew someone like Yugi would...would...you know-"
"(y/n), your insecurities are literally ALL OVER your head!" Mokuba shook his head, "Yugi likes likes you!! HELL! YOU KNOW WHAT I AM GONNA SAY IT SINCE NO ONE IS." Mokuba grabbed his hair out of frustration, "YUGI MOTOU LOVES YOU. DIDN'T YOU GUYS KISS AT THE END?!"
Your face completely heated up, "W-WHAT?!"
"DIDN'T YOU?!?!?" Mokuba gasped, now offended at your response, "oh my- (Y/N) PLEASE TELL ME YOU GUYS KISSED. IT'S. DATING. TRADITION." He smacked his hands together per word, "FIRST DATE EQUALS FIRST KISS."
"Well...no...not really?" You weakily mumbled as Mokuba gave you the most offended look you've ever seen in him,
"...then what the hell did you guys do?"
~ One Day Ago ~
It was a pleasant walk back to Kaiba Corp but you definitely sensed something was wrong with Yami.
"What's up?" You asked,
"Mmm..." Yami shifted and pulled you closer - you were practically walking ontop of him at this point, "...Why does Kaiba always have you in his place?"
"It's his form of gratitude for my grandfather. As long as I'm here, I'm technically Kaiba's property."
"You could stay at Yugi's plac-" Yami halted in his tracks right as he spoke. You could feel as though he didn't realize he said that as he immediately cleared his throat and acted as though he had a coughing fit, "Mai's. You could stay at Mai's."
"Well, if Kaiba is okay with that." You shrugged, figuring it'd be best to ignore what Yami said prior as to prevent him from leaving and having Yugi take his place - as he accidentally did numerous times.
"Did you have to get permission from Kaiba to have this date?" Yami asked,
"No, not really." You shook your head, 'I just told him I'm spending time with you today. I knew if I said it's a date, he'll tease about it for a while or belittle it."
"Knowing Kaiba, he probably knew." Yami shrugged (Mokuba did confirm. Kaiba knew.) and looked at you once more, "(y/n), I want to tell you something before you head in." He said as he stopped in his tracks. You blinked and soon realized you were standing in front of Kaiba Corp.
"...I enjoyed today, I really did and I want to spend more time with you alone." Yami took a deep breath - it's as though he was preparing for this his whole life, "...and I just wanted to let you know that I want to continue like this for....for a long time. As long as I am here."
You felt touched but didn't like where this is going,
"...For that...I want to know more about you." Yami spoke as held your hands, "I want to know everything that you remember. Of course, when you're ready. I don't want you stressing about it, but I truly feel you're special in more ways than one."
Your heart soon began to pound as he spoke. You knew exactly what he's talking about which broke your heart the most. It actually forced you to remember why you can't live such a normal life. You took a shaky breath and nodded,
"...I know." You nodded. Of course you knew you have to tell him about the Seal of Orichalcos. You knew in order to continue these lovely dates you have to fess up and tell him everything. But the fear of him leaving you is extremely high, or the fear that these nice simple dates will never be the same.
"I will always be available, just give a call or go to Kame Game, alright?" He leaned closer to you and kept your hands tight under his. He rested his forehead against yours for a bit, "So trust me as much as I do with you."
You wanted to cry and tell him everything, but knowing how it's late for Yugi, you simply nodded and held it all back. "...Okay." You nodded as Yami separated and stared at your hands,
"...I truly enjoyed today. We should do this more. I'll swing by for another soon." Yami smiled as he caressed your hands before letting them go to cup your face, "...I-" He froze in place, "...I'll see you soon."
"...Okay." you nodded and felt his hand leave your face despite the warmth still being there. He gestured you to walk in Kaiba Corp, which you slowly did as you watched Yami turn around and leave with great hesitation.
~ Present Day ~
"THAT'S IT?!" Mokuba hissed, "OH MY- (Y/N)! ARE YOU OBLIVIOUS OR SOMETHING?!"
"What's that supposed to mean?!" You frowned,
"HE WAS GONNA SAY HE LOVES YOU!" Mokuba screamed in pure agony, "OH THE HORROR. THE IRONY. I THOUGHT JOEY WAS A NIGHTMARE! NO, IT'S THIS ROMANCE!"
"H-How do you even know if he was gonna say he loves me?" You asked,
"IT'S SO OBVIOUS! HE WAS GONNA BUT HE FROZE UP AND CHANGED HIS MIND. He probably didn't want to make it awkward or something. Don't worry. I'll fix that." Mokuba nodded with a smirk,
"...what's that supposed to mean?" You sneered,
"Next date, (y/n), you're gonna make that move." Mokuba nodded to his plan, "just as he turns to leave, you're gonna grab his collar and pull him in for a kiss."
"WHAT?!" Your whole face turned red, "MOKUBA!"
"YOU MUST OR ELSE I WILL CALL YOU GRANDMA (Y/N)."
"GRANDMA?!" You gasped, now offended,
"YES. ONLY OLD PEOPLE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO." Mokuba nodded, "YOU GUYS CLEARLY LOVE EACH OTHER. IT'S TIME FOR AN UPGRADE! EVERYONE WANTS IT!"
"Everyone?" You cocked an eyebrow,
"....Except one...but we don't talk about her." Mokuba rolled his eyes, "FOR TEAM YUGI AND (Y/N)!"
Right as he said that, you immediately felt a sharp pain all over your eye and back, especially your eye. It was as though lightning struck your eye at that moment and you clutched your eye. From a distance, you could've sworn you heard some form of chant. Mokuba was busy praising his own words, so you had a brief time to try and digest this sudden pain before you felt something was wrong.
Yeah, something was deadly wrong. You can't stay here.
"I...gotta go to the bathroom-" You quickly rose, "Yup. Gotta go."
"Go ahead, Ima plan for this next date." Mokuba grinned as he rubbed his hands together. You bolted to your room and into the bathroom. Forget locking it, you closed the bathroom and yanked out the eyepatch. You let out the biggest gasp the moment you looked at the mirror as your heart pulled a temporary stop.
Your eye was bleeding.
